It really suits the taste of Koreans. It feels like I'm eating a thick soup. I think it would be perfect if there was only kimchi. If you like this food, I think you will like Korean traditional food. By the way, the reason why I gave three stars was that I asked for an additional plate from a part-time worker, but he threw the plate at our table and did not apologize. It is not forgivable to be unfriendly to customers. It is also very regrettable that such an accident occurred at the head office.

Hearty pork ribs soup👌🏻fulfilling portion with 3 pieces of ribs, meat is tender and flavorful, the soup is refillable so you can always enjoy the hot soup. We tried the pork intestines & pork belly, love the intestines❤️ the pork belly was quite fatty. There’s always a queue at any Song Fa outlets but this one somehow popular than others. Despite that, they let us choose the menu while queuing and once we’re seated, the food was coming hot in 5 minutes. Quick service 👍🏼

We stopped here for dinner and ordered many different dishes to share using the QR code. The braised pork was delicious while the pork ribs in broth were lacking flavour, eventhougg soft and served in a rich peppery broth. I also liked the veggies and soft peanuts, whilr the barely lemonade wasn't my favourit. The dishes are served fast and the refill of broth is free.

This restaurant is always full of customers but the service was very good and fast. When you still in the queues, you can ordered food from the QR code that given to you by the staff. We ordered pork bone soup, pork tenderloin, dough frites. The broth was delicious, not spicy but comforting during the rainy days. The pork tenderloin is sweet but delicious.

Join the local hype as Indonesian tourist, the queing is on of the “attraction” of this place but it quite fast, the will give you qr code while waiting and you can make the order first. After you got the table the food will come to you. As usual we order pork ribs soup, dough frites and tenderloin pork in hotplate. For us the peppery soup is not the same like in indonesia, this one bit less peppery but still good one, it will suit with indonesian taste. The tenderloin pork is must a try, their soy sauce is great combine with ginger the scent is one of a kind.

I was taken aback by the queue outside but they accommodate their customers quickly. I ordered the following meals. I noticed that the staff are attentive on refilling the soup (when you ordered one). The food for me is like their staple Chinese food. It tastes good but does not stand out to me. Is it worth the queue? No. But if the queue is not that long, you can wait at least 5-10 minutes on the line. I ordered Chicken Feet, Pork Soup with Noodles, and a Lemon Iced Tea.

The best Singapore-style Bak Kut Teh that I have ever tried. Absolutely in love with this place. The food was served with the speed that was beyond any reasonable expectations. We've got our order in like 3-5 minutes. Prices are very reasonable. We paid something around 50SGD for a big meal for 2. At the same time, I didn't really enjoy the request to pay in the middle of the meal.

Bak Kut Teh (SGD $16.90) @ Song Fa Bak Kut Teh. . Established by Mr Yeo Eng Seng in 1969, this brand has since grown to 13 outlets across Singapore, buoyed by attentive service, comfortable ambience, and reliably delicious food, at reasonable prices. . They're known for serving a clear broth with balanced peppery savoury garlicky spice flavour, pleasant enough to drink for all ages, yet sharp enough to tingle the palate. . Their pork ribs are among the most tender and succulent in texture, pulling nicely off the bone, with meaty sweet savoury flavour. Also love their tenderloin pork slices, which are super tender. . The pickled salted mustard greens have a light juicy crunch with vegetal salty sweet flavour, pairing well with the soft white rice with grainy sweet notes.

Suntec customer service is a lot better but the pork intestine is still as delicious! Very soft and flavourful, the soup is pepperish, I like it. Slice fish is a little mushy, suspect due to under thawing and throw in to the soup and cook. But still, will recommend if you are around the corner and craving for BKt.

The soup is refillable and taste very nice. Love it. Long queue as always but absolutely worth it. Went there in Feb, 2023, still miss after 3 months home. Will re-visit again if we come to Singapore again!

The og Song Fa outlet. Very popular among tourists and so you will expect to see most if not all of them in this outlets. They have two sections (one few doors down the other). The interior has been modernized. Food was standard like their other outlets but I felt service was slightly faster here due to their turnover rate. Ordering was done through barcode, but internet connection was pathetic here.

This is a must if you are in Singapore. If you are a tourist here is my recommendation; go for the soup with the pork type you like together with the crispy rolls that you dip them into the soup. You can also have some rice on the side if you like. If you like spicy things you can dip the pork in the soy sauce together with chili. The taste is TOP. Also suggestion get a refreshing beverage like the yuzu drink that helps to cool you down and reduce the spicy flavor, simply TOP!

