If you're craving for a good bowl of beef soup (including tripe and all the other fixes) or Pad Thai, you can head to Thaksin Beef Noodle to enjoy them. The food centre itself can be crowded, but SMM is in place, and seats are crossed out to ensure safe distancing.

Seah Im is back in action Affordable hawker food with a clean environment. Spacious and well cleaned. Recommend their duck rice & fried oyster.

A little old and not too well maintained hawker centre, this is a haven for office workers who work across the road at HarbourFront. Easily accessible to the HarbourFront MRT station and the HarbourFront Bus Terminal. There is a huge section, more than a third of the hawker centre, that is dedicated to Muslim food. What are my favourite stalls? 1. The Laksa Yong Tau Hoo 2. The Carrot Cake by old aunty which is deep fried and therefore crispy 3. Mee rebus 4. Zi Char stall called Good Time Kitchen 5. Ding’s Chicken Rice

A place that I always visit in my teens. Cut hair and even made my first secondary school long pants there (>20 plus years ago). Market is great. Some of the old stores are still there. Food varies in price. Some stores are cheap ( compare to other branches) and there are older stores that sell very tradition old school styles cooking method ( made bring back memories but may not appeal to everyone)

A lot of varieties there and it seems to be a popular lunch place for people working around the area. Oyster omelette and beef hor fun were classic and tasted very nice. The 潮州鱼粥大排档 was the worst hawker stalls I’ve seen so far. The lady cooking the dishes was so rude and pretending she didn’t understand both English and Mandarin from non locals. The other guy who took the orders was sneaky and tried to guide to you order something not on the menu and charge you more. After all the fish noodle soup’s taste was below average. Beware of this store.

$3.30 for the duck rice takeaway. Was not bad no wonder the long queue everyday. The yam rice was great and tasty. Will definitely order as it is one of the more affordable options.

It's 2nd day of CNY so many stalls are still closed. The Hainanese Chicken rice we had here is just so so and the rice quality bad. Prices is however reasonable. No increase even for today.

Mee Goreng Store - Excellent food and service. Cost $5 and taste really good, although there are not many ingredients, but at least i am paying according to the price started on the signboard. Hawker Centre is considered quite clean. Yong Tau Foo - Food so so, but service is really bad. Stall owner/ helper very dishonest. Stall signboard state 6pcs with noodles $4.30. But yellow poster state 8pcs $4.80. When I seek clarification, the stall owner/ helper said min $4.80 8pcs with noodles. When I pay $5 expecting $0.20 change, she said it is $5 but she told me $4.80 earlier. She said " I added more veg for you so $5, plus save me the trouble of giving you $0.20 change and you keeping the $0.20 change." 😡 Let's now look at the photo of the YTF, I took a bite on each of the pieces of YTF and realised that there is only 5 possible of YTF in total - 2 fish balls, 1 fish cake, 1 tau pok and 1/2 noah hiang. Please look at the veg quality and the soup. Is this additional veg???

A very decent plate of Fried Kuey Teow (with yellow noodles). The wok hey is tremendously fragrant and this is easily one of the best Char Kuey Teow. This business is run by a family and the mother is the main chef who controls a very good flame, you might catch a glimpse of tall fire (close to 1m flame at least!) on the wok. That’s how the thick wok hey is produced! Payment method: Cash, Scan QR PayNow Price: 9.5/10 Taste: 10/10 Portion: 9.5/10 Speed: 9/10

The place has been renovated recently and the place is cleaned with new furnishings. The food centre was noted with a clean ceiling and new fans. Netting was fitted to prevent the bird from entering the premises, though some birds managed to enter. The hand washing bay is out of service at two stations when I visit.

The cheapest hainese chicken rice I've ever had 🤯 the perfect, small and delicious meal at SGD 3.50 only! My friend loved her noodles which set her back only SGD 5.

If you are looking for delicious Hawker food in the South, Seah Im Food Centre is the place to go. I particularly like the selection of Malay food stores with a variety of dishes that's a delight to get through!

Food was ok, but service was real real bad. Ordered a small duck rice, asked for it without skin, uncle said only big plate can, ask for yam rice, uncle said only big plate can, but the yam rice was default coz it was stated on the sign board, then only he relented. Ask for more chilli uncle said only big plate can? 😅 looks like they are real stingy. It was $3.30 for a decent amount of meat tho. Wonder why they don’t increase their prices coz they seem rlly miserable charging that amount. Had the char kway teow too. Same experience when asked for more chilli. So as for the oyster omelette. ($3.50 each) affordable and rlly can’t get prices like this anywhere else. Only the sugar cane had no problems. $1.40 (without ice)

Pig trotters sold at this stall is just comfort food. $4 for a plate comes with a braised egg and rice. Value for money. The meat very tender and the fats soft. Soaked well with sauce. Do ask for more sauce to drape over the rice, mix the egg yolk together with the rice, great combination.

This is another Food Centre with many interesting food to eat. Avoid coming during lunch crowd. There's a huge public car park and Bus Interchange next to it.

