Visited Cassia today with my husband after reading positive reviews on google review and it really didn't disappoint. Upon reaching Cassia, I was warmly welcomed and served by the super friendly service staff, Jess. She was very attentive and made great recommendations. We have ordered 5 spiced Pork Belly, Prawn with Glass Noodle in Clay Pot, Wagyu Beef with Black Pepper Sauce, Sweet and Sour Pork and Fried Rice with XO Sauce. All tasted great especially the Wagyu Beef. Thanks Jess for the memorable experience!👍 Strongly recommend to those who have not yet visited before.

Most of the dishes were really well executed, nearly no misses. We loved the peking duck, about 8 pieces for half a portion, just sufficient for 2 pax. Restaurant was full house on a weekend dinner. Service was impeccable despite running on full house. Portion of food was just enough for 2pax. Spent approximately $200++, which is rather pricey given the ambience and location. Would definitely return for special occasions.

Dinner at Cassia exceeded my expectations! The food was certainly more modest and traditional during CNY period. The service was warm and friendly. The staff even sang me a birthday song, oh wow! I took the opportunity to explore the hotel as well. Capella is such a beautiful venue.

Dim Sum set menu for lunch at Cassia at Capella Hotel and Resort was phenomenal! . With interiors designed by André Fu and inspired by the historic spice routes of Southern and Western China, Cassia is a contemporary Chinese restaurant in Sentosa, serving unexpected twists on traditional Cantonese dishes. Based on the best regional recipes and using the finest seasonal ingredients, the menu celebrates the contrast and combination of flavour. . First we had the #dimsum platter with #siumai with #abalone , then that deep-fried Vietnamese roll was crispy to the core! My favourite was of course the steamed charcoal powder bun with BBQ pork and, yes, you heard me right, #blacktruffles . Total of 5 courses including dessert, and that seafood crystal noodles towards the end of the meal was super satisfying and filling! It will make you want to have more! . ‼️PRO TIP: Dress well for lunch! The labyrinth of gardens around the restaurant will make you want to take lots of photos before or after your meal. . ✅ FUN FACT: There are many fun exhibitions around the hotel complex, feel free to roam around after your lunch to check out the beautiful paintings and artwork.

Beautiful interior, great service staff. The food was decent but all the dishes were very lightly seasoned, a little too light for my liking. Maybe cuz it’s catered to foreigners as well thus flavours aren’t as robust as most other Chinese restaurants. Apart from that, I must stay the quality of ingredients was good. We requested for a dish off-menu and they were very nice to accommodate us.

Good ambience, fine dining Chinese cuisine, located in Capella Sentosa. Complimentary parking for diners. We went for dinner and ordered the Pekin duck. Though we did not reserve the duck in advanced, we did not have to wait long. The skin was crispy and the fats melts in your mouth, very flavourful and delicious. However, we find that the wrap was abit hard and thicker. Bryan and his team were attentive and professional. Keep it up! Would love to try their lunch dim sum next time.

Good dinner, but excellent, attentive and superb service. Good Chinese Cantonese fine food - more like also a modern fusion to me, the only feedback is that the menu mostly are per person basis or 2 person basis. If you have a bigger group, you can ask for bigger portion, I am sure they will try their best to accommodate . Unfortunately this restaurant is lacking of some traditional Cantonese dishes or desserts like guilinggao. Nevertheless, good taste still.

