Saturday morning breakfast and Marketing at this New arrangement wet market with Queuing up to scan personal iD and social distancing practices. The authority had Separate the Vegetables 🥕🍆🥦and Seafood 🐠🦑🦐Meats 🐓🐂🦆stalls. Vegetables 🥬🌶☘️stalls had moved to a bigger spacious multi carpark Ground floor hall. They had done a good job so far as it less crowded and also to reduce the risk of COVID 19 infection. The Health Authorities had been actively involving the Society changes. The rest got to depends on the citizens to stay safe ,Healthy and Huat ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh........ 🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍

The heart of Teck Whye, with thousands of visitors daily, mostly old men going to the Kopi Tiams to spit on the floor and flaunt safe distancing measures and eye young girls in school uniforms. But if you like feeling nostalgic about 90s Singapore, you've come to the right place.

Mix of both old and new variety of shops selling almost household and grocery items. Crowded. At least five food courts/kopitiam shops in this area with some very yummy food seen by long queues ...

This is an old estate with many old folks, but every morning the market becomes alive as many vendors selling item from clothes to fruits to household items. A nostalgic neighborhood.

Typical busy neighbourhood marketplace surrounded by at least 5 kopitiams, 2 super marts, a small wet market and lots of small businesses offering a wide range of services from fruit stalls to watch repair. 4fingers has an outlet there too.

Traditional small scale shops tug in a secluded area that houses Fairprice, coffeehouse, Singapore lottery, groceries, fruit stall ATMs etc. Not many varieties but mainly to cater for nearby residents. Food prices are moderately economical.

Tons of altering shop, halal food is not much. 2 rice stall with not much choices and 2 western and 2 indian shop. Chinese food is alot. Been staying here since 1985,needs more choices for halal food like chinese budget meal shops. Need more choice either go rasa rasa(expensive) need to travel abit or lot 1. Not sure why is there no budget halal foods . Or variety of noodle or soupy shops. Omg. Really need renovation and add in more shops

Good food. Average prices. The best of them is Cantolicious at Blk 145 a 5-star for food, service and price. Another best is the small bakery at Blk 144 offering good cakes like velvet, cheese, blue pea, pandan, marble, etc at a fair price.

👍👍 Stumbled upon this corner shop while cycling in Choa Chu Kang. The Mee Siam was really nice and though the centre was under renovations it was still clean and airy. Love exploring quaint corners in SG and discovering nice cosy places for makan. Do pop by if you are in the hood!

👍👍 Think this is a newly opened stall at L1 of this neighbourhood shopping centre. Good price and good food. Nothing more to ask for except maybe more seats which probably restricted by shop size. Would say a hidden gem in the west. Will be back to try other dishes.
