Burnt Ends We learned about burnt ends, as they were featured on Netflix’s Somebody feed Phil, and had been trying to secure a seat for the last year. They had recently moved to a new unassuming location at Dempsey – The place was well decorated and modern in a very casual setting. However, we chose the chef selection and the food was greatly below expectation with monotous flavours and many fundamental mistakes such as overcooked steak and undercooking beurre noisette. Hopefully, this experience was due to a new location or just a bad day. Starter - Smoked Quail Eggs with Caviar This dish was heavily under seasoned and the caviar did not provide the required brininess or complexity of flavour. The silver lining was that it did have a sweet smoky aftertaste and was cooked to have a soft runny center. Grissini - A bread stick? We could not understand the communication from the waiter of what this item partially due to difficulty associated with masks but this was the best dish of the night with a creamy topping and chives. “Fish and Chips” and “Steak Frites” Beef tartar and Kingfish carpaccio on a layered potato cube topped with caviar. The beef and fish were both very fresh and their soft textures worked well in contrast with the crispy potato. However, it was once again heavily underseasoned which let the dish down. White pepper chicken neck This was so heavily seasoned that it was akin to the cinnamon challenge for white pepper. Eggplant Miso Eggplant seasoned with miso and fried in a tempura batter. Once again, surprisingly under seasoned considering miso is an inherently salty marinate. Leek White Truffle Leek baked in the oven covered with brown butter sauce , hazelnuts and white truffle. The leek itself was cooked quite well and was tender and sweet. However, the brown butter sauce was more of a melted butter sauce as it was not cooked for long enough and had no nutty or rich flavour. The truffles were freshly shaved but had no aroma or taste, very very odd. Cubano Pork Belly This dish, on the other hand, was so heavily salted that if left for a couple more days could easily pass as a block of prosciutto. Half King Crab and Garlic Also in a not brown brown butter sauce, the dish was very bland considering the type of ingredients used. Rohnes Striploin We were recommended medium rare but we asked for medium as we preferred our meat more on the pink side. We were warned that their medium was ‘slightly more cooked’ than most restaurants so we were expecting something in between a medium/medium well. However, the meat was served on the more cooked side of well done. As a barbecue restaurant, this was definitely a fatal error. Sitting at the counter, we also noticed stark differences in their “medium rare” based on the size of the cuts. Marshmallow This was actually really well seasoned with a forward taste of citrus and cinnamon and a nice juxtaposition of crunchy brulee-ed crust with a soft marshmallow center.

Great food and great service. Their beef is so delicious, other dishes are also superb. I highly recommend their Chef’s Select menu. Alcohol choice is great as well. Also I love the decor and the old school vibe. One minor bad thing: we had to hunt for reservation for 4 months and when we finally got it we still had to wait 10 minutes outside in the heat. But it doesn’t taint the overall great impression, and they are moving to bigger place soon so it should be easier to get a reservation.

Great relaxing atmosphere in this Dempsey eatery. Parking was ample during lunch. Service was both friendly and prompt. Food served nice and warm. The pulled pork burger was very good just as the rest of the dishes. Of course, the tenderloin was excellent. An overall wonderful lunch experience.

After a long awaited booking, the food did not disappoint. The dishes were intriguing to my taste buds, and the cooking perfection of simple ingredients did spark a lot curiosity and questions of how its made. The food served will bring your sensing to the next level as they put together the simplest of ingredients and their perplex seasoning over their handle of fire/BBQ style cooking.

Had the dinner in the private room and the room is really beautifully decorated. It’s my second time here and first time in the private room. Food is as amazing as ever just that Some of the guests and I don’t fancy the bone marrow at all. I would also prefer the beef to be individually portion out with left over on the table for whoever needs to top up instead of leaving the whole chunk in the middle for 12-14 people struggling to portion out. Other than that I am so happy with my experience

Tried the chef’s menu where the head chef Vincent prepared for us highlights of Burnt ends plus some new items. Really enjoyed the dinner. Firstly, the service was exceptional. One person on my table doesn’t eat raw food or beef and Vincent prepared a menu that catered to that for her. The food was also mind blowing. The food really made use of amazing fresh ingredients that are cooked to perfection. The beef steak at the end had a nice char to the crust. The uni on the crab toast was mouth wateringly good. The marmalade beef on toast was also so soft and delicious. Overall, a superb dinner. The cocktails and wine selection were also amazing, and I highly recommend ordering.

Took awhile to get a booking but was definitely worth the wait. Everything we ordered was good to say the least but I will just talk about the eel and bone marrow and the OP Rib. The eel was roasted with bone marrow tucked underneath served on a small slice of toast. Sweet, tender, juicy and rich The OP Rib was cooked to perfection. Super juicy and tender with just some salt sprinkled over the top. It was served with a lettuce coated in a light vinaigrette. It went well with the rich meat. Looking forward to my next visit 😊

If 2.5 stars is average, then 3 stars puts it just above average, which fits my thoughts about Burnt Ends. Some dishes are great - chicken neck, mushrooms, and some ridiculously over priced - basically paying to eat white truffle and caviar that’s with the leeks and quails egg respectively - i would be happy ordering those without the luxurious ingredients as they are not quite additive to the food and IMO takes the attention away from the technique to cook them properly. It’s a great environment to dine in and staff are polite, gracious and knowledgeable about their food.

Good food and lovely service. If it's your first time, definitely get the chef's selection to make the most of that elusive reservation slot. I want to preface this review by saying that I have a dietary restriction (no raw) which they graciously accommodated. So I didn't have all the caviar dishes that many would love. Some of my faves - grissini and taramasalata dish was absolutely bomb. The leeks, hazelnut, and white truffle dish has a lovely clean flavour. The mushroom with porridge was so simple yet crazy good. The king crab and garlic brown butter is also a win. And that pie at the end is a beautiful ending. Some misses - the grilled chicken tasted basic and a number of the replacement dishes (for non raw) is a little uninspired. Understand that I also limited them by having the food restriction but maybe expected a bit more from them as well, I've seen others cater to this and do better. Service is good as expected from a Michelin ⭐ restaurant. Every dish was well-explained and we were well attended to.

Fantastic food - every bite was amazing, in particular the steak! Delicious wine by the glass. What really stood out for me was the stellar service - friendly, professional, and generous. Second to none! Will absolutely be back.

