Used to be called Hougang Festival Market. Cozy neighborhood shopping centre. It has many shops since the renovation some time ago. There are fast food options like macdonald's, KFC, umi sushi. Also has a kopitiam food court, NTUC on second level. Rocky masters, Starbucks, gong Cha, tun xiang, gochisho syokudo, heavenly Wang, stationary shop, spectacles shop, QB house, clinic, hockhua tonic, mugiya, super coconut, Korean mart, diy shop, hair salon, cow play cow moo arcade, prima deli, i-Tea, dough culture, unity, saizeriya, cheers, twelve cupcakes. Listed all that I could remember above. Subjected to changes over time. There's also a basement carpark here.

A small neighbourhood mall that is located in the Hougang estate. In this mall, you can find McDonald's, KFC, Starbucks, Saizeriya and food court at level 1. Fairprice Xtra Hypermarket is at level 2 which is also the top level of the mall. Do take note that there is no Cinema in this mall.

Hougang 1 is a small shopping centre with only a few shops. It only has B1, level 1 and 2. Fair Price Xtra, Kopitiam, Watson, Twelve Cupscakes are just a few popular brands. Unfortunately there's no full banking facility here but there are few ATMs. Hougang 1 is wheelchair friendly with travelator from B1 car park and elevators to every floor.

Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the urban jungle that is NEX lies a quaint, rustic mall that is Hougang 1. This hidden gem is a great place for a quiet cuppa as you finish your final draft of whatever that's otherwise never coming to fruition. Remember to get the waffles there as you lose yourself in quiet contemplation about life before you lose yourself in a downward spiral as you've overshot your calorie count for the xth time.

Small mall in Hougang. Came here for a meal at Kopitiam so didn't get a chance to walk around much. Quite crowded during weekday lunch time. Carpark is quite interesting, plenty of columns which means lots of individual lots

Has a grocery with a wide selection of items for sale. However, there are only a limited foreign fastfood chains here. Regardless, you may choose to eat in their fastfood which has a great selection of Singaporean dishes.

NTUC is very big full with different types of necessities. Also has two fast food restaurants near the entrance of the mall which makes it very easy to access.

Sufficient for daily needs. But some of the fruits are not fresh. I bought this golden pear and expecting it be good, turn out the fruits were not fresh at all with the rotten-like taste.

Hougang 1 is a small little mall but it has everything you need in it! Optical shop, hairdresser, nails, bakery, arcade, watsons, traditional chinese medication and tea, food court, fast food, saizeriya, starbucks, chinese noodles, japanese curry, sushi all in level one. Even drinks shops like Liho and the coconut juice. A huge supermarket NTUC and Unity pharmacy on level two. It also has UOB, OCBC, DBS atm machine and a SAM machine. One of the best mall in the neighborhood!

I wanted to visit Gochi So Shokudo at #01-23, beside KFC on 27 Dec 2023 but was disappointed to find that it has closed down. This was not updated on google map. Hence, I made a wasted trip and was charged $1.35 for carpark parking, no grace period was given.

Decent amount of shops but not much variety other than food. The ntuc there is big as they take up the whole 2nd floor. Entertainment wise there is an arcade other than that there isn't anything much.

Great place for family outing and shopping. Lots of small eateries for gatherings as well. There's also a Fairprice Extra supermarket which has varied choices of household products, good range of fresh produce, meat and seafood to choose from.

The foodcourt air cond has been down for months. The portable fans have little effect. It seems that the management doesn't care because the stall workers also seem very frustrated.

Small mall. Good eateries. No halal food at food court but there are Macs, KFC, Heavenly Wang etc...Gigantic NTUC on the second level and other shops.

Place is convenient and mall is self sufficient. Minus 1 ⭐️ coz the food court totally no air conditioning. I would rather not eat there even though there are fans. How to enjoy hot soup in such weather. Unless you like sauna

So hard to find halal food around here. It's either Mac or KFC. Useless Hawker is all Chinese. So glad my workplace shifted else I be eating either or Nasi lemak all day every day at North Star

The mall is rather old but it looks better with the yellow lighting at most parts of the mall (you can see the contrast with white lights at some corners). Nevertheless, it looks ok in overall and it has most of the essential items we need. My sons like the dentist Dr Alice Chua's dental treatment (hard to get appointment though).

Overall I like the environment, neccessities and food. But you need better staff like the security. He isn't even trying on his job to take precaution of what people need and smokes literally daily on the job, polluting the whole entrance, really unthoughtful. Otherwise I hope there could be more space in the mall, perhaps another level?

It's a very small mixed development open in 1997 with apartments on the top of a 2 levels shopping mall that anchors a FairPrice Xtra Supermart on the 2nd level n very few shops on the ground floor with KFC n Mcdonald anchoring the frontage on the left n right respectively at the junction of Hougang Avenue 9 n Hougang Street 91.

No hassle looking for a parking lot, easy access to the main floor via two separate lift lobbies, lesser human traffic if you chose to visit on a week day just like I did. Overall, we get what we needed and we're back at our home in less than an hour.

Used to be called Hougang Point. There's a big ntuc here, kopitiam, a few restaurants like Sakae Sushi and Saizeriya, bakery, wang cafe, McDonald, KFC, and small shops.

I always never leave empty handed while I visit.Though its not big but I like that it's not overly crowded and best of all,all shops display is very neat & tidy. From Korean supermarket,Ntuc,Watson, pharmacy, fast-food chains, food courts.... And I noticed there's more interesting store coming up.

  • 4/5 Errol C. 1 year ago on Google
It's your usual neighborhood mall. Incorporating a Fairprice Supermarket, rather large food court which offered a wide variety of dishes. Enjoyed the c fact that there were a number of cafes and restaurants too and other eateries. All in all, I would say it's a mid-range neighborhood mall. Bonus too for anyone who plans to do a stay cation at the nearby Hougang Residences.

Small but an interesting mall with all you need. NTUC on Level 2 is quite big. Level 1 with a few nice eateries.

  • 4/5 Nate A. 11 months ago on Google
So much has improved here. All it needs now is a small little sit-in froyo, ice cream or waffles outlet, for the younger chill crowd.

  • 5/5 Ramasamy V. 1 year ago on Google

Nearby home ☺️☺️ 3-5mins walk. Mainly I come here just for grocery shopping, mcd, heavenly Wang or just walk walk in general 😂. I like the fact that it's sheltered all the way to this place from home. Even there's rain, you don't need to worry about it. There's Mr bean, mugiya bakery, KFC, kopitiam food court, watsons and guardian, also Starbucks. I rmb there's korean specialty store 🤔 but forgot the name. Overall this place is not very big, you better come here with purpose, there's nothing much to see 👌

There maybe variety of food but....😣...the stall assistants are rather rude and grumpy old lots!!!😤😤😤....i dont suggest eating there...other than that, nothing to shop except for ntuc xtra which is quite self sufficient to get what you need, besides the mall is too small for shopping pleasure..do not recommend it.😟😲..

First time visiting here. Decent heartland mall. I got somehow lost though. This mall is small but it has McDonalds, Starbucks, KFC, a foodcourt, FairpriceXtra which is very good compared to other Heartland malls. I visited here on the 03/12/20. I love how the safenetry works as well. A digital temperature taker.

Coming here only because my partner stays nearby. Good because it’s well connected to the surrounding HDB blocks and you won’t get wet despite heavy rain. But why would you come here unless someone was here?
