Three
people
eat,
two
had
lunch
sets.
Total
cost
inc
taxes
etc
$280
Starters:
A
-
Tomato
Soup,
very
nice,
olive
spread
on
the
toasted
thin
bread
slice
was
very
nice
too.
B
-
Caesar
salad,
taste
was
good,
lots
of
textures
within
the
salad.
C
-
Burrata,
tomato
sauce
was
slightly
too
salty,
but
was
good
to
be
eaten
together
with
the
cheese.
Mains:
A
-
Wellington
slice
$68
This
was
such
a
disappointment.
1.
The
pastry
was
buttery,
however
it
was
not
fully
cooked,
once
you
open
it
it's
soggy
and
had
spots
of
white.
2.
The
duxelle
had
a
bitter
after
taste,
was
not
pleasant.
3.
Stead
I
asked
for
medium
rare,
however
I
got
a
medium
plus.
4.
the
side
salad
was
over
dressed,
too
much
oil.
5.
The
saving
grace
was
the
caramelized
carrots
and
mashed
potatoes.
They
were
lovely

Wagyu
steak
1.
I
asked
for
medium,
I
got
medium
rare
-
rare.
I
ordered
these
for
my
kids,
and
my
younger
one
12
years
old
cannot
eat
so
raw.
2.
In
this
day
and
age
of
popular
meats,
i.e.
Wagyu
vs
pop
steak
culture,
I
wonder
if
chefs
know
how
to
handle
such
fatty
meats.
This
steak
cut
was
too
thick,
wagyu
steak
should
be
cut
1/2
-
3/4
"
slices
for
best
grilling.
So
the
fats
melt,
and
the
outer
part
caramelize.
However
I
found
this
steak
to
be
greasy
to
the
taste
and
I
could
not
bring
myself
to
finish
it.
Luckily
I
gave
my
over
cooked
wellington
steak
to
my
kid
to
eat.
3.
The
small
amount
of
salad
on
the
side
had
no
dressing
at
all.
4.
Saving
grace
was
the
French
fries,
they
were
very
nice.
Dessert
A
-
Sticky
Toffee
pudding
Very
nice
dessert,
hot
cold,
sweet
all
balance
nicely
B
-
Chocolate
Fondant
1.
This
is
a
personal
preference,
I
felt
the
sauce
is
too
much
and
too
sweet,
made
the
entire
cake
too
sweet.
2.
Salted
caramel
ice
cream
had
excellent
texture,
can
tell
it's
been
churned
over
a
long
time
and
it's
chewy
and
smooth.
Salty
taste
was
complimentary
to
the
sweet
cake.
To
summarize:
Only
the
desserts
and
side
dishes
are
worth
ordering.
The
table
next
to
ours
also
complained
about
the
doneness
of
their
steak.
One
of
the
managers
(I
think)
came
apologized
and
arranged
for
a
dessert
for
the
couple.
When
the
waitress
came
the
clear
the
plate,
she
said:
"I
hope
you
saved
room."
When
the
dessert
came,
it
was
the
set
lunch
dessert,
sticky
toffee
pudding.
How
funny,
save
room
for
two
people
to
share
one
dessert?
Or
room
already
saved
cos
the
mains
were
done
wrongly.
It
took
us
2
hours
to
finish
the
meal,
40
mins
wait
for
the
mains
to
come.
Hence
why
I
didn't
send
the
dishes
back,
I
simply
swapped.
It
was
really
disappointing
to
see
this
standard
of
cooking
with
the
face
of
Gordon
Ramsey
attached.
Needless
to
say
will
not
come
back
again,
or
go
to
any
of
Ramsey's
restaurant
in
future.
I
do
wonder
if
celebrity
chefs
actually
care
for
all
the
businesses
they
open
and
put
their
face
to,
and
hence
their
reputation.
On
the
way
to
all
these
business
expansions,
have
u,
Mr.
Ramsey,
forgotten
the
reason
why
you
became
a
chef?