Exceptional meal, showcasing the simplicity of high quality produce with a touch of fire. A must visit in Singapore but absolutely essential to book in advance. Frustratingly difficult to secure a table, to the extent where checking the website every day for a month can still yield no results. $100 per person (including drinks)

This may be one of the best meals I have ever eaten in my life. I somehow managed to get a seat at the counter for one. The waitress recommended the degustation and I was hungry so I went for it. Over the course of the next 2 hours, I experienced 16 courses of some of the finest food so much so that I didn't even know everything I was trying. Needless to say, I snapped pictures of everything (unfortunately, I ate the duck hearts too fast and all that's left is a picture of the sauce). If you can get in, you must eat here.

Super fun, super yummy, super people, burnt ends is such a lovely place to dine at and worthy of their Michelin star! This is a place that focuses on flavour bombs and not looking pretentious at all. Love the touch of fire and smoke in all their dishes that add a beautiful layer of complexity of flavour. Special thank you to the team for looking after my friend who doesn’t eat beef by replacing it with something equally delicious, small touches like this show that this is a restaurant that really cares for its diners. Don’t miss out on burnt ends!

Outstanding food, service and ambience. Cannot fault this place and the attention to every detail. From the finest Aussie wines, to plate after plate of sensational delights. Vegetarian options were catered for with thoughtful adaptations. It was a pleasure meeting Dave Pynt, the genius behind the creations. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

honestly average. not sure what the hype is all bout. standouts were the alaskan crab and t bone. other than that, food was generally seasoned on the heavy side. nice place to dine and chill for sure but the food was nothing to shout about. service was good though, as expected of a Michelin starred establishment but i won’t be in a rush to be back for sure.

We went for the chef selection. The portions was small so can try many things. Taste wise are beyond average, but not to the extend of giving a lot of excitement The dessert was great. Wines was great. Definitely nice environment for sure Very good service.

Visited in Feb 2024 This was a long awaited visit to Burnt Ends after trying to get a reservation for almost a year. Liked the overall experience with many dishes which were pretty decent. There is a chef’s tasting menu for S$280-350 or you can order a-la-carte. We ordered a-la-carte and our per pax spend almost came to the same amount as the chef’s menu. But you may get to try more dishes with a-la-carte ordering. There are also dishes you can order which are not on the menu - ask the servers for non menu items which may interest you. Among the 3 steak dishes we ordered, my preference was in the order of (1) roast picanha with chimichurri, (2) Blackmores cube roll, (3) flat iron with bone marrow Really liked the desserts and somehow the sweet dishes were one of my favourite parts of the meal. Would really recommend folks to try the “snickers” and “roast pineapple with rum sabayon” dessert items. All in all, this place is definitely worth a visit. But the hype felt a bit more than reality.

Finally got a reservation at this new location after they moved over. We had the chef selection and it was great revising the classics along some new dishes. Our host Jasmine and Clarence also took great care of us, making the experience one to remember. Don't forget to tour the wine cellar. It's definitely hoarding some great Aussie wines

Had to go back a second time & it was as fantastic as the first. Service was warm and welcoming as always (another big reason why I love BE!!) & the food is top notch! Some hits and misses with the dishes but ultimately, amazing✨ (The beef marmalade & the steak are my favorites!) Thank you to the Burnt Ends team for a great experience every time.

The food is amazing! Even my Asian platter husband gave his approval and we can’t wait to go back already. Love the smoked egg tart, uni slider and caviar, maitake and egg. Honestly it’s was hard to just chose 3 out of all the dishes I had.

Very delicious! The beef marmalade appetiser was flavourful and paired perfectly with the pickles. My favourites are definitely the Pulled Pork Sanger and Bone Marrow Bun, will return for these for sure! The pulled pork was juicy and the seasoning did not overpower the natural flavour of the meat. The bone marrow bun was oh so sinful, would recommend sharing it. We had about 180g of the skirt steak which was tasty but no wow factor compared to the other dishes. Overall a great meal!

Awesome gastronomic experience with very attentive service even though we were seated at a corner. Food was very very good and the servers were fun and explain every dish to us because we ordered the chef's recommendation. Very importantly they asked if we have any food allergies or anything we don't like.

Decided to come try this place due to all the good things i’ve heard about this. Was really excited but the moment we started eating it was downhill from there. The food was good, i cannot deny. My favourites were the beef& uni, king crab, leek, and bone marrow bun. The service was the reason for the loss of 2 stars. The moment u finish eating a dish the server doesnt spare a second to swoop in and take it away, and fire the next course. Sometimes people like to scoop up the sauce or whatever if you know what i mean. And they stand right behind you. Talking to each other, about how you are taking so long to eat. Its supposed to be a nice dinner to chill and enjoy but instead i felt pressured to rush through everything and leave. When my partner and i decided to add on starters because what we had were smaller portions than we expected, the head chef let out a “fck” and looked obviously annoyed. In front of us, another chef was constantly berating her staff. Literally right in front of us. It was very uncomfortable we can’t even pretend to not hear it. All in all, I won’t be coming back. Some dishes are overhyped/ just boring (grissini, lamb chops, all the desserts ESP the torched marshmallow) and the place itself did not a provide a relaxing & enjoyable experience. We spent 460+ between the both of us. Will take it elsewhere next time.

Kudos to the vibrant vibes burnt ends was giving off. The atmosphere and presentation of the food finely curated and designed. Portions reminds one of French dining really small portions probably with the intention for you to select more plates for variety. Loved the experience though and thanks for the impeccable service.

Tried to book here for over a year and finally got a spot to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Tips for booking: sign up multiple waiting list and you might get one if someone cancels last minutes. It’s wonderful experience. Every dish is amazing. Got a chance to chat with the chef too (sitting at the bar table). One of the best bbq place we have ever been. Will definitely want to revisit.

Super hard to get a reservation for this place unless you camp out for it the moment booking opens. Nobody even responded to me on Instagram when I messaged them to ask when the booking opens. Not sure what’s with all this secrecy and gate keeping. Food itself is not mind blowing given the hype. It’s a good experience to try once, but I will not return. The management can do better to cool the restaurant because I was sweating!!

What truly stole the show for me was their innovative take on the classic fish and chips, topped with caviar. It was a culinary masterpiece that transported me back to the first time I indulged in fish and chips by the Sydney harbor. The attention to detail and the perfect balance of flavors showcased the culinary expertise of the chefs at Burnt Ends. Although I only had the opportunity to savor small bites during my visit, those tantalizing flavors left me eagerly anticipating a return to experience the full menu. Each dish seemed to be a work of art, meticulously crafted to please the senses. The use of caviar added a touch of luxury and sophistication, elevating the entire dining experience to a new level. The service was impeccable, with the staff displaying genuine passion for their craft. They were knowledgeable about the menu, offering helpful recommendations and ensuring that every aspect of my dining experience was nothing short of perfection.

