The Japanese buffet restaurant has a lot of different variety of food to choose from. The food quality is average. The grilled beef and lamb chop were hard to bite. However, I like the Japanese soup, and the mochi dessert. Sometimes it will send the robot to serve the food, very interesting. A lot of table got the free flow alcohol package which is good value.

Came for for the first time to celebrate wife birthday. Food served in small portion which is very good as you will be able to try out different types. So far no stepping on 'mines' for all the food we order. Will be prefect if they serve ice-cream and coffee from Japan.

Visited this restaurant for their Japanese buffet multiple times. Although the price is on the higher side, the food served is always delicious. There is a good variety of sashimi, sushi, fried items, grilled items, and rice/noodles. Although for the fresh oysters there is an additional charge, the oysters tastes fresh. The service staff are friendly and very efficient too. The food served is ordered through a QR code and the food is served quickly. Definitely a good dining experience!

Went for the high tea buffet, 3pm-6pm. Good spread of dishes in the omizu buffet and value for money. I like the grilled dishes especially the egg plant, grilled scallops and prawns. Free flow drinks and ice cream. Fast service. There's also a new dish, 🌮 recommended to try the spicy salmon and prawns.

Went here for the sushi buffet! For the most part, the dishes were decent and about average with some being amazing. Quite pricey, but well worth the money for those seeking to stuff themselves with as much sushi as humanely possible. Everything is ordered through a QR code which caused a bit of an issue during my visit as the website was quite slow. Regardless, the service was prompt and great. In my opinion, not for the true Japanese food afficionados. But if you're a self aware glutton who's willing to sacrifice some quality for quantity like me, definitely give this one a try.

A lot of food variety but taste below average. 1 star is for seaweed and prawn paste were spoilt. Feedback to the manager and she apologized. Definitely won't come back anymore.

Came with no expectations after reading those mixed reviews but was quite impressed with the overall dining experience. We had the HSBC 1-1 entertainer discount and it was so worth it. Love the grilled food especially! However there were some food below expectation like the chawanmushi and handroll. Love that they have free flow green tea too and fruit platter! Ice cream only matcha flavour available but not too bad so I'm not complaining.

Was a bit worried by the mixed reviews, but I had a positive dining experience! There was a good range of buffet items to choose from, and the salmon sashimi was very soft and yummy. The aburi sushi was good too.

Spacious environment for a buffet dining experience. Fresh sashimi. Food ordering through QR code and it was served very fast. Highly recommend the grilled items in black pepper & soft shell crab in taco. 👍🏻

Japanese buffet at a good price point and value. Sushi and salmon are all very fresh and made on the spot. The cook food are all of quality and good value. Will recommend for friend gathering especially for lunch buffet with promotion. Personal favourite is the salmon, very fresh.

What a delightful place! The freshest food (choose from the raw to the cooked foods) from an extensive, yet easy to navigate menu, friendly and efficient service, ambient and cozy seating, beautiful presentations…. From sushi to start with to delicious mochi desserts… This has to be one of the very best restaurants in Singapore - and it offers a buffet menu!!

Quality of Food: 4/5 Waiting Time: 4/5 Price: 3/5 For about $74 per pax, the price of this buffet was on the pricey side but their quality and freshness of their fish was definitely a factor towards the worth of this Japanese buffet. There was no time limit which allowed us to eat till we were completely stuffed and the waiting time between orders was minimal, or at least was not as noticeable when a large amount of food was ordered. The grilled items were delicious, including the beef tongue and the bacon wrapped shrimps, and the sashimi was fresh and did not have any hints of sourness. One of the most delicious fish was a pot of soup called the Dobin Mushi that the buffet offers that had a clear refreshing taste and allowed for more food to be eaten. We drank as a table at least 2 pots per person. Is a good place to bring friends for special events but the price does make it more of a special occasion restaurant.

Came on a Sunday night and it was surprisingly quiet. I appreciated the service staffs - they were friendly and made sure empty plates are constantly cleared. Food was alright, their standards are pretty consistent (not mind-blowingly good or terrible, it’s alright really) for this outlet. Though some of the items that we didn’t order came to our table, but not an uncommon scene for buffet restaurants 😬

Pleasantly good food for a $43 high tea buffet. Many varieties compared to many other places. Service is good too. Only lacking is the atmosphere and cleanliness which is expected from a Japanese restaurant.

We came here for the 1 for 1 promotion and we weren’t disappointed. There were plenty of items on the menu to pick from and we couldn’t try everything! We just have to prioritize. LOL. Every dish is delicious and we wish we could still have space in our stomach to taste the dishes that we didn’t order from the menu!

Food was delicious. Sashimi and sushi were served promply but service was extremely slow for cooked food. we ordered and waited over 30mins for some of the cooked food to arrive. While waiting, we checked with the staff on the status of our order and she said we only had 1 food pending in the kitchen despite us having sent multiple orders prior and requested that we orderee again. This led to the "missing orders" being served to us with the new orders we placed and our table having too much food at the end. will visit again but will order cooked food first as it takes forever to arrive.

