Had Grain buffet at a church wedding. To my surprise, the food was very nice for buffet standards. It tasted very western and delicious and not greasy/heavy! I love the chicken? Herbal chicken dish? And also the cream fish. The palate cleanser was very refreshing too. The iced tea was very well done too - not the cheapo kind of iced tea. Will order their buffet if I ever need one!

Order the Christmas meal. The order was a huge disappointment to the family member on this occasion. The stated delivery time was 4:45pm, but the food arrived at 4pm and was cold. When I opened the log cake, the cake slipped off the cake board. Set aside the taste of the food is bland; the chicken was uncooked. Refer to the attached photos. I hope you can take this feedback seriously and improve on the way the food was served to the family that has elderly and young kids. Wrote to the customer service, no response at all. Thank you. Check your food is cooked upon receiving esp. when raw salmon can cause food poisoning due to bacteria. I received the lunch bento at around 12:30pm today and when i unbox the bento, the strong fishy smell hit my nose. I took a scoop of the salmon and noticed it was not fully cooked on the inside and it was raw when I further cut the salmon (it was not just a bit pink). I have feedback to Grain and their account manager had contacted me that they will feedback to the kitchen and improve for future orders. If i feel unwell and have any diahorrea, inform them and they will follow up. There were earlier reviews on uncook food. Grain may want to seriously quality check the food to ensure it is really cooked inside out before delivering to customer and not just instagramable on the outside.

Ordered Grain’s 3-4 pax christmas set and added on beef shortribs and brisket for my company dinner. The beef and shortribs deserves a special shoutout for the smokey flavour, tender meat and tasty sauces. I did not try the chicken, but seems like it was ok (a little dry when i cut thru but it was accompanied with sauce). The purple cabbage pasta was ok, done properly not overcooked. The salmon was quite a small portion so i did not try but feedback was good. Same goes for the duck, sauce was interesting. I liked the pumpkin. Letdowns; brussel sprouts were so overcooked and mushy inside. The beets were ok, and the salad looked fresh, but the tasteless sprouts were pretty bad not to mention bland so it was left untouched. If you see the photo it had lost all green colour already. The red velvet cake was a little dry but other than that was ok. The logcake although was an early bird free gift, but the most disappointing of all. On christmas nonetheless! The sponge itself was drench in what i guess was the lychee syrup to the point it had become mushy and wet. There wasnt much other taste nor texture, it was just a log of wet mild lychee mush. Yup… went mosty untouched too.. The delivery and packaging itself was great, loved how they provided nice sturdy tongs for the food as well. The sauces for the mests were in nice little jars. I think only the food needs improvement. Especially veggies and dessert. Still a good job, and thanks for the great experience! Might go with them for our next event if they make changes to the desserts.

Grain is one of the best buffet caterer in terms of food quality. Have ordered a few times. This time ordered their farmed grilled chicken, chicken was very fresh & well flavoured. Love their side dishes like broccoli and also their brown rice! Recommend grain for a hearty, healthy and nutritious quality meal!

Best buffet ever! Ordered their classic buffet for our family gathering — everyone including Ah Ma enjoyed the food! Their Tuscan garlic cream fish is a must-try! We ordered the high tea buffet from Grain last Saturday. Their delivery staff were prompt & professional in setting up & they were polite too. Our party enjoyed the good selection of food. Perhaps more eggs could be added to the local black carrot cake. The food presentation was excellent . We will definitely not hesitate to use Grain again for our next event.

Food arrived at 10:25am on 13/12/21. Food was completely cold though the receipt stated the food was cooked at 10:00am. The skin of chicken was not removed and grapes were not fresh. I had to throw away chicken because it got only frozen tasted, nothing else. Keep rice so I can do fried rice later. I won’t pay a cent there anymore.

Pam and team provided superb service and customer experience! Food was tasty and good as well, many compliments from my guests as we hosted a wedding lunch at a somewhat tight space at a HDB block. Setup was done swiftly and teardown was also seamless, 0 complains only compliments! Would highly recommend them!