Reserved a table for 2 in advance on a weekday at 7.30pm. Was staying at Capella and visited all 3 restaurants respectively (Chef's Table, Fiamma & Cassia), sorry to say but out of restaurants visited, Cassia was by far the worst. Severely under-staff & frustratingly long waiting time for someone to finally notice us to take our orders. 15 minutes had passed after we were seated before I had to grab the servers attention to take my order. Peking duck out of stock as "other tables had already snatched them", according to the server. So had an assorted meat platter and ordered 2 ee fu lobster noodles (refer to photos) Assorted meat platter took about 15-20mins to arrive, taste was subpar, reminds me of Crystal Jade, but extremely overpriced. & pardon me but the restaurant wasn't even full house. I wouldn't mind waiting if a server had at least came over to inform us but nope, nothing. After we were done with the platter, another 20mins passed before our mains came, this was already 8.30pm, 1 hour after we were seated, but I didn't want to make a fuss so we just waited. This is a Cantonese restaurant but the portion size is of French, and luckily the main course wasnt too bad but not like mind-blowing good as many online critics have claimed. My partner and I left immediately after we were done. They also charged for still water but no server actually refilled our cups after 1 glass. Still hungry, we headed to Fiamma for dessert which left us soooo much more satisfied. Staff @ Fiamma more engaging as well even though we only ordered dessert (btw Fiamma was a lot more packed but there was effort to engage). The total time I spoke to Cassia servers were less than 5 mins during the whole dining experience. My partner was very dissatisfied with the whole experience at Cassia as well. Considering the waiting time, taste and price tag, I will never recommend nor patronize Cassia again.👎 Don't understand why this restaurant has a Tatler recognition. My deepest apology, but this is my honest opinion.

Truly disappointing dining experience for dinner and breakfast on our second visit here. We checked in at Capella at noon and asked reception to get us a dinner table at 7pm which was happily accepted by reception. While we planned to dine in the evening, we received a call from Cassia that our booking wasn’t accepted as it was fully booked??? (Cassia is one of the good restaurants in Capella) We spoke to them for like 15mins and they gave us an outdoor seating after a late cancellation??? Turned out to be an indoor seating and it was not fully packed at all which made us feel even worse. Now it’s about the quality of the food. We ordered half Peking duck which was the signature dish but that’s definitely the worst I had globally over 30 years. They helped you wrap the duck and surprisingly they only wrapped the skin in the wrap and left the duck breast to cook another dish??? I am originally from Beijing but I never see a restaurant making and serving a Peking duck in that way. Our neighbour table was also complaining about the pace of food served as we saw 5-6 dishes served in one go and felt very sorry for them. Next day dim sum breakfast was also disappointing not because of the food but it’s slow and careless service. Dim sum orders missed almost in every single table and the excuse from manager was there was so many no-booking show up which made them too busy??? Anyway we don’t want to ruin our staycation mood after 2 disappointing dining experience after coming back to the same restaurant in just a month but I have to say it’s really disappointing to see the standard of a restaurant sitting in a five star hotel dropping that rapidly. We will definitely come back to Capella but this restaurant will not be on our list anymore. I am writing up this comment in Cassia and some photos shared with you.

Excellent food and very good, attentive service in an understated, elegant and peaceful setting. The set lunch might look a trifle lean on paper but turned out to be a little feast. Every item was delicious and presented and served impeccably. Wonderful experience. We would like to thank both the chef and servers for making our day!

One of the best Chinese dim sum restaurants to eat at in Singapore. There wasn't a dish that we were dissatisfied with and the service was excellent. Highly recommended! The spa and stay at Capella was superb as always. Kudos to the Capella Culturist and service team!

Mar 2022: Celebrated a friend’s bday at Cassia. We forgot to order a cake. Only remembered it on the morning of our lunch. Dialed the main line but was told restaurant isn’t opened yet. We left a message for orders of 寿桃 . Was pleasantly surprised for Brian to return our call within a short period and confirmed that it will be arranged. Thankful for making it available at such short notice. Excellent service as always. My friends and I enjoyed the food, service and ambience. Dec 2020: Have been trying to go back but due to Covid, they do not accept non-residents. Went there on NYE during phase 3. Ordered 1 set lunch and several dishes. The food was great. Love the cod fish roll, mushroom truffle dumplings, the spare ribs soup, Peking duck and avocado pistachios dessert. Darren was attentive and remembered our food allergies. The bill came up to $188 for the 3 of us. An enjoyable way to end the year. 2019: Went on a Sat for their Weekend set lunch experience $59 per person. It consists of chilled hawthorn tea, dim sum, soup, trilogy platter of your preferred meat, rice or noodles and dessert. Quality food, attentive service and great ambience. However, the dessert was too sweet. We were very full after the lunch. My favourites were charcoal barbecued Hokkaido pork bun, winter melon soup, chilled tuna, pork belly and hor fun. Set lunch was value for money. We ordered pu er which is $6 per person.