We had our New year’s eve dinner here with my friend and were both excited to try this alacarte buffet. The staff were all attentive and fast in all our request.😊 well done! even if they were overwhelmed with customers during this period of time. 👏 However, we are abit disappointed about the food. Firstly, we ordered grilled meat( they are plenty of choices) and most of them are salty, cold and hard.😅 sorry we have some leftovers. 2ndly, we decided to have hotpot particularly there Nabe clear soup and unfortunately the soup base are also salty ( i don’t know why😅) maybe our tastebuds has some issues 😂 we didn’t finished either🫤. But, we included oysters in our buffet so we had it and we enjoyed. it was fresh and tasty! ☺️ lastly, we love there desserts such as mochi, ice cream ( unusual flavors) and their fresh fruits was all sweet! 😊 Hopefully, it can be improved somehow.😊

Went on 01.09.2023 for dinner Finally had the chance to try out the Omizu buffet at Shin Minori Japanese Restaurant 😋 We managed to make it on the last day of their National Day promo, with the buffet priced at only S$58nett per pax for over 200 items available 🤩 (original price is S$62.90++ per pax) Love the wide variety of food items, and food quality's quite good and fresh too! 😍 Honorary mention to their Aburi Truffled Edamame: So yummy that I had 3 bowls of it even though I was already full 😝

Some of the food such as the deep fried food are extremely salty. I dunno is it deliberately make so salty to force us to drink water and feel full faster and eat lesser. The dessert such as the mochi is nice. Other food items very usual.

Really enjoyed the variety of food given from the menu, especially the edamame which was grilled perfectly as well as the fresh sashimi. Service was good too as they were quick in serving and clearing empty plates. Overall an enjoyable experience and would come back again!

I occasionally eat here and whenever I come back the food keeps getting better. This restaurant's mastery of japanese cuisine is deliciously satisfying. Environment is clean and well-organized. The music gives comforting vibes and lets you have quality time with your family and friends. Staffs are friendly and manager is super understanding and nice. Will always be back for more.

Food is quite decent. Pricing wise, i used the Birthday Lunch Voucher so it was worth it. The quality of the food is not bad, but the 'delivery' can be hit or miss. Some dishes ordered was not delivered and when enquired, was told to re-order. Portion was great as they came in single portions, allowing us to try as much variety as we wish to have. Will go back again!

Great, friendly and patient service from the team! Diligent, efficient and responsive too :) Great variety of items and glad to see that they would try to add a few new items once in a while which is definitely helpful especially for returning diners. Keep up the good efforts and quality and it would certainly stand you in good stead! :)

Lunch buffet using entertainer was worth it, food quality was decent and quite delicious. The variety was good and interesting. Only downside is the waiting time for some items could be rather long, even at a rather empty lunch hour. Would probably be quite packed at slow at dinner time.

In Jul they have a promo, so went to try it out. They have a lot of varieties, the service is quite prompt too. I like that there is hotpot, soup is average. The sashimi is really fresh and thick. The fried items, sushi, grill items, chawanmushi are just okay only. Overall, for the price it's quite worth it if you order lots of sashimi. Would I go back again? Probably not.

I had an amazing experience! I had the lunch buffet. The food arrived in a timely fashion, and was super fresh and tasted amazing. The staff were all really polite and helpful despite the outlet being relatively busy. Um hi if you don't believe me. Just look at all the amazing photos I took! What I enjoyed most was the salmon head. And the sweet ending dessert, the matcha green tea mochi ball. 10/10 would recommend! 2 thumbs up!

Nice food, nice ambience and good service. We have tried the bento set and especially like the sushi and soft shell crab set. The bento set is quite large as well! We did wait more than half hour for the food but luckily we are not that hungry and the food is really nice. The sashimi is fresh and nice but slightly thicker so it depends on preference.

Our first time at shin minori for our mum’s birthday celebration and was pleasantly surprise with a salmon sushi birthday cake! Our young daughter accidentally ate a raw scallop meant for a hot pot. It caused a bit of panic but the staff calmly gave her a glass of warm water and some ginger to hopefully kill the germs and remove the taste for our girl. Thank you so much for good customer service and good food!

Comparing how they were a few years ago. This place has newly touched up. The place looks more bright and fresh. Their presentation is appetizing with a small tiny portion. Salmon and swordfish sashimi are good... They even come with steamboat.

First time at Shin Minori, foods pretty decent and good, their sashimi was very fresh and tasty, a very wide selection for their buffet menu. It was worth it, as hot pot and yakitori were amongst those included in the buffet. Worth coming back again..

A good variety of food choices but a little pricey if you're small eaters like our kids. The mixed sashimi platter is a definite must! 👍 Service was a little slow unfortunately considering the restaurant wasn't even full house, some of our orders didn't arrive which was confusing as we weren't sure whether to order more. Budget tip: Remember to also sign up for their membership at leaat 24 hrs before visiting to be eligible to use the membership vouchers.
