Came on a weekday night for dinner and it's been a while since I had greendot. The price increase is quite significant in relation to portion size. Area is rather small and cramp and by 7pm there is already a line waiting for seats. Quite amazed by the staffs on the ground. With an average age group of 50, they are super alert and attentive. The loyalty program greendot is doing to allow online orders is actually really confusing, especially with multiple payment vendors available. I'm surprised how the crew are so on the ball. 👍 I ordered the Angelica Herbal Noodles and I really love the la mian texture and the variety of ingredients in this soup dish. It is a very healing and heartwarming meal that warms me from the inside. I rate: 4/5 🌟 Gyoza 3 piece was rather small and fillings were little. Pretty tasty, but would not order again. I rate: 2/5 🌟 I did not appreciate that sauces are chargeable now like Tar Tar Sauce and Sambal chilli. I'm presuming that the ingredients used are vegetarian and process is hard to make. Hence chargeable. Quite sad.

I wanna say something, change the counter staff lady. She ruins the purchasing experience, the food, the company name. She serves everyone with a frustrated demeanour and responds as if you owe her yr life or money. The portion she gives are never full and leaves u being short changed. A la carte, per tub/serving of dish/vege is abt $5.20~40. So, it’s really not cheap but why the attitude from this person is cheap and demeaning. Guess they QC the food but not the staff. They will lose support gradually if they continue employing such people. Do something management!

First time here. Ordering process was not straightforward. I could not order the light bento set through online and was directed to cashier. The staff then directed me to select my dishes so I was confused. All I wanted was the light sweet and sour soya bento set which was one main and one veg. I chose one more lotus root dish so it was $11.90. Nevertheless, the food was good. Broccoli was not oily and al dente. Turmeric rice was delicious and soup was flavourful and lightly seasoned. Would return but will insist they give me the light bento set as shown in menu. Payment and order via QR code. My friend ordered the wrap which didn't look as good as the bento set.

Food is ok, got quite some different choices. The ordering is a bit confusing as the set bento shall be ordered in another queue rather than over the cashier queue. Also no credit card accepted. One of the waitress aunties is super friendly. Will come again as there is not much vegetarian choices in Junction 8.

I patronised quite a few outlet and realised Bishan outlet gave the least portion. Apart from the price they we pay, I expect the portion can justify the overall experience and price paid.

Food is good here. Service could be much better however especially since the aunties around like to talk loudly - the staff I mean. But overall still doable. Green dot food and drinks are always beyond expectations nonetheless. Prices are definitely on the pricier side however and burger portions are quite small - prices are similar to western food :)

Better quality/quantity control and training required here❗️❗️❗️ Curry potato tasted cold, not even lukewarm. Agree with the other recent review that this outlet serves much lesser portion. Sorely disappointed by the lion mane mushroom especially, as I was looking forward to have that. Only a few small pieces were given. When I asked the girl why the portion here is so small, she just gave me a blank look. @Greendot - is this really your normal serving? Disappointing experience today!!

Paid in full for take away. But Always half-filled. Nvr full or filled to the brim not even once ok. Asked the staff then they scoop 1 piece more?!? What does it even help? Def upset & will look for other take always options if available at j8.

Enjoyed the bento where you have the options to choose different dishes, which are delicious and its reasonably priced. Recommended dishes are Spicy Sweet and Sour Egg plant and Curry Vegetables. I have tried the Laska Noodle, and it's really good. The serving process for bento could be improved to reduce the turnaround. Overall, it's worthwhile to visit.

Small outlet with many aunty wait staff who r friendly n caring! As d capacity is limited, dining is limited to 30 min during lunchtime so as to free up d seats to many diners. No one makes monkey head mushroom as good as Greendot. Love their sesame rice too! Bento set may b costly @$9.90 but it's a good portion with tasty dishes. No need to worry being overcharged either. Crispy wanton is a killer eventhough it's a little too oily this time. Greendot has adopted online ordering but hard copy menu is still available. Love it!

Ordered the Fresh Sea Treasure Poached Rice $11.90, tastes good, and it comes with vegetarian fish slices, tomato, cabbage, vegetable and fried toufu. Fresh Taro Parfait $6.90. Hot Yuzu water. Service wise is good.

Shouting out first that I'm a 100% Meat, seafood person, hates vegan and veggies. Recently started my once a week vegan meals and my 1st time trying Greendot. 1stly, i'm surprised why such low ratings for this place. Read some comments abt the poor service but i got very good service from this old lady & the guy at the counter. Perhaps my lucky day. I had my best, sumptuous and happy meal on my Vegan day thus far. I seriously have no idea what is konnyaku fishball but damn, its tastes dam good and nice to a very picky eater like me. Overall the laksa rocks and i likes it alot. To the point whereby i know i will be back often for my weekly Vegan meals and i had also signed up for the membership. Will be back to try their other stuff. Never enjoyed my Thurs Vegan day before but today, i'm happy i had this laksa. Loved it.

