It's almost every weekend there would be many people queuing to dine in or take away. The restaurant is under HDB void deck but seems like 2 shops combined. Dine in seats are limited, that's why the queue. Have tried their cooked food like laksa, lor mee and dry noodles. Taste quite good. I had very bad experience with take away. I took my own container for take away, after they completed my order, they just chucked aside my order without telling me or shouting out. Wasted 45 mins waiting for my food to turn cold. Point noted, next time, use their container and pay extra or dine in.

$6.10 for coffee plus this set. Rather high price, taste is good. $5.10 can be better. Make it a set to attract more diners. Or at least twice a week.

Decent vegetarian restaurant located in heartland. Zichar style like curry fish, horfun & fried rice etc. Decent taste. Great varieties.

Tried this noodle because everything else was sold out. The place is a little small and some seats can be pretty warm being far from the fans but it’s a pretty nice little place to have a quick lunch. The mock char siew tastes pretty good but sadly its only 3 slices. I would order one with extra ingredients. But overall a positive experience. Will visit again.

As per others experienced, They don't cook the dishes based on order priority You can wait till the chef feel like cooking your dish I ordered and paid a normal dish to pair with rice. Waited for the dish for 30mins before demanding to cancel and refund. The cashier still tried to charge me for the rice. In short, very terribly managed cooks and front-end. Got to add-on, the auntie who takes order keeps on asking whether I'm dining-in or takeaway while I am still browsing the menu at standing one side(NOT occupying their table) and considering the options.

Update 18 dec 21. You can use your CDC vouchers here. Price is now $3.00 for big portion.of vegetarian mee hoon. Bought vegetarian Bee Hoon breakfast for my Mum. Good portion for $2.50 Do expect a long queue on praying days but no worries they have 2 staff to pack n queue moves fast.

The food is generally nice, but some dishes can be average. They rotate their dishes every day so you might not be able to eat what you want that day. The price is not bad though, we ordered 4 main dishes and 2 sides for $30+. It’s a good place to go for casual outings with family/friends even if they are not vegetarian.

First visit on a Saturday evening peak. Restaurant was quiet perhaps due to school holidays. Confused by the extensive menu, I decided to just go for the first item on the menu - Mee Sua Soup with Egg. The portion turns out to be bigger than I thought. The Mee Sua used in this dish is the fried brown type and pairs well with the broth. There are also generous servings of vegetables, dumplings and mushroom balls. The restaurant does not have aircon but strong ceiling which makes dining in pleasant despite of the immense heat and hot broth. Will be back to try other items in the menu but will probably skip the bottled drinks next time. The Mee Sua was listed as $5.50 in the menu but my bill came up to be $9.

Very crowded in the morning with very rude patrons who insisted on sharing our table, scolded us in Hokkien, and chased us away. Generally the crowd is very rowdy, witnessed another argument between the customer and staff while queueing for food. No safe distancing, strangers all sharing tables and the staff think it’s ok. That’s how a community cluster might form.

Nice and friendly service but the food may have room for some improvement. Have tried here the 2nd time and this time ordered the horfun, hokkien noodles and the special 7 to 8 ingredients wrapped with beancurd skin, but the food Is alright and uses abit too much mock meat for our personal preference. Will have prefer more natural vege and tofu etc. Portions are generous. They serve eggs here and they accept both Grab and Favepay.

Their coffee is thick and rich ?? And their special meal - Bak Kut Noodle is good too.☺️ Sadly, their fried bee Hoon standard has drop greatly. The bee hoon is too salty and dry. Really miss the good old one.? Hope they can look into that, if not really need to skip the bee hoon on next visit.

My first time eating there & it was a good choice. A vegetarian friend brought us there. The best part, the ingredients are all home made. Absolutely no fillers. Definitely worth going for all vegetarians or vegan. Their barley was served warm & not so sweet.

I patronized this restaurant last week since I had to be a strict vegetarian for a few days. The food is quite nice and variety is good. I would recommend their bean curd. However, I really want to highlight something which I found to be weird and illogical. I wanted to order fried rice without egg but this short haired lady told me its not possible. When I told her I cannot consume egg, she simply said that the chef would rather not cook this dish then. I even asked her why is it so but she refused to comment. Is this a vegetarian restaurant that forces its patrons to make do with egg based dishes? I hope the management/boss of this restaurant will look into this matter and educate their staff.

