Great tacos, especially the prawn tacos. I think 2 tacos is enough for 1 person along with some small shared dishes. The staff were all friendly, they came by for some small chats. We sat outside the entrance and it was relatively warm especially with some alcoholic drinks.

Second time visiting and may I add that George never fails to impress! He makes every effort to understand his customers' needs and offer honest recommendations for food. He certainly has extensive knowledge of wine and cocktails! Thank you for always making us feel welcome and at home! 5 stars to this place for it's ambience and service! An amazing dinner at Lucha loco, food was delicious and value for money. Ambience was very comfortable and cosy. George provided amazing service and his recommendations for the cocktails and food were superb. 10/10 experience and will head back again!

Impromptu dinner and luckily managed to get counter seats. Food was served promptly, as are the drinks. Food is fresh, tangy and good portions. Prices are overall reasonable and I personally love the seafood cerviche. Recommended!

I came in during the day when there wasn’t a crowd yet, but the decor was very nice and the restaurant was clean and well maintained. I ordered two baja-styled crispy fish tacos along with a side of chips. I loved the taste of the thinly sliced cabbage and combination of orange sauce + salsa that complemented the taste of the tacos. The staff was welcoming, especially George and gave me tips on where to eat good crab in Singapore. (Did I mention he also wears a cool sombrero/hat). The staff here is very friendly and considers everyone as one of their amigos 😀 I’d definitely be back to try a margarita and their slow-cooked meat tacos in the future!

Please get set to be wowed- though limited options for vegetarians, each dish is unique and creative. You will totally be surprised with the flavours that burst as you take the first bite.. appetisers have more vegetarian options than Mains. The cocktails are wow as well, especially Margaritas ! Look for George who is extremely friendly and gives the best recos for what to order!

Celebrated my friends birthday here on a weekday night. Service crew was very attentive and friendly. They noted my friends birthday as I indicated in the reservation booking and they surprised my friend with a candle with our desserts plus some shots on house! Great service indeed. Food was great and flavoring of the food was on point. We especially loved the seafood ceviche. Had to stop ourselves from ordering two portions 😂

Food was exceptional, had Lamb taco, Cheese molotes, Chicken chipotle and Watermelon margarita. Great atmosphere albeit music is a little overwhelming. Superb service (George was one of the highlight of our dinner). Just heed George's recommendations (read: Look for George), tell him what you don't eat and he will curate a dinner for you, like a Mexican Omakase. Will definitely be back for the rest.

Came here again for lunch after a long time, pleasantly surprised that it was revamped and newly renovated. Nice vibes, would be even better in the evenings. Changes to the menu were well explained as well. Great service from George who gave good suggestions of the menu and from Lena who took time to share about Mezcal to us. Will definitely try that another day!

The staff here were friendly and helpful. Lina (unsure of the spelling) introduced us to the place and explained about the specialty drinks of Lucha Loco. Ordered the Pork Chorizo burrito, Chorizo & beef brisket taco and hibiscus & jackfruit quesadilla. For drinks, ordered watermelon & basil juice and Southside Mezcal. The food tasted great and drinks were refreshing and the Southside had a nice smokey taste. Came for my wife's birthday and told George about it. He helped to convey the message to the staff and prepared a churros. Appreciate the effort by him and the team!

Got fish taco, pork pabil and churros for 2 and it was filling. $37/pax. Great food, great service. Indoor was too cold and we managed to get an outdoor seat. Staff are wonderfully friendly. Love the vibe. Happy hour 5-7pm

I had a blast at Lucha Loco for the first time with my team. At first, they told us there were no tables available, but thanks to some smooth talking by my colleague and a stroke of luck with a no-show party, we snagged a great table for our group of six. Hats off to George, one of the waitstaff, who was an absolute delight, super friendly, and full of great recommendations. We indulged in some blueberry margaritas, chicken and beef enchiladas, lamb tacos, chips, and eggplant tempura, and let me tell you, they were scrumptious. I’m already planning my next visit because there’s so much more on their menu I want to try. We left with satisfied tummies and big smiles. 😄🌮🍹

Awesome food and drinks. We also like to thank George who took care of us. He was very friendly and attentive, offering a special cup of fresh watermelon juice after she felt left out with us adults all having lovely drinks!

