This is the place to be! Been in Singapore for 5 years and only stumbled upon this vegetarian shop today. Wife and I loveeeee our Assam fish and dried curry chicken with brown rice is a must try. One thing to note is that there is a system glitch in their operating hours (mon-wed is 08:30-0930 which is incorrect). I checked with the lady at the counter and they are in the midst of fixing this issue. Submitted my edit suggestion. If you're in the area and looking for a change, this is the place to dine. Cashier staff is nice and chatty, from Pahang. Good is not overly flavored, the sourness from our Assam made me salivate more after every bite. Didn't need to wait when we came here which is a weekday at 2pm. 😍😍😍

Ordered the olive fried rice ($6) and CNY hokkien mee ($6). Surprisingly not bad for a vegetarian restaurant, quite flavourful with breath of fire, but most importantly it's not oily unlike the others. Would recommend if you're in the area looking for a good vegetarian food!

I’m a highly sour person, I can eat vinegar pork trotter vinegar till v sour level but this stall the sourness can meet my level though I can still go sour somemore, the best is usually outside vinegar pork always put egg but this stall puts black beans exactly how my mum cooked it. Also sweetness level is ok, coz too sweet I won’t like.. another one is their ginger they don’t slice the ginger they smash the ginger so is in big chunk which can eat together also. Something different is they put black fungus, a bit disappointing is they put cheaper black fungus so a bit nua nua, if they put high quality black fungus it will be crunchy and nicer. However overall it’s amazing vegetation vinegar pork trotter, zero cholesterol version! Healthy and yummy! Another star dish is their sambal petai, long beans, egg plants and lady fingers (they called 4 heavenly kings). The sambal is superb flavorful, you won’t believe the sambal dun have dried shrimps inside. Must try!!!

Delicious Chinese vegetarian food with wide variety at reasonable price. Friendly and accommodating staff 😍 Update: Wan tan mee was good but Mee rebus was average.

Small eatery with limited space for tables but place is clean. First time here, recommended by a relative. Ordered Sweet Sour "pork" rice, add a poach egg $6.50. The sauce is indeed well cooked. Taste of sourness and sweetness is just right. Will be back to try their other dishes soon. Definitely won't get bored having vegetarian meals here.

Recommended by a friend who is staying nearby. A casual eatery, order at counter & they deliverto the table, no gst & service charge. A good for 1 pax to group of friends or family in the neighbourhood... The Indian rojak $8 is large for the price. Claypot vinegar $11 (small) quite fragrant, lacking some ginger kick. Crispy creamy abalone mushroom $11 was nice too. We also enjoyed the drink lime with prune $2.20 (hot), cuts the grease fr the fried rojak dish. Nice place, will return.

I like to patronize SHU Vegetarian at Bukit Batok West Ave. 8 because their food is good. I particularly like the crispy golden vegetarian meat and their rice sets. They have both inside and outside seating. The staff there are also friendly. Highly recommended.

The young lady who seem to be in her 20s, the cashier. Raising her voice at customer and ordering her collegue around in a rudely manner. Ordering them around as dog infront of the customer. And the mature lady (manager or owner) just stand there and allow her to treat others like that? What kind of restuarant is this? How could you tolerate or accept this kind of behaviour? The rest of the staff were kind and polite, yet this lady treats them like they owe her a living.

Food is nice but more expensive than other outlet. Tried mala before is very nice but quite dry. Will be better if the staff can put on smile on their face.

Curry fish head, yam basket and fried prawn were nice. Except for the chicken dish lack of chicken taste.

The vegetarian food is delicious, we had claypot tofu, mala, kung pao monkey head mushroom, cereal oyster mushroom. Not too crowded but the seating in restaurant was very hot, the aircon wasn't effective as there it is open to outside.

Food was really nice. Loved the Hor Fun. Big portions given. Cashier seemed pretty impatient but was still polite enough. Atmosphere was pretty cosy. Do note there are different dishes every-day.

This outlet has a good variety of menu options that is very creative for vegetarian meals! I had the dry curry "chicken" option and a plate of long bean, and was really happy with dishes.

The staffs are friendly and good service. The portion advice is great to avoid food wastage as the portion is quite large even for small size.

Like the place. Lots of plp on weekend. The fried rice and the sambal petai is nice. The almond drinks, taste is not too strong. Need to be a bit stronger of almond taste.

Love the curry - very flavorful and thick. And the vegetables are well cooked in the curry - my favourite lady's fingers and brinjal. 😋 The mock chicken has a nice bite and chew, and it complements the vegetables well. Very appetizing!

Recommended by a friend and I was pleasantly surprised. Cozy shop under HDB. We had their olive fried rice, sambal petai fried rice, radish omelette, but I was most surprised by how delicious the butter mushroom was! MUST TRY! Great service though they almost forgot our drinks for one moment, it was fine. I'm definitely coming back again soon.

Me and my family went here to have dinner. We ordered a Mala Xiang Guo which we picked seafood tofu. After waiting for the food. We found out that the seafood tofu was spoil when me and my mum had the 1st bite. I feedback to the staff but was told the seafood tofu was fine. After that my mum felt stomach. Eat at your own risk.

👍👍 It was so cozy and absolutely loved the vibes. The food was exceptional and the service was great. The smell of the pita was sooo good and the pita on my lamb was soaked with flavor. Tho you may want to note that lamb generally has a strong smell/taste. My suggestion is to maybe elevate their desse...
