Allium-free eggless vegetarian restaurant. Very affordable menu mostly serving Asian dishes, with some daily specials. Best for vegans to check with the staff whether items contain dairy and honey. Would recommend the Triple Mushroom Treasure Roll Rice and peanut Tofu. Located within Fo Guang Shan Temple with a zen ambience.

Feb 2021 - Had tried Penang laksa, sambal Okra, herbal soup, kueh pie tee, serve fast, tasted good and price reasonable.. Will be back again to try other food because they serve certain food on other days only.. Need to take note, walk through car park for temperature screening to reach the restaurant. Back again on 08/05/21. But this time must call to book because seats are limited than last visit.. We had more food this time without rice.. Brinjal, rojak, goreng pisang, ngoh hiang, petai, green vegetable and steam dumplings. Food and price are reasonable that will be back again for other dishes..😋👍

Tried the wanton noodle and dumplings soup. The wanton noodle is nice, but the sauce tasted a little salty. The dumplings skin quite thick. Perhaps will be better with fried dumplings. A little odd there is a accessories shop inside the small restaurant. The food may not be exceptional tasty, but the ambient is good. Recommended to come for a relaxing meal or tea experience.

We visited on a weekend with family (including an elderly in 80s). Although the place was packed where almost every table was taken, the staff was kind enough to relocate a single customer to a smaller table so grandma was able to get a seat promptly. The cafe has grown tremendously over the years, their food offerings have expanded, a counter well-stocked with Vegetarian food ingredients is now placed near the cashier for retail therapy. Family enjoyed the Kueh Pie Tie, rojak, claypot noodles among many tasty offerings. The baos (steamed buns) at $2 each is also very tasty, curry, barbecue and also original vegetable. The staff recommend the Petai steamed bun (saying it’s delicious) though it was out of stock. Also, this is probably the few places in SG you can get a 佛 character on your latte beverage.. 😂

This is a great place to hangout with friends over vegetarian dishes. The price is very reasonable and you may wish to look at the other merchandise or make a donation too. My friend brought me to the sutra copying hall at level two for a quiet zen moment of copying sutra with Chinese calligraphy pen after lunch. It was an awesome experience!

A hidden cafe in a temple at level 3. I would consider it to be the best vegetarian eatery in Punggol. Like their wanton mee, cooked to near perfection and very generous on the ingredients.

Amazing Chinese veg food even without factoring the insanely affordable prices. Enjoyed everything from the veg noodles to the rojak and steam dumplings. Favorite was the kueh pie tee. Ordered a second round - it was that good. Even the drinks are nice and can't go wrong with the honey lemon.

A cosy Taiwanese vegetarian cafe that serves delicious food and beverages with a homely and healthy feel. I have been here many times and love every visit! Due to Covid, dining time is limited to 30 mins and strongly recommended to call to reserve a table.

Nice comfortable place for the occasional vegan urge. I like the big Buddha hall conveniently downstairs as well. The food are healthy, less of those typical vegetarian glutens. Not enough parking is a problem though, especial on weekends and even weekday lunch some times.

Ambience is inviting. Crowded during weekends so if you want to go there and chill better be on weekdays. Love the sandwiches and floral tea there.

Great place! Limited menu, but very tasty. Lots of vegan options. Very quick service, and the ambience is that of a very tranquil place. People do talk loudly, but seeing all the Buddha statues makes you feel at peace.

The ambience setting of the place is nice but what a waste that it market positioning is not clear. The food is OK but the range is pathetic. The food is not very appetising and the portion is too small. At the price range now is considered expensive for the quality and portion. This cafe does not even serve local coffee as it only sell upmarket western coffee at $3 onward. If the role of this vegetarian cafe is to propagate vegetarian food, perhaps it should make the food and drinks more economical to appeal to a bigger mass in Punggol area. Maybe your cafe should follow Maitree cafe concepts. More local vegetarian food with a wider variety and at a price that is friendly to the mass.

