Crowded joint on a Saturday evening. Came here to support the live singing by Skye and Sebastian (only highlight of the evening). We sat outside but could hear the music because they placed a speaker outside as well. Food is so so but understandable since this is a pub. Nearest MRT station is Novena.

First time to come here 7 Tavern for dinner and drink chill with good friends and wife. Located along goldhill plaza near novena Square. Good customer service from waitresses and there happens to have live band (solo player with guitar) but hey it's been awhile since we get this kind of environment. You can also opt for songs you want (english haha). He sang and played guitar very well. Eg, my way, ed sheran etc. Usual chill with red wine bottle shared amongst 3. Their popcorn chicken is really good. The rest are decent too, pumpkin carrot cakes, hokkien mee, mid joint chicken wings and fried rice. Cheers!

Exceeding expectations for bar grub. A well executed potent chicken herbal soup, moist and flavourful Hokkien mee and crispy cuttlefish. $10 Heineken pints nightly without the need to keep timing. A friend brought me and the hospitable owners definitely made us felt homely. No wonder there are so many regulars. My third visit and each time I try different food items. Kudos to the chef for keeping things novel.

What an amazing place filled with such warmth, great service and fantastic food. The chicken herbal soup was absolutely SPOT ON, bursting with robust flavours that go so well with a bowl of rice. The staff and owners are welcoming, making this place feels so much more than just a place to have food and drinks. It truly feels like coming home to a safe place. Will definitely return to try their ever-changing seasonal menu!

1st time there after being asled to join since last year. You got to experience it to feel how much fun everyone had with the live band on thur and fri. Packed and all happiness!! Everyone singing along like concert. Mostly regulars. Not easy to get table if no reservation I guessed ..

Came on a quiet Wednesday night. The staff are very friendly. This bar is good to hang for drinks and all. It’ll get a little loud when the band plays (they’re only playing from Thursday night onwards and the bar will be really popping the).

Good service good food! Drinks can be better - had the lychee martini and seems a bit diluted. Live band started at 8:15 pm and the place is full! Do make reservations if you are coming on weekends.

A quiet, humble bar with good food and music :)

1st time heading there to listen to the band and it was without a doubt, FANTASTIC. He sings 80s music which is great as i am from the 80s. I also recommend the wok hei hokkien mee if you are hungry, i was recommended to try the herbal chicken which is supposedly a gorgeous dish. Next time then. You are recommended to reserve tables in advance i was lucky and my friend had a table.

Nice cosy environment with friendly staff! Enjoyed the dining experience. Chilli crab potato wedges is a must try!

UPDATE Owner’s response below is not true - still blasting the music through outdoor speakers. I will keep reporting you guys. And yes, you are breaking the terms of your license - just read it and you will see. Breaking the terms of their entertainment license by blasting VERY LOUD live music through speakers outside of their premises at late hours not letting people in nearby condo to sleep. Let’s see what the police has to say about that

Good food, good service when place isnt packed. Fantastic band. Great music. Some customers wif bad behaviour(unable to hold their drinks n are loud n disruptive) should be thrown out or outside and allow others who appreciate the band/music to sit closer to the entrance.

Very cozy and I love the ambience here!!! Food is really delicious and I wouold recommend their crispy pork belly, hokkien mee and their Oysters are really very fresh! I would definitely always come back again!!! Recommend Bar to go too!!!

Amazing live music on a Saturday night and the food is good. Great vibe and definitely a place to return to.

Nice place but we experienced a very hostile treatment. We came as first customer at 4pm when the place is open but at about 5.45pm were we told that the table we sat on is booked by someone else and we need to move somewhere else by 7pm. I was all ok with but we ask for an explanation why we was not told before. The guys who was attending us was very nice and explaining to us but one other guys who we think the staff suddenly barge in and ask “any problem here” with a very rude tone. I was still being nice and told him that all is fine just that we were asking for some explanation that’s all but he gave us the stare of somewhat makes us feel like we are not wanted. I nearly loose my cool but who wants to deal with an idiot so we just left the place. I hope the management will look into this so that it doesn’t happen to someone else. Such a nice place but because one staff attitude changed our view overall.

Best place to relax n darts.

Super friendly people and staff. Food is delicious and affordable. They have a great selection of beverages for the entire family. I bring my son on weekends to relax and play Darts. Many strong darters here and friendly enough to teach the beginners. They also have a live band playing twice a week. Very good overall experience.

Cold 🍺 beer and hard liquor with very good food par excellent. One item cannot miss is the fresh big oysters from Japan !

Very good foods and drinks at reasonable prices. The fresh Japanese oysters are a must. The lobster beehoon and claypot mutton soup is heavenly.

1st time here and feels homely. Everyone is friendly to each other. I would say a place where strangers connect.