For the CNY buffet, love the fish and chicken dishes. Nian gao was good especially since it came in a fish shape and taste good. The rice was a bit bland. Prawns were good too. Fortune cookies was labelled as Fortunate Cookies on the table label as well as on the packaging. The lou hei was nicely packed and Grain even prepare a plastic to cover the table or placed on the floor as lou hei tossing causes the ingredients to "fly" around the place. Thoughtful!

All my guests enjoyed the food. Brussels were cooked with good taste. Duck meat was tasty. Delivery was prompt & came earlier. Only lychee log cake was too sweet. We finished all the food with satisfaction. Sushi i& sashimi are not from grain.

Ordered Grain’s Christmas mini buffet set for my family’s Christmas dinner. The food was superb, but the experience and service standards went above and beyond. The staff made sure to keep us informed and secure every step of the way, and made us feel welcomed and supported throughout the collection process. Not only was the food a delicious, but the portions were also generous and inviting. Dinner was a hit with everyone, highly recommended!

Never would imagine Grain offers such delicious catering services for CNY! Originally known to me as the healthy office bento delivery, the CNY set was absolutely delightful. What really impressed us were the thoughtful serving items that came with the delivery, a trash bag, disposable tablecloth for Lohei, besides the paper cutlery. There's also a bingo card set for your guests to interact with each other. Will surely put Grain on top priority for future catering needs!

Great healthy lunch options, just wish they had more variety for vegetarian options. It gets boring after a while for the meal plans. However what vegetarian meals they do have are really tasty. 👍

My 1st try on the prep meal from Grain. Main dish: vanilla citrus buttery salmon, huge portion yet mouth watering. Dessert: ondeh-ondeh pandan cake and mixed fruit parcel. The cake is too sweet for me i guess it due to the "gula melaka". The fruit is juicy. Grain is no doubt a good option for food order especially during this pandemic. To avoid the long queue and unnecessary socialization. Add on: the healthy and fresh (assorted fruit)juice for lazy people like me

My company ordered Grain for lunch. They were late for 1 hour but compensated us with additional 5 box( vegetarian meal) The taste of the Lunch box is good and flavourful enough.. love the beef steak. Impossible beef curry was good too. Hope to see improvement in their delivery next time :)

Ordered from Grains for my twin boys birthday party. Ordered for 30 pax buffet but the food is not enough. The photos shows all the food there is. For one, the salad certainly does not looks like it can serve 30 pax. Will seriously reconsider as i dont think they are honest with the quantity of the food they provide.

Our company quite often ordered food from Grain due to the quality and taste. Today was no different. Everything was fantastic from the sales team Alvin particularly, to the driver Shahrizal and the food presentation. All my colleagues gave a thumbs up to the food taste and some went for seconds or third! Thank you, Grain, for always rising up to the standard.

Limited choices for 100pax. Chicken dry and tough. Difficult to poke with the wooden cutlery. The fish was too mushy. The chocolate cake was more on the dry side.

No regrets choosing Grain for my church wedding catering. Pamela was an absolute joy to work with, she was very accommodating, helpful and responsive to my many requests and last minute changes, giving her professional input and opinions in helping me choose the food and more. Many of the guests commented that the food was really good and they particularly loved the shakshuka and chocolate cake! I will choose Grain again for my other catering needs in a heartbeat! Better late than never, we had a scrumptious Christmas spread that fed the whole family with surplus. Loved that flavours were abundant but not unhealthy tasting. The smoked chicken is divine and a favourite all year round. Can’t wait to try the CNY buffet coming up!

Have a chance to try out the bento during an event. The delivery and set up were done in very smooth and professional manner. As for the bento, the taste is great with rather interesting combination within single box. I like how the ingredients and the freshness information are clear on the cover.

