Good service... On 18th we order our dinner, again 21st we order dinner... Both was good... Only thing price was little hight compared to other place... Still we like it.

Chanced upon this place by searching for vegan Indian buffets on Google. There's also another review page with the same address not sure which is which but this place is pretty good! Buffet was $17.50, I think it was nett price. Went here for my birthday and the staff was great. Very polite and helpful. He explained the types of dishes they have at the buffet because we're not that familiar with the Indian names. The food was good too, very light but delicious. Healthy good food! Amazing service.

It feels like home! There’s an amazing variety available at this place especially with a homely touch that’s hard to find at restaurants. The folks are super warm and watching them cook for you while having their own fun in the back is a delightful experience as well! May ye feast mighty! πŸ––

Its a loot in name of lord Krishna. They are promoting their restaurant with hare krishna music and bhagwat gita quotes. In name of satwik food they are minting money. I had a mini thali here. The quality was average, rotis were cold and the rice was hard. Quantity was bare minimum. Yesterday I had a similar meal at another place for 5$. Here they are charging 13.5 for it.

The food is great overall, though sometimes they try to cut corners. For instance, pre-made rotis become hard and stretchy. I opted for the buffet and it was amazing, except for the roti on a particular day.

Excellent place to have satvik food made without onion and garlic. Chach katchori and halwa ( with coconut ) were out of the world. Must try Bajra and makki ki Roti. The best vegetarian food in Singapore

Excellent and homely food, so tasty! The set meal and buffet are both also very, very reasonably priced. The restaurant is clean and easy to access. My family and I were very happy with the food.

Very nice restaurant, The ambiance and the environment is very simple. The food is really like home made food whenever you're bored in Singapore with outside restaurant foods, you can surely try this home taste food. They have wonderful options such as mini thali with sweet/without sweets and also unlimited thali .

The price is pretty reasonable for the quantity and quality of the food . It’s 17.5$ for buffet plate per pax. Go there when you’re extremely hungry so you can eat as much as you like. They serve hot chapati and puri and buttermilk besides this. The desserts are surprisingly delicious too! I regret not visiting this place earlier !!

Amazing food at an underrated place! We (tourists) went as a family of 8 and were treated like revered guests! Located at Little India, it has the most deliciously prepared saattvic food (pure vegetarian, no onion, no garlic, no pungent spices), freshly prepared every meal. We loved it so much we took the metro 30mins just to eat there the second time 😊😊 Once for dinner and a second time for lunch, we went for their buffet thali option. Fresh hot pooris and chapattis kept coming our way till we ate our fill. I haven’t seen many such restaurants that put the hospitable in hospitality during my travels. Absolute must for anybody looking to have nutritious vegetarian food, travellers and residents alike.

We were not expecting to find a place in Singapore that offers food without onion & garlic, but Swaad exceeded our expectations. Food and Service both were really good. All the vegetables were very tasty and tawa rotis fresh. We liked it so much that we went there next day as well.

Amazing food and great portion, all food without garlic onion. We ordered this for 3 people and had enough to take away for another meal! Also probably the best puri I've had! - Malai Kofta - Paneer Butter Masala - Jeera Aloo

Great food paradise to enjoy holy Satvick food which helps us to remain in constant remembrance of the lord and his wonderful gifts to mankind. Swaad offers Maha Prasadh and instilling Bakthi to express our gratitude to the supreme lord. May God bless the team to serve for the society by opening more branches and uplift the needy in the mode of goodness. Hare Krishna.

Have been a regular customer here and their food is really nice and feels like home food. But their service is pathetic and stopped going after this incident. When we started buffet they denied us chapati and forced us to take rice because they got bulk online order of chapati and they were busy preparing that. If you have the peak period of lunch going on which is 12 to 2 pm why to take such bulk order and make your customers suffer who are sitting in front of you. Somehow felt that they did this intentionally. Literally ate simply curries and came out that day. Have heard from my friends too if you ask more chapati they might delay it so that you force upon rice. Hate putting this kind of review but hope they correct this attitude. 5 star on food 5 star on atmosphere 1 star on service

