I
was
at
the
hotel
for
a
weekend
to
attend
a
event,
and
here
are
my
thoughts
on
it.
The
hotel
is
located
right
by
Labrador
Park
sea
side,
so
that's
a
plus
if
you
plan
to
book
a
room
facing
the
sea.
However,
it
is
somewhat
of
a
hassle
to
access
the
location,
it's
a
10-15
minutes
walk
to
the
MRT
and
bus
station
on
the
main
road.
The
rooms
themselves
are
kind
of
small,
but
in
decent
enough
condition.
Rooms
are
unlocked
with
keys,
no
card.
I
didn't
get
to
experience
the
rooms
fully
myself,
but
I
really
won't
recommend
them
if
you're
above
1.8
metres
in
height.
Also,
I'm
not
sure
about
the
conditions
of
the
room
walls,
but
there
were
paint
flaking
off
the
event
hall,
so
take
that
with
a
grain
of
salt.
There
is
an
attached
bar/restaurant
to
the
hotel,
which
seems
kind
of
decent
too.
The
hotel
lobby
provides
refreshments
of
cold
water
and
orange
juice,
but
that
doesn't
offset
the
downside
that
there
aren't
a
pool
on
the
site.
The
hotel
is
sometimes
booked
by
travel
agencies
for
their
tourist
groups,
so
take
that
into
consideration
as
well.
Overall,
I
feel
that
City
Beach
Resort
is
a
nice
lodging
for
when
you're
on
a
budget
or
want
easy
access
to
Labrador
Park,
but
nothing
more
than
that.
Hence
my
rating
of
3
stars.
