πŸ‘πŸ‘ Tried the Hokkien Mee at Centrepoint Basement, Malaysia Boleh, and it was absolutely delectable! While the Char Kway Teow taste was so-so, their menu provides a variety of choices. Always a fan of Malaysian food! The place is clean and inviting. People often mention rice, good, claypot, taste, kway, stall, time, char, teow, chicken,

The Penang char kway teow has wok hei and really good . The staff here has attitude , the management has to step up on training . Penang prawn mee broth is nice but ingredients seems dry and shrunk in size attributed to repeated cooking .

Utterly disappointed by the portion of meat given by the roast meat stall. Meat portions were very little and thinly sliced for a $9.50 portion. We also ordered the claypot chicken rice, and the rice was overly 'wet'. The Malaysia Chiak Branch at Tampines 1 has a much better standards. Will not be back again. 2 stars because of the cleanliness and nice deco/art direction.

Its terrible here, the cleaners clear the trays and utensils and literally SLAMs them into a dirty box. Its so noisy you cant eat in peace. Imagine whacking a dirty bowl really hard into a big black box filled with dirty bowls. Horrible place my first and last time here

The staff here were not too friendly, from both the store owners to the cleaning staff. The food wise was okay, we tried the chicken rice as well as the fried kway teow / carrot cake. Both were decent, feels good quality but was not spectacular in particular.

Cheap place to eat @ Orchard Rd. Passable Malaysian style hawker food. Pleasant dining environment, strong AC. Plenty of seats. Price is reasonable @ $5.50 - $6.00 Not bad.

Service wise. depends on who's working that day. young stuffs-good service and take effort in presenting the food nicely. PRC uncle-doesnt look like he wants to be here. Singaporean uncle- okay, middle. Always can hear the stewards and dish washer uncles complaining. maybe it'd seriously understaffed. Food portion in the beginning was quite okay for its price tag when it first opened. but gradually over time it became lesser untill it turned into what you see in the photo. this will be the last time I'm eating here after I post these photos.

Local home Malaysian hawker food. One can start with vegetarian popiah, transit to an oyster omelet, prawn mee, or Penang Char Kway Teow, and top them all off with an Ice Kachang or Chendol dessert accompanied by Iced Coffee. I love this place. Takeaway food today for me as it's packed to the brim with Sunday shoppers.

Chili ban mian nothing special, in fact the noodle of the ban mian is thick. Although it’s smooth texture, but I expected it too be chewy. Sauce also not outstanding with the chili, can skip this stall and try other stall. You can easily get better ban mian outside at hawker stall.

Reasonable price food court with varieties of dishes to choose from. Tried the Char Kway Teow and Clay pot chicken rice, and both of them taste great. Not sure why this place got such low rating scores. It's a hawker center so don't expect services but this should be anticipated.

Great place to dine in. The choices is a lot. Can get very crowded during dinning time. Have to wait for a while before getting a seat. Food is affordable and worth the amount being paid. Customer service is excellent because the waitress is attentive and fast. See to your needs. Highly recommended place for the family to dine in.

First visit here as we were looking for a pit stop to get some drinks & rest. Ipoh white coffee was as good as the other outlets and we were satisfied with the drinks! All in all a pretty good place for decent local drinks / food in town.

Service here is really bad like other reviewers said. First time ordered fried kway tiao request for no bean sprout being told cannot be done. Although taste good but the service/attitude was horrible. The claypot noodle taste ok, the sauce was too sweet and I couldn't finish it

Many stalls serving Malaysia food here. Prices slightly higher due to location. Nam kee one of the popular stalls here. The other noodle stall at the end of the food court is popular as well. 5.50 for my portion, everything is good except noodles which are overcooked. Very crowded at lunch peak hours.

Have to agree with some of the reviewers here. The cleaners slam the utensils and talk way too loudly. The fried kway teow staff has attitude. I stood in front and the fella just ignored. So I left and ordered the claypot rice. The young man disappeared for the longest time before he gave us our change. We then indicated we would like to purchase the drinks that came with the meal. The fella directed us to another store some distance away. And never gave us receipts. So we hard to make a second trip because the drinks stall asked for proof of paurchase. First and last time at this lousy place. Not happy to work, then don't. Customers are not responsible for your perceived lot in life.

Only order their butter kaya toast, with less appetizing looks and sad. But it taste way better than it looks. And order the chendol durian, looks fantastic on the picture menu, but comes with a small and less pretty presentation. Taste quite nice and fresh, and the durian is really sweet. Not really impressive with the service from the stall staff.