Great food & ambience. George is the best. They were nice to provide candles on churros on the house for birthday gal. Not many desserts but the blue corn cake with ice cream & berries & creme fraiche we ordered was very satisfying sweet end to our meal.

Food is really good! Very happy they have a good selection of vegetarian dishes. Definitely order the elotes and the tempura flower courgette. The courgette flower was a shell that was filled with tasty liquid cheese. The lion mane taco was tasty but I thought the mushrooms were a bit on the tough side. That said, the texture was so close to meat you could be fooled.

My ang moh friend and I had an amazinggg time here! George provided good service, and his recommendations were spot-on. The fish taco is a must-try along with the pulled pork. My ang moh friend found the pulled pork a tad salty. Personally, I found the pulled pork melted in my mouth and would order it again. The corn cake recommended by George hit the spot and had a delightful texture that ended the dinner well.

Tried set meal for 2 pax. Food is delicious and comes with $$$$ price tag. We walked in and were offered bar counter seats while there were empty tables. Eventually a waitress helped to offer a table that was convenient to share foods. We were there about 1.5hrs and through out the time we saw empty table so called reserved. 3 star for the discrimination of the reception.

This was my first time visiting this place. I fell in love with the ambience! Food and service was wonderful! George was very helpful and nice! He actually advised us when we were over ordering which was great because if we ordered what he wanted, we wouldn’t have been able to finish it 😅 George ordered us 2 shots on the house for my mother’s birthday! Murali was equally nice! They both constantly checked in on us to see if everything was good. Overall great experience very friendly and helpful staff! Will definitely return! The fish taco was my favourite! Kudos to George and Murali :)

First time here & the food didn't disappoint. Loved their fish tacos & the steak, but it was very filling for 2 persons. Didn't stay long to try more drinks, so maybe I'll be back for drinks & light snacks next time.

Food is not bad, don't be fooled by the portion. It looks small but it is definitely filing. Two of us had cauliflower, tacos and Zucchini flower. We were really full halfway. We had churros anyway, too sweet to decline.. George was servicing us and he was really looking after us, and recommended us the items or else we would have ordered too much. He even got us fee margarita shots. Thanks George! We enjoyed our time there.

Our first time experience to Lucha Loco is great. George is very accommodating and he gave a good food recommendation for us to try. The food is definitely delicious. You feel the Mexican vibe in the restaurant.

Came on a sunny afternoon with my mum, and George considerately recommended a seat that would be comfortable for her. Food was served almost instantly despite being quite crowded during weekday lunchtime - and everything was perfectly done! Freshly made thin and crispy nachos (best ever!), fish, prawns, etc… really brought me back to Mexico and very happy that my mum loved it! Good food, charming ambience with wonderful, friendly service!

The staff gave great recommendations for food. Ordered Crab salad, fish tacos, and burritos. Crab salad was refreshing and light. Fish taco is the correct size and unique taste. Highly recommended. Pork chorizo Burrito was huge. Highly recommended to share between 2 so that you can try other food. Service is on point. Lina provided food recommendations and George is attentive and chatty with positive attitude.

Booking was a breeze. We had a 5.45pm slot for 2 hours. We requested for outdoor seat as the weather was cooling. Although the decorations were simple, the ambience was great. I especially like the Lucha Libre posters on the wall. Shawn was attending to our requests most of the time. I probably called him more than 10x yet he was very friendly and professional. Thanks Shawn! Food was great. I really love the mixta salad, quesadillas (beef) and tacos! They tasted excellent. Portion wise, I think it was great for 2 pax. Price wise, it was around $50/pax including our frozen lime magherita. For the variety and taste, I think it is pretty good value for money. Definitely recommend the Lucha Loco and will be back again!

came here with my husband last night after we saw it reopen from revamping. the place/atmosphere looks wonderful. the main reason why i kept coming to lucha loco was for the prawn taco. however, the prawn taco tasted alittle different and grainy compared to before. it was disappointing but the other food we ordered made up for it! service was great too and they served us some complimentary churros and mezcal shots for us to try. well that mezcal shot was delicious and its great that they changed the drinks menu up with it.

