Our Veg Thai dinner at Ginger Thai (Thai Wok Restaurant) with 3 pages of pure Veg menu and over 30 Veg dishes! Ginger Thai (Thai Wok Restaurant) serves great Thai food at reasonable prices in Orchard area with a chic surrounding and ambience. The Chef has 20 years of experience in Thai cooking in the finest restaurants and the best part is, they have 3 pages of impressive Vegetarian Menu that is egg-free and mostly Vegan. Almost all the dishes can be customised to be allium-free except for curries and some condiments and snacks. Do check for diet suitability or make your special requests during ordering. Focusing on wholesome vegetables without any mock meat, the dishes are packed with flavours to deliver the essence of Thai Food. They are located in Cuppage Terrace with a chic atmosphere and a fully sheltered alfresco dining experience. The surrounding area is very lively and romantic with bars, spas, clubs, etc. Featured dishes: 🌱=Vegan 🌱VEG CRISPY POCKET $10 Crispy vegetarian pocket, lightly seasoned. The fillings are made of seasoned tofu and the texture is quite meaty and to my liking. 🌱TOM YUM COCONUT SOUP $12 Spicy and sour creamy coconut soup with mushrooms, fresh Thai herbs & lime juice. The soup is very creamy with a harmony of flavours from sweet, sour, hot to salty. 🌱THAI YELLOW CURRY $16 Traditional yellow curry with potatoes, tamatoes, chill and sweet basil. The gravy is thick with scents of fresh spices and herbs. The flavours are memorable and revitalizing. 🌱GRILLED EGGPLANT $14 Eggplant grilled with Thai herbs. The 2-sauce pairing goes very well with the perfectly-grilled eggplant. This is definitely a great venue for hangouts with vegetarian and non-veg friends. I will recommend their curries and soups if you like strong flavours of spice and herb. Love the punch!

Staffs are friendly. Personally feel that's the taste is good. But it's really expensive. $18 per dish before gst and service charge.

A good place to stop for dinner. It’s not fine dining but a regular restaurant that offers good variety on the menu. We just wanted to grab some food before heading home after a long day out & about. And weren’t disappointed. We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of vegetarian dishes (hot dishes) which is unusual. Restaurants generally offer salads or sandwiches as vegetarian options. The staff were nice, cheerful & hospitable which is great but also really service minded. They suggested dishes & engaged in being helpful with tips to enhance the experience. The food is perfectly ok & so are the prices as well. Very nice experience, friendly welcome & worth the visit. The location is great with other eateries around. Good vibe, environment & lots of people around.

Authentic Thai everyday fare. Only grouse is the food should be served hot to stave off the muggy cold from a day of rain .

Ok place with friendly staff. Food was alright and the prices are a little steep. The chili soft shell crab was not on the menu but managed to order it. Not exactly authentic Thai food, but cooked well enough.

The food itself is fine, but the price to quantity ratio is awful. They give you very little quantity and charge probably 1.5x-2x of other Thai restaurants

Have dinner here only if you want to be charged $4 for a bowl of plain rice. Overall the food taste ok except for the steam fish. It has bitter aftertaste from the lime which made the whole dish weird. Felt thirsty after the dinner probably from the amount of msg in the food. I believe you can get similar or better standard thai food somewhere else for half the price. Definitely overpriced even with burpple beyond 1 for 1 vouchers. Not returning.

Worst Thai food in all of Singapore. Day light robbery of unsuspecting customers. We ordered online because it had a vegetarian section. The menu looked good but prices were exorbitant. Anyways made the mistake of ordering. And what we got was dismal to say the least. The food was undercooked and tasteless. Coconut yellow curry was water. Potatoes were put in without peeling with a bit of soil or small stone too coming in mouth. Mango sticky rice was so bad with just two pieces mangoes that were sour. Not sure how they survive with this kind of food and pricing. Guess because of customers like me making mistakes. Not again!

One of the worst experiences being a new customer at this restaurant. On 9 November 2021, I made an order through Deliveroo at 6.30pm. The food was supposed to be delivered by 7pm as you can see in the receipt. Till 7.30pm, I still had not received an update on the delivery. My initial few calls to the restaurant was answered by a manager who was very rude and unempathetic and instead of apologizing for the delay in the food delivery, he claimed that the food should have been delivered a long time ago and that I was trying to find a problem with them. By the time the food arrived at 8.10pm, it was already cold and untasty. The satay that I paid $14 for was hard as a "rock" and not to mention charred black. Will never order from this restaurant ever again! Buyers on Grabfood, Deliveroo and Foodpanda beware, always check the review of a restaurant online before ordering from anyone.

Went there for dinner last night and bitterly regretted it. I wished I had read the reviews before making the decision to try this place. Food was not good at all and pricey for the portion given. If you are really looking for good Thai food, I advise you to go somewhere else as there are lots of good Thai restaurants in Singapore. For a Saturday night, the customers who patronize this restaurant merely go for the alcohol as all the other drinking joints are full.

The food was truly disappointing. My son who loves Tom yum soup and noodles barely touched his food. Not only did the food taste blah, the serving size was minuscule. A terrible waste of our money.

One of the worst thai food and dining experiences I ever had. The server took my order and brought a tasteless tofu starter which clearly reeked of chicken smell. Then on top of that he brought a chicken fried noodles dish when I specifically ordered a vegetarian version, and did not even accept his responsibility for doing so. Everything that me and I my fiancee ate were so tasteless and a shame in the name of thai food all over the world. Will never order again.
