👍 Ordered green tea and rum and raisin flavors. The ice is creamy and it surely has unique taste. The product itself is satisfying. We are there on a Friday night, so it is somewhat busy, there is a long queue, but the staffs are able to serve the customers right on time. It is price worthy. People often mention cream, taste, fast, matcha, soft, flavour, melts, texture, quickly,

I think this place is probably as old as the mall and somehow I don’t recall having their ice cream before. I decided to give this a try after dinner nearby. The texture feels like the typical Japanese soft serve ice cream. The matcha and yuzu flavour go quite well together. But if you are yearning for cream rich chewy ice cream, then you will be quite disappointed. Otherwise, it is what it is and quite refreshing on a warm and slightly breezy evening.

WORST ice cream I’ve had. Staff mentioned that the ice cream was soft and still sold it to us. But I didn’t expect it to be this soft, melting all over my hands within minutes as we walked to the riverside. Bad attitude from staff. Don’t recommend you spending your money and calories here, 7-eleven has better ice cream.

This place has been here forever. The ice cream is really fresh and tasty with a smooth and airy texture. They also have a nice selection of flavors with a focus on Japanese ingredients. It’s a tad pricey for what it is, but it’s really quite tasty. I also like that it’s not overly sweet. What I’ve always found baffling is the shop’s limited hours. It’s literally in the heart of one of the major tourist areas and yet they open late and close early. It’s not the staff’s fault but I don’t know what the owners are thinking. At least on my last visit, the staff, to their credit, did try to reasonably accommodate as many customers as they could after the official closing time. In any case, it’s worth a visit.

Love their ice cream. It just melt quickly so you better eat it fast. There are always a lot of people when I go here. But they serve you fast so it's ok. They have different type of chocolate ice cream. This is one of our go to ice cream when we go here in Clarke Quay.

Aug 7, 2021 Saturday sunny hot Decided to jog from JLG, along Pandan Reservoir, then Pasir Panjang and towards Clarke Quay to complete my 34th half marathon in 2021. Came across this Hokkaido ice cream outlet. Let's hope the F&B business can gradually recover when Covid-19 curb is relaxed from Aug 10.

Heavy on flavour and well made. Quite cool that they melt so quickly, but damn I’m all in on the taste. 😝 Definitely well above average, especially the goma (black sesame)

Looks interesting but the taste was great! It’s so soft and creamy. It will melt fast so you have to eat it really fast but the reasonable price for great tasting ice cream by the river. Many place to sit and enjoy the ice cream right outside the small shop.

Authentic Hokkaido ice cream. Very soft, light and flavorful. It is right outside the mall. The tea flavors are must-haves. I see some people complain that the ice cream melts too quickly. Let me explain. High quality ice cream melts quickly because it uses only milk, air and water. Cheap ice cream does not melt because it contains gum. Now you know.

Really love their ice cream but they melt sooooo fast (think less than a min after they scoop it) It’s a mess to eat. Prices are on the high side ($5.50 for single and $8 for double). Premium flavours will cost more. We tried the kinako and black sesame this time, loved both but wished the black sesame was stronger. Their sea salt, which I tried previously was pretty decent and light as well!

Lots of unique flavours - tried the Walnut Maple this time. Subtle sweetness, super stretchy and super soft texture. I realise they tend to give less when you order in a cup so always get the cone. Melts really quickly though so gotta eat fast. Highly recommended for tourists. PS they only accept Cash/Nets no card payments.

I got matcha soft-served ice cream, it cost $7, which I think is a little bit pricey, but it has a nice strong flavour.

I used to love the genmaicha ice cream that they served at this outlet (seems to be exclusive to this outlet as I've never seen it at Taka). However, when I visited last week, the staff had NO IDEA what genmaicha was and even 'corrected' my pronunciation of matcha like naurrr girl genmaicha is NOT matcha!!!!!! I AM DEVASTATED T__T Anyway, I suspect this outlet is poised to close down because half the ice cream compartments were empty, and the other half were filled with semi-melted ice cream. Brought my friend to try what I thought would be great ice cream but it turned out to be sooo bad and melted :/

Serves nice matcha icecream Tried the matcha choc chips, can’t really taste the choc. Matcha flavour is still the best! Note: Does not accept master or visa as payment.

Looks like this particular outlet is poised to wind down. Half of the ice cream display counter is empty; no cone available even thought I'm willing to pay extra $1.50 for it. Furthermore, half of the ice cream on display look like the are melting. My favourite Black Sesame ice cream tasted diluted. Shall never return again

Wanted to try pu-er tea flavour but it was sold out. The ice cream melts really fast

I got their Genmaicha because japan= tea flavors and well it didn't disappoint. It's not like wowwww but it's good- creamy but soft enough that it melts in your mouth. The taste is strong enough for you to taste but not too strong that is gelat.

Tried double cup as cone not available. Super Matcha (Sayama), the matcha flavour is good and strong, can definitely taste the matcha and the bitterness. Peach Wakayama flavour, taste artificial, and sweetness is kind of artificial too, not recommended. Ice cream melts fast even when consumed in the air-conditioned mall.

Ice cream melts really fast even though it's a cold evening, thus affecting texture of the ice cream. I prefer eating ice cream at leisure, enjoyable pace, instead of rushing untypically to eat a fast-melting ice cream. Flavour wise, it is average.

The ice cream is nice. But the service is so terrible. Both female staffs working at the counter are so rude at customers while taking orders & preparing. I’ve been here last time also, the same staffs attended with the same kinda service. Not sure if they can serve the customers with more pleasant service & voicesAs much as i love the ice cream texture, i dun think i’d go back again to receive & see that kind of service.

As I was paying for my ice cream at the cashier, the lady looked at me saying “look at me for what, I don’t know what you ordered.” rudely. And also complained that her colleagues (the ones scooping ice cream) didn’t tell her about her orders. Overall, the service was bad and the ice cream melted very fast.

Delicious, taste natural, cooling and silky. Kindly note that it does not contain stabilizers as it melts pretty quickly, so eat them in the mall instead of out on the street (my 2 cents worth of advise). Cheers

Disappointing Experience 1 star "I recently tried the ice cream at this place and it was truly disappointing. The flavor I ordered was bland and lacked any real taste. The texture was icy and not creamy at all. I was looking forward to a delicious treat, but unfortunately, this was far from it. I hope they can improve the quality of their ice cream in the future."