Dined in with friends on a Thursday night and pleasantly enjoyed our meal. The steak was really well done, quesadillas was cheesy but corn felt less flavourful than before. Overall, the steak really won us over, should try if you’re here to dine.

Managed to walk in at 6PM on a Thursday night without a reservation, but I’d recommend booking to avoid disappointments! We tried the crab tostados (our favourite), fish tacos, chips with dips and beef quesadillas. All were amazing and they offered to give us 3 each even though they were served in pairs! Thank you for the great service. Do come before 7pm to enjoy their happy hour!

Great mexican place serving up some of the best tacos and tosados in Singapore. Their cocktails are mostly mezcal based which was a delight for me. The steak was really amazing too. The ceviche is a great starter so do try that as well.

The restaurant has lovely outdoor seating, making it a great place to catch up with friends. I came here with a friend and got the baja fish taco for myself, and a beef quesadilla to share. The happy hour drinks are well-priced ($11), but I unfortunately don’t like margaritas, so I opted for a coconut mojito ($19) instead. Food was yummy and quite filling. Nothing extremely notable, but would maybe come here again for the convenience and the atmosphere.

Comfortable Mexican restaurant with various delicious meals to share or enjoy on your own. They offer various snacks and full-sized meals, some cocktails and round it of with a nice collection of Mezcal and Tequila. Seating outside is especially lovely as it is placed between the house and some greenery, away from the streets and usual noisiness of Singapore. An instant favorite!

Visited here on a Wednesday evening(5pm) without booking, manage to get seating for 4 immediately! Staff were friendly and nice! Food was on the pricey end but most of the stuff we ordered were pretty delicious. Will definitely be back to try out other dishes! Ordered for 4 ladies and it’s enough for all of us! Overall a nice place to try out mexican food.

The food was pretty good! Not sure if its worth the price, i have tasted the same for a better value. The place itself seemed understaffed as we had to keep asking the staff for utensils etc, but we also understand that it was a crowded night as we went for weekend dinner. Overall, still had a nice meal here!

Highly recommend this place any occasion! Chanced upon Lucha Loco with my boyfriend and got ourselves one of the best dinner experience. Shoutout to George for his personalise service experience and food recommendations! Not only it is tasty but left us a memorable experience!

First time trying a new cuisine and have to say that i was definitely not disappointed, portion was generous alongside lovely staff, with George in particular, what a wonderful host with his excellent service and recommendations, made it such a warm experience. Another great Mexican from Super Loco (who seem to start some associated restaurants with slightly different names). The food is great, the drinks are fun, and the staff are genuinely friendly and fun. It's not particularly cheap, but you're paying for the location, the atmosphere, and the quality ingredients (the potions are decent too). On the day we booked they had a leaky roof issue after heavy rain and they called us to offer a table outside or another day for the booking. We sat outside and it worked out perfectly. Great meal and fun location.

Beautiful outdoor dining and tasty mexican foods, but can be quite expensive. Been here with friends in April 2022, what a great place to dine with family, friends, and to bring your date. As of this writing, they’re closed on Sundays. Making a reservation on their website is recommended, you can also choose to dine indoor or outdoor.

Went on a weekday night and the outdoor area was quite crowded. Ordered one of their margarita & sangria for a dessert after our dinner. Tbh the place is OK but the service was so unfriendly. Felt like they were really bothered by us not ordering any food. To even get the bill was a struggle and IMO it wasnt THAT full for them to be that bothered. Wouldnt come again bc we definitely did not feel welcome.

Was there for a friend's hens night. The location is walkable from Maxwell MRT. We got seated outdoors with the awning overhead. We got chips and salsa for appetizers, as well as baja fish and chorizo tacos, quesadillas and some chicken mains. Shared a frozen jug of pineapple drink. Overall the food was good, though it was a little bit dark when seated outside. The staff also surprised us with complimentary celebratory passion fruit shots. When our bride-to-be was given a forfeit to ask a waitress for sunglasses, the staff was very sporting by searching for sunglasses, wearing it and passing it to the bride-to-be. Will recommend!

Atmosphere is chill and unpretentious, not to mention the staff here are really friendly especially George. Food is pretty good as always and the prices are reasonable.
