One
of
those
rare
jackpot
experiences
where
the
service
is
as
phenomenal
as
the
food.
Had
a
birthday
dinner
here
for
4
and
tried
their
semi-buffet
special
menu
with
free-flowing
appetizers.
Pretty
much
every
one
of
the
appetizers
were
a
hit,
striking
delicate
yet
perfect
balances
in
flavours.
The
tomato
soup
was
fresh
and
somewhat
sweet
without
being
metallic;
the
Brussels
sprouts'
yuzu
vinaigrette
was
refreshing
and
paired
well
with
the
sprouts;
the
clams
were
well-cooked
with
a
surprisingly
addictive
sauce.
My
favourite
was
the
pate:
a
delightful
liver
and
truffle
pate
which
was
a
perfect
match
with
the
focaccia
bread.
Mains
were
great;
the
rigatoni
was
perfectly
cooked
al
dente
and
the
oxtail
sauce
was
hearty.
The
ribs
were
also
soft
and
tender
with
a
classic
umami
and
sweet
sauce.
The
dessert
we
tried
(a
cherry
cake
dome)
had
a
perfect
mix
of
sweetness
from
the
cake
and
sourness
from
the
cherries.
I
could
go
on
about
the
dishes
we
had
if
I
wanted
to.
But
the
reason
why
this
place
went
above
and
beyond
is
for
the
service.
All
the
chefs
who
served
us
here
were
super
friendly
and
most
importantly
clearly
passionate
about
what
they
do
and
to
the
restaurant.
Eric
in
particular,
the
man
who
has
a
man-bun,
went
pretty
much
above
and
beyond
in
not
only
explaining
every
appetizer
that
was
presented
to
us,
but
also
the
history
behind
some
of
them,
the
fact
that
they
are
made
without
additional
preservatives
or
sodium/sugar,
and
the
background
behind
the
restaurant's
inception.
Hearing
him
talk
about
the
food
here
was
the
highlight
of
my
day;
please
give
him
a
raise!
Overall
a
wonderful
little
spot
with
a
great
ambiance
where
the
food
is
worth
every
single
penny.
Chefs
here
are
committed
to
serving
food
the
best
it
can
be
and
deliver
on
every
front.
Will
come
back
here
again
for
sure!
