I am in love with this place. Atmosphere, drinks, staffs, mood, people, everything is more than perfect. Especially the "Hot and Cool" cocktail is one of my favorites there. You should definitely try. The first thing you should do is enjoy the mood, stepping on the glass outside of the shop lot. In that way, you will feel what 'real hidden bar, like a gem' is.

Super fun spot. You don’t find out the base spirit of the cocktails until after it’s served. You simply order by flavor profile. Awesome drinks.

Challenging to find but adds to the charm of this incredible little bar. A previous reviewer compared it to something like out of blade runner it has a very dystopian future vibe to it. Bar staff were incredibly knowledgeable explaining the unique situation behind the drinks menu, whilst also having a good laugh and enjoying it. We had four drinks a hot & cold, it’s not coffee, golden mile and cheese no egg. The cheese no egg was unlike any other drink I have had ( even as someone that regularly visited cocktail bars). It was savoury but sweet and had a subtle yet pleasant cheddar taste to it. Highly recommend if you are looking for one of the best cocktail bars in the world.

This speakeasy bar is hidden in a basement on Ann Siang Hill, but that doesn’t stop the crowds from coming on a weekend. For the best experience, come in on a weekday and sit right at the bar. I had a savory cocktail with aged cheddar — it was amazing! Thanks Ash for your hospitality, I’ll be back!

This is probably my favorite bar in all of Singapore! First of all the place is absolutely so unassuming! It looks like a random spot with no sense of it being a bar. You enter through the door downstairs and get into this great place downstairs! They play great music and the service is fast and friendly! It was the best spot to end the night in my opinion! They played A Tribe Called Quest and qtip! The decor was awesome and just lit up enough to get around they have one bathroom and the sink is a little confusing to wash your hands(random details I know but you'll understand if and when you visit) The one drink you must have is the Hot and Cold! It's a sweet drink and it has tequila (don't worry tequila haters I promise you won't taste the tequila and I promise you'll love it). It is a bit of a trippy drink I'll admit because the top froth is warm and the drink portion is ice cold and when you drink it you get the best of both worlds! I'll without a doubt be back here next time I pass by Singapore! Also we went on a Tuesday night and it was empty! Because well, it was a Tuesday night haha

Hidden find which makes finding the place interesting. Then comes their alcohol menu! To maintain their secrecy on the drinks.. all i can say is.. try and find this place and it's a cool find. Service wise, staff were very engaging and willing to take the time to explain the interesting menu without giving away any secrets! Becareful when you find the stairs to this place though ;) I'll definitely be heading back just to sample their other drinks!

Found this "secret" bar online and it took us a while to locate the door heading down to the basement. Service was excellent and friendly, offering suggestions and explanations when needed. Cocktails were unique in presentation and taste, but a little on the pricey side (which is why it's only 4 stars). Will come back again to try other cocktails.

Operation Dagger has been voted one of the best bars in the world and I can see why. Its creativity and innovation deserve recognition. While it is mainly minimalist, it does have an eye-catching feature above the bar – its 10,000 light bulbs! The bartenders will guide you through the menu!

Cool hidden bar with super interesting selection of drinks. They even have 3 or 5 course drink Omakase! Good spot to enjoy with friends or even take nice pics for Ig.

Overated. Claim to be one of the top bars in the world, I was thoroughly disappointed. The drinks I've tried were subpar, a tad too heavy (with cream/yoghurt) which made me not want to order another. The bar had a weird smell.. smelt like dettol and the staff were very pretentious.

Really good quality cocktails and you don't have to wait 15 minutes like many high end cocktail bars. The ambience was good but not perfect in my view the place feels a little colder than it should. Overall worth a visit for the drinks alone.

Cool new concept of not telling you which spirit is in your cocktail! Loved the hidden/secret door component too. Only downfall was the cost $$$ and amount of drink that you get is quite small for the price.

Among all the bars in Singapore this is most likely our favorite one. We come back here every time friends are visiting the city. It’s a very hip place that serves out of this world cocktails in a cool setting. The staff truly know their stuff and add to the experience. Make sure to book your table or arrive early to have claim your spot. Also, bring your loaded credit card since you will end up having more than one drink and they don’t come for free.

