WOW WOW WEST large portion of western food, value for money. Chicken cutlet they serve isint the typical type which is flattened. Their fried chicken is thick and juicy. Fish and chips is flaky and well fried. Comes with their homemade tartar sauce which was delightful!

Even though it is quite late at night there are still plenty stores open for business. Ate the satay but just mediocre, and some stick has too little meat. Also, they are putting the oily part into the satay stick too. Sauce is rather sweet type. The dessert store has long queue mainly because price is rather cheap and taste is good.

It's a market that is quite busy and crowded for all 3 meals, due to the number of above average stalls there. However there isn't good ventilation and it does become stuffy.

The claypot chicken rice ( Yuan Yuan ) was so satisfying ! Rice was soft, drizzled with black sauce brought to mix round with all the ingredients. Chinese sausage not hard, chicken tender and not overly dry, and bits of salted fish just nice for the portion and not an overkill. Veg can be a little bit more but it’s not a deal breaker :) love it when it is served piping hot and warm all the way to the end digging the burnt rice crusts out from the sides of the pot. Maybe I don’t eat claypot rice for a long time so the experience may sound a bit exaggerated. The or jian ( oyster omelette) just a few doors away on same row was nice and crispy that put a smile to my face when I crunched the omelette bits in my mouth combined with the oysters oozing. Oysters were of good size - not too big. It too small. Ended with iced Ching Tng with generous ingredients! Impressed ! Uncle has a cheerful demeanour too ;) .

Went to Pete's as Wow Wow West was closed. But I am pleasantly surprised by the portion and quality of food offered for its reasonable pricing of $7.50 for its chicken chop. Added $1 for their egg and it was cooked to the perfection

The food court is a mix of Halal and Non Halal food items. Be carefull to muslims. There ia Nasi Ayam Penyet with spicy sambal available here to those who love pedas (spicy) food. Its Halal and as usual, do clean your table after yourself as you will be fine SGD300. Put your cutleries at designated trolly per label of Non halal or Halal trolley

One of my favourite hawker centre in Singapore. Perpetual crowds from morning to night. Many varieties of food, mostly old stalls with a few new ones that will meet taste buds of most people. Many seats around, and huge ceiling fans keep the place airy. Can eat in relative comfort. Tried traditional Chinese soup today. Cost S$4.50 for soup, and $0.50 for a bowl of rice.

One of our favourite hawker centres with plenty of food varieties. Many of the stalls are famous among the locals eg. Fatty Cheong roasted meat, Wild Wild West western food, Jin Jin power chendol, Yuan Yuan claypot rice, Ah Er soup, Yuguo curry rice etc.

One of my top three hawker centers for the food and ambiance. Wide range of food options from leicha and caifan to Penang and SG-style laksa. Also parata options, chicken and duck rice, soba, and more. It’s also spread out so the breeze gets through. there’s ample seating at 11-1230pm on a Sunday. It’s well lit so you don’t feel like you’re eating in a dungeon. Extra points for being close to ikea

A eating place truly very affordable with the best facilities. Toilet still need 10 cents for entry, but food prices are generally from around S$2-3 all the way to 10. Many great options including Wild Western meals, fatty meat, fish head soup, claypot chicken and all the way down to desserts. Truly a place worth preserving.

Many choices of food options here in this hawker centre. Tried the claypot rice and did not disappoint as it wasn't overly salty like other places. Rojak had a vegetarian (non shrimp paste) option.

Ordered : - Claypot rice at Yuan Yuan stall - carrot cake (forgot the name) - Power Cendol (at Chin Chin stall) Claypot is not bad, their chilli can satisfy me, the taste is nice, only 1 minus point is over cooking (4 stars) Carrot cake is ok ok 4 stars Cendol: is normal with my husband but that’s nice with me 😂 4 stars for this

Dinner choice of pork satay, oyster omelette and coffee at these stalls. Satay meat is succulent and nicely seasoned with bits of fats that completes the taste. Oyster egg has the wok hey with oysters just nicely cooked. Big shout out to the aromatic coffee from freshly grinded beans - one of the best local coffee found in hawker venues.

ABC BRICKWORKS, a heartland hawker center. Open all day - Chinese India Malay food. Have a reasonable good food to try. Today manage to try THE MEEPORK - the minced soba was great (see photo) and JASON PENANG - the char kway teow ( the light ) was excellent, Penang laksa was good too. There are still plenty to try on my next visit.

Good range of local food. Spoiling with choices. Reasonable price. Good portion of rice. A bit salty with the gravy, need to eat more rice to neutralise.

The western food at Wow wow west is really good, and it comes in large portions that are reasonably priced. While the wanton noodles with char siew were nothing special in terms of taste, the noodles were unique because they were very thin. Overall, it's worth visiting this place just for the great western food.

Pass by this stall, and was attracted by the choices of dishes available, so try the salted egg yolk chicken rice. Not bad for the price of $5 + $0.2 for packing. But it would be even better if the rice come with more salted egg York source. Over all this dish I think is around 3 out of 5. 🤔🤔🤔

At ABC market, suggest seating near the stalls though some stalls provides nice food, otherwise be prepared to embrace the unwanted stench. We have to relocate our seating to another table. Unfortunately I chose the wrong fish ball stalls for my dinner. No use of glove when picking ingredients and collecting of money. The food half eaten was to save unworthy calories to my waistline. Patronize the western food stall while there.

Nostalgic hawker center to visit. Try this BKT, more peppery than Ah Hua and Song Fa. The Tee Kar is soft and smooth.

Of the better hawker centers in this part of Singapore near Alexandra Village and just behind IKEA. Full of note worthy and mouth watering stores (easily 50 of them) and the food here is awesome! Easily 10 people in the queues of popular stores like Wow Wow West Western Food, Project Penjet - Ayam Penyet, Chendol, Roast Pork Rice, Steam Chicken Rice, Prawn Mee, etc.

A place where there is a lot of good food in one hawker centre. When you see long queues, you might want to join in. However a number of stalls are not open between lunch and dinner so do research before you go down to avoid disappointment!

Old school hawker with lots of local food options, and Almost all stalls accept forms of QR payment too!

Went there after a long walk from buona vista via the Greensway (Rail corridor) on Sunday, so pretty late for lunch, most places were closed. Tried the assorted beef 河粉, not used to the thick sauce, but overall quite OK, esp lots of meat (including 2 meatballs, which is a nice surprise). So Kinda make up for the price, 6SGD
