As a person who cooks, I SUPER recommend the AMAZING food from this hidden gem at Park Lane. So far everything I ate knocked my boots out of the park and only cost about $5.5. I wasn't expecting much at first but even after I raised my expectations they continued to impress. So far I've had the Tom Yum fried rice, Salted Egg chicken rice, Smoked Duck pasta and Pineapple fried rice, and they're all amongst the best I've ever had. Unbelievable. The flavour of every dish is perfectly tuned and incredibly satisfying. Anyone who loves cooking can surely taste the effort to master all the little details behind the flavours of their dishes. The price is insanely cheap for the calibre of food you get. Please eat here and help their business boom. There's absolutely no way you will regret it.

Isle Eating House (Level 2) argues for the establishment of a basic Singaporean right. All citizens should be able to order generous, absurdly cheap, protein-rich, great quality Cai Fan in the middle of town. Black Pepper Chicken, Tomato Scrambled Egg and Cereal Chicken comprise the “must-get” club (Though they run out by dinner time). Other than these, most dishes are more average. Pricing: 2 meat, 1 egg, 1 veg, less rice ($0.3) = $5 2 meat, less rice = $3.30

Rating: 4.7 / 5 stars 🤩 : relatively clean, affordable food in town, options aplenty 🤧 : - This place is heaven, as far as a worker’s lunch spot goes. Plenty of options, fast and organised service, great value. I chanced upon this spot as I was on course in the area. And boy, never have I wanted a professional course to drag on for another day or two just so that I can try a couple more items. I had the wanton mee - the char siew was thankfully not made of cardboard. There was a reasonable amount of resemblance to the real deal. The wantons were well wrapped, well marinated. Its flavour had blended well with the sauce mix of the egg noodles. Noodles were cooked well - nice Q, and I found the sulphur taste to be negligible. Take this with a slight pinch of salt as this rating is based on one dish after all.

Some may be put off by the atmosphere but great value always hides in unexpected places! The food is not exceptional but what is really exceptional is the value for money. At only $4, you can get a big packet with 3 dishes. Eggs were silky and buttery, chicken is normal but well seasoned and veg is soft and digestible. At only $4 it’s a real bargain especially if you are a student. Don’t seem to have much seats. Expect to takeaway.

Been patronising this makan place for close to 15years. Basically everything on the menu is good. Cai png is delicious and very value for money as well. 2 meat 1 veg cost $3.9 and its portion is huge for a big eater! Tried their kaya toast today and it didn't disappoint too! Crispy toast with good amount of kaya & butter. 2slice@$2😋 See you again soon.

Cheap and delicious. A working man’s eating place. Cai fan queue can be intimidating but it moves very fast. The BBQ is of decent quality especially at the price it’s being sold at. My favourite would be their Hor Fen. A whole mess of hor fen with shrimp, fish slices and fish cake all drenched in delicious noodle gravy. Then topped with a soft boil egg to make it a five star meal 🔥

Situated in the Peace center, you will travel back in time to the 90s mall. The cafe is located right in the middle of the ground floor. They have quite a number of menus, but I noticed many people order spaghetti so i got aglio spaghetti with bbq pork and salad for $6.80. Generous portions, delicious and friendly staff. Their pickled chili is a unique combination of chili, tomato, onion. I also recommend calamansi drinks. Very refreshing We ordered 3 times :)

Recommended this place by my brother, so we got all the way but coming from overseas, we didn't have cash. Got to the food but couldn't pay, the guy manning the till was like, 'I trust you, go ahead and fill your stomach then when you have cash pay us later.' Food was sooooooo good and so affordable, that when I got cash, I went for round two. My wife agreed that it was the best food we've had in Singapore. We will be back the next time we're in the country! Amazing service from the man by the till. Only issue we had was when being served, we couldn't communicate well in English with the lady behind the counter but food was served, it was delicious and so affordable.

The smoked duck aglio olio was only $6 with sous vide egg with thai milk tea at $2 - now that’s a superb value for this location. The pasta is cooked al dente as well and i’m pleasantly surprised. Unfortunately i didn’t realise this was going to be quite spicy for me so i’d ask to not add chilli flakes next time.

Very hard to find economical rice for less than $4 these days. Paid $3.90 for 2M1V + rice ... portion is fantastic. Had their noodle dishes once before & its pretty decent too! All in all - a great place for quick, fuss-free & wallet friendly lunch

Cheapest economy rice in town with generous portions of meat and vegetables. I wanted to try the Saba fish but it was always sold out.

There are 2 Isle Cafes in Paklane Shopping Centre (Selegie Road), one on the ground floor n one on the 2nd floor. Ground floor one is better to me because the chairs have backs. Their western sets are good. Love the grilled chicken. Moist. You get a choice of sides -- cold slaw, fried egg, fries. With a serving of rice. Fried rice dishes are also flavourful. They have economy rice in the day.Theres a selection of dishes. Give the sambal hard-boiled egg a miss. Sambal is not what we are used to from the Malay stalls. Taste is far too mild and has no character. Tea n coffee okay but 70% better upstairs. Order goreng beehoon at this 2nd floor outlet. Not the goreng mee because it's way too salty. Fried kway teow, fried rice n chicken rice and Western sets are very decent. There's one delicious thing to order -- chai tow kueh. Black or white. $2.50 for a svelte girl portion. Perfect for when u have not much money or are pretending to be on a diet. They have economy rice here too. Fried chicken feet, the type you find in tim sum restaurants, is often available, and what I love. There's a fatty charsiew too. It's the correct cut of meat for charsiew. Fatty. So great if you like fat. Oh, they also sell plain fried economy beehoon to go with economy rice dishes. Another item worth mentioning is dessert. If u r lucky, on certain days, they have bubor chacha. Go for it. Their green bean dessert is also good. Sago is a nice touch. There is a tray of snacks featuring butter cake and curry puff. Be warned. The butter cake is probably made by a dentist's wife who would like to see you get tooth decay. And it's not butter, it's at least 90% margarine. At $1.30 a piece, you can't expect the real deal. Chairs here are plastic stools. You are meant to eat and get out. And don't open your wet umbrellas here or a black thunder face will swoop down on you. Fair, I suppose. You wouldnt want someone to wet your house floor. Oh, and strictly no durian. Guess who will come over. Smile. Enjoy the overall delectable grub at fair prices. Have a good day!

I had the Tom yum fried rice and a tea. It’s very nice. Bit dry. But taste is good. Value for money. Nice place.

Food is so so and price is reasonable. But the attitude of the servers are terrible. It used to be much better and I've been eating there since I was a teen, some 30 years ago. Never once I experience such rude servers, until now. I will never go back.

Great food at reasonable prices at this Isle location. Definitely worth repeat visits. The vegetables and pork belly that I had for lunch today were really delicious.

Took a simple lunch before heading to airport. The fried rice tasted not bad, just the pork chop was a bit dry. It only costs S$6

This is a review on the food served on the lower floor. We had their pasta: smoked duck aglio olio and tomato pasta with grilled chicken. Both are really affordable and delicious, quality is definitely not compromised. The smoked duck is okay, aglio olio is garlicky, spicy and al dente. The tomato pasta is okay, the grilled chicken is well charred and nicely seasoned. A hidden gem indeed.
