Had dinner with my close friends at this restaurant last Saturday. We were attracted by their French-inspired semi-buffet special menu. I personally love their "house-made french pate of truffle & chicken liver" paired with sourdough! (Unlimited servings too 😊) Perfect combination! All the entrée we ordered are perfectly cooked too! We ended our night with their signature dessert "Good Arvo" and "Spunky" -- So GOOD MUST TRY!! The tea pairing adds a delightful touch! Highly recommend this restaurant and I can see myself returning very soon!

Dropped by after Friday night dinner for dessert session. Quite some empty seats available. Not a lot of dessert options left. Tried tea paring and cocktail paring as the minimum order is one set for each diner. Yea was quite fragrant and just nice with the sweets. Cocktail is a little bit too sweet to my taste. Staff was nice and patient as they would explain the ingredients and attention was adequate. Though they mixed up our orders… Ambiance is pretty funky and romantic. A little bit pricy but would be worth it if you’re looking for romantic dinner and Instagramable desserts :)

If I only had their desserts, it will definitely be 5/5 without a doubt!! They have the best desserts in Singapore! But their mains were a letdown especially the mushroom pasta. We couldn’t finish it as there was a very pungent and unpleasant smell and nil truffle taste at all. Updated review: Just wanted to add that we informed the staff regarding the unpleasant smell of the mushroom pasta however no immediate actions were taken. Nonetheless the staff was friendly and overall we still enjoyed our meal especially the desserts!

This must be the hidden gem of Singapore. A local friend took us and the flavours of all their dishes were simply on another level. In other cities - places like this come with a Michelin star but in Singapore the competition is probably too hot. If you get the chance, don’t miss this place!

The decoration is very lovely with floral design. I came here for lunch and the food was amazing. You should try the broccoli (a la carte menu). Their desserts are the best and sold out very quickly. Such a hidden gem in town!

Probably one of the best kept secrets in Singapore. Amazing desserts with perfect pairing of tea or cocktail. Mains are great too as MaS pride themselves for high quality, all-natural ingredients from all over the world. Staff are some of the friendliest you'll find. Their festival meals are really something to look forward to every holiday.

Had a wonderful Valentine's Day dinner last night. The quality of the food is very good. Ingredients were very fresh and specially sourced. Loved that they were either organic or wild-caught too. Ambience was lovely and service staff was friendly and helpful especially Karen. Thank you so much for the memorable night and looking forward to go again to try the other menu.

Chanced upon this hidden gem while searching for a nice dinner place. Lucky us, had the whole place to ourselves and enjoyed our time there. Food was nothing short of amazing and my favourites were the burrata and cauliflower! You have to try that! Thanks to Eric and James for being such friendly hosts! Will definitely drop by again! ☺️

High quality ingredients, exceptional service. Ambience is great for a romantic date night, and the friendly crew made me felt absolutely like home, sharing stories and passion for life and food. Absolute hidden gem, one of the best in Singapore. Fancy dinner, good value. Sadly, we only found this gem on our second last night in Singapore before we had to fly back to Australia. Will definitely revisit when we’re back in Singapore, and I promise this will be our first stop. Thank you for the wonderful dinner and hospitality! See ya later!

Had an amazing time at Mad about Sucre. Quality of food is just on a next level, everything is procured from the best producers around the world. They are also able to cater to dietary restrictions (gluten free, vegan, dairy free etc). When you think about mad about sucre, you’d typically think about desserts first - but honestly the food is amazing too. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience and look forward to dining there again.

Visited with my family long time ago and came back again after all these years and the dessert and tea is still as unforgettable. This is what you get when the owners are passionate about their craft. The quality of the dessert is top notch and I will definitely visit again for their mains. I hope Mad Abour Sucre will be around for more years to come!

Wonderful concept of mini-buffet and great for anyone who enjoys a variety of appetizers. Our favorites are the handpicked Alaskan crab meat in tomato and pesto soup, homemade chicken liver & truffle, French chicken bak kwa meat coin and their Lo Hei w/sour plum & yuzu dressing. For mains, we had the lamb shank and oxtail stew which were done to perfection and the meat just falls off the bones. To end the meal, we tried the Tai He dessert where the fragrant Almond biscuit base cuts through the Rose mousse with real cherry and the handcrafted Koi topping. Really refreshing and this was paired with Jasmine and Morocco mint tea. A delightful meal with great hospitality!

Mad About Sucre is one of my fav places to go for a good meal and desserts. The menu always has so much thought put into it, and food is always so flavourful with quality ingredients. The burnt cauliflower is one of my top favs. The dessert with tea pairing is good way to end off the meal. Not forgetting the lovely team that always takes the effort to explain the food and cakes to us. Do check out their 10th anniv offerings featuring their menu highlights of the past years!

A treat for the tastebuds & a cosy environment with friendly warm service. We went there for a bday celebration & were lucky to have Eric take the time to explain all the dishes and made us leave with full happy bellies. The deserts are not to be missed too! Will definitely be coming back for more!

