Had the: hummus salad platter (not much chickpea, tahini, or lemon taste), falafel sandwich (one maybe two falafel balls and lots of French fries dumped into it. Lots of sweet mayo sauce, very greasy, and no tahini taste at all) and chicken scharma (again, greasy, sweet mayo nuked all the taste of other ingredients) and glass of lime juice = 20 dollars. Friendly staff but not enough to make me want to return.

A small eat out located close to Little India, Marmaris pleasantly surprised us with Mediterranean food experience. Food : We ordered chicken soup, chicken shawarma plate ( that comes with amazing garlic dip), chicken Mandi and chicken biryani, hummus with Arabic bread and salad. Arabic bread did felt little dry but overall food was heavenly! Special mention for 'karak tea'........it's so so good and after a long search we found a place that serves exactly Indian style chai! Service : Amazing service, the waiters are extremely courteous despite being in rush. Service is very prompt too. They were kind enough to customize chicken soup order for our son. As they have limited sitting, it will be better if reservation is done beforehand.

Best kebab ever - they use a creamy sauce. that sets it apart from most kebabs in Singapore. lamb shank texture technically great. That said, it’s not so much Mediterranean as it is a South Asian interpretation of Turkish food. In that sense it lacked the South Asian spice overload, but also needed more of the exuberant flavour of the Turkish seaside (olives, olive oil, etc) Service was amazing - it’s not an Indian restaurant but I found myself accidentally ordering all sorts of off menu things like lime juice no sugar and mango lassi, and they delivered.

Food is excellent - the grilled chicken was moist and wonderfully spiced, with a nice assortment of vegetables, tasty humus and warm Arabic bread. The mango juice was one of the best I ever had; clearly fresh squeezed despite the low price. Prices are good and service is kindly, but be warned that they are very, very slow.

It's not easy to get affordable yet decent Middle Eastern or Mediterranean food in Singapore but Marmaris certainly offers that. The chicken shawarmas are very decent for the pricepoint and drinks like their mint lime juice aren't overly sweet which suggests that they probably aren't using just syrup for the drinks. We had the chicken shawarmas which were decent but the falafels did not taste very good nor did they resemble the falafels I've tried at other Middle Eastern joints. That said, the low prices amidst decent food comes with certain cons. The restaurant is severely understaffed leading to some pre-stained utensils when the dishes are served. For example, my lime juice came with an unexplainable brown stain on its rim. The seat cushions at the restaurant are also lightly stained and the restaurant had 2 power trips and blackouts while I was there. Certainly not a date spot but probably a good option for a tasty takeout.

We had the mutton mandi rice. The mutton was soft and had the soft fats of lamb served together. Perfect. The Mexican long bun was soo good. Mexican has a lil spices added. But its was all good. Not too spicy. They have seating upstairs. Aircond. Even a wash basin to wash hand. I will def come back.

We've been coming back there, delicious food. So far we love their shawarma, lamb shank briyani (taste special), grilled chicken & pita bread, their garlic sauce is super yummy, and the lime mint juice is really refreshing. The pictures we took are from the recent visit

I ordered fish mandi and expect to get something as shown in menu. However, what I got was almost plain rice with a whole fish and 2 types of sauce. Salad was missing. During settling the bill, I asked why my food was not same as shown in the menu. The answer was β€œon request”, because some customers don’t eat the salad and wasted. Not sure it is a reasonable.

Charming little restaurant in the heart of little India. I had chanced upon it after reading the reviews and it was truly amazing. The Arab flavours were so authentic just like we had in Saudi. The lamb shank meat was so soft that it fell off the bones and well flavoured. We absolutely loved the mango lassi and kunafe as well. The kunafe was unlike the others I’ve tried in Singapore, the cheese was very soft and creamy, and the outside was nice and crispy. The manager and waiter were so friendly and hospitable, especially with my little one. The price is very affordable and much cheaper to the Arab street counterparts. Portions were huge and they helped us pack the leftovers so neatly. Truly amazing customer service which is hard to come by in Singapore. Will definitely visit again, keep up the great food and service!

Really really good food! The Lamb Mandi was to die for and the falafel may be the best I’ve eaten in Singapore. The service was a bit slow but was easily made up for the genuine hospitality and enthusiasm of the staff. Every dish was served with a smile. Would 10/10 come back for the food & the service πŸ’•

One of the best places for Halal food in Singapore, with a good variety of delicious food selected menu. I have rate five star cause - Ambience, taste & Quality of food. Good fast service curtious staff. The cook & the team are muslims and preparing the best authentic taste of India and Arabic cuisine. The pricing and the quantity of the food is Awesome. I remember the place for all of my life and will come back again when ever I'll came to Singapore again.

Mamaris Restaurant in Singapore left me thoroughly impressed with its delightful offerings. Opting for the chicken shawarma platter was a treatβ€”it showcased a delectable variety of tastes that truly satisfied my palate. The quick service ensured that I didn't have to wait long before diving into the flavorful feast. What added to the charm of the experience was the cozy upstairs seating area, providing a tranquil and inviting space to enjoy the meal. Mamaris Restaurant has mastered the art of offering a diverse range of flavors without compromising on quality. This gem is a testament to their commitment to creating an unforgettable dining experience. I'm excited to have discovered this place and can't wait to relish more of their offerings in the future.