Wonderful experience. Located in sentosa Capella, parking was easy with validation by the restaurant. Nice ambience and staff was very attentive. Our server (Jiaxing I think) was superb and highly commendable. The food was very tasty and ingredients were very fresh. Highly recommended!

had lunch here on a sunday. ambience is definitely lovely although slightly marred by the ruckus of a few children🥲 the food was overall quite decent, although i don't think the price is totally justifiable. the dim sum averages at $18 for 2 pieces. while we could definitely taste the quality of the ingredients, the price is definitely exorbitant for the taste which can be easily found at crystal jade. the peking duck wasn't anything special, but the fried rice portion from the peking duck was quite nice! stand out dishes for us were the pork belly and sweet and sour pork for sure. service was fine, but i would say there's definitely a difference if you carry a nice hermes bag haha😅 overall, i would say this restaurant is okay for a special occasion but probably not worth a second trip.

A place with nice pleasant ambience where I can slowly enjoy my food. If you have discussions or chats as the whole restaurant is not noisy with soft music in background. Like the cod fish the most as it is very fresh. Be prepared to pay a little premium for the dining experience. Service is excellent and staff is attentive and comes refilling up the tea without asking

Very nice decor and ambiance, great food and excellent service. Price was reasonable too. Everything was good but the staff really deserve special mention as everyone was so nice. My friends and I really enjoyed the whole experience. We had dinner today. Will be back to try the dim sum.

Top notch restaurant to be. Service was great so as the food. We ordered the nourishing set lunch as we couldn’t made up our mind what to order (spoiled by choices) and pair it with Chinese white tea Pai Mu Tan & Melon. Each dish is done to perfection and serve right after cook (hot). The ambience is beyond great, nice seating, comfortable, it’s great to be there on a Monday afternoon for lunch without much crowd.

What an amazing restaurant located at the heart of capella. I had a wonderful lunch with my family and friends with 5 stars professional service, attention to guests and scrumptious dim sum. The gold flakes truffle Cha siew Bao is the best char siew bao I’ve had. $12 for two pieces, it’s kinda pricey but the quality of ingredients, ambiance and service were top notch. They serve set lunch too, quite worth it. Price - okay , reasonable give the service, ambiance and food quality Location - okay Food - great Service - great, really one of the best Ambiance - great Cleanliness- great It’s about 10 mins walk to the beach, good activity after a scrumptious meal

I regret not knowing about Cassia earlier, but better late than never! The dining experience was extraordinary, and the food, so delicious beyond what I can describe with words. Our small stomachs can only fill half a Peking duck and a serving of Bi Fong Tang prawns, but Bryan, the restaurant manager, filled our hearts too with exemplary service and a surprise platter to celebrate our birthdays. It was an unforgettable night, and we shall be back to create more memories and try other delicacies, which we know will be equally heavenly as the Peking duck. Thank you Cassia!

Wonderful experience and the service is top notched with top notched dishes. Would love to try their Peking duck and 一品锅 next time. Only challenge is accessibility for guests who are on walking sticks or wheelchairs… We ordered simple items and we tasted the stark exquisiteness to some of the good one we went frequent in main island. A big shout to the service team - i felt I am back to sq business class before covid19

What is your litmus test for a Cantonese restaurant? For us, it is either the hot and sour soup or roast duck. We celebrated a special occasion and experienced the Renaissance in Chinese fine dining at this lovely joint away from the city's hustle and bustle, and it passed our test with flying colours. Here's to a hearty serving of our favourite soup that is both hot AND sour. That duck, too, is aromatic, fleshy, succulent, and incredibly delectable.

We had dinner at Cassia and went with the Chef’s set. Portion size was great and the quality of the food was very good. I do highly recommend it as the ambience was comfortable and spacious. I just couldn’t quite understand the avocado cream ice cream dessert at the end given the theme was Chinese...! Certainly be back when we are next at Capella 🙂

Stayed 2 nights in Capella and ate at Cassia both evenings. The restaurant is very tastefully decorated, exuding a serene ambience to dine in. The food doesn't disappoint as well. Very refined befitting the overall feel. Not too salty nor spicy. And the ingredients are fresh and of quality. Service staff is definitely friendly and helpful. Kudos to Darren and his colleagues. Highly recommended