My experience at Burnt Ends was nothing short of extraordinary. Initially, attempting to secure a reservation more than a month before our trip proved challenging, as they were fully booked. However, a stroke of luck came our way when a fellow foodie from one of my groups suggested trying a walk-in. Intrigued, we decided to forgo a hosted dinner and give it a shot. To our surprise, we arrived at 6:15 pm, and within 30 minutes, we were comfortably seated at a table - the staff informed us we had until 8:15 pm. It felt like we had won a small lottery, and the anticipation for the evening grew. The atmosphere was everything we hoped for - chill, relaxed, and with a front-row seat to the culinary action. We enjoyed watching the chefs expertly grill our dishes, adding to the overall dining experience. The two-hour time frame was more than enough for us, and the feeling of exclusivity made the evening even more special. 🥰 As for the food, it was a symphony of flavors. From the perfectly cooked steak to the delightful cocktails, every dish was a masterpiece. The ambiance, coupled with the superb culinary skills on display, created a dining experience that was truly sublime. Burnt Ends exceeded our expectations, and I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking an unforgettable culinary adventure in Singapore.

You wouldn’t expect less if you are visiting Burnt Ends, heard a lot about this place during Covid but have never been to it. Finally visited it with a few friends & was blown away by the dishes. Every dish taste & presented to perfection & the drinks compliment very well with it. I definitely did not expect that I will be so full after completing the course too. The atmosphere in demsey & the decor made the evening even better. Reminded myself that I have to visit the Burnt Ends bakery over weekends to get their bread & bakes which was highly recommended by my friends.

Superb dining experience! It is very therapeutic to watch the action in the kitchen and the service is excellent. I know I’ll love the food here when I have my first bite on the smoked quail egg and caviar. The photo of all the dishes I had is not just pretty but they just make your tasting palate to another level dish after dish.

Seated before the action, I witnessed the smoke and heat and sizzling, giving me enough clues my meal is going to amazing, and it was. Beef features heavily on the menu. We had the miniature Steak Sandwich with shaved black truffle, Steak Frites with hand compressed potato, Beef Cigar with parsley aioli, and the star, Blackmores Striploin ($119/170g). The next morning I woke up with the taste of their king crab still so fresh in my mind. The kitchen that sizzles with hot smoky passion delivers the most gratifying king crab dish served with buttery garlicky goodness. And beneath the garlicky notes you can still relish the fresh sweetness of the fleshy crab. I could fault not one single dish at Burnt Ends. As witnessed from the open kitchen the hardworking team did an incredible job from start to end.

Spectacular setting and amazing food. There is nothing I can crib about. The entire experience is exceptional for the price point. There are other great places in Singapore but the lunch/brunch is complete value for money. Old black and white bungalow adds to the charm of the place. We took the 3 course meal and were very happy with the taste, presentation and quantity. They also give small cards explaining the dish and inspiration from the chef - which I found to be different from other Michelin level restaurants. They also serve vegetarian and vegan versions of the same dish. Very happy with the experience, will definitely go back

Had an rainy Advance birthday celebrations with my hubby. A great display of good service begins with a pickup at the carpark and warm greetings from the servers as we walked towards our seat. We enjoyed the whole dining experience from Corner House and would rate 4.5 out 5 stars. Dishes were full packed with local flavours infused with Japanese and French flavours. Each dish has its unique story of how the chef curated them, mostly related to his childhood. I like the wagyu beef dish best as it was so tender and juicy. I like the Japanese broth that complemented the beef well. The platter of bread was very interesting, crispy youtiao with squid ink that goes with its unique belachan butter! Curry potato bread and sour dough filled up our tummies. Kudos to the team that sang a birthday song for me. I also love the toilet nature view! Would recommend to all.

The expectations are so high for your first visit from everything you hear it's almost impossible to meet them. Overall, some really really good dishes. The beef marmalade open sandwich and king crab were the standouts for me. In general, I really liked pretty much every dish. However, what stops the 5 stars for me is 2 things: 1. How heavy the food is (lots of butter, bread, heavy flavours, fatty food. 2. General lack of veggies. Pretty much everything is pure meat, which adds to how heavy it all was. We also sat upstairs, out of the main restaurant. Great for a group conversation, but doesn't give you the feel you probably get downstairs.

Wedding Anniversary Great experience throughout, highly recommended! 1) Commendable service. Very fast response upon reservation and called to confirm details, special requests. Buggy to fetch us from Visitor Centre upon notification as it was raining. Very attentive throughout the meal, noticing our pace and virtually no waiting time between courses. Greetings and explanations reminded me of SQ service staff. Special requests attended to. 5-star service. 2) High food quality with fusions of local, SE Asian, Japan, French, British etc... there is a couple of misses for me out of the 7+ courses, but I believe it’s more of a personal taste preference. Many surprises and overall, great great food. 3) Ambience is great, too. Partly because we were given the seats at the balcony overlooking the greenery. Quiet, private section with great view and scenery. I am also a person who love and appreciate national heritage so love the rustic feel of the Corner House! Of course, this is not cheap, so I took a star out on the “value”. Not for casual everyday dining but definitely a great place for special occasions. I will be back!

The only reason this didn't get 5 stars was the over attentive staff! We couldn't hold a conversation without being interrupted with a glass of water or wine being topped up or a plate being given / removed. Don't get me wrong, good service is hard to find, but this went totally the other way! However, the food was totally fabulous and delicious and melt in the mouth heaven.

What a gastronomic experience! Now, be sure to come with an empty stomach and a large budget but this is definitely something you don’t get to experience every other day even if you have the money! Do note that you have to book in advance (applies most of the time unless you’re some superstar) and even so it does not guarantee you a seating. Also, the menu changes (daily I believe) but definitely check with the waiter if you have any items that you would like to have that isn’t on the menu. We didn’t opt for the chef selection as we were pretty confident of our orders so we went ala carte. For me, the must orders were the taramasalata (crazy good, would have had another one if we weren’t already so full!), uni sandwich (foodgasm, but super small portion at its $50 for 1), eggplant (amazing crust and the miso sauce wow!) and steak (the way it was cooked with the bone marrow sauce is unique). For some items I wouldn’t order again - Venison was just something I’m not used to; pulled pork burger was surprisingly not as great as I imagined when I took my first bite (way too saucy and too much veggie for my liking); Marion was good but for the price point and cooking method I don’t find it spectacular: mushroom and porridge wasn’t any special as well, mushroom was also way too oily for my liking. Definitely try to opt to have counter seats where you’ll be immersed in the cooking experience. All in all, definitely a place you want to check out.