Cool place, bartenders were great. The drinks were kind of a miss for me. But liked the concept.

Really cool bar which is quite hard to find the first time you go. Drinks didn't necessarily blow me away but definitely tasted nice. The staff are really friendly and were happy to talk when they had time.

Don't come as a group. They have this weird policy where you can't pay for your own drinks but have to split the total bill in two. So unless you want to front money for all your friends then run after them for a week... Just go to a normal place. Less smoke more convenience.

Absolutely empty - but you can't get a table! Expected better. They gave us 2 sad bar stools - not even at the bar. This when there were 5 other customers at the bar. What a shame.

The worst experience! French guy is so rude and has no respect for customers or staff (you know who you are) I would not recommend this place if you want a nice experience or place to drink! Besides this, you only get 4 sips out of each drink for $25+++ Go elsewhere!

My fiancé and I really enjoy experiencing local cocktail bars, no matter the city we are in. Operation Dagger came highly-recommended — it didn’t disappoint. The bar is hidden in an alley, but easy to spot and access. Singapore is such a safe city, so the “unsettling”/speakeasy entrance wasn’t so much. The space is awesome. It’s minimalistic, but very industrial-like with rustic features. Bartenders know what they’re doing and are happy to help you navigate the menu. As you should be aware, the menu doesn’t list what liquor is in each cocktail, but this adds to the intrigue and forces you to appreciate all that goes into making each drink. If coming from the US, prices are fair. We had four cocktails (two each) and our final bill was right around $50. Can’t wait to come back.

Great cocktails. Tried bee pollen and hot&cold. Both are good. Great svc and atmosphere!

I will have to go again to give this bar a chance to up its' rating. I think the drink choice was wrong (do not have the house white - a hard, dry Austrian at $110!). The cocktails looked amazing, but could not afford to drink these after the wine! The build up to going was so huge, so I was a little disappointed. I will have to give it another go.

Interesting experience as they describe the tastes / flavours of cocktails rather than ingredients. Seem to run about 8 at a time, which are often theatrical. Honestly had some very unusual ones I loved here that I doubt I could get elsewhere. Worth a visit at least to see if it’s your cup of tea.

Went for cocktails after work. This hidden jem has a delightfully creative menu, brilliant concept and wildly knowledgeable staff. Eugune impressed our out of town guests with his insight and charm. Definitely recommend if you have guests to impress, or are craving a one of a kind adult beverage. Loved the whole experience!

Cool experience, great ambience and excellent cocktails. Good selection of food on their menu too.

  • 4/5 Derek M. 3 years ago on Google
Really cool speakeasy style bar. The decor is muted and stylish. The bar has ingredients stored in old-school pharmacy containers. The drinks list is short but curated and you get to pick a set of ingredients but don't know which alcohol they will add to it. This adds to the mystery of the place. Only complaint I had was that the drinks didn't have too much alcohol in them.

  • 3/5 Lisa S. 3 years ago on Google
This hidden bar is quite hard to find from the outside, but upon finding the place you’ll walk down stairs to reach the small bar area which has nice decor and atmosphere. The bar staff get a little offended if you call their drinks ‘cocktails’ and the menu doesn’t detail what type of alcohol is in each drink.

My drink (golden mile) wasn't very good imo. Too strong and didn't rly taste like the description but my friends drinks were very good. Rly liked the hot and cold, the cheese, no egg tasted like a custard dessert. The choco pinot one sounded a little weird worked quite well together. It was a chocolatey pinot! I also liked the lychee martini but the carbonation threw me off a little and the yam Lamborghini. Definitely some interesting and unique drinks

Incredible cocktails, different that everything I have tried in Asia or Europe. I had the Cheese no egg, and it was amazing.

Neat concept. Bespoke cocktails (dangerous drinking water) very to different to any standard bar you’ve been to. They make the spirits and the flavours are defiantly off the road most travelled. If you want something unique on your trip to Singapore this is the bar for you. It would be nice to have some of the more traditional options on the menu for the less adventurous.

Thankfully the entrance wasn't that difficult to find - inside it's actually quite spacious and the crew were happy to chat and introduce stories behind the drinks. Bravo to the team for putting a lot of effort into self-fermenting the ingredients. Drinks are quite mini in size though - so savour the few glups.
