We drove all the way here and spent a lovely evening by the water. The place was relatively empty - though there were some people who were enjoying the view and having a picnic. The car park is located right next to the beach, which was quite convenient. We parked and walked about and enjoyed the scenery and the sunset. A memorable evening indeed. The sky became dark grey and we left before it started pouring.

Standard beach experience in a Singapore with the below exceptions A. You can see planes take off every few minutes. So if you are into that you can come. B. Has a good halal seafood/ food options nearby. C. Found a lot of dead fishes on the beach. D. More birds than usual. Might be a good place to end the day if you are already in the area, otherwise find the beach nearest to your place.

A good site for picnics, windy and scenic. A long stretch of breakwaters to relax on, while watching the waves hit against the rocks. A good place for aeroplanes spotting, as you can see them coming from afar, approaching slowly over the sea towards inland and fly right above your heads. Fantastic view of planes for aviation enthusiasts.

Took my paddle board out to the beach on a weekday during high tide. Was happy that it was not crowded. The beach was quite nice although it could be cleaner. Had a nice time. Managed to wash up in the public shower place before my lunch at a Alfresco restaurant (Sea Grill) by the beach.

Lovely place to visit and bike. There are BBQ pits near by. Good place to sit and enjoy fresh air. The children's playground is small. You can swim if you want. You can see airplanes landing every 5 minutes. Washrooms are not clean enough 😕

Low tides are one of the best at changi beach. When you are visiting do watch out your steps while walking on the beach bed. Also do not pick any marine life.

The beach is best suited for people who are tired of East Coast and Sentosa. The beach is near to good food and the newly opened PCN Changi Bay Point. Popular for both picnic goers and bikers

Changi Beach Park is an absolute gem that offers a superb blend of natural beauty and recreational opportunities. Nestled along the eastern coast of Singapore, this park is a haven for both locals and tourists alike. One of the park's standout features is its pristine sandy shoreline, which stretches for miles, inviting visitors to take leisurely strolls or simply soak up the sun. The tranquil waters of the South China Sea are perfect for swimming and water sports, making it an ideal spot for beach enthusiasts. Nature lovers will appreciate the lush greenery that lines the park, creating a serene atmosphere for picnics and family gatherings. The casuarina trees provide ample shade, making it a delightful spot for relaxation even on the sunniest of days. Cycling enthusiasts can explore the park's well-maintained cycling paths, which offer stunning views of the coastline and a refreshing breeze off the sea. Plus, there are plenty of rental options available for those who don't have their own bikes. History buffs will find interest in the World War II memorial plaque, which commemorates Changi Beach's significance during that period. Changi Beach Park is not just a daytime destination; it comes alive at night as well, with barbecue pits and camping facilities available for those who wish to have a delightful outdoor evening. In summary, Changi Beach Park is a superb retreat that seamlessly combines natural beauty, recreational activities, and historical significance. Whether you're seeking relaxation, adventure, or simply a picturesque escape, this park has it all, making it a must-visit destination in Singapore. Also you can experience that plane landing to the changi airport in every minutes...😘😘

A perfect spot in Singapore to watch the aeroplanes up close. There are also boats and ferries to see and, if you are lucky, you will witness otters playing in the water and murders of crows in the trees and on the sand. There are also play parks for the little ones, food outlets for the hungry ones and beach or lawn to lie and picnic on. If you want to make a cooked meal, barbeque pits are also available! Hurry away from the hustle and bustle of city-life and allow your lungs to revel in the fresh air, while your heart enjoys the open spaces here!

Amazing place to hang around in the evening You can see flights landing and taking off from there. A beautiful view of the calm pacific ocean also experienced from there. Good place for walking, cycling jogging etc. White sand beaches are there with low or less tide/waves

Great beach to come by daily. Only 10 minutes bus ride from Pasar Ris. Changi village hawker which is one of the best hawker centers in Singapore is right nearby. You can spend the whole day here picnicing, swimming, relaxing and dining.

Wanted to explore a new waterfront with the family today, so we decided to visit the Changi Beach Park. We didn't like it because it's quite a small park with narrower pathways, lots of trash, and lots of visitors doing things that were opposite of the guidelines on the signs. For example, right in front of the "Do not feed the birds" sign, there was a group of people feeding the birds. Nobody cared about the No Smoking signs there either. There's a sign that says you can't pitch tents there, but there are tents galore, and almost all of the sheltered areas were taken over by people who look like they set up dwelling there with stoves, pots and pans, cleaning equipment, clothes lines, etc. Hopefully, the authorities will clean up the area soon because it does seem almost like a homeless slum there.

Changi Beach park is a wonderful natural destination where people can connect with nature. It offers various activities like fishing, cycling, and running/walking. Additionally, visitors can indulge in the hobby of plane spotting, enjoying the view of planes taking off and landing from the beach. It's a versatile and relaxing place for outdoor enthusiasts.

Beautifully made park that provides a different vantage point of SG besides West Coast Park and Eaat Coast Park. Similar facilities are available at the park from GoCycling (rental bicycles), toilets and park canopy shelter during rainy days. Majority of people cycle through this place and its recommended to bring your bicycles to cycle as a group.

Nice place to enjoy the sea breeze and watch the planes. Try to find the small crabs digging around in the sand! Sadly the sandy beach isnt that clean and big. Lots of plastic! 😡 I love the rose ringed parakeets that eat off the fruit trees! They sound like squeaky chalk and as much as 10 of them would be eating the fruits and flinging the shells down onto the path below!