Bridge Road branch Song Fa Bkt still serve the best Bkt among it's other outlets.. Peppery soup is addictive and the pork ribs are tender and juicy. Braise pork trotter is also a must order. For some reason, this Bridge Rd outlet attracts a lot of tourist. Good service. Rating 8/10

I couldn't fit a bowl of rice or sides for this famous famous bak kut teh. I was still full from my breakfast. Anyways, my verdict, the meat was so tender with smooth texture, it just melts in the mouth. Hero of this dish was the broth, it was garlicky, peppery and right balance of saltiness, tastes great. Definitely a must-try dish in Singapore.

The foods taste is good as pepper soup or as a Singapore bakuteh. Overall taste is above average. The environment is not good if dine in with more than 5 pax. During visit, we have 6pax but the table seem just fit 4pax the most, as well as the dishes we ordered just fully occupied and not really enjoy the meal with the packed seating. **As a Malaysian I dint recognize this as authentic bakuteh which I can't find 'teh' (or the herbal) in it. However, this is good as Singapore's bakuteh.

One of the best comfort foods we ate. It's great to see that have good queueing system and you can order in advance while waiting for your seats. Hopefully they will make the payment safer, they need to bring the wireless card terminal beside the customer to see the transaction transparently.

Excellent service as usual. Order being done easily on your phone and food was served very fast. The regular rib was cooked on point with divine soup being refilled every now and then. Chicken feet is my favorite too, the egg is a bit plain but acceptable. Hot yuzu tea and barley drink is super tasty. Long queue expected during peak hour given its central location at touristic district.

A Michelin bib gourmet experience, rice is cooked to perfection, sauce is good perfect consistency-mirror like reflection. Side dish is ok. Price is similar to other places although with slightly smaller portion

Very delicious, good balance for those who don't like the extreme of herbal or pepper Bak Kut Teh. Decent portion 3 ribs, meat pulls clean off the bone. Overall for $20 no complaints. Good Soup

The famous Bak Kut Teh restaurant. This specific location is next to Clake Quay station and received Michelin bib gourmet awards that why there are always a queue here. However, the services were very fast, you can order through their site by reading QR code. I ordered medium BKT, rice, vegetable dish, braised egg and iced tea. BKT was very flavorful with strong gralic and black pepper hint. Meat was very tendered, went great with rice. Vegetable was OK. Overall, a must try if you came visit SG.

The famous Bak Kuh Teh in Singapore, with the Michelin guide recommended. Song Fa is really perfect place for Singapore/Chinese breakfast style. Not only Bak Kuh Teh is good, another dishes also recommend. Suggest to come early before they open, so you can avoid the queues. This place is quite small and it might take time if there are a lot of queues. Reasonable price and worth visit.

One of Singapore’s most famous brands; must try! White pepper soup makes u feel warm; 10% service fee but u can add as much soup as u want. Also, it’s the same soup for all dishes, not a meat person ( I’m gonna just have the veggie soup haha)

Environment: Outdoor or indoor decided by the usher. Always long queue. Packed indoor. We were seated outdoor next to the kitchen. Some electric fans made me cooler. Table was clean and big enough for placing few small dishes. Like situated in a Hawker stall. --- 6.8/10 Service: came at 1730 Sunday. Very busy. Long queue. Better says they are efficient. About 20 minutes, an usher asked us to use QR code and he scan our QR code to make sure our sequence. Then, we read the menu thro QR code. Soon, we were seated (passed through indoor and went outdoor). All utensils, seasoning, wet tissues, a small bucket (for bone) and a small bowl of chopped red chilli were placed on the table. We ordered immediately. Food served one by one fast. Refilled Bak Kut Teh soup 3-4 times until we paid. When we almost finished all dishes (we were still eating soup and rice), we were asked to pay first. We paid cash. We only spent 30minutes on eating. --- 6.8/10 Food: Normal presentation. Normal portion. Good price (+10% service charge, + 7% GST). - Pork Ribs Soup, $8.5: There are ~4 pork ribs and 2 Garlic cloves with small portion of soup when served. They will refill when we started eating half. Good value. Soup was hot enough. It's not black soup. Heavy flavor of pepper but not too strong. Easy to drink. Meat was tender and not dry. Garlic was soften. I wanted a refill the soup once more before I left. Not enough for a Bak kut teh lover like me --- 8.5/10 - Braised Beancurd, $1.6: a block of Teochew style hard beancurd with some herbal soy sauce. 7.5/10 - Homemade Seafood Pancake, $6.9: new dish. Served with Sweet Chili sauce. Crispy outside. Pretty good. --- 7.8/10 - Homemade Ngoh Hiang 五香卷, $4.9: crispy outside. Filling was not dense but not loose. --- 7.5/10 - Dough Ftitters, $2.2: slight crispy and fluffy inside. Better than Perth's. --- 7.8/10 - Plain Rice, $1.2: good serve

