Came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Disappointed with the food and service. Food: I think we ordered quite a variety of food for the night since we were in a big group. Did not like the rosti and octopus as they seemed to be too ‘wet’ for my liking. Sashimi was not fresh and other sushi were average or below average. The skewers were also meh. Only thing which was nice was the bacon wrapped scallop skewer, may be a little too salty but it was the best thing I ate that night. Service: The service was not so good as there were only 2 waiters serving the entire restaurant. I understand they can be frustrated but the restaurant is not cheap and we just don’t expect this treatment from them at all. I know they explained that our skewers would take 30 mins but in actual fact it took 1.5 hours. Then when we asked for the skewers after 1 hour, we were rudely told off by the waitress🥲 Conclusion: Would not return and do not try this place. Not worth the money at all.

Came in here for some drinks and chill. The drinks were great (4.5 stars), ambience was amazing and the japanese concept was rather authentic (5 stars) the price is reasonable given the prime location (3.5 stars). The waiters were friendly and service was prompt, waited about 4-5 minutes for our drinks (4.5 stars for the service).

The waiter’s standard (esp politeness)keep dropping every time visiting, I went bi-monthly. Pls provide more training to your staff about omotenashi, make your restaurant proud, not just for the sick of delivering food from the kitchen to table. Food standard is stable though.

Excellent Sushi. Fresh and very tasty. The ebi tempura were very yummy. The Ramen Soup was fantastic. We'll come again. The restsurant is right on the Singapore river and has a cosy atmosphäre.

Great place next to the river. We had two Sapporo Japan beers. They tasted perfect. 👌 The waitresses were kind. Only the prices were high and there is a 10% fee for service that was not mentioned anywhere before.

Ambience of the place was great. Service was a little tad on a Friday night, food was served rather slowly, but guess it makes a place perfect for catching up with your friends. Food itself was not too shabby, except the order that food was served was a little odd. We had Gyoza > Garlic Fried Rice > Steak > Sashimi Salad > Chicken meatball skewer Gyoza was crispy at the bottom, nice and soft on the top. Garlic fried rice perfectly matched the steak but was unfortunately served way ahead of the steak. Beef was done perfectly except the cut of the Australian beef wasn’t really worth the price tag. Sashimi salad was fresh and refreshing, the dressing had a wasabi kick in it. Not a fan of the chicken meat ball skewer. Overall a rather nice place to chill in.

First of all, we need to share that the outdoor area is PET-FRIENDLY (dog friendly) which we were super pleased with. The area was clean, no food remnants where we were dining. The staff were attentive to our needs and checked in on how the food was and shared food that accommodated to my dietary preference. Food was ok, and they serve generous portions. All in all, great place, great service, good food and perfect to unwind with your pups if you’re in town!

Tomo never lets us down. It has a varied menu of dishes, which are all consistently excellent. The sashimi is fresh and delicious and cut in very generous chunks. Nice ambience by the river too.

Enjoyed seating by the riverside. Good view. Came with some friends here during 1st week of covid relaxed measures where dining is able to allow up to 10pax. Servers are seen pretty overwhelmed but could tell they are trying their best to deliver. Orders took some time to come but within reasonable waiting duration. What I love best is the garlic rice. Please make reservations to secure a seat either indoors or outdoors.

Very nice ambiance, with a river view. Just next to the river. And good food. Mostly this is Japanese cuisine inside. I ordered original ramen and i though the portion won't make it for me. But wow! It's just like a jumbo one. All the staffs are very helpful I came alone so I asked one of them to take pic of me too.

Sashimi is nice, okonomiyaki is good but a bit oily, the avocado dragon sushi roll is ok, skewer is just really average and the yakisoba is very salty. All in all, it's very pricey and food is not really worth it's price. The ambience is good but the service is very messy.

Spacious, chilling. Food portion is quite big and also very delicious. We ordered grilled beef sticks with raddish topping (taste a bit sour quite appetizing), oden (关东煮), yakisoba (fried soba noodles) and seafood okonomiyaki (Japanese pancake).

Had a great dinner here yesterday. Service was prompt and food was above average. The salmon sushi roll is a must try and seafood okomoyaki. The yakitori sticks are ok but would say prices are on the steeper side. Could give the salmon mentai a miss as it was hard and dry.

Food looks okay, but seems not very fresh for raw fish, three out of five diarrhea after that (one didn’t eat raw fish), and the environment can improve as well, smells not very good and there are many fruit fly while eating, and some bugs under table, and not cheap as well, overall not satisfied!

If my friends have plan to enjoy at Clarke Quay, I would like to advise them to avoid this restaurant just because employees are very, very unkind. The cuisines are unique with their homemade recipes. The presentation was awesome and the bar drink are refreshing. Vegetarian options are available also. Kids can have small bites or pastas well. 💯 recommended. Had a wonderful dinner with their beautiful staffs as well.

Had the mixed Tempura & Avocado Salmon Roll. The tempura was okay as I'll give it 6/10 as the batter was soggy, but the rolls were amazing. It was fresh and very tasty. Loving the atmosphere and seating position! Will come back