Although not easy to book however food taste was awesome. Staff could be more transparent on the food recommendation as the mouthful beef tartare recommended by staff as starter, of which not shown in the menu, cost $105 which gave us as "surprise" when we see the bill. The rest are all good.

Amazing hospitality and food! We were very well looked after, and we may have been over ambitious with the food. Nonetheless, it was great and cannot wait to be back! Only issue is that when asked about the water options, we didn’t know that still or sparkling was chargeable, and iced water wasn’t. Will be good if there’s transparency about $12 bottled water.

No words to describe this place. It was such a wonderful experience. Dave and his team were so good and the food was just out of this world. Everything was fantastic and the attention to detail from all the staff was amazing. It's on the pricey side but all worth it for the food and the experience. Will visit again for special occasion if I can get a booking. Keep up the good work Dave and the team and see ya soon .

Amazing restaurant. The people, food and atmosphere is outstanding. Couldn't get to mains as the starters themselves were quite filling. We had the chicken tail, eggplant with miso (miso was out of the world), pork tacos (so fresh and tasteful), leek with hazelnut, pulled pork burger (the best of the lot), lamb chops. Paired it with negroni and old fashioned (never had a better one ever)!

Amazing 3rd time here! Must orders are the Grissini and Taramasalata, beef Tartar with Caviar on a potato toast, I’m not a lamb person but the lamb was so good and cooked in Mediterranean spices and a sweet port/sherry glaze. Zero gamey-ness! The snow crab was sweet and the ONGLET was show stealer! We had this every time. And it never disappoints! Service crew was excellent and really lovely! We can’t wait to be back again!

The food is definitely worth the wait. Long booking to get a spot so hopefully something creative to fix that. My favourite dish was the Pakistani Lamb Chops; so good i forgot the taste of all the others. Service was excellent and worth the price you pay for the experience 😉

What is there to say that has not been said already about this place. Yes, food is amazing. Yes, is extremely difficult to get reservations at this place. Yes, it can be pricey. But trust me in the end the burn is all worth it ;). Either way fantastic service from beginning to end. All the way from the front of the house to the back of the house, amazing service! Every dish was exceptional. Kitchen team was kind enough to offer us the eggplant miso dish and dessert on the house. Will need to comeback and try the dinner menu that’s for sure.

Everything is as you’d expect at such a well known upclass restaurant. The food was fantastic and so was the atmosphere and service. We got the private room (can’t remember what it’s called) which was great to have our own private space and conversations. The food was truly well thought out and executed by the team and each course was well presented and explained. The ambiance was great and I appreciate the interior design and concept very much.

Great vibe, amazing stakes, nice wine collections, professional and friendly staff. My favourite is the lamb chop, doneness to its perfection. It takes 45 min for the meat to be ready so some small plates to start with, just fine though🤪

Everything about Burnt Ends is awesome. We went and sat at the cocktail bar counter and highly recommend it. Edwin the bartender did a great job and shared all the specialties of the restaurant. We loved the Beef tartare and Sanger in particular. The cocktails were excellent too.

Has to be my favorite restaurant in Singapore! Every single dish represented Singapore’s melting pot of culinary landscape really well! Food tasted great, and cooked with pride! I love the service as well! Jasmine was pinpoint with her recommendations. I thoroughly enjoyed her enthusiasm and sense of humor as well ❤️. Finally, thank your Markuro for entertaining us with your cocktail preparation skills. 🍹 See you again..soon…when I can get a booking….. 😆

The interior is one of the most astonishingly beautiful things I've ever seen. We sat in the bar and had some snacks and cocktails. The service and booze were fantastic, and the food was okay, but i could tell the focus is in the main dining hall where I wish I could have eaten their tasting menu. Pictured is the delicious fries that were super crisp and lovely. I must admit I didn't keep photos of the meat cigar or tacos as the flavour wasn't quite up there for a top 50 venue. With my minor criticism I'd still highly recommend heading to Burnt ends. It's truly a beautiful spot.

Had a table for 8 at the Chef’s Table and ordered the custom tasting menu. Most of the usual dishes were hits (especially that berry tart). My only issue is the caviar - it’s nearly tasteless. The smoked quail egg with caviar fell completely flat, and the steak frites thankfully had the potato and beef to save it. Change the caviar brand, maybe? Go with N25?

It’s sooooo good. Just amazing Flavour bombs with every course we ordered!!!! The leek is the most incredible thing, along with the maitake. And of course the Star was the king crab. So good..

I finally managed to eat here. Went in a group of 8 men, and we had a plenty good time. And the food was outstanding. For the desserts, get the berry/cherry tart. If you like a brilliant crust, you will love the end of your meal.

Wow, what can I say about an incredible tasting menu meal? It was expensive but flawless, and served by dedicated, knowledgeable staff. This restaurant deserves every accolade. Just realize that the ambiance and experience is not traditional fine dining --- I was seated elbow to elbow and the restaurant is loud. You'll hardly notice because of how delicious each bite is though!

Burnt Ends is easily one of the top restaurants in the city. I waited an abnormally long time to dine here due to the difficulty of reservations, but so glad I finally did. The flavors of each dish served offered a unique and welcoming experience. It was like opening unexpected amazing gifts on Christmas morning! 5-stars without hesitation.

Maybe not the best place for a group of six due to the seats in a row arrangement (unless you book the table at the end of the restaurant), but the food is amazing! Definitely one of my favourite restaurants in Singapore. The service is also on the highest level. A superb dining experience!

Great ambience, service and a meat lovers paradise. We loved with salt and pepper pork, beef marmalade, leek truffle and beef tongue. The Sanger was a bit too filling and we were not fans of the marrow bun. Wine was excellent, but over priced. A great treat visiting this well run establishment.

I feel that this place is overrated and over hyped. It is very difficult to make a reservation, hence I was expecting better food quality and service. I ordered the tasting menu, the service crews just placed the food on the table and left. I was expecting them to at least tell me more about the dishes. The food was edible but just nothing that fantastic and for the price I was paying, I would say it's not worth it.

