Quality of their dim sum dishes have declined. Range of dim sum options available has also shrunk - pretty disappointing. CNY price hike not justified at all even with the usual 15% discount on all Dim Sum menu. The plate of XO Carrot Cake costs $30 with only a few very small pieces of prawns and scallops. Does not taste the same as previous years at all too. Fried Rice with a few pieces of tiny abalone costs $48. All before taxes. I can understand CNY price hike but this is too unjustified. Do NOT be fooled by their 50% dim sum promotions at all. Highly recommend you visit Taste Paradise instead. Staff is overall still as efficient for higher customer turnover but please focus on improving the quality of dishes served. Perhaps better to offer an ordering sheet with clear prices of each item on the dim sum menu. Disappointing encounter.

Located at level 1 of Thomson Plaza Mall. Chinese restaurant. Quite an extensive menu. The food looked quite delicious and well photographed. Overall, the food was unique, I did find the food a bit salty. But overall still quite flavourful. Service wise was very subjective, depending on which service staff attended to you. One thing for sure, this restaurant like all other F&B outlets, was lacking in manpower. Prices were considered reasonable, taking into consideration of the inflation. One key thing to take note is the mooncake is now being offered at $50 for 4, with nice packaging (2 types of boxes to select) at no additional cost. Seemed like the best deal for mooncake in Singapore!

A great place to dine with nice food and ambience. Service is good and fast too. You will need to use the Eatigo App to obtain the 50% discount to make it worthwhile. Otherwise, it is really expensive. As shown in the attached photos, the few dishes for the dinner originally cost slightly above $400. However, after the discount, the nett price of $220 is still reasonable.

I’ve eaten at Peach Garden outlets elsewhere before and I’ve been impressed by the variety and quality of their food. Had the afternoon dim sum at 3 pm on a Friday at the Thomson outlet. While I enjoyed the pushcart experience and friendly aunties, the variety of dim sum was a lot less than expected. After several rounds of showing our table the same kinds of foods (that we ordered already), we decided to order the Peking duck. Duck was ok but could be juicier and served hot. My favorite dish was the fried wontons; fresh, crunchy and surprisingly meaty inside. Service was good and staff were polite. Still prefer the Peach Garden in the CBD as my go to.

The eatery has customary pushed carts that goes round each table so patrons can choose dim sum. It has introduced novel approaches to food presentation, such as presenting noodles in a container and serving soup in a little pot with a warmer. Additionally, they have introduced a 50% discount for every a-la-carte and dim sum during weekdays between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. Well worth thinking about! Excellent and attentive service is provided.

Read quite a bit of bad reviews about peach garden. But for this branch, Thomson Plaza, the service is good. Staffs are friendly. The food is served in push carts and is hot and crispy. We were served immediately after we sat down. The waitresses keep pushing different Push carts to serve hot food. A lot of variety.

We enjoyed the tim sum but the variety seemed kind of a limited. Service was efficient but the meal was certainly pricey. Interesting charges for tea and wet napkins!

It's a no waste time restaurant. Upon sitting down, food immediately dished out on the table. Foods serving is fast an the timing is good too. Tim Sum High tea 2 hours buffet it's worth the time and money. Great food and service!

Patronized them at Thomson plaza branch for buffet dinner. All the foods served were mediocre except roasted pork and soon hock fish. However our second repeated order for the soon hock fish irked us the most. Flesh was still raw and cold inside. The wasabi sauce prawn is overly cooked, the outer layer was warm but inside was cold. We will not patronize again , once and for all.

We went to the Thomson plaza outlet after making a reservation for 10 pax 1 month ago for the 1for1 dinner buffet on a Friday to celebrate a birthday. The promotion is supposedly comes with a peking duck for free for weekday buffet meals as per checking when we made the reservation. It is really disappointing for such a reputable restaurant that they did not give customer a call to inform on the changes in the terms of the promotion after a supposedly weekday Friday turned into a public holiday after the government announcement of polling day and we had to pay for the public holiday dinner price and no longer get the peking duck for free anymore. The service staff did not make it part of their service standard to inform customers on this sudden change in their terms and has caused a lot of unhappiness on a birthday celebration. Upon checking with service staffs when we dined we were shooed a couple of times being said that we just have to follow the terms that has been changed and not informed. After much communication with the different service managers, a lady manager promise to give us orh nee dessert as part of their apology of not meeting the service standard however to our surprise while we are finishing our meal we were told by other service managers that the kitchen chef has knock off from work and they can no longer serve us the dessert they are supposed to serve. Upon checking with another manager much later then he agreed he will inform the kitchen to cook it for us as part of the promise. It is very misleading and bad service that customers kept getting confused with different messages from different service staffs and unacceptable service standards just to make us quickly eat and leave the restaurant. Although it’s a buffet meal, the serving speed of the food took pretty long, the quality of the food is really just average and the most unfortunate part is the service standard of this restaurant is really bad. We do not recommend dining at this place, there’s a lot of other better restaurants that serves better quality food and much better customer service. This will unfortunately be the last time we will dine here due to all of the above when we have intended to enjoy the occasion of the birthday.

