This has usually not happened with me but for the first time I am giving one star because there is nothing less that I can give. Service and food was appalling because the people who were working were acting like they were forced to work and they did not have any other option. Fries were soggy and the burgers were made from cardboard, I had burgers at the worst possible places and even they were better than what I wasted today. Not that I wasted my money I also wasted my time and the food that I purchased because after one bite we had to throw away all the food. There is the old saying in the restaurant business that greet your customer with a smile but out here they don’t bother about service and the food was below standard. (My call) choose any other restaurant but Mel’s drive-in.

Most of the restaurants in USS are closed and lack of staffs(probably due to COVID) so there weren’t many choices to pick and it was full of people and I had to wait in queue for about 30mins. Foods were expensive but it is to be expected being inside a theme park. Although Crispy chicken and beef burgers were actually decent and tasty despite the look.

Used to taste better but standard has drop. Remember to came before covid and enjoyed the food but not now. Please achieve the old standard

Didn’t enjoy the Xmas beef burger - the patty lacked beefy flavour and was rather peppery. The fries were cool and soft. The santa float (sprite with soft serve and syrup) was too sweet due to the syrup.

If I could give minus stars I would. One of the worst places I've ever eaten, if not the worst. DO NOT EAT HERE!!! the menu is pathetic, the food is cold and almost inedible. How do you serve cold dry chips when it's semi busy??? I could barely swallow the chips, they tasted like they'd be sitting out for a few days. Absolutely inedible. The chicken did not look safe in my burger. I took a few bites and pulled it out. And the milkshake looked and tasted like thick melted ice cream. Service wasn't great either, the server couldn't speak much English and we had to repeat things multiple times. Shortly after eating i started to feel unwell.... so we'll see what happens as I'm still here. I don't know how this place is in business. Please avoid and also get this place shut down or new management and actually make it somewhere decent you can eat. But for now AVOID!!!!

Too expensive for a tasteless, dry burger and coca cola tastes like water

Food is decent, but v v overpriced. Service is terrible (1. we asked what sauce was in portobello burger, but the lady at the counter shouted at us that she didn't know and we should just get someone in the kitchen ... 2. We asked for ketchup but she unwillingly gave just 2... for an order with 5 burgers :) 3. We had 5 burgers but gave just 2 napkins oh well) While I had expected food in attractions to be overpriced and worse than outside, this is unacceptable. $16 for each burger, but only worth as much as macs... but macs has much better service tbh Oh and the table is shaky (probably can topple over on one side too if there was no counter force on the other.. lol) + look at how much soft serve was given for the sundae, not even half the small cup 🤣

💢 Nice & tasty burger. Can consider to try them if you come here. Their have ample of seating (outdoor & indoor). Service was quite fast even though it is bunch of people. Price were reasonable for theme park.

We ordered 3 burgers and 2 drinks. Cost us $42, luckily we have the voucher to offset. Sadly the burgers came first round were cold so we asked the staff and they were nice to change for us. The crispy chicken burger was not bad but not sure why the cheese in the burger as cold as just out from the fridge. The Portobello Mushroom Burger taste like wood, hard and dry. Please put some effort to improve the standard of your food to charge at this price.

This restaurant is certified halal. This place closes for orders for sit-in at 18:00. You would have to take it away after. I had a turkey bacon burger and a strawberry shake. The burger wasn't too bad. The milkshake was better than I expected. Overall, food wasn't bad. The inside decor is a marvel. The colours and the frames really get you into the era intended. It is a bit pricey. The location is perfect, though.

We came in with company event at evening - 7pm, staff looks tired , maybe this is additional working hours for them on the day. Burger is dry , disappointing. But onion ring is very good! Fresh real onion ring here.

I got a burger with fries and frozen cola, the taste is very bad. The burger tastes like frozen burgers. Not worth the $SGP 24.00

I wished I had read the reviews before dining here. It operates like a fast-food but at a higher price range. I mean.. it's USS we all know that. But with the price we paid the food was so-so. Staff is not really helpful. We checked with the counter staff if the coke is "classic" or "original" he said "classic". When later we found out it was original, we tried to ask if we could change it and the lady at the drink station said "but I just filled it for you, so no". It’s fine that we can't change it but her tone though.. Not forgetting, you get your own baby high chair because no one cared. Feels like a Karen restaurant except you dont get screamed at while ordering. They scream your order number reeeaaally loud and you'd be wondering if the tourists actually understood them.

Food was good. However the Milo was being stingy at its finest. It was kids meal and we asked for No Ice milo. They only served Quarter of the cup. Well come on. Its kids meal. It should be normal for them to drink without ice.

Great classic western ambience! I bought portobello mushroom burger with fries, and it taste great! So far it was the best mushroom burger i’ve ever tried!

Yucky food... $16 for just a burger and fries. Fries still alright. No way I'm eating the burgers here again! I can find better burgers in western food store in any coffee shop in singapore!!

Last year's fish and chip (sep 2021) is so much better (and hot) than the burgers (feb 2022). The fries arent hot and the buns not soft. the sauce on the rendang burger is so little. And to the group of 7, why the heck did you change your baby girl diapers in the resturant? Even a few tables away, i could smell the urine and thats why i noticed you wiping your baby's buttocks.

The food here is AWFUL. Was expecting something like the Mel's Drive-In in LA, but seems this place just copies the name. Nothing similar at all. We had the voucher for the Christmas set meal. The cheese on the cheese twister fries was a lump (not even properly sprinkled), and it was just normal curly fries. The patty in the burger was mostly tasteless and kinda... chewy? Requested for no sauce and it came minus the veggies too. The lady at the counter was nice enough to switch my drink to a normal diet coke. My friend had the normal drink and the ice cream amount on the float was kinda sad. Even a meal at Mcdonalds is better.

food was better than i expected for USS food! $16 for a burger and fries is quite standard, and the the portions were generous. cheeseburger was quite tasty, and the decoration of the diner is very instagrammable!

Lunch today felt not so worth the price and the staff not so helpful. Nevertheless when you are in places like this and not much option to take due to long queues then better understand the situation than complain. Staff anyway are fully occupied serving many hungry people..and hungry little kids. Still giving 4 star..retro ambience is nice and air-conditions making us relax after queueing under the sun here in Universal Studio Singapore 🌞 We will still come back 😅