Worth travelling 1 hr 30 mins all the way from Kallang although I missed the sunrise view. Great place for plane spotting and sunset watching. Take bus number 9. It drops you directly infront of the spot if you alight at Nicoll Dr - Changi Beach CP 2 or Opp Nicoll Dr - Changi Beach CP 5. About 40 minutes walk from that spot will bring you to Changi Bay Point, another pretty beach area.

Located directly north of Changi airport, this coastal park also looks towards Malaysia. Not as well know as the famous East Coast park, with it also having paths for walking and cycling, with some playgrounds as well. We visited in December 2020 mid week, with the park quiet making for a relaxing time.

Went for a walk after dinner at The Coastal Settlement. Nice park. When we were there on a Saturday evening it was chock full of families having BBQs, picnics and fishing. Cyclists also use the area but we'll defined pedestrian and cycling path keeps everyone safe. Cyclist were also at a sane speed of course. Was really windy and cool. So it was a nice walk and chat. Ample places to sit down at the side. Parking is plentiful but that evening, very full as well. Car parks 1 to 5 all packed.

lived in singapore for 4 decades and have not stepped onto this beach before. although small, it's gorgeous. beautiful deep water and white sand. it could b becoz of the facing or a land ending. the shady trees and lawn like grass patches make it an idyllic beachfront park. the area is also steeped in WWII history. would b better if there were more offerings of F&B in the vicinity, but then we could easily walk to changi village nearby.

Amazing place. Well connected by cycling track. Superb place to enjoy sunset with family and friends. People can enjoy, fishing and even do dry picnic. It is best to visit in morning and evening. Be mindful of social gathering restrictions due to COVID.

Not too many people. Can see planes and ships passing by. Swim and play sandcastle at the beach. Many cycling and fishing enthusiasts. Eat or tapao first at nearby Changi Hawker Centre.

Best place for picturesque sunrise view. The take off and landing of planes also give a sense of excitement during this covid time when travel is not possible. A good park with all the basic amenities present. Do read up about the historical significance of this place as well.

A relaxing park located at the far east of Singapore. Enjoy the scenary, village lifestyle by seeing the old fishing boat ferrying passenger.. Prominent statue of the Inscription of the island. Is good place for a picnic with family and kids. Must have a car to reach changi village and walking distance to park.

A nice beach situated at the far north-easternside of S'pore. It has quite a long stretch of seaside and many carpark slot available. Further down away from the pier to Palau Ubin, there is a good location to watch the airplanes landing into Singapore Changi Airport. One can see the aircrafts at very close-up view from the underside. There are many local food available at Changi Village Hawker Centre as well. It is worth a visit!

Great beach , windy most time of the year. Less commercial and fewer eating options as compared to ECP but has the Changi Village Hawker center at walking distance and Changi Village is a treat for foodies. Great place to spend a whole day away from the hustle and bustle of the city seeing planes land and take off from the airport which is in close proximity.

Beautiful to walk along and relax away from the city. Many birds there including hornbills, white-bellied sea eagles, red-breasted parakeets and more.

Looking out across the Singapore strait towards Pulao Ubin, it's a great place to relax, enjoy the sand, maybe do a little fishing and have a bbq with the family.. Great Cycling pit-stop too before heading back to the east-coast park..

Definitely not one of the best beaches Singapore has to visit but it still has its charms. Photographers will love that this is the beach to be at to capture planes landing as they come in from the NNE direction. There are quite a number of people camping/living at the shelter areas. Ample parking spaces at the many car parks.

  • 4/5 Tan L. 1 year ago on Google
If u wanna see the planes landing at the nearby Changi Airport then tis is the place to come. Standing on the familiar concret bridge u can hv a good view of the planes at very low altitude. Changi jetty is nearby & u can take a bumboat to Pulau Ubin. There r many eateries around this place & oso a hawker centre which sells good beef horfun, ipoh horfun, nasi lemak & goreng pisang! On weekends there r many bikers cycling from all the nearby park connectors to enjoy the beautiful beach & foods.

Good place to relax from the busy city sights/life. This place has not changed much over the years. Good for weekend/holiday chillax. Changi Village hawker provides wide variety of affordable & tasty food. Plenty of provision shops which are wayyy more affordable than 7 Eleven or Cheers. Many restaurants/coffeeshops along the road too. All in all a good place for drivers, hikers, campers, cyclists, joggers, photographers to visit. Public transport may be a pain for people living in the West though.

  • 4/5 Dennis L. 10 months ago on Google
Good for a slow walk after breakfast at the nearby hawker centre. Not many people visiting this area on a Sunday morning. Listen to birds chirping, and enjoy the sea breeze.

  • 5/5 Neha M. 10 months ago on Google
Peaceful, green and windy at the time of my visit. Plenty of feathered wildlife to also admire. Saw several kingfishers, Parakeets, cuckatoos, magpies and horn bills. Saw a monitor lizard swimming near the entrance bridge too.

Visit this place in golden hours only. The place is beautiful but it does not feel great after evening. This place has no lightings around, no much food places so it feels bit shady at night.

a Public park that is free to use and has a tranquil view of the ocean near the eastern part of the city. Of course you can watch as the aircraft land one at a time to Changi Airport.

  • 5/5 Mayadurai K. 9 months ago on Google
A place to spend your weekend mornings peacefully with nature. You can find multiple stone benches and public exercise points. Can experience lovely chirping and a better place for bird watchers.