Came here with the fam for the first time on no-meat Good Fri and was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the vegetarian food here. We ordered a variety of dishes, with the highlights being the belacan lady fingers, wanton mee and rendang. Kudos to the amazing belacan which somehow managed to achieve sufficient savoriness even without the addition of shrimp. Really nice atmosphere to dine in as well, with the humble friendly service of the volunteers coming to the fore. Will be back for sure, do come by and give your support if you’re in the area! Do note that you will have to make a reservation during this period though, due to COVID restrictions.

This very pleasant teahouse is on ground level of Fo Guang Shan temple near Punggol Mrt station. Besides tea, there is great vegetarian food too. There are so many choices from olive rice, various noodle & mock meat or beancurd dishes to gd vegetarian Siew Mai, Kuih Pie Ti as well as desserts n signature cappuccinos. Impressive. Very spacious, very clean; very friendly n fast service. Temple is very serene, not a huge complex like Bright Hill so not so tiring to move about. Felt like peaceful home.

Great place to chill. The mains served are generally healthy. I enjoy the fruit tea and also the milky wheat tea (shown in the background of my photo). The teas can be refilled with hot water upon request. There is an outdoor space which is sheltered and good ventilation.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon around 12 plus. It was super packed! Had to wait for seats and queue for awhile before I got to order. Ordered wanton mee, minced mushroom rice, spicy wanton and kuah bao. Wanton mee delighted me! Definitely ordering wanton mee again. The rest were good but not exceptional. Staff were approachable and helpful.

This is the 2nd time we visited this place. Rendang rice is one of the must have dishes along with the mixed fruit tea pot. That tea pot is out of the world. We just loved it so much and I would go back any day just for that tea. Their dumplings are also fabulous specially the sauce that served with it. Fried vegetables and fried toufu is something I would give it a pass. Herbal soup is one of the most classic dishes they have and it’s so soothing to the taste buds. Lovely ambience and you must visit here if you are vegetarian foodie ❤️

A tea house or cafeteria within a monastery, is quite unique experience, there are buddha statues, caligraphy, and books on buddhism for sale inside the eatery itself. As the focus is not on food, thus waiting time for food will be longer. But overall is a nice atmosphere.

Good vegetarian and vegan food. We really enjoyed the ngo hiang and noodles though the portions were a bit small. I would recommend that you stay away from the lotus flower tea. Will be back to try the other dishes.

The opening hour was 10am. But they saw us waiting outside the place at 8.45am and opened up for us. The food was limited then, it was the hospitality that amazed us.

I would tell you the sambal is bad so that it will never be out of stock. And that the ambience is awful so it will not be overcrowded in the otherwise ambient place. Jokes aside, the crispy ginger, mince mushroom rice and all sorted teas are amazing, and I recommend visiting even if you aren't Buddhist. Do also drop by level 2 for a calligraphy session and bring home a free handwritten scroll! :)

My favorite vegetarian restaurant that serves a good range of rice, noodles, snacks and drinks. The special dish today is vegetarian chicken rice and it is as good as ever. Visits to the restaurant is by appointment only due to social distancing.

This vegetarian cafe & restaurant is located in FGS which is not near from the downtown. However serving the purpose for people who came to clean their mind and also the body, Waterdrop is a great choice for breakfast and lunch. The serenity and nice people are the main courses served, and I'm grateful to get the chance to eat here.

Good vegetarian food, Great people and very peaceful ambience. Serves very authentic Taiwanese vegetarian dishes here too. Also there are many varieties of drinks, both hot and cold. Great place to relax and chill for the peace and quiet that is rare in noisy Punggol.

Choice of vegetarian food is limited. More choice of drinks then dishes. And taste of foods are more towards salty for health conscious vegan. More of a place for a causal meal with family and kids. I dropped one star from 3 because I feel so thirsty hour after the meal... perhaps too much msg added.