Burnt Ends Fine Dining Experience is NOT burnt at all and indeed No end to Good Food. ? May be pricey @$150++ for the full course but the joy to the palate sure pays off. During this pandemic COVID-19 period where travelling is not advisable, a good alternative is to embark on this gastromic experience to help boost the restaurant industry. The safe distance rule also implies that the private room meant for 10 is now available for a max of 5, so best chance of conducing environment for small group gathering now.?

We came for the lunch, overall it was good. Staffs were friendly and attentive. At the end Of the meal we felt what we expect ‘wow’ quality for what we paid for. When we arrived, the staffs told us that we are not allowed to take any photo of the kitchen. Only ourselves and the food. For the price we paid, i expect more. First we got the quail egg as started and it was underwhelming for the price we paid. We had beef marmalade with pickles and that was the best. Then we had the shredded pork in brioche, it’s similar to the ones you can get in ‘fat boys burger’ nothing extraordinary. Main dish we had our $60 steak, to us it’s just good, soft and juicy and we expect something outstanding for the price. Beef was fresh, onion sauce is ok, watercress salad has a bit of Asian twist, and there was a bit of bone marrow on top. We also added a bone marrow buns and it was just ok. Sourdough was $5 and there was only 2 slices. Not a bread basket like the ones you get in most Michelin restaurants. Butter is good and olive oil is pretty wow, reminded me of those we had in Selene an amazing restaurant in Santorini. The sourdough reminds me of my own sourdough that baked in a Dutch oven, moist and soft and has a bit of rye taste in it. Over all was good, not up to the value for the money we paid, we expected ‘wow’. So far there is a restaurant that is ‘wow’ in our head with a good price. ‘Les Amis’.

Been wanting to try this place and glad we did! The ambience is nice as we got the seats at the bar facing the kitchen. Watching the team prepare and serve out the food is really a cool experience. Industrial like kitchen with open fire/coal oven and grills. Food is really really good. We opted for ala carte instead of the chef selection. Be sure to ask for their specials that is not on the menu! All the meat dishes were amazing and must try! - smoked quail egg with caviar - eggplant with miso - steak frites (not in menu) - steak sando (not in menu) - Blackmore striploin - marrow bun - berry tart - marshmallow - By Farr Rose was really good and went well with our dishes! We were served by Leon (I think) and was very attentive. Also checking in on us without being intrusive. Able to explain the dishes well. I’ve given a 4 star because there is opportunity to improve the dining experience given the concept of the open kitchen. The main chef could try to engage “a little” with patrons at the bar, as I would expect from this open kitchen concept... like a courtesy check would be a nice gesture or touch. Gives a cold unfriendly vibe. Interestingly, many diners I know of has commented the same. Thankfully, one of the other chef gave a better impression. All in all, great and I still recommend to try it out. Price is fair for the great food and bottle of wine. Expect to spend around $250 per head. IG @iambruisedlee

Smoked Quail Egg and Caviar, Grissini and Taramasalata, Duck Hearts and Rocket Pesto, Burnt Ends' Sanger, Flat Iron, Burnt Onion and Bone Marrow, Bone Marrow Bun, Marshmallow. Managed to get a seat at the very busy Burnt Ends in Phase 2, the most interesting dish is the Grissini and Taramasalata, the long, flat looking dish. It's filled with coe roe and chives essentially. The Down to earth dish might just be their Sanger which is also available for takeaway since getting a seat here is more of you accommodating to their availability rather than the other way. The Flat iron steak paired with the bone marrow is super rich in skin boosting collagen and paired with the equally unassuming bone marrow bun (what?) just super shiok.

How did they manage to get No.5 in Asia? It's a mystery. Their theme was Next-gen Aussie barbecue but they can't even hold a candle to the old greats like Rockpool Bar & Grill, and they have been grilling on wood fire decades ago. Being at the top 5 on the list one would expect some clever, imaginative or more technical cooking instead of using premium ingredients and just "chuck it on the barbie". Maybe they're going for premium and simplicity (like the steak pictured below) but to pull that off, execution needs to be perfection. They claim it's a "dry aged blackmore's cube roll" but when the waiter brought it to us it doesn't look it's been aged well and I can confidently say that cut of beef that night surely was not one of David Blackmore's premium beef (maybe somewhere on the choice grade end of the selection?) Even a Cape Grim or Rangers Valley beef would look even more pristine. And that Chicken and Peri Peri as a main course was disappointing as well. It was salty, not over seasoned salty, but the kind of salty where you over-brined the chicken. Over seasoning is only on the surface but if you over-brined the chicken the saltiness goes way deep to the bones. I don't know if the salt percentage of the brine was too high or was it left in the brine for too long because even the texture of the flesh was more on the firm side albeit being juicy. It's the small details that leads to the downfall. Service was just sloppy. I'm just gonna stop there or this will turn into a full on rant. So at that price they are charging people should expect a certain level of quality and finesse. Maybe if the head chef was in the kitchen taking full command instead of hanging around outside at the front of the restaurant things could have been a bit more on point.

Had lunch here with the missus and it was a good experience. Service was excellent and staff were all friendly, from the chefs to the service staff. Foodwise, it was mostly hits. We enjoyed the eggplant with miso, which had spicy undertones, as well as the sanger, or pulled pork burger. The Jamaican lime chicken was also pretty good, and we liked the leek with truffle and the beef tongue taco. The souvide smoked quail eggs with caviar were tasty, but the taste was not too robust. My wife liked the grilled fennel with orange and ricotta, though I thought the dish was more like a dessert. We both did not like the bone marrow bun though, as it was pretty oily. The 200 gm flank steak was seasoned well, and had a nice salad, though I thought it was okay, but not wow. The berry pie was very good, but the two marshmallows were very sweet, unsurprisingly. Lunch for two was not cheap and cost $240. If you opt for the omakase menu, which includes grilled lobster and uni, it can set you back $150 onwards per person.

Worth the wait and hype. Went in a group of 8 so managed to try most of the dishes - everything was on point, I liked how the food is not too elaborate, with focus on the quality of the food and how the different ingredients come together. Some serious poetry going on in the open kitchen with the way the staff work seamlessly with each other without any fuss. Wait staff were patient and friendly even though it took us a while to put in our order. Had quite a few drinks too and did not get bill shock.

