One of my favorite department store. The staffs were usually helpful but when I visited recently, they weren't helpful when I asked on something about the product and wasn't eager to explain. The department store covers half of ngee ann building from B2 to 4th Floor. B2 is mostly good, B1 home and kitchen stuffs, first and second story, branded stores and Ladies stuffs, third would be men and travel, and fourth is kids and sport stuffs.

Located at Ngee Ann City at Orchard area, this is a large shopping mall with 6 levels of shopping and dining. It is good to see that the atrium sales is finally opened after the easing of covid restrictions. They sell so many unique items here and branded goods as well. Overall, it's a great place to visit.

Fabulous shopping center with lots of Japanese food and stuffs to buy. It's quite big and spacious and for those who are tourists can get lost inside if they are not familiar with the building. Fantastic food court at B2 with variety of food sections and bakery stuffs.

This used to be the ultimate shopping centre before ION was established. To date, it is still the leading shopping centre in Singapore. Not to be missed are the Japanese food fairs, mooncake festivals, and the festive sales held at B2.

A huge store with many levels. You can find unique made-in Japan items which are hard to find in Singapore. This store also has food and eateries, with many different items such as cooking appliances, babies needs, exotic stationery, clothes and shoes. A place where you can get literally almost everything. Price is on the higher side since it is located in the Orchard Area.

Beautiful makeover of their basement food court and supermarket areas ! Have not been here in a few years and was pleasantly surprised. Bad for the waistline as there are too many food stalls to indulge and choose from.

The supermarket in the basement in a paradise, with hundreds of Japanese local food / snack brands. You find yourself no different in Japan.

Was present for the mooncake fair in 2022 after there was no mooncake fair during covid-19 period. Have also been to Takashimaya as a favourite mall when I was much younger more than 10 years ago during school holidays where I really looked forward to visit. Hope the mall continues to have a good mix of tenants and prices continue to remain competitive 👌👍

Huuuuge classic department store when you can find almost anything from luxury goods and clothes to kitchenware to restaurants. There’s also a food hall Food Village, and Cold Storage located at B2. Great place to shop for Japanese food and products too.

Pretty solid mall in the belt of orchard since 20-30 years ago. I still enjoy their food-hall at B2, they also have a Cold Storage groceries store there. Basically, you can get all your luxury wants fulfilled shopping here with brands such as Hermes, LV, Chanel etc. It’s also a stone throw away from ION Orchard shopping mall for newer alternatives.

Mooncakes on sale at Ngee Ann City Square in front of the waterfall. I am thrilled that Gin Thye Cake Maker had their durian mooncakes encased in an interesting, plastic novelty durian husk packaging. This year Mid Autumn Festival = 中秋节 (Mooncake Festival) falls on 29th September 2023 and it is not a holiday in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and many Asean countries with local Chinese but it is a holiday in China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.

One of the best shopping centres in Singapore, strong aircon and free wifi ensures the best shopping experience for shoppers, ranging from luxurious brands to daily groceries, you are sure to find anything you're looking for here. Plenty of food choices here as well from restaurants to affordable meals.

The best book store I have been to in over a decade is here, the food level is loaded with amazing selection and the staff are very friendly. I would recommend the bakery, it is a Japanese perfection of a French bakery. The matcha muffins are awesome but they sell out! One thing is that here, like most every retailer in Singapore, the PS5 game selection is sparse. Fair enough since most everything in Singapore is online.

The Food Village has many Japanese snack shops. Many sweet and savoury treats. Good for tourists to come buy a meal or some treats back. Occasionally, there will be some Japanese or Taiwanese food roadshow.

Good to see the crowd this December as compared to the past few years. Many year-end bargain advertisements are evident and can see people with shoppers. Enjoyed the walk through the place and feel the shopping spirits in the atmosphere. Big space to find many useful items.

Takashimaya Square used to host different type of fairs prior to Covid-19 has just reopened recently with the further easing of Covid-19 measures. Good to see the crowd is back to shop for bargain premium items at Takashimaya Square.

