Located within 2 mins walk from Toa Payoh mrt station is an alley of shop houses in between Blk 178 and 183. Here, you can find so many things. However, it is best to visit in the evening when our local weather is cooler.

The mall is in the busy Toa Payoh Central bus terminus and on top of Toa Payoh MRT station. Good volume of passenger traffic. The stores here are mainly eateries like Toast Box, food court, Breadtalk, retail outlets like Giordano and make shift stores selling household items like bedsheets and local food products

Toa Payoh is the first indoor air conditioned bus interchange built in Singapore at 2000. There are many shops around here. This is a very convenient neighbourhood mall where you can reach here in bus or MRT. There is a mega Popular book stall above the interchange. HBD developing board is also around the corner.

It's definitely a hub - get all the essentials in one spot - groceries, personal hygiene products..... I like it for the Large Popular book store that isn't too crowded. Koufu food court right round the corner has decent roast meat too.

The sales consultant are very helpful knowledgeable, and very patient. They let you digest the information and do not hard sell like some sales consultants from other locations. The place is quite huge and well stock. As it is situated in Toa Payoh, the location is great for people who does not drive. I was surprised that there is a basement.

    很多人分享的照片都不是在这里拍摄的,其实这里只是商业街道…街上有很多咖啡店还有各种各样的商店,中午至下午非常热闹,靠近地铁站和巴士转换站,非常方便来这里逛

The place that always flood by peoples. TPY is matured estate, many old folks hang around here. This place is like many stalls & foods , but when reached here I will feel like the things not “central” enough, direction quite messy, just my personal feeling. Happy 2022, Huat a ~

Good shopping that has a long history. The collection of shops is not bad and there are a wide variety of restaurants.

Old school shopping mall, with lots of open spaces and food outlets. There are also many bakery shops, selling nice bakes, priced relatively reasonably compared to those in many other heartland malls. Parking is also easily available at the HDB Hub. Also very easy access via MRT.

Good if you like outdoors. No Aircon unless you are in the interchange and housing board building. Toilets are so-so. Lots of food and many clothes are cheap and good. Very convenient to go to since it's close to bus interchange and MRT station.

I love this place! Coz this is where I'll accompany my clients to have their resale completions. Memories made, relationships fostered just by being their real estate agent.

Quiet Sunday at Toa Payoh shopping area. Went there for Swatow Tim sum. It’s more Cantonese than teochew.decir is nice with Chinese lanterns and calligraphy n ink paintings on the wall. Didn’t like the lotus mai kai but love the pumpkin wAter crystal pau.,Siew Mai. Service was good although none speak teochew.

Filled with old people loitering around and speaking with their masks down. Old and dilapidated, there's absolutely nothing in Toa Payoh, it's boring and old. You can barely find anything to eat here, it's so difficult to find a toilet too. There's pretty much no reason to be here...

Just like any other heartland malls, there will be a supermarket, convenience store, bakery, pharmacy, basic F&B joints, etc

Theplace is actually small but complete. You can find banks, bakery shop, facial, dental clinic as well as grocery shop. It is a walking distance to West all.

Impressive space. Although I realised the open square is left for events, concerts or festival sales, it could do with some benches along the sides. Unless i was a patron at a fast food place, there was nowhere to sit for a break. Current pandemic maybe not possible. Perhaps at a later, better time.

Unlike the newer type of malls housed together in a building this mall is made up of different types of shops including coffee shops accessible to everyone. Probably built during the 70s each block contains rows of shops selling clothes, shoes, spectacles, knick knacks, fruits, mobile phones, etc. It has an old world charm.

More shops to choose from, near a church. And most convenient for it is a bus interchange and red line mrt.

Living the life of a typical Singaporean. What's next after work? That's right! Dinner time haha Does anyone feels spoilt with options when you stepped into kopitiam that you have no idea what to pick? Then, opt for Yong Tau Foo. Choose what you want to eat, nobody will say no to you haha The cook is very nice to me, she reminded me to take the vaccinated sticker to prove that I am eligible to dine in. Anyways, the portion is very generous for only $4.8, slurp slurp enjoyyy

Nice food at Hanuman! The fried fish Thai style was especially worth it at $9.90. The price is now raised to $12.90. A steep rise of 30%. The business appeared to be affected negatively.