Been a customer here for years and their food service and quality do down every year especially after hiring china workers. Today i bought 2 plate of bee hoon at base price of $2.50. Told the server i dont want char siew and add 1 egg each plate , had to repeat 3 times as she got understanding problem and finally she said ok she give me more mushrooms instead. ( the other guy beside me ordering also had issue with the server and lost his temper btw) Guess what she tricked me and secretly add up the cost to $10.60 for both plates of bee hoon (egg $1, mushroom additional $1.80). U be the judge if they suck. Never returning back and going to 田中 vegeterian just beside them, service and taste much better!

Tasty Vegetarian Bee Hoon at very cheap prices was the most popular dish sold there, apart from other variety of noodle and Laksa etc. For those who order plain bee hoon, a generous portion (big packet) costs only $1.50.

The staff who engaged me was friendly. I went today 10 Aug 2020 when the shop started business at 5:30pm. The chef did not start on time and caused delay cos those behind me had their dinner served but mine still not ready. The food additives taste averagely fine, not too salty or too plain, acceptable by general public. But for healthy diet, the salt amount need to reduce a bit. The Hor Fun is a disappointment as their standard dropped. The kway tiao was not stir-fry properly before all other ingredients are added in. Unable to taste the 火候 as the cooking is too going through the motion, sub standard. The Hokkien mee is ok.

Small establishment, with pretty tasty vegetarian food at very reasonable price. Meal for 4 cost about $30+. Ordered 2 mushroom dishes, lamb soup, claypot tofu, rice and drinks. Went on a Saturday and while the place is full, there wasn't really a long queue so the waiting time was pretty short. Service is prompt.

Food is good and reasonably priced. I’m not usually a fan of vegetarian food as it can be a little oily and artificial but their food is flavourful and not oily at all! If you are a fan of mala, give their mala noodles a try (only available in the morning). Do note that it gets crowded and waiting time can be quite a while on first and 15th of the lunar calendar.

Always pass by n see quite a Q up so gathered there must b some catch for it .. Manage to squeeze in on a busy Sunday late breakfast .. Ordered the standard vegetarian bee hoon, was excited to taste but end up a bit disappointed, too salty to me the dishes n bee hoon especially the fried stuff, bee hoon was too hard for my taste either .. Might give it a miss from now :(

  • 1/5 Heng H. 3 years ago on Google
Had a bad experience here. We went on the 15th day of the lunar month so quite a lot of dishes was already sold out when we arrived at dinner time. The main problem was this waitress that came along and hard sell the expensive dishes and try to make us order 4 ala carte noodles although we already ordered rice and a few dishes. Although I ordered a small size for all dishes, the most expensive so called signature dish was a large size. My elderly aunties paid for it while I stepped away and they did not give a receipt - does not seem to be an oversight. I asked another waitress about the bill when I realized the change is wrong, and she said that it's not possible that no receipt is given. It was then she apologized for it and said that the earlier waitress had indicated it was a large size. Such strange behavior, I will not have the confidence to revisit the place again.

Food overall is nice. But at times, it can be quite salty (aka too much msg). Their portion used to be very generous. However, inflation has hit every evryone and no restaurant can escape from it. The morning vegatarian bee hoon is still reasonably priced. During th 1st and 15th lunar day, the restaurant is crowded and sometimes hard to find seats. There are 3 queues for ordering food. One for drink, one for pre-prepared noodles and one for other dishes. For dinner, they do have staff going around taking orders.

Vegetarians likes to patronise this restaurant on the 1st and 15th of the lunar month. Today happens to be one the day. Waiting time was long, queues as well. Experience is not so impressive because two dishes ordered and one forgotten, the only dish served tasted rather mediocre too, despite being promoted by the staff.

Love the curry potatoes with mock meat, really taste like, the potatoes texture are just nice, not too hard not too soft, once bite it will mashed in you mouth, effortless to chew. Hubby loved the fried beehoon and fried noodle, he said gor hometown feel. The coffee and tea are smooth, not siapsiap kind. Can try if you are nearby. Not air-conditioning fyi, Toilet located at the back of the store You can order food and drink at one go, but if more than 2 drinks, Aunty will ask you to Q up separately for drinks order.