Ate from the Mee Hoon Kueh stall and dessert stall (see photos). Compare to what you get in Malaysia, they taste just ok.

Shiok! I have always admired Malaysian food, of course this is more like a franchise stall not necessarily malaysian food but close enough. Claypot rice, BKT and oyster pancake all very goood

I’ve dined at this particular food court a few times. So far it’s always been a pleasant experience. Although the place is almost perpetually quite crowded, there are always seats available somehow. The claypot chicken rice, char kuey teow, rojak, char siew roast meat and chendol were all pretty good. The yin yang si is one of the best. Overall the place is bright and cheery, and there are lots of choices of food. A great place for a low cost meal option in town.

I ordered the large char kuay teow with additional egg. While the picture looks appetising, the taste was very disappointing. The char kuay teow had a distinct lack of wok hey and not seasoned well. Definitely not worth the price of $8.50.

Worst service experience encountered in Singapore. The younger male staff basically represents the worst a service attitude can achieve. Slam bowls, shout at customers and menacing stare.. either he’s the boss or out to destroy the business. I hope Malaysia Boleh will do something about this as it’s definitely affecting the food court business as well.

This place is one of their newer branches. We got lunch from a claypot restaurant and char kway yeow restaurant. The portion size for the char kway teow was a bit disappointing being that it was the same price as the claypot rice. Both dishes were average in terms of taste and flavor but at least it's filling.

Plenty of food options inside Centrepoint mall. Ordered the noodle. Delicious and affordable. Claypot rice looks nice too. Some tables have ordered cendol. Will visit again.

Food did not taste as nice as other outlets, maybe because of lunch time but the Penang coffee was very nice. Had char kway teow, ginger sesame chicken, lor mai kai, only lor mai kai was nice and soft!

The Chendol was above expectation. Tasty yet doesn't feel an overdose of sweetness. I usually purchase the Yi Mian.

The place is good for a quick meal with a wide variety. Had the Chilli Ban Mian which came with thicker than usual noodles - tasted just like any other dry ban mian but nothing extraordinary. Portion size is also a little smaller for me.

The space has improved somehow since our previous visits in 2019 and 2022. Not too much choices but they serve quality dishes from their paos and dumplings, spicy noodles, claypots and drinks. My favorites are the Chili Ban Mian, claypot chicken rice, paos, kueh pie tee, and popiah. *Don't forget the Chili and grab at least 2 refreshing tea drinks for the πŸ”₯

Update: we had food poisoning last night, 22/12. The only thing we all had same yesterday was the curry fish/pork. No matter what, definitely not going back there again β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”- Worst laksa I ever had, maybe I didn’t check properly, this might be vegan laksa, there was no meat, no seafood, not even egg, just noodles and vegetables Fried fish with curry was dry, not enough rice, boil cabbages were awful

Simple local food at an affordable price at central area We ordered from a few separate stores… loved to try variety of food. The food were all tasty but only comment was that the panmee was small portion compared to normal food courts. Nonetheless good place to get your local tastebud fix!

Simple cheap food with lots of choices. The fried pork chop curry is worth a try with moist cooked down vegetable that cleanse the pallet and also makes the meal less heavy. Lots of seating beyond what meets the eye in the back but with surprisingly amount of people that comes earlier than normal lunch time.

Worst claypot chicken rice I've ever had. Just some pieces of chicken (with a lot of chicken skin), rice, and sauce being kept warm in a claypot. The rice wasn't even close to developing a crust.

A bit too salty for me personally, but considering the price and the place, this place is good for quick meals.

Rojak serve cold and all cut in big size. Service is worst, ask for you tiao rojak but given big plate rojak. Kopi is like drainage water, not much Kopi taste.

Newly opened foodcourt with plenty of seats. Teh C is such a big cup costing only $1.80. Penang fried kway teow is well fried but popiah is a big let down. This place is fully packed after 11.30am so if you want to enjoy your food please come early.

Absolutely horrible service, especially from this woman. Arrogant and horrible, had the blatant audacity to show attitude to customers even when it was their fault in messing the orders up. Came here for the first time today and tried to ordered a breakfast set. Had the cashier roll his eyes on me and even switched with another person to take my order instead. When i ordered an ice creamm thick toast, they gave me a kaya one instead. Exchanging the food was also super difficult with how aggressive they treated me. The woman argued, said and i quote "hurry up and hand it back lah". I have never felt so disrespected although i tried to be polite throughout. Seriously a horrible, outright disgusting experience. Hope someone higher up would teach her some manners on working in the service line.