Kabsa was average. The second floor was a little noisy as some works somewhere was ongoing. There was 1 service staff and the wait for food and drinks were longer than expected. There were 2 tables occupied including us. Total of 10 pax. The wait could be longer if it was more crowded. The picture of the menu could be better. Take a look and you'll get my point.

Food is very good, but the service we got was terrible. The waiter is behaving very rudely to all customers including us. Only 1 person is there to handle the whole hotel. We had waited for the food maximum 1 hour, and when the customers gone no one is there to clean the table. One of the customer clean by himself to be seated. We visited the hotel many times, at that time the experience was so good. But this time it was very disappointed. We hope next time will get a better service and will keep coming bcoz of the food served

Good food and polite staff. The place does not seem fancy, but then totally value for money as the chicken shwarma was just 6 bucks. I wanted to have the Falafel one but they were out of Falafel at the time. Also didn't have soup. Will go again for sure.

Payasam was very good. We came mainly for Karak tea as that is rarely found outside Dubai. It was slow to be served and taste was no way near Karak tea nor did it have cardamom taste

Came here a few times and bought their Mandi Rice. So far, Not disappointed. Their Mandi Rice itself is good and savory. The sides that comes with the Mandi Rice just adds a little subtle kick to your tongue. Price is slightly high. But the food is alright. Hopefully can get to try their Swarma and Kebab sets in the near future. Would rate their Mandi Rice in Top 3. Update : Tried their Al Faham (Quater Grilled Chicken) with Hummus and Kunafe. Al Faham Rating is 7/10. For $12.90. The chicken can be bigger. But it is flavourful. The Kunefe is a 5/10. First time trying Kunefe so have no comparison.

Ordered the mutton kabsa, fattoush, khubz and a giant container of toum for dine in, as well as chicken shawarma for takeaway. I appreciate that the food closely resembles the kabsa and shawarma versions you find in Saudi Arabia or Lebanon. The shawarma had no weird chili sauce inside it, and had pickles and french fries. The mutton was tender and flavorful and the kabsa rice was nicely aldente. If you're not looking to try more authentic middle eastern food outside of Turkish cuisine, this is the place to go.

I had the pleasure of being served by Mr. Faizal at the counter, and I must say he was incredibly patient, addressing all my questions. What truly impressed me was the meticulous way he packed the condiments – neatness and attention to detail, it's the little things that count! I highly recommend giving their kebabs a try. Personally, I'm a big fan of the Shawarma Mandi Rice, as you can see in the photo here. It's not just tasty; it's downright mouthwatering! πŸ“ΈπŸ΄

Food was delicious and reasonably priced although the drinks were a bit pricey. I think the seasoning is strong which means you might need more water after the meal. We had a really sweet server who patiently explained each dish to us and made some recommendations. The seating is a bit tight but nothing uncomfortable.

Honest review. The food is delicious, and we thoroughly enjoy it, however the restaurant's atmosphere is unsatisfactory. The chairs are old and shaky; they could fall over at any time. The spot where you wash your hands should be clean. Please replace the menu because it is so smelly that my husband and I had to wash our hands twice after touching it. Please change the location to more accessible to customers and your sales will be more.

Food tasted amazing and friendly service staff. The meats were seasoned and spiced flavourfully and the accompanying sides complemented it greatly. There was a slightly order confusion but the management solved it professionally.

πŸ˜– awful. Lots of paid and fake reviews here for sure. The place is filthy....and if they don't mind letting you see the filth in the dining area- it made me think what the kitchen would be like. We ended up there after a long walk but it's disappointing. Fries- the worst, wait time long, poor understanding of dairy allergy by wait staff, chicken didn't seem fresh- took a few bites and left. Avoid this- unless you've lost your senses after a night out and are too drunk to bother about cleanliness and taste.

I ordered the chicken swarama mandi rice. Fantastic! The meal was served with fresh vegetables and several dipping sauces. The garlic sauce was a knockout. The rice was flavorful and aromatic. Make sure to try a mint lime juice to enjoy with your meal. We will be going back for more!

Good food good life. Get your affordable Arabian food here. Normally in other restaurants it's at an unexplainable price. Vegetarians/Vegan also available. Falafels are yum. Yummy yummy in your tummy.

Had the falafel sandwich and ordered a mango lassi to go with it. All in for just under $10. Friendly service and I received my food quickly as they weren’t too busy pre-dinner hours. The falafel and fillings were ok. Just kind wish they didn’t roll it so thin and didn’t cut up the falafel before putting in the wrap. Otherwise pretty decent taste and value, except for the mango lassi, which was $4.50. Pretty small in my opinion as you’ll see in the photo. To their credit it did taste pretty fresh with actual mango bits.

We had a very delicious and heavy team lunch at this restaurant and this was our second time! They didn't disappoint us at both times! Mutton Biryani and Muthabbal + Hummus are my favorites ever, mutton meat is just melting in my mouth. The staff called Shahul is so friendly and helpful to us. He recommended us some dishes & drinks to try which turned out so delicious. It is quite affordable and each penny worth it! Surely go again next time with my friends.

Amazing tasting food. Premium tasting chicken, ingredients and marinades are not skimped or cheap-out, chicken Al-Faham tastes so juicy and tender, the grill char coming through mixed with the hint of sour lime after taste really hits the spot. The Shwarma is the best, authentic sauces and chicken marinades and the Kunafa I ordered is the most authentic I’ve ever had so far