Booked the Chef’s Table more than 1 month in advance, for this 1 Michelin star restaurant. There’s a min spending for the chef’s table, so we decided to let chef surprise us. There were some misses & some awesome food items. Alaska crab legs was a bit disappointing as the meat was too soft. Squid pasta & beef were the stars Desserts were surprisingly very nice & delicious 😋 Overall it was a good dining experience. A place where you come once a year? That’s my take.

I booked this place after 2 years of waiting for the hype to die down and I managed to snag a lunch seat at 1.45pm. Sat down quickly, the hosts was really friendly even though I was 10mins late and I was served a bottle of their Still Water. The place is dim and as I was seated in the far corner of the bar counter,I can managed to see the kitchen action from afar. I ordered an appetizer and steak with two of their classic cocktails, and boy, their drinks packed a punch. The Burrata salad is superb, with a tangy flavour from the fennel and I am blown away from the flavourful Onglet steak with bone marrow sauce and onion jam. It looks and taste really good, the meat just melts in the mouth! Recommended to go to anyone who loves their meat!

This is the second time I've been to Burnt Ends but unfortunately the last! While I appreciate restaurants are all struggling under Covid restrictions, the blatant up and oversell during what should have been a positive second visit was shocking to say the least. If considering this iconic restaurant here are my recommendations as the food is still superb: 1. Don't go with the waiter's food recommendations make sure you order directly off the menu no matter what! 2. Even if you've been there before and they offer you a similar priced wine (they'd run out of the last one) check the price as clearly paying more than double from the previous bottle was slightly surprising to say the least. 3. Watch your bottled water consumption, as soon as you look like finishing one, a new one miraculously appears and is added to the bill. 4. Don't be fooled by the offer of cocktails at the end of the evening for "last orders" as you'll be expected to rush them or leave them given strictly enforced regulations. So if you're still on the wine at 10pm and told "we can serve them at 10.15" you'll still have to gulp them down regardless by 10.25pm. In conclusion, it is just so sad that a restaurant of this stature has fallen so clearly on desperate times, leaving one with a sense of regret and being literally bamboozled.

Nothing more than hype. May have started with a philosophy in mind but (1) reservation system is flawed and completely unintuitive (2) reservation staff have no communication with front office staff (3) food has had little to no innovation since inception and (4) beef might as well be sponge as that how much actual meat flavor there is.... making it all buttery isn’t the key to success. Would have chosen zero stars if I could.

Every single dish, every single bite is a delight, through a menu that was specially prepared for the occasion. This is a restaurant that will keep people coming back for more. Only realised that the restaurant had a Michelin star after the entire wedding lunch. Massively impressed and highly recommended.

After nearly finishing trying all the Michelin restaurants in Sgp, we were pleasantly surprised by the creativeness of this chef. Looking at the photos, you have to agree with me they look good with different texture and colours and of course the aroma/smell has to hit me first before I eat. The difference with Corner House is that he marries Eastern to French cuisine beautifully. The Eastern taste in everything wasn't overpowering but subtle enough to still make it a French cuisine with good taste unlike Saint Pierre which had Eastern taste in some dishes that were too overpowering for me. I love how he finished off the meal with a beef tartare rice. It was so good. Every dish from the beginning starting with the bread was good except I did not like the chicken breast meat which was a let down. Other than that, all others were fantastic.

A really lovely experience at the Corner House, where Chef David Thien embarked us in an intimate culinary journey inspired by his roots and personal memories. His cuisine is delicate and refined yet with punchy flavours and accessible, not posh at all. The little stories that came along each dish gave a sense of proximity, like chapters of the menu that unfold plate after plate. The staff was lovely, attention to details is brought and they kindly accommodated us as we came with our newborn baby. Great dining environment in a Black and White House nested in the Botanic Gardens. Maybe the only shadow on the whole experience was that the plates were removed as fast as emptied, sometimes not waiting for both guests to have finished : although quite common in Asia, this is a faux pas in France. I would have given 4.5 stars if I could.

One of those places that you bring special people to celebrate special occasions. The service is top-notch and the dining experience is extraordinary. The dishes are well-executed and the inspiration behind each dish really comes through. But besides the food, we were really impressed by the service staff who made sure that we had a wonderful dinner. P.s. Only posting photos of the bread so that I don't spoil the surprise of any of the dishes.

I give a five for the food and pairing, was worth the best in Singapore: creativity, nice story telling, fresh and tasty, right balance of fusion on a sophisticated french base. Discivered interesting wines. Service was good, although sometimes talking a bit too fast and the mask does not help either. I hesitated removing one star because of the atmosphere that was quite poor: we were not in the main room, I was facing a white naked wall, no plant around, AC much too strong, I asked for a blanket (recurring issue in Singapore), music was coming from somewhere else.. disappointed considering the expectation I had on the location. A pity cause the rest is great, and price/quality wise correct as well.

What a pleasure to have had lunch at the Corner House. The chef told me a great story, I believed it and I enjoyed it. That's the difference between eating in a good restaurant and having a real culinary experience! Cherry on the cake, the service is impeccable (thank you Sofia, your smile was stronger than your mask). I will definitely be back!

Loved the new chef’s integration of French and Asian cuisine, especially his interpretation of beloved dishes like Kway Teow, Achar and the century egg. Don’t miss the curry bread roll, which redefined the traditional bread basket. Exceptional service, very happy to see this iconic house getting its due.

I visited for my birthday. Had a vegetarian Omakase 5 course and a regular 5 course lunch. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience, dishes were well executed with developed and refined flavours. I love the mushroom toast, achards, white page syndrome (the purée was wonderful), palate cleanser with mint, yoghurt & lime, “Mont Blanc” and one of the petit fours. Normally, my husband and I don’t like adzuki red bean, however this rendition changed our mind. My hubby who doesn’t eat mint, also decided that he likes the version they presented. We were seated at the whispering corner, it was nice and quiet with a good view of the greenery, roosters, squirrels and an eagle. Service is nice & prompt, a comfortable place to be, no stuffy vibes. Particularly, a young waiter made us feel comfortable and well attended to. The meal was very filling, thumbs up! Other Michelin restaurants have left us feeling hungry after having a course meal. After spending a few hundred dollars, no one wants to have to look for food to fill ourselves up. We would certainly hope to be back again soon. Thank you for a lovely experience!