It's so worth the price. We were confused between going for the fixed thali or the unlimited buffet and we went for the latter, and we were not disappointed. It's a Saatvik restaurant (no onion, no garlic, no egg, no meat) , but the taste is still superb! The staff is courteous and they serve you like a family member. The breads were great - chapatis were served with ghee and pooris were fresh

Our experience was wonderful visiting Swaad for lunch. They have a decent spread of vegetarian dishes that are saatvik - no onion and garlic yet super delicious. The food tasted very fresh. The place is very recommended for a good Indian spread. The Gujarati kadhi, the chaas among other were very delicious. At 17.5 SGD per pax buffet this is a good deal.

Their Thali is good some days more than others. The food is cheap, $10 Thali gives 3 veggies, and other stuff that you see in photographs. I would have given 4 stars but my recent experience of ordering non-thali food was pretty average. What we ordered - bhel puri, dabeli, butter paneer masala, chapati, chhanchh (butter milk). All stuff without onion, garlic. May be that was the reason why they couldn't make better taste, hence I haven't deducted more stars. I must tell to north Indians and central Indians, don't order bhel puri - it was very poor.

Good food but very disorganized management and rude owner. Kept us waiting for 30 mins with a baby and forgot to place the order in their kitchen. I had to remind him about it and then gave a very standard sorry and then asked me to not get upset and leave the restaurant.

I just ordered veg special thali and samosa chat from this place via food panda, and I have to tell you that this is so far one of the best food I have ever had. Pure vegetarian, value for money. I really really loved the food and the portion that you gave. Thank you so much!!!!!

An excellent place if you like Gujarati Jain food... simple place that offers authentic Gujju food which is non- garlic and non-onion diet. Definitely worth at least a visit!

  • 1/5 Mandar C. 6 months ago on Google
Their service is utterly pathetic. When you opt for a buffet, the servers at the restaurant deliberately delay the process of serving you Chapathi/Puri and in the process, you're forced to eat other stuff like rice. Happened quite a lot of times with me. I tried to speak with their management and it hardly worked. I have stopped going to this restaurant after that. That said, the food is quite homely and delicious. Sigh, it all boils down to service Vs food.

Have been ordering/eating in/at Swaad since a decade. Their food tastes as close as it can get to what we get back home in India. Best place in Singapore for Gujarati & Rajasthani thali/dishes. Very humble folks and great at customer service. Highly recommended!

Not worth. Rice wasn’t cooked well in unlimited buffet. The cost is 17.50 for unlimited buffet however items are not much. Staffs don’t pay attention what customers asks for! Items we’re missing for limited thali(Mini),items given are quick less portion worth13.50.

Great lunch there today! We walked in hot and hungry and the uncle who runs the place was so friendly. Food was great, service was amazing. Fried puri and brinjal were my favourites. Thanks for a good lunch!

I’ve been liking swaps last 5 years. Food usually good. But these days they are not providing what you order when you go to their place instead say what they have leftover( eg force you to buy buffet). But if you order from food panda or some other delivery they accept and deliver those items. No more what customer wants, only what they want to clear up.

One of the best foods I have tasted in Singapore. Not too spicy, not too heavy, the food is just perfect and leaves you wanting more. Gives you a homely feeling. Service can take some time if it gets too crowded.

The renovated restaurant looks bright and clean. Primarily srrves Gujarati/Rajasthani food. St this time they do not use onion garlic, under the current management. Bit on the expensive side, though.

Very rude, bad, cheap restaurant. Due to some miscommunication staff was extremely rude. Said mean, cheap, arrogant words. Thought I did all act to get free food. Everybody here earns with dignity. Such low mind set of staff. Have respect for your customers. Shame on you.. Will never ever order food again from this place.. Total boycott from my side and will surely tell this tale to my friends and family. WISH I could give you a black star. A BIG SHAME ON YOU

Amazing Amazing experience. We didn't expect to get Proper satvik food in a foreign country. Top of that the service was so good, they don't just serve good food but they serve it with compassion. You'd feel like sharing a meal at a friends house. I know where I'm having my food from most time whenever I visit Singapore.