Went for the Ala carte buffet (min 4 pax) and total damage was about $55 per pax. Added on surcharges not included in buffet listing price would be the pickles appetizer, wet towels and chrysanthemum tea. The menu offered good variety of seafood items but limited vegetables. The highlights from the buffet was the premium soup series, herbal prawns, pork ribs, cauliflower and the fried rice. Lobster in chili crab sauce was a bit of let down, same goes for the stirred fried beef slices, which I found was lacking in taste and seasoning. Other items like smoked duck, sweet & sour pork, roasted pork, fried soon hock fish were ok, but it could have be better, eg. The soon hock fish should have more of their soya sauce to give a richer taste to the dish.

food was really expensive because of the chinese new year period. for reference, the broccoli below which probably cost $3 in the supermarket costs $68++ here. the claypot rice came to $100++ when it only had preserved meat inside. go for the dim sum as there is daily promo. roast duck was nice too. the century egg porridge was expensive but really good. just skip the cny items as it’s a rip off

Refer to the attached pictures. Lunch for 2 pax The dim sum selection (push cart style) and the century egg porridge, tasted above average. However, one aspect that slightly dampened the experience was the persistent recommendation from the captain to order the half duck with roast pork. Despite explaining we may not be able to finish, we settled for a quarter duck, and even that proved to be a challenge to finish. The dining experience could have been improved with a bit less insistence on additional orders. Total damage: $120. $60 / pax

It has been 5 years since we last dined here and so we thought of revisiting it since we still have craving for dimsum after returning from Guangzhou 3 weeks ago. The high tea buffet was from 3-5pm (weekend). By around 2.45pm, many diners had already turned up at the entrance of the restaurant and almost even blocking the walkway. But the 2-3 staff standing there took no sight of it and only started admitting diners at 3.00pm sharply. They should have exercised the discretion to let diners in 10 or 15mins earlier instead of causing commotion there (when they started doing that at 3pm, all the diners just rushed up disorderly and despite those who came early got being pulled up by those who came later). Not organized at all, or at least those who turned up early to get a queue no. or based on reservation etc. Nothing was done, very disorganized. Ambience wise, ok, they had done some renovations and now was brighter and more spacious. The key attraction here was the pushcart dim sum which you can order when the staff passed by. And there were those you can take on your own at the counters. Overall, foods were satisfactory and there were "hits and misses". Suprisingly, there were no prawn dumpling (har kow), pastry cakes and custard buns as they used have and even for the latter, the salted egg yolk and even the charcoal powdered ones). And there were no fresh cut fruits too though they offered fruit cocktails as desserts and ice cream wrapped with waffle biscuits. Service staff were generally friendly and efficient is clearing used plates and replacing new ones. And by 4pm, the cashier started going around for payment. Imagine you came in after queuing at say 3.15pm, within a short time, even before you finish your first round of food, you are given your bill to pay! Prices have gone up too though they have 4-for-3 promotions but do note that the Chinese tea is chargeable extra at $4 per pax (though refillable) and is compulsory. So satisfactory dinning but no longer as good or thrilled as before!

Food is not bad. We ordered a few dishes of Tim sum. We also ordered efu noodles, beehoon and different types of meat which came up to 300+ but we had a discount of 30%. However they ran short of Tim sum dishes and so had to wait. Later we found out that they were having a buffet dinner function I think so they were also preparing food for that. Yam cake / carrot cake were good. Efu noodles and beehoon were good too. Not too salty😊

We went for the Ala Carte menu, ordered the Peking Duck, baby lobsters, tonic soups and desserts! The most memorable treat was the desserts, especially the yam paste! Their service was also excellent too!

food was bussin! would pass on the squid personally but everything was pretty good and service was on point. bamboo clams were really good, on the pricey side but decent serving so i digress. venison was perfectly cooked, not over. serving sizes were good. peking duck was amazing - the reason we came actually. they sliced it up for us. sauce that came with is on the thinner side but taste was there. the duck was well cooked and the skin was literally glistening. tofu w spinach was alright, don’t hate it but don’t love it. nothing special so probably won’t order next time. will definitely be back to try more items on the menu 🥹

Went to Thomson Plaza branch for dim sum. Service was excellent. Love the concept of push cart dim sum. Ordered a few as there were only 2 of us eating. The carrot cake is on the salty side. Dim sum is normal, not wow factor. Overall pleasant experience. But food is on pricey side. 1 dish of 3 dim sum at $8.80! Spent $50-60 per pax. 💸

Went to try their weekend lunch dim sum buffet, 4 pax for the price of 3. Food is good and delicious. First round of dim sum/food was served very fast. However, when we order the second round of dim sum, we waited for quite some time before it was served. Can see that they are overwhelmed by the huge amount of order from the customers. It will be better if they can improve this area of service. Overall, worth the money for the amount of food that you can eat during the 2 hours buffet.