We've been there for my partner's birthday. Such an amazing experience ! Venue is ideally located for a romantic dinner in the Botanical garden. Food was beyond words, perfectly balanced taste, and very esthetic to watch. We took the wine pairing which made the experience perfect. That's obviously pricey but it's definitely worth it. Michelin star fully deserved !

An average place with food that didn't deliver for our palates. It was lunch service when we dined there and service staff could be more attentive and friendlier. We did not appreciate their attitude. It also wasn't a place that made me feel that I should bother with any photos. The final bill did come to around 200 ++ SGD per guest which would be the first and last time.

Fantastic dining experience from start to finish. A French interpretation of asian delights- each dish will leave you wanting more! Special mention of the bread basket- curry buns and squid ink yew tiao which went so well with the belachan butter. Carb lovers rejoice! Also want to commend the staff- very professional, courteous and obliging.

A seriously amazing restaurant! First of all, I like the ambience of the place, it is situated within trees in the garden which makes it very relaxing. Second of all, the food is amazing for the price. Lots of different flavors and taste, I'm very surprised how good they taste! Definitely recommend this place if you want a twist for local Singapore food!

Came here for my wife birthday celebration, it was a one of it kinds dining experience in the colonial bungalow within the nature of Botanic Garden. They provide pick up service from the carpark which is thoughful since the restaurant is a short distance to carpark/ drop off point. All the dishes served has a story to tell related to how Chef David perceived and wish to present it to us. Local flavours were infused, hence the mixture of french + asian blend and it's not something we get to taste every other days. Definitely worth trying for any special occassion or when you feel like pamper yourself with a decent omakase meal. Thanks to the crew members who deliberately explained every dish to us & sang birthday song for my wife. Thumb up!

Had the pleasure of dining at Corner House this week, it was an excellent experience. I have some odd food intolerances (and just plain old fashioned dislikes). The chef did a fantastic job of meeting my needs, every course was complex, elegant and the taste was simply divine. Service staff too are great, very well informed and enthusiastic.

Michelin 1 Star. Friday lunch. Ambience is very good. We got a corner table in the Corner House - how apt! It’s in Botanic Garden in a traditional colonial black and white house. My Grab driver got lost though... We ordered the 5-course lunch set and it’s very well prepared. Each main course comes with a note with story included. Service was ok but not exceptionally good, guess that’s what’s lacking before reaching 2 stars. SGD 185/pax.

Finally got to have lunch here after hearing rave reviews from a few foodie friends. I liked the grissini with taramasalata and beef with uni which was melt in your mouth. Hubby liked the off menu steak frites and Sangar (12 hour slow cooked pulled pork in a brioche bun with chipotle aoili and coleslaw). The Sangar is quite filling hence best to share. The quail egg with caviar, chicken neck, leek with hazelnut, burrata with fennel were all good. Was very stuffed by all that and only managed to have their torched homemade marshmallow for dessert. Need to come again for dinner to try the rest next time. Bill came up to be $300+ without alcohol and all small plates.

Finally got to try their donuts! They do brioche filled ones - the flavours & texture is just perfect! Donuts seem to be the hot trend now & I think this might be the one to beat! Also ordered their Jalapeno Foccacia to try - it's unlike any other I've tried in SG; I love the bold flavours & that it's well-oiled in every pore..... So good you can even eat it on its own! Service was great & fun - there was 2 of us at the time & the guy put us in a little race to dig out our order number which decided who would get their order 1st! Haha! The bakery is up a flight of steps, beside the eatery, all the way to the 3rd floor. If not for the lady before me, I wldve missed the little paper sign stuck on the wall; upstairs you are also greeted at a no signboard doorway, where you get handed ur order. Their paperbag & packaging is also equally nondescript, save for the greaseproof lining. Good food speaks for itself 😋😋😋😋😋

Amazing experience! Must try : Beef, defintely - Best beef we had this year for now Sanger - Extremely juicy pulled pork ( felt like there could be some sour or sweet element inside for additional flavours) Marshmallow - Please try it yourself! Leek was good however slightly too oily for 2 pax to finish up. Bone marrow bun has very good flavours and my partner enjoyed it but I felt it was too heavy after the mains. Will I go back again? Yes but for special occasions only.

Food was fantastic and the service was great too! Really nice and cosy place to host your guests, but one thing is that it will be really difficult to get a place unless you have reservations! Just noting that though it was all nice in general, the umi beef thing was a bit weird in terms of texture and the smoked cheesecake just tasted like smoked salmon. Pretty acquired taste.

Had a wonderful dinner at Burnt Ends. Sommelier is super friendly and passionate about the drinks. Service is awesome but at the same time not intimidatingly over friendly. Staff should know more about the ingredients they use though (e.g. where is their white truffle from as right now is not the season so most likely from China). Was a shame that the counter seats were all fully booked. Can’t wait to visit them at their new spot at Dempsey Hill!

  • 4/5 Richard L. 2 years ago on Google
Late post. One of the many places highly recommended by so many people I know. Decided to visit the place for my wife’s birthday—super pumped! Reserved a bar seat for two and that almost torpedoed my plan for a lunch date. I had overlooked the bar seats were away from the kitchen and facing the wall! Not that it mattered on any normal day, but it’s my wife’s Birthday! When I walked into the restaurant, the host read the situation well and offered to swap us to the counter table. I’m super thankful that she saved the day! Phew~ Now for the food, we ordered: - White Pepper Chicken Necks - Beef and Red Curry Taco - W.A Marron, Tobiko, and Kombu Buerre Blanc (Lobster) - 93 Days Dry Aged Blackmores' Cube Roll (steak) - Chicken and Peri-Peri Steak’s tender and juicy (medium well); it’s good no doubt. Beef tacos and chicken neck are really tasty and it reminded me of the days when I’m back in the states (it’s really hard to find good tacos in Singapore). They are simple dishes, yet they are delicious longing for more. The lobster, however, did disappoint me a little. The size of the lobster was small and the flavor didn't rise to my expectations. The lobster’s meat is covered by the sauce and the first disappointment comes when you use your fork to remove the flesh from the shell. Did I just pay $95 for this? Get out of here! The lobster meat was firm, smooth, juicy, and a little sweet on my first bite-- this is expected, but the flavor profile is not as invigorating. Something I’d skip the next time. By the time we had Chicken Peri Peri, we were so full but we continued to march on… The taste is good I think and well cooked but I wouldn’t order them again as the flavor doesn’t stand out. Finished off the meal with a simple marshmallow which both of us enjoyed. Location: 10/10 Ambiance: 7/10 (too many fans) Food: 7/10 Service: 8/10 (host’s great. would have been a 9, but the server was not engaging throughout) I’d come again next time, but I hope they have a more robust menu to offer for their customers.