Visited the shopping mall. Due to the festive season, the shopping centre is more crowded. There are always interesting events at the event hall especially during festivities. There are many pastry vendors this year and the decorations are nice too (the year of the dragon). Besides the event hall, the basement has many food options too. This shopping centre has a wide variety of shops ranging from food to luxury goods.

Really great mall with lots of shops, food, etc. There are two towers so be sure to check out everything! Plenty of good places to eat on the lower levels if you need to grab a bite. The place can get a bit packed on the weekends so if you're wanting a quieter experience maybe pick a weekday.

Within a week, I went to Takashimaya twice. Got a pair of ASICS running shoes and a pair of Ecco golf shoes. Their sports department is on the 4th floor. Their cashiers are friendly and helpful too. By chance, I saw someone playing the piano and took a short video. Well played!

We were at the luggage dept selecting an umbrella on the 11 Apr 22. A sales staff named Wei Wei attended to us. She was extremely polite, had a great attitude and on top of it, she had a good detailed knowledge of the products there. What a refreshing change !! She certainly made our shopping experience truly enjoyable.! Its so rare these days to find someone who take the effort to know the products they are promoting. This is one sales person who truly deserve the credit.

I always love shopping at Takashimaya, the salespeople are very helpful every time I go there Even when I'm just there to check something& haven't decided whether or not to buy, they answer questions & give recommendations I've also bought luggage before& when I came back to buy another one, the sales person remembered me

Lots of happy memories coming to this mall because I'll just be wandering around the food hall or reading books for free at kinokuniya while the adults went shopping (sorry kinokuniya). Back then we also dined at the coca steamboat restaurant. Recently I found that the best view of takashimaya SC is actually from the building across the road (meritus mandarin and soon to be Hilton hotel). I never realized there was a small forested area just behind the compound! So here I present my photos which I feel capture takashimaya SC in all its glory. The mall is quite spacious to explore. Many tenants from well-known brands open shops in this mall. Quite a complete collection that is here. The mall atmosphere is also comfortable with fresh air conditioning. A suitable place to shop, hang out or just walking around.

The food floor in the basement is fun. There are many Japanese western and Japanese sweets, bakeries, and restaurants. The tea leaves from Japanese tea shops are also of high quality. Similar to Japanese department stores, the quality is also good.

With relaxation of social distancing the central area where they used to host home fair or mooncake festival is back for bargain hunters. Good place to hunt for Japanese food and stuff. Many branded boutique are here and the Takashimaya stuff has plenty to offer for all ages. Basement offers more restaurant and eateries, my favorite is the Heavenly Wang for coffee and their toast.

Occasionally, the atrium in front of Takashimaya Shopping centre would present or hold events such as this Food Fiesta 2023. Food stalls from different countries will display food items (e.g. pastries, cakes, brownies, noodles, drinks) for sale or sampling. It can get crowded over the weekends and suggest to pay it a visit over weekdays. Many to see and try!

Come across this waffle at Taka food hall! $7.50 for strawberry cream flavour but tasted damn good with very quality ingredients! Hokkaido cream tasted very fresh! Waffle also tasted fluffy, just love the taste of the batter! It felt not as sweet as I thought it will be.

Big department store that sells pretty much everything. They have a huge selection of kitchen tools, electronics, beds, pillows, children's toys, clothes, bags, suitcases and sports equipment like golf stuff. Overall good one stop shop for any household items. Many helpful sales assistants around that can answer your questions. Bright and clean ambience, with most products out for you to try and feel before buying. They also sell gift vouchers if needed. Lots of different coffee appliances in particular.

Very nice shopping centre for rich people. Come during Christmas. Got nice free decorations for you to indulge in, take some photos, so you don’t have to spend a dime. Jokes aside though, they have lots of good food at their basement, so definitely worth checking out.

Takashimaya food hall Nothing as nostalgic as these “ fish” pancakes. A little sweet due to the over generous amounts of red bean fillings but still a temptation always . Go for the matcha red bean fish pancake. Then head to the curry puff stall for that flaky and light curry puff. Best eaten hot !

Went there Friday dinner with friends. Businesss so good at dinner time we have to just change to Akimitsu which is less crowded. Not too bad for my mixed tempura with big crab stick. But would say just ok for me only- 3/5 rating
