👍👍 Great place for vegetarian Indian cuisine. Plenty of options, which in a way, are enough to make one indecisive. Ranging from pizzas and pastas to dosas and idlis, parathas and sandwiches. Awesome Awesome restaurant. We were told that it's actually a chain of restaurants. Back in India also there are many restaurants of this name. A pure vegetarian Indian cuisine restaurant. Awesome taste of food. All type of food is there Mexican, Italian and Chinese....but main Awesome is the huge options of Indian dishes. From south Indian snacks to North Indian main course...from Maharashtrian street food to Gujrati thali...you just name it....from pizzas, pastas to wada pav and misal. Great just great 👍🏻 👌🏼. Cleanliness in restaurant and also in washrooms 🚻. Service is awesome with polite and prompt serving staff. Special Mention of Mr. Kedar and Miss. Shweta....both were very polite and helpful. I will urge all Indians visiting Singapore to go to ShivSagar restaurant if you want homely taste of food.....👌🏼😎👍🏻

Great place for vegetarian Indian cuisine. Plenty of options, which in a way, are enough to make one indecisive. Ranging from pizzas and pastas to dosas and idlis, parathas and sandwiches. We had a three course meal, starting with cream of tomato and monchow soups. The monchow soup was probably the weakest link in our order. We moved to chaats and all the three: bhel, dahi puri and paapdee chaat were yummy. The sada dosa and topi dosa were awesome. The cheese pasta was good too. All in all, reminds one of the typical Mumbai south Indian veg outlet. We had tried cheese toast sandwich and fried rice earlier too and they were also delicious. Will be a regular here whenever we happen to be in little India.

Restaurant is in big space and being vegetarian restaurant we saw alcohol is also being served. Having ample space people favour this place as this is very near and opp of Mustaffa exit 5 where u can keep all ur shopping carts and enjoii ur food. Menu has huge variety, but wait!! Seeing so much of food options we got excited and were ready to order but came to know most of our expected items are not being served. On top of this the service is slow and taste is not as expected. Kashmiri pulav was made as if kismis and panner is mixed in jeera rice. Kadai paneer too was not tasty. Havent tried pav bhaji, saw many ppl ordering tht. Bill was miscalculated and orders were mixed with other tables. Although price is low as compared to other restaurants along this road.

It is just opposite Mustafa center so after a hectic shopping one can go and dine or just have tea. We ordered masala chai, cream of tomato soup, plain naan and Indian thali. Masala chai was good. We really enjoyed indian thali and plain naan. Every item in the thali was super delicious. Since thali had only 2 chappati, we ordered yummy plain naan. Tomato soup didnt look appetizing but was very tasty. Service could be fast but food was really worth the wait. Excellent food, highly recommend their thali, naan and tomato soup 👍👍👍

Very good vegetarian restaurant in Little India, food taste is very good. Jain food is very good, slightly pricey overall plus addition of 10% Service charges makes it a bit steeper, however great option for Vegetarian and Jain food eaters. Very close to Farrer park MRT station (check exit gate appropriately, else it could be a long walk). Accepts Cards for payments

Authentic taste of the original establishment. Eating here brings back memories. A must visit for all who love Mumbai fast food. A suggestion to the management, pls keep the restroom spotless. Yes, it's equal responsibility of the customers as well as the management, however, her in Singapore, even at hawker centres the restrooms are spotless. This does not take away any credit to the team for the culinary experience, friendliness and professionalism of the staff. Welcomed and made us feel at home.

Had punjabi thali. Taste ia good, staff was ready to give roti / poori as per nu option even at 3:30 pm. Being south indian as per my feeling Quantity of rice (Basmathi) a bit less. Punjab buttermilk was not included.

This has always been a go-to place for having delicious Pav Bhaji. They do serve many other delicious Indian chats as well. They used to serve Misal Pav previously, but not sure about the availability these days. Pav bhaji & Dry fruit / Almond milkshake are my favourites here.

Good tasty Indian food, More towards West and north Indian vegetarian food. Thali are ok for 1 however order Ala carte if you are in group. Chat platter is not good compared to other restaurants in little India for same price. Quantity is fine, overall good experience.

I don't know why the reviews here are so negative but everytime I come here I never get disappointed. I've ordered various pastas here along with hakka noodles and they taste so great! Their service seems fine, usually never had any problems with it.

I loved the thali here...it came with three curries representing north indian, gujarati and maharashtrian cuisine, kadhi and khichdi !! A very well balanced menu with good variety, the items were delicious, not too spicy and heavy on the stomach, simple like home cooked food...will definitely visit again!!