I was planning for a small buffet reception for my relatives after the tea ceremony at my daughter's wedding. I decided to order from Grain after viewing their menu. From point of ordering to the delivery of food, Grain service was impeccable. Pamela walked me through the items on the menu and the delivery man was superb patient and helpful. Above all, the food was healthily good, cooked with just the right amount of seasoning without compromising on the taste. All the guests dug into the food, eating with gusto. I will certainly order from Grain again for my next gathering.

Ordered Christmas Party set 2021 plus a Signature Sanchoku Beef Brisket on Christmas Day. Food is well prepared and packed in a thermal bag. Food is tasty and still warm. Delivery is punctual despite Christmas day.

We were glad to engage Grain as the caterer for our event. Grain saves us a lot of hassle by managing the registration from participants. Participants were able to select their food choices and have it delivered to their homes. There are good variety of mains and it was delivered in presentable takeaway boxes. Package looked inviting but contents were😳, the rice was hard and extremely salty. There was slivers of veg's. The chicken was rubbery. Disappointed as I had read some good reviews

Grain popped up after some searching. - Good variety and sufficient - Real value for money (guests were guessing twice the $$ I paid for the party set) - Everyone enjoyed the food - Food was well packed, with serving utensils and cutlery all provided. Really convenient. All in all, I had a great experience from ordering to end of party. Thank you Grain! Note that self collection point needs a bit of navigation, so plan your trip earlier if you opt of self collection.

Ordered the Christmas deal. Overall the food taste is ok and I did called to check whether we can omit all spicy if any. Was informed that is totally kids friendly. My kids and my guest kids all didn’t manage to eat much as the only dish they eat is spaghetti but it is spicy. Recommended!!! Will order again next time.

It was a great experience engaging Grain. Pamela the sale staff was very pleasant, helpful, friendly, responsive and really knowledgeable on the type of selection of food who had curated a menu that was very well received. The food & drinks were of very good quality and tasty which made everyone one happy. The delivery & set up team (Hyrie and team member) were very pleasant, friendly, responsive, timely and did a great job on the presentation set up, and also the subsequent packing & clearing up. It was an extremely pleasant dealing with Grain and wonderful delivery of service by them for my church event on 2 September 2023

Had the Christmas party set just now. The Salmon Parcel was not too bad. It was firm and cooked just nice (not over nor under cooked). It was the saving grace. The Duck Leg Confit was easily one of the worst I ever had. The meat was tough and tasteless. The Smoked Mesquite Whole Chicken had more taste than the duck. Even so, the chicken felt under-seasoned and underwhelming. Hope there will be more quality control and practice for party menus, especially when the food/menu is meant for celebrating a big festive occasion.

Tried 3 of their chicken based bentos but will only recommend the Cajun Chicken Ragu. Cajun chicken was well seasoned. Loved the ragu sauce, complements the chicken & fusilli. The others were below average and not in picture. The Neo-Hainanese Chicken Rice was quite bad although the serving was reallllyyy generous. Chicken tasted like boiled chicken breast, super dry and stale chicken that the ginger sauce couldn't salvage it. Rice was tough too. The Chiba Outback Teriyaki Chicken was slightly better but also below average. Chicken was tough and lacked flavour. Only thing nice was the sauteed mushroom. Would not recommend these 2.

Ordered two of their Christmas items recently and really enjoyed them. I especially liked the Mushroom Chicken Casserole. It was very hearty and tasty. Would definitely try to order again before the festive season ends.

My company and ex-company have been using Grain. Their foods are wonderful that suits my office as it suits the multi racial taste. Grain staff are friendly, always able to help and answer my queries. Delivery team always cheerful and helpful. Definitely will use them and highly recommended.

Lots of interesting options, with a variety of cuisines. The Iron Bowl: 6/10. The truffle yogurt is nice. Peri-Peri Chicken: 4/10. I’m just personally not a fan of how it’s cold.

Menu was unique, unlike traditional menu. My guests all enjoyed the food! They sang praises of the excellent spread! Portion wise, it was a lot! The sales representative was also super helpful and friendly. Overall, a great experience with them! Will definitely cater from them again in future :)