Peach Garden at Thomson Plaza has been around for many years. My last visit would have been more than ten years ago now. The food here is generally good. I really enjoyed the Venison, which was served in a flaming pineapple! Apart from the aesthetics, the meat was thick yet tender and delicious. The Tofu was also very good. The vegetable was, however, rather bland. The tables were rather closely packed and there wasn't a lot of space. As a result, I got kicked or brushed by several people as they walked past me. This was despite me sitting as close to the table as I could. If they didn't cramp the tables so much, it would have been a more enjoyable dining experience. I'm not sure if the other branches serve the same menu. If you've not tried it, I would say it's worth checking out.

Went with my family for ala cart buffet dinner, dishes are common like zi char dishes. Taste a bit more salty. The portion is big so you will not be able to order different dishes to try. Prices are reasonable as they are having a 50% discount. Personally feel so so only

Initially reserved a table online at 7pm but the system did not capture it, furthermore the 1-for-1 ala carte buffet session was supposed to start at 7.45pm, however the staff was kind enough to let us have it anyway when we arrived at 7pm. The food was great at such a decent price and the staff were really friendly and proactive in recommending dishes and changing the plates. Is my 2nd time at Peach Garden, and it was still an enjoyable experience. Thank you for the good service and food!

We came after hearing good review of the dimsum in Peach Garden @ Thomson. It was indeed not disappointing. The dimsum was amazing, the restaurant staff were all very friendly and polite. Especially likes the traditional push-cart style of serving.

Just had their A La Carte Buffet w Lobster. The food were pretty good and tasty. Plating was nice too compare to their other outlets. However the biggest let down were the lobsters. Each diner gets half a lobster, it wasnt fresh, and the meat were mushy. Never eaten such a bad lobster. My fellow diners also felt the same way.

The quality of food is nothing exceptional. The only thing I thought was quite nicely done was the roast crispy duck. They also managed to serve some rather chewy cubes of Wagyu beef. Perhaps that makes it exceptional. LOL. A la carte menu was served family style, with all dishes coming out at once, including the noodles which tends to dry out if you don't eat it immediately. It's not that I don't like family style dining, it's that the prices do not match the expectation. As for the dim sum when we went down another day, the options are not complete and therefore not compelling. Like there's no glutinous rice in lotus leaf. There was also no interesting interpretation of an old favourite, generating a feeling of same old same old. Perhaps the only selling point is the moving carts of food. I used to dine there for a nice time out, a place to bring guests out to, but I wouldn't even bring myself here anymore. Not for the kind of prices they charge. Either the experience and food quality has to improve, or the prices have to come down.

Had a pleasant Tim-sum lunch at the Peach Garden in Thomson Plaza. Although the timsum selection was limited, the food quality was good. I particularly liked the noddles with big prawns 🍤 the noddles were springy and gravy flavourful.

Most of the dishes are delicious. Especially the Peking Duck. Notable mentions are the Cereal Prawn which are fresh and crisp. The stir-fried beef horfun is also tender with wok hey taste. But the problem is during peak hours, it can be difficult to get hold of the service staffs. Generally still worth booking in advance for a meal for celebratory events.

It’s been a while since my last visit. We ordered a good range of steamed and fried dim sum, total bill turned out to be $100+ for 2 pax. We had a little bill shock. 🥲 (Maybe it’s normal range for dim sum 🥟 nowadays ?) Food is reasonably good and service staff are kind. May not come back very often. Do share with me if you have better dim-sum options in Singapore. 🙂

Went for lunch on Thursday, service staff were friendly and food were served fast. Top pick: Har gao and bamboo clam! The noodle and fried rice portion was a bit too big.. but overall a good meal 💯

  • 3/5 S L. 9 months ago on Google
Good location and excellent service. Dim sum quality is acceptable, we ordered the traditional items like siew mai, har gao, char siew bao, steam rice rolls, fried yam fritters with minced pork fillings and prawn mango roll. The only disappointing item is the black bean steam pork ribs, totally devoid of flavour. Average price per plate of 3 pieces is $9.80, and there is a 30% for senior citizens for breakfast.

The food was excellent! The service was wonderful so attentive and accommodating. A good place for friends gathering and family's celebration. The ambiance was perfect. Overall, this was an incredible dining experience. Five stars service from Nelson.

My all time favourite place for all occasions. Nelson never once failed me for his tip top service and his kitchen always serve the tastiest food. Be it ala carte order or buffet, the food is always serve hot, fresh and tasty. Always remember to book in advance especially holidays and weekends. There is always big crowds gathering outside the restaurant waiting for them to start their operation. Yes, they are that good and popular, and they never compromise their quality and service even when they running full house.

Visited the restaurant on a Saturday afternoon. The overall dining experience was a pleasant one with nice dim sum and awesome services. The food servers with thier warm smile and attentive demeanor, made us feel like valued guests. They consistently checked in to ensure we had everything we needed, and their friendly nature added a personal touch to the meal. Highly recommend to come and try their dim sum.