Delicious pork soup at a very reasonable price. We ordered the menu set so the soup came with pickled vegetables, Chinese fried donut, and a tea. Very good value for the quality. Definitely worthy of the Bib Gourmand designation in my opinion.

Good bak kut teh, but a little bit too popular, and queueing for food is not really my thing. It also created a hectic and crowded atmosphere in the restaurant. The pickled cabbage was more oily than pickled, but the soup was fantastic - and that's giving the place a 4 instead of a 3.

Somehow I feel the pork belly and pork intestines is much more of a highlight than the bak kuh teh... Melt in your mouth tender and so much flavour. The interior of the shop is really quaint and gives a historic, worn in feeling. The staff are so busy that they don't have the time for any form of customer service, but I guess everyone is just here for the food only?

  • 5/5 Eric D. 1 year ago on Google
The food is very delicious! Their pork rib soups are huge, the soup broth is very flavourful and they go around refilling the broth. Was also a fan of their braised intestines which offered a lot of flavour. In terms of service, I wouldn't say it was the best as they pretty much give you your food ( you order the food while you wait in line ) and only come back to you to refill your broth, but that's a typical Asian place.

This is not a place to hang out and talk afterwards, you will get given the bill whilst you are eating which I found a bit over the top. However, the food, thank goodness, is dynamite. Peppery and delicious.

  • 5/5 Xian You L. 9 months ago on Google
The serving sizes for the pork soup are super big now, coming with two pieces of meat per bowl. For the hype and the reliable taste, the price is quite acceptable. I especially liked the mee sua and the pork stomach, which was well cleaned. Service can fail sometimes due to the crowd. Do come in off peak hours to avoid the queue under the hot weather.

The soup of bak kut teh is so good with a big portion of pork ribs and refillable pepper taste soup. 😋 We couldn’t stop letting the staff filled our soups quite a few times as this was so good despite the hot weather. It was delicious to pair with plain rice or fried dough sticks. the queue was acceptable as we waited for around 30mins and we can order by scan QR code while waiting which is very efficient The staff are very friendly and the shop is good with ventilation as lots of fan. We enjoyed our meal very much and look forward to coming back

Tasty food and drinks, we ordered premium loin rib soup (Bak Kut Teh), pork rib with pork belly mixed soup, veggie with rice and rice noodle as well as lime juice and lemon barley. There is a long line waiting to be seated outside, we got QR code to preview the menu and later order the food with it once we had been assigned with a table number. Inside is crowded and noisy as we come on Saturday lunch time. The staff is nice that offer free tea and refill of the soup. We enjoy having meals in this restaurant and would like to come again.

It's delicious 😋 Must try, it's different from other Bak Kut Teh I've had before and the price also affordable. Around 30SD$ for 2 people, all the dishes in the pictures are what I recommend 👌 There's long queue, but actually you don't need to wait for too long

One of the best preservative of Singaporean food. Their award winning Bak Kut Teh is absolute a master piece of soup, with very good pork rib inside. You can also buy the soup here for further home cooking if you wish.

Food is great, people are friendly, good value of money .. one star missing as the authenticity is not at the same level as when the first time mentioned in Michelin..

Good food, poor service. This was my first experience I had to raise my voice at a restaurant. • Inaccurate Queue - It said 5 min, but took more than 30 minutes. • Ordering System - I ordered food yet it came out all in mixed order, which I was still underdtanding considering how busy was the venue. Yet my drink went to the next table and slammed. That's when I had to raise my voice. • Poor Signage - There's a small signage that says do not take picture. This should be all over the place and make it noticeable. • Still, tasty food. The staff members got kinder as the space got less busier. However, the overall service of sequence was a shame. Apart from it was a hot day (which is usual in Singapore) and it's a hard work, it was sad to see the way people work here. P.s. There was no queue around 1:30pm.