Long established, located opposite Harbourfront, this is a go to pit stop before couples, group of friends and families head off into Sentosa for a hearty quick fix breakfast to fuel up for the long day ahead. Food options are plenty and value for money. For example, black coffee at 70 cents, where else can find such a cheap coffee in Singapore? A surprising find today was freshly fried vadai, an Indian snack that was very flavourful. Good food centre to drop by en route to Vivocity or Sentosa.

A smallish food centre situated close to the foot of Mt Faber, within walking distance from Vivo City and Harbourfront Centre. Quite an interesting mix, several halal options and the usual suspects like Chinese fried noodles, chicken rice, pig organs soup, yong tau foo and even braised duck! Yet to find a stall worth shouting out for. But for those in the know, Eat Three Bowls, a by now well-known casual eatery (with 2 outlets) had started out here at Seah Im humbly. It did so well and now operates at independent shops.

Recently renovated. Not as hot as previously. Some of the old food stalls are still operating, but some have disappeared. Overall, still a good spot for good food at reasonable prices.

Cheap and good food that you can get at Vivo city area. Lots of local delicacy here such as chicken rice, pig organ soup, char kway teow, hokkien mee, sugar cane juice, ayam penyet, mee goreng and more! I love getting the "teh o limau ice" here in the big cup, it costs only $3 and can be shared by 3 to 4 person!

20Jan2024 I’ve tasted better but the Fried Carrot (raddish) Cake & Fried Kway Teow from Seah Im Fried Kway Teow stall were tasty enough. Wish their Fried Carrot Cake had some preserved raddish (chai-poh) though. The Fried Kway Teow (without cockles) had a bit of wok-hey aroma & flavour. Costs for these 2 plates (both had additional egg each) = S$9.50 only. Very reasonable.

Had the boneless chicken rice and Yong tau food. The boneless chicken rice had lesser veggies compared to pre-renovation period. Choices of food were also reduced after renovations. Would not make a trip for the food unless I am working nearby.

the cai tou kuey at stall 26 is super crispy and dry, which is perfect for me, plus they give a lot of egg and they cook each order individually. the auntie is very nice and kind. The bak chor mee at stall 30 is also nice, with springy “Q” noodles and flavourful sauce. Overall, the hawker centre’s food selection is great, with a lot of nice food.

Had fried chicken rice from a Malay stall called "Aspirasi" located at the end of Seah Im nearer to the big carpark and facing main road. The stall serves chicken rice drenched in different types of gravy - sambal chilli, black pepper, sweet n sour, etc. - or just plain. Being a person who likes all things spicy, my obvious choice was the one with sambal chilli. Cannot really taste the chicken since it's overwhelmed by the taste of the sambal chilli but how I like the chilli with a balance of sweetness and savoury! Rice was fragrant enough but I felt it slightly overcooked and lumpy. If you do not mind the "flaws" in the rice then go ahead and give the stall a try.

Had Hokkien mee from this stall. That's $4.00 with 4 big prawns which I think it's not only delicious but hard to find elsewhere.

Usually, I come here for the braised duck rice 卤鸭饭 and the yong tao fu. Saw a review yesterday and decided to try out the carrot cake (stall 26).. the kuey is flavourful and seems homemade, and lots of eggs. The uncle fry plate by plate, so if peak hour the waiting time may be long. They also sell char kuey tiao

For cheap and good local halal food you can enjoy it here. Must try the Gado Gado and Teh Halia Tarik. Superbly cheaper than hotel or Starbucks.

NOT NICE! Fried veg with oyster sauce not tasty at all. Given cold rice, asked to change. Even tho change another bowl, the rice is just warm and hard. Taste like overnight rice that kept in the container for long hours. Only the prawn meat roll is still ok. Very frustrating. This dinner is ruined!

Seah Im is the best hawker centre in the CBD area and I’ll defend it for life. I always make a pit stop here to get my belly satisfied before going into Sentosa for a swim or just walking aimlessly in VivoCity, even if I were to go to the library just to read - I’ll make sure to get full solid meal here first. Love that the hawker is newly renovated with most of the old stalls being kept. My favorites are the green plate char kuey tiao and the Chen Ji orh jian here. Tried something new which is the satay stall run by young lads. Very sedap satay, meat super well marinated and the ketupat is bursting with pandang flavors. Char kuey tiao - $3.50 Orh Jian (Oyster Omelette) - $4 Satay (many sticks) - $16.50

I eat there almost everyday even Sunday sometimes because my workplace is a condo in Sentosa.I live nearby in Queenstown. The food is tasty. For breakfast I had 2 pieces of prata kosong and teh tarik cost $3.90.Egg prata cost $1.90 a piece.Lunch will cost me 4-8 dollars.Dinners also about the same price.Depends on what I chose to have for dinner.Weekdays are filled with workers working nearby blue and white collars.Weekends are crowded with the island visitors and shoppers from Vivo city.Advisable to go between 10am-12pm.Too early and some food are not ready.Too late and some are finished.

Jd the fish soup at stall number 24. Quality has dropped tremendously . I believe there has a been a change of owner since renovations. Fish is significantly smaller portions. Very stingy giving chili. Do not recommend. Will not be coming here . Buy lor mee instead .

Old-style hawker centre: been here since 1988. Popular pit-stop for locals before or after island trip to Sentosa. Tried fried chicken briyani at S$6.50, increase of $0.50 attributed to inflation.