Finally managed to get a seat at Burnt Ends, was so excited and had very high expectations. And the food didn’t disappoint us at all!! All the meat dishes were very nicely done.. well we didn’t order any seafood. Friendly and attentive staff who made good recommendations and suggestions about the portion. Only minus point was that we were on the 3/F seating, the walkway looks like an abandoned kitchen and smells a bit. But for the quality of food and services, will definitely come back!!

One of the most difficult restaurants to make a reservation for but it is WORTH the effort! The service staff were very attentive to our table (e.g. ensuring our glasses are constantly filled) and checking on us regularly (not to the extend of annoyance). They are knowledgeable on the food menu and gave good recommendations. The food was really mind blowing, especially the leek with hazelnut and black truffle and the flat iron with burnt onion and bone marrow. Wish I had more space in my stomach to try other dishes. The executive chef, Patrick Leano, also made an effort to interact with the guests to make us feel welcome. Totally deserve the 1 star!

Casual place with wonderful food and service. Burnt Ends was extremely difficult to book but we managed to nab ourselves a weekday lunch spot. The ambience was relaxing and the service was attentive, with the server walking us through on and off menu items in detail. Some of the highlights were: 1. The uni toast, with the freshest tasting uni on a beautifully piece of fried bread with crab inside. 2. The “steak frites”, being a wonderfully deep fried potato topped with steak tartare and caviar. 3. The lobster in a smoky and flavourful sauce. While the ambience is casual the price is not. Burnt Ends is extremely expensive, but the food and experience does live up to the hype.

Absolutely loved our dinner here especially since it’s been so hard to get a reservation! Didn’t managed to capture all the dishes because I was too engrossed eating but what stood out was the crostini with taramasalata, bone marrow bun, slow roasted venison, king crab with brown butter, and op rib. The only thing our group found was that some of the dishes were a little heavy on the salt, but otherwise, everything was perfect! Love the overall atmosphere and found that service was also great - warm but not intrusive. A meal to remember!

Among the hardest to get reservations in town, but well worth the effort! I loved the casual yet refined atmosphere and food! We ordered a la carte, basically everything that sounded good to us and with some help of the super friendly waiter. Beef and uni is a classic and yes it is as good as it sounds. Some vegetable dishes and nibbles led us to the main, a flat iron steak with bone marrow and burnt onions. This was a straight 💯 Overall I really enjoyed the inherent smokey flavours all dishes incorporated in their taste profile. We ordered some white and red wine by the glass and the sommelier made great recommendations. As a traveller to Singapore I had very little time to pin down a reservation and indeed I could not get one using the online reservation tool. This was my third visit to Singapore without making it to Burnt Ends, so I decided to just try a walk in. I arrived at 11.30 and waited for them to open. Once opened I was told they are fully booked, but they can give me a table for 2pm. Awesome 🙌

Great service, buzzy atmosphere, delicious food.. made for an exciting lunch experience! We went for the Chef’s Special - which came up to almost $750 for two (after GST). My only comment is that I wish they hadn’t added on all the caviar and uni to the dishes served to us - really hiked up the cost..! 💸

  • 5/5 T T. 9 months ago on Google
Our first experience did not disappoint and I can sincerely recommend Burnt Ends for those who enjoy premium, high quality ingredients, unique combinations, rich umami flavours and warm, flawless service. If you have a good appetite and want to explore the offerings without having to decide what to order, the Chef’s Set is a good “Omakase” option, where Chef chooses what dishes to serve up based on your general likes and preferences. Definitely a pricier option (probably possible to inform the restaurant to work within your upper limit, if required) but it offers an exciting experience to not know what will be brought to your table, and the food just keeps coming non-stop! Some of our favourite dishes were off-menu items for that particular day (such as the uni toast, maitaki mushroom rice, eel toast). We didn’t love everything we tried, as some were mediocre or forgettable in comparison - but still enjoyed the variety. Some additional thoughts: 1. Burnt Ends serves super rich, umami dishes - think bone marrow, butter, marbled steak, Uni, lobster - and because we had the set (and probably ate way too much food) it would have been nice to have some palette cleansers, tangy sauces or citrus salads etc to cut the fat / richness. Probably not an issue if you’re just ordering few ala carte items. 2. If you get to choose, counter seats are better for groups of 2 cuz you get to watch the action in the kitchen. 3. Jasmine was a great host - fun personality, quick to address questions, knowledgeable about the menu and just provided overall fantastic service. The whole team here work hard and are true professionals. Will revisit (if I can secure a seat!!!!) in the future for sure!

The food was on point, the staff were super accomodating… I’m sure if you ask nicely you can sneak a few off bar menu items into the bar. We managed to grab a taramasalata dish and the berry tart on the bar. Thanks team burnt ends! Would definitely recommend and so glad we have an Aussie team representing truely great hospitality and food in Singapore! Cheers

Stunning. It touched the bottom of my heart and my taste buds. Each dish was a delight. From the beginning to the end. Delicious flavors, smells.. Highlights: -the kitchen. Unique and really tasty. There is nothing to add because it is precise and accurate. It is a perfect balance like umami in Japan. -The excellence of the service (the staff are adorable, warm, and explain all the dishes/the history and are very far-sighted - -The cocktails at the bar after dinner. Hurry to go back. It was one of the best Michelin star restaurants in my life. Unfussy, simple and yet grand.

They do serve good food and provide good service, but it’s honestly over-rated. Grissini, chicken neck and the Blackmore cube roll were good. King crab and Steak/Lobster frites were very average and overpriced. Kingfish blood orange tasted bad and I wouldn’t eat it even if it was free.

  • 4/5 Celeste W. 7 months ago on Google
Actually I love the food, service staff were friendly and helpful, however, I realized one of the chefs was super friendly to a group of customers from the same country. Even invited them to the kitchen. I felt left out in my own country just because I don't speak Tagalog. They also seemed to have special gelato or something. I don't understand why a chef cannot treat all customers the same and only be super friendly and nice to people of his same hometown. That kind of feeling spoilt the entire meal.

the place has a cozy warm atmosphere and the service was great.. we have opted for chef’s select which was headed by chef Patrick on that day.. served a total of 10 small bites followed by lobster and steak.. and then dessert.. overall experience was good..