8th Dec 2022: One of my favorite eateries that caters to taste buds for sumptuous, creative Taiwanese vegetarian foods! I finally found a dine-in location for GreenDot after my favorite outlet at bedok mall had shifted out due to the demolishing of the shopping mall. Not all their branches have a dine-in facility so I was eager to try out the food at this branch after we did errands at Bishan. Prior to the pandemic, I used to recall that the soup came with a generous serving of a short piece of corn cob & substantially large piece/s of carrots at the bedok Mall's Green dot. However, I was pretty much in for quite a disappointment when the bento set came with just soup with pathetic looking ingredients and the pricing seems to have gone up by quite alot after the pandemic. I am still giving a 4 stars due to the fact that the food tasted more than decent & I truly enjoyed & relish every morsel of it. The staff who attended to me at the food counter was also very attentive & helpful while I was selecting dishes for my bento set. As the food was appetising with good service, I have decided to place another special treat for myself yesterday. It is a pity that the buckwheat sencha tea wasnt available in a tea pot size - I used to order my drink in a tea pot style at their bedok mall outlet to go with my food. The cashier recommended me the yam paste dessert which was delicious and highly recommended to those who has a very sweet tooth! I would drop by again to patronise from this Bishan branch again although I wish that there was a larger dine-in space. Hope that they can keep up with their food quality given their steep pricing. 7th Dec 2022: I didn't like the food quality for the Greendot bento set which I placed as a take-away order on 7th Dec 2022. The dishes wasn't as fresh & also not as palatable as it usually was. Came across as stale & probably reheated more than once to be sold for maybe a couple of days already. It was below par. But thank goodness they have picked up drastically on their food quality on the 8th Dec 2022 & this was attested by a full house patronage throughout the day even when it was already past lunch hours!

Ordered the Signature Lion Mane Mushroom Rendang with Tumeric Basmati Rice ($10.90). This was really good! I was pleasantly surprised by how flavourful the mushroom rendang was. I also loved the appalam, vegetables and soup - the taste was just right. Plus, the rice wasn't plain - when they meant tumeric basmati rice, they really put in the tumeric. Would definitely come back for this dish! Do take note that there's a 30min dining limit which kicks in especially during peak hours.

White rice is hard and stuck in my teeth but overall dishes are good (on the smaller portion side). Recommend to try the Rendang Lion Mane

Veg laksa is delicious and not too oily. If you want handmade noodles, MUST highlight to cashier as the default will be white thick noodles. My interaction with service staff is limited to assigning of table & bringing of food. So far no issue

Loved this place. Food was amazing. Veg but very different than the Indian taste but good. Price is also very good.

Loved the Gu Lou Yok but the lotus root soup tasted really diluted :( added chilli sauce into it and it was... still not great My friend said her Taiwanese noodles had really nice chilli but would have been better with more protein. She found the chilli nicely spicy... her soup was good too! She gave it a 3/5 though oops 🤩✨ Nice ambience and lighting cuz it wasn't too crowded, max 30min stay time tho...

4 Veggies+brown rice: $10.50. People really gonna be eating grass if they patronise this eatery too often. Taste is decent tho.

Greendot is tasty. I enjoyed Angelica Herbal noodles and today tried “Cai Png”. 3 dishes, brown rice and a soup for $10:70. It’s another delicious set of meal. But it’s too expensive to have it regularly. Staff attitude really need to improve. They are in their own world and do not pay attention to customers. Good food with pricey tag should come with good service.

Yummy food but service has to be improved. Junction 8. I mean most of the dining experience there, the staff in a rush to clear all the plate as soon as we finished the dishes. In a hint like to chase customer out of their shop as soon as possible, though there is no customer waiting in the queue. Really dislike the service. Service does not compatible with the food price. Hope this can be improved, so that i don’t mind patron again and again. Because the food in greendot are really good!

Ordered via delivery platform. I had the set meal, came with soup and a bottle of apple juice. Not bad, would order again.

A vegan vegetarian visit to SG is never complete without visiting Greendot. My go to place for tasty, reasonably priced Sg food (laksa etc). Dont understand why this branch rates lower than other branches. They have same good service and same awesome food.

Im a regular at Greendot Bishan outlet n is surprised that to find an a la carte veg dish, which I bought is only half-filled. This happened when the outlet changed to a male server during lunch today (1 Apr 22). Appreciate if the manager of this outlet ensures consistent std in the portions served by staff in future.

My favourite dish Crispy Beancurd Skin w Sesame Rice Set is finally back!! It was out of stock for a period of time, not sure if it was because I went too late in the day... Anyhow, this dish is highly recommended! As a non-vegan/vegetarian, the crispy beancurd skin is hands down the best replacement for chicken. The soup is also very refreshing! Would be great if they could be a little more generous with the ingredients, especially the achar 🥲 too yummy Would also like to compliment the service staff who is always standing outside the stall - Didn't manage to get her name. Visited several times before, she's always so sweet and helpful even during peak periods. Really appreciate her kind gesture when she said I could order first as one of the tables was going to be done with their food 💖

Taste wise is nice. A bit overpriced imo. Especially for the bento set. I really love their taiwanese noodle. Ordered once during circuit breaker. What I received was very small portion compared to their normal portion when you dine in. Since then never buy to takeaway. Tried their bento (2 main dishes + 1 veggie) costs me $10.70

First time trying..had the dry noodles with the paste and konnyaku balls. was very tasty and washed it down with the winter melon tea with osmanthus jelly, refreshing way to end the meal.

Due to the current safe mgt measures, it took me a while before a seat was available in Greendot at Junction 8. Waited at least 10 minutes for the food but it was all yummy. Love the chunky fries and the otah patty.

Customer service is bad. There is no system. It doesn't make sense. There are sufficient staff. However, when someone infront take 10++mins to order, another employee absolutely didn't have the initiative to assist or attend to the next customer. The staff are so focus on being "busy" that they didn't notice who is in the queue. It's became a situation of "I notice you, so I'll give you priority & attend to you first". So even if you manage to get a table, no one will tell you that you can order online. You are left on your own to figure out. This is the first time, where the customer service makes you feel unwelcomed. This branch has lots to learn. The staff in other branches like nex are so welcoming & the customer service is excellent. The food is not very cheap. Yet the customer service at bishan branch doesn't justify the price we are paying.