Its a pathetic restaurant. Went there with my family and ordered both south Indian and north Indian food. Haven't had such tasteless food in a while. Dosas were tiny and totally unfresh. Every dish in North Indian thali was cold and tasteless. Not to mention the pathetic and totally unfriendly service. Avoid this place at all cost.

For someone who’s grown up visiting Shiv Sagar in India, this is the worst ever experience. It’s very unclean, AC is not working and the worst part is the staff. They don’t care. You can keep trying to get their attention, but they don’t care! And guess what, they charge service charge without service, which Krishna the manager refused to waive off.

Plus We tried the Mysore masala dosa and it was one of the best we have had in Singapore Minus The cutlery set on the table was dirty We ordered coffee and had to wait longer than masala dosa. The service was poor The ambience is not great Better to order take away than dine in.

Food is ok, not very great . They need to improve a lot on ambience , service and guest handling . The waiters need to attend to guest and ensure guests are comfortable. Every time we need to remind them of the order or clear the plates , bring cutlery . Over all a big no no . Very disappointing.

Great place with great staff. Food is good, but quantity of indian curries is on the smaller side. We have had no problem asking the staff to make the dishes vegan. South Indian fare is also very authentic and tasty. Menu is expansive. We got vegan Kaju katli during Diwali which was just fantastic. If not for a slightly premium pricing, I'd have given it 5 stars.

Great place to eat if you’re a tourist looking for a vegetarian restaurant… Pav Bhaji was not the type you get in restaurants in India but still. Missal was great recommended. The Best among few pure vegetarian restaurants i went in at Singapore. Best Pure Vegetarian and Jain food, Best Service, Best Ambience. This the first place in the world i found asking and take care of which kind of jain food you like to have, just without onion, garlic and potato or purest jain without any kind of root vegetable, carrots, beetroot etc and serve according your need. Otherwise no restaurants take such particular care even in India. Thanks for your presense in Singapore other places in world and serving huge pure vegetarian and jain community.

Ordered their Gujarati thali for the first time. Absolutely horrendous. No flavours, nothing gujarati about the food and an absolute rip off. In addition to the thali, I ordered the Rassa Aloo under their Gujarati menu, and honestly it just tasted of oil and burnt garlic. I have had some very good Gujarati food experiences in Singapore, but this by far has been the worst. Pity cause back in Mumbai, this was one of my fav eating spots. SG outlet is shambolic.

I had a very bad experience while having Chaat at this place. There was a string of dishwashing scrub in my Sev Puri Chaat, this was extremely disappointed and after that when we complained to waitress , there was no face off with manager and they charged as normal. It seems they were not at all guily what they served. I went with very high hopes and I had special craving for Chaat which turned into disappointment. this place is unhygienic.

The food was below average. Shiv Sagar is a brand I know and trust from Mumbai and expected to provide same quality of food and service. But was left extremely disappointed. 1. We ordered Jain food after confirming more than once that all items in the dish would be Jain. But when the dish was served, the waiter informed that one of the components in the dish was non-jain. 2. It took them 40 mins to serve a Mysore masala Sosa. We were 6 of us and ordered 6 dishes. Each of the dish was served one by one and it didn't feel like we were out to eat dinner together 3. Hakka noodles was overloaded with black pepper and had no other flavour. When asked we were told very curtly that's how it's made. Extremely poor and delayed service and sub-par food. Over priced and over rated

Food is ok. Ambience is ok. Service not so ok . They have a big list of soupes in their menu, if you count then anywhere between 10 to 15. However if you order then waitress will tell they have only Monchow, hot n sour, mix veg n tomato. So why you are putting such a big list in your menu ??? So we had to choose one among three, we gave a shot to most familiar monchow soup. Finally when it came after 20 mins it was more like tomato soup. As if someone has put few spoons of monchow into half empty bowl of tomato. Quantity was less too. We then ordered mushroom dhaniya masala and roti. This was good. Rotis were soft and mushroom masala was cooked well in spices. To finish we ordered Shiv Sagar Special Sizzler. It was ok, not great. However Sizzler being served in hot plate and kind of dish which you don't make and serve in your home, we requested waitress to serve in plate. Which she immediately refused. Next time I would spend my 50 bucks wisely and opt for a better alternative.

****** BEWARE: HUGE AMOUNT OF SODA IS USED IN FOOD****** avoid going of possible. This especially has ties with tourist tour operators. They are not bothered of customer satisfaction. The service is good but food is awful. Stomach starts bloating after 1/2 naan and paneer, daal. Half way into home, feels gas all over. Sleeplessness and feeling of extreme hunger but unable to eat anything due to heavy gas. We are local Singaporeans and have been to better hotels with great food. We do not have any aerated drinks ever, alcohol based drinks that day. This was on a normal casual weekend outing with family (no exertion or tiredness that may have contributed to sickness).
