8 adults and 2 kids having weekday lunch at Thai Village Restaurant. It’s not too crowded but earlier reservation is recommended. We called in advance and the waitress were very polite and experienced to assist us on our booking. During our visit, there is a Facebook promotion by Thai Village, which is 20% off on weekday. We have confirmed this promotion is valid prior to our visit :) Our last visit to Thai Village was 9 years ago. And the dishes were still the same tasty and we have ordered 9 Claypot shark fin soup, 2 vegetable and 1 1/2 crab with vermicelli. We finished everything on the table and were all full and satisfied. We hope there will be something else to replace shark fin in the future, then we get to enjoy better without thinking of the poor shark. Kudos to the management and team!

Great place for a meal, prices here are very steep. Taste of the dishes are commendable and flavourful, highly recommend the baked crab with vermicelli, one of the most unique dish that cannot be found elsewhere. Overall peaceful environment with great service and friendly staffs, the dishes did not take long to be served. Great desert options available here as well. Parking here is shared with Goodwood Park Hotel, no parking coupon is provided having a meal here, parking came out to about 13 dollars.

great service. lamb was dry and they voided the order. other dishes were normal. just come for their classics. the sharks fin, goose webs and claypot prawn vermicelli were the stand outs.

Recently visited again after not having been for a few years. Glad to say that the tastes haven’t changed and it truly tastes like childhood. The sharks fin soup is really thick and good and the portion is very generous. We also liked the salt baked chicken and the crab with vermicelli. The crab wasn’t the best, but the flavour of the vermicelli was on point. Chicken was tender and flavourful with a slight char from the clay pot. I liked that everything was served very hot and it was a very heart warming meal.

Disappointing experience. Been wanting to try this outlet. But service wasn't too consistent, particularly 1 younger serving staff with dirty uniform and untidy hairdo. Food not fantastic to make up for the overall experience. Ps. Missed taking pics of other dishes.

Overall the food was tasty and the shark fin’s soup was good!! Extremely flavourful experience and the service was good. Only thing I disliked about my time there was that the peanuts, achar and wet towel was chargeable and is snucked in hence the 4 star review.

One of the finer dines in Singapore. Shark fin soup and abalone was absolutely delicious. Wagyu Beef was tender and juicy. Place was cozy and service was attentive

Shark fin soup is still amazing, just that the price is a little steep. Rest of the dishes are good but maybe try to control the fire so all the base of the claypot dishes don’t get too charred and stick to the bottom. Overall a really nice restaurant with great quality.

The food was delicious. The service was excellent. I am on crutches, and there was no elevator to reach the restaurant except going up a few steps. One of the staff stayed behind me and made sure I walked up the steps safely. When we left, it was raining heavily. One of the staff walked down the steps with me to make sure I'm okay. She also waited with me for the car to come. When I got into the car, she held the umbrella to make sure I don't get wet and I don't fall down. I don't know your names, but I'm thankful for the kind hospitality.

Very value for money dishes. Crab beehoon and fish maw soup are very well executed. Speed of food being served is very quick and efficient too. The salt baked chicken in claypot is really sweet though more like teriyaki than the name suggests. Would not recommend it that much to people who dislike overly sweet food.

Outdated and overpriced. Interior is extremely worn down - looks like it hasn’t been renovated in 20+ years and aircon outlets are full of mold. Prices are rather high compared to other similar restaurants. Make no mistake - this is not a Thai restaurant but a Thai-inspired Chinese. Food quality was good but not what we expected from a Thai restaurant. Service wasn’t very considerate - after we already ate all our other food, they served the side portion of pineapple fried rice.

Shark fin still taste good but portion is smaller than before. Services has gotten a lot worse, attitude was cold from most of the staffs. Ordered shark fin and fish maw soup but the latter dish was not keyed in and not served. Other dishes were of average standard.

The restaurant was busy on a Saturday evening. Service staff friendly and efficient. Just let them know when you are ready to order. We didn't realise that we ordered stuffs that had very similar flavours. Haha. The duck web was interesting. First time having it. Quite soft but not melting kind. The dishes that we ordered are strongly flavoured and definitely needed rice.

Here is Singapore best shark don where you get a slab of fins and rich broth. I suggest going for 1 small bowl individually and for male, 1 medium bowl. For other dishes, I ordered the bee Hoon which is superb. Wok fried till perfection. Ask for green chili to go along.

Food and service are generally good. Restaurant is a little noisy during peak hours but manageable. Location-wise could have made it easier to find with directions - we walked to the end of Goodwood Park Hotel before realising the restaurant was on the opposite end, about 5 mins walk away. Price-wise, we were a bit shocked at the $200+ bill for 3 persons, but generally still felt it was a fair value.

If you're looking to experience a restaurant from the 70s this is it. I don't even know why this place has the word Thai in it. Maybe a Thai person can verify this. Food is truly meh. Maybe I ordered the wrong dishes. Prawn bee hoon was decent. You've been warned.

I had the pleasure of dining at Thai Village again, and as always, the experience was delightful. The food is the star of the show - always consistent in taste and quality, which is a testament to their commitment to culinary excellence. The wide array of dishes means there's something for everyone, but the authenticity of the flavors ensures you're getting a genuine Thai experience with every bite. Whether it's the rich curries, the flavorful stir-frys, or the aromatic rice dishes, everything is meticulously prepared and presented. Service is friendly and efficient, and the ambiance transports you straight to Thailand, creating a holistic dining experience that goes beyond just great food. Thai Village continues to impress, and I look forward to my next visit.

Good service and atmosphere but food is not very good. Standard has dropped as compared to before... food looks nice cause my camera is good, but I didn't enjoy anything

The food were great. We enjoyed them very much. The staff were polite but not very attentive. We had to request a change of plates on several occasions.

Great old school restaurant that serves good food. The main star is definitely the shark fin soup.

Parking right opposite the restaurant. Bring umbrella if the weather isn't looking good as there's no shelter to the restaurant. Shark fins qty seem to be lesser than before but taste is still good. Service is average as usual. Weekday afternoon (lunch) don't need to make reservations, have some empty tables here and there.

Consistent quality! After many years since i last had it. The taste is exactly the same. The prawn bee Hoon is on point. A must order every time!

The highlight of this meal was the sharks fin! It was thick and generous. Salted prawn was good also, the salted egg was well flavoured. Vege and Vermicelli however was average as they lack wok hei.

It’s not an actual Thai food, but it’s a good mix. Food was good, especially the shark fin with crab meat. However, service was extremely bad. Doesn’t reflect the kind of price I’m paying. Staff has bad attitude, the table was so dirty they don’t bother cleaning while a bunch of staffs was there chatting away. Low standard restaurant.

Braised bee hoon with crab meat and "San Pei Ji" (claypot chicken) were super delicious!

Food is undeniably good. Ambience I would say is old school, not the most modern for the price you pay. Only thing is when I’m spending $120 per person, I don’t like being charged $ for the nuts and even towels!!!!!!!!

This is my go-to restaurant when I’m craving for a big bowl of sumptuous shark fin.

Go-to spot for a hearty bowl of sharks-fin soup. Always good as a comfort food. Restaurant ambience has a really old-school vibe. Staff is always friendly.