Smoked Gourmet Gammon Ham This is the Nth year that my aunt has ordered this for me and my family and it is the only X’mas goodie that my family looked forward to every year. Even my 8yo son (who can’t even remember his multiplication tables that I made him memorise daily) can remember this ham from the past year and jumped with joy when he went with me to collect the ham. The ham is humongous. It is so flavorful that we didn’t even need to dip in the sauce that came with the ham. (I must clarify that the sauce is delicious too!) One bite and you will be able to tell the efforts and love being put in by the chef to prepare it. Highly recommended!!!

Famous for their dessert sweet, turn out that they are just as good for their sugar-free and sodium-free French organic food, meticulously sourced from Japan, Spain, Nordic areas. Well presented by friendly and knowledgeable staff.

I thought it was a bit pricey till I tried the dessert and now I am a fan! The tea pairing was also amazing. It had roses and lavender in it. The desert we got was the Kakao. Gluten, dairy, egg free with hints of Kalamansi, bourbon and dark chocolate! It was "magnifique" definitely must recommend dessert place!

Our friend brought a few desserts over claiming that he’s been in love with Mad About Sucre since uni days for they’re not overly sweet, always seasonal and hence always with an element of surprise, AND sometimes offer gluten free and lactose free option because they use lactose free milk! We were soooo blown away by the desserts today, truly unique blend of fruits and cream, and may we say that every single piece was art itself!

Ingredients are definitely super fresh and made the food tasty. Particularly loved the cod and octopus. We visited mainly for the desserts however at the time of our visit they were serving seasonal desserts and hence couldn’t try those that we saw online which was quite a bummer

Fresh, natural and premium ingredients are used to show the true flavour of ingredients. Highly recommend for those pursuing perfect fusion of natural favour. Dessert is other Must Try menu, beautiful presentation and perfectly defined texture. Personal favourite is San Domingue, the combination of dark chocolate, rum, and vanilla is masterpiece for chocolate lover and can even make people who don't like desserts fall in love with it.

We had the Le Tasse and the San Dominique, with their respective tea pairings (Rose + Lavender, and Jasmine + Mint). The cakes were beautifully designed, with unique flavours that mostly came together well. We really liked the Rose and Lavender tea, and how it complemented the Le Tasse cake really well. The San Dominique was delicious, the rum really accentuated the taste and richness of the chocolate, and the plantain was sweet and tasted perfectly well with the chocolate. Service was great - the dishes were explained individually and we felt well taken care of throughout. We could really tell that the staff were passionate for the unique dessert creations and the concept of tea pairings with dessert too! Would definitely be back to try the mains, and the other cakes.

Chanced upon their mousse cakes when I passed by the restaurant. Luckily the cakes stayed intact throughout the 40 mins bus ride home. The cakes were certainly worth the price as they were delicious and unique. Shout out to the friendly wait staff who recommended these two flavours as well.

We recently ordered Mad About Sucre's Christmas package for a gathering at our house, and it exceeded all our expectations. Typically, we struggle to finish the food we order, but this was the first time we polished off every single bite as a first timer with them! The ham was a standout—absolutely delicious, not dry, and perfectly balanced in terms of saltiness. It was a pleasant surprise that left us wanting more. The shepherd pie was another highlight—juicy, flavorful, and truly satisfying. Overall, Mad About Sucre's Christmas package made our gathering a memorable one. Kudos to the team for delivering such delightful and scrumptious dishes. We'll definitely be returning for more culinary delights.

We were lucky to secure a reservation on Christmas eve for 10-course European inspired Christmas menu. Every dish was well curated and had an interestin mix of flavors. The restaurant was generous with the serving portion, and it can really fill the stomach! The staffs were friendly and willing to share more information about just anything too! It was a wonderful experience for us and we certainly enjoy the food. Would like to extend the appreciation to all the staffs for keeping everything as cozy and hearty as it could be. Kudos!

One of those rare jackpot experiences where the service is as phenomenal as the food. Had a birthday dinner here for 4 and tried their semi-buffet special menu with free-flowing appetizers. Pretty much every one of the appetizers were a hit, striking delicate yet perfect balances in flavours. The tomato soup was fresh and somewhat sweet without being metallic; the Brussels sprouts' yuzu vinaigrette was refreshing and paired well with the sprouts; the clams were well-cooked with a surprisingly addictive sauce. My favourite was the pate: a delightful liver and truffle pate which was a perfect match with the focaccia bread. Mains were great; the rigatoni was perfectly cooked al dente and the oxtail sauce was hearty. The ribs were also soft and tender with a classic umami and sweet sauce. The dessert we tried (a cherry cake dome) had a perfect mix of sweetness from the cake and sourness from the cherries. I could go on about the dishes we had if I wanted to. But the reason why this place went above and beyond is for the service. All the chefs who served us here were super friendly and most importantly clearly passionate about what they do and to the restaurant. Eric in particular, the man who has a man-bun, went pretty much above and beyond in not only explaining every appetizer that was presented to us, but also the history behind some of them, the fact that they are made without additional preservatives or sodium/sugar, and the background behind the restaurant's inception. Hearing him talk about the food here was the highlight of my day; please give him a raise! Overall a wonderful little spot with a great ambiance where the food is worth every single penny. Chefs here are committed to serving food the best it can be and deliver on every front. Will come back here again for sure!
