I'd say, 3.5 stars, especially more on the side of service. The service professionals were prompt, warm, and friendly, and you could tell they had genuine smiles. The prices decent for the set meals, and the food was generally good. Love the sauces. The BBQ, and orange sauces, were excellent and went well with the burger. However, the burger patties could be improved upon. The patties were quite dry and tasted like an upgrade of a McDonald's beef patty, except with more tender beef, and less salt. I reckon the beef may be kept too cold or frozen. Lastly, there might be something wrong with the ordering system because they served the patty with regular buns rather than sourdough (didn't taste like it) ones; Thought it was a good mistake as it would be better to try the regular bun as it was my first time there.

We come here for the lunch sets now and again. It’s decent food and the value is okay. It’s not cheap but it’s reasonable for what you get. I’d say it’s not the best burger you can get, and the taste is definitely different from American style burgers, but it’s tasty enough for what it is and the drinks are nice. You also have a choice of buns and sides. The sweet potato fries are good, too. I do think their beer selection could be a little better and you need to be a bit careful with the pours. Sometimes the mug is filled to the top with foam but the beer may be below the line when it settles. I do think their sauces could be better. Not really keen when the main ingredient in them is sugar. Service is good. They’re friendly and pleasant. Is say the place is probably 3.5 stars but will round up to 4.

The quality of the beef patty is definitely lacking, the flavor combinations are interesting and fun, if the beef quality was better they'd have some really good burgers. The vegetarian options were a lot better. The olive patty was delicious and worth the purchase, I really appreciate all the vegetarian and vegan options they really make this place more for people who enjoy vegetarian burgers than people looking for beef, which is great because I love a great veggie burger and they have a lot of choices. So if I get the chance to return I will, and will definitely order entirely vegetarian.

A good dining option to go to if you're looking to have some German grilled burgers. They have different burger options that can cater to different dietary requirement. Love that they served up 4 different types of sauce for you to choose and dip your burger and fries in. You also get to customize and choose your own burger buns. For people of diet, they have naked option for their burgers too. A great place to go to if you have friends who have varied dietary requirement. Would definitely visit again and give their German beer a try next time! :)

German grilled burgers! We’ve patronised this outlet several times, and menus have changed since. Today, we tried beef and chicken burgers (we usually get vegan). However, slightly disappointed because both beef and chicken are dry, and beef is tad too salty. Sweet potato fries are amazing, would recommend this option. The set meal is of great value; you get a burger, 2 drinks and a side. I’d recommend their thirst quenchers (mint elderflower).

Great German sausage served. Beef burger is unique with Parma ham. Sweet potato fries is very nice. The set came with drinks and side dishes that is worth the value. However not much options to choose.

Have been at this restaurant several times, ever since it was launched in Singapore, and was known as Hans Im Glück. Reasonably priced, especially for the sets. Good options for those who are keen on healthier choices for a burger meal and sides. Had the wilder westen, rabauke, kraftpaket. Thick cut fries was nicely done without going soggy. Sides of geleit, sauerkraut were pleasant as were the beers. However, a huge setback was the ordering system of having to scan a QR code, being directed to Telegram or whatsapp and having to download a menu. Poor choice of user interface which totally puts off the customer/user, as the steps do not work well, requiring sign-in with other media platforms or creating accounts. Orders once submitted that can't be retrieved or viewed. Empathize that staff shortages exist, in fact staff are doing their best and also being efficient. No smooth process to ordering which deters future patronage, and not helpful to the staff who may be repeatedly called, and also having to submit orders manually.

*A plethora of Veg Burger options to choose from* First thing first - The Vibe. We were craving for Burgers, and had to look up Google to find the nearest restaurant that serves Veg Burgers. HANS IM GLUCK came up on screen along with several other restaurants. We decided to visit here based on its menu options. It was 600m walk, but the moment you reach the place you get the forestry vines due to the wooden decor of the restaurant. The floor is a wooden deck, the pillar like structure in between are bamboo like structure, the tables and the chairs are all wooden. I must say this feels like having meal in a forest. Food Ordering: The restaurant has an interesting and unique way of ordering food and that is via a QR code attached on each table. The code are embedded with the table name so you need not worry the link you used to order food will get your food delivered to you without any fuss. The food shows up on your table in no time (it could due to fact that it was non-rush hour). This brings me to the staff behaviour. They were helpful, and caring. Food: They have amazing burgers on the menu, we tried Wolpertinger Set that comes with Fries, Drink of your choice, tea/coffee or chocolate bar, the second burger was an Ala Carte burger. The patty was juicy and fresh, aptly cooked. The layers in the burgers were so healthy looking with lettuce, tomato and onions. We also had a hint of avocado there. The bun looked dry from the pic but there were super soft. Seatings: The place offers ample seating options right from several tables on the patio to huge seating area inside. “GUNSTLING” Salad was fresh with simple ingredients. The potato dressing kinda binds the salad together and was pretty mild in taste. Will try out the “TRUMPFLBATT” or “BRAVUR” in future. “KASE & SPECK” Beed Burger was excellent. Juicy and substantially thick beef patties topped with bacon and cheddar. Also tried their “GESELLE” Chicken Burger, which was also pretty good. Chicken breast was perfectly cooked. Moist and tender. Their Sweet Potato Fries were pretty good, but there was a sweet element to it? Some sugar coating perhaps? Drinks were also pretty well made. Had their Orange & Basil Original thirst quencher, which would be perfect for warm weather, and Mocha. All in all, they are using fresh and simple ingredients and letting it shine on its own without any overpowering each other. Service was also pretty neat. Quick, friendly and attentive.

It's an alright German burger spot, located in the middle of town. I wouldn't have expected to put German and burger in the same sentence, which is also why I'm hesitant to fully recommend in full transparency. Service is great that evening we were there, despite C19 dining restrictions. Food quality is great as well, as I'd expect with the crowd they have. Just feels more like a place that I'd go with friends for beers, rather than a date place. Actually appreciate that they also have vegetarian options for my friend. Once again, German and vegetarian in the same sentence just feels awkward.

I expected much more in terms of the portions and quality of meats for the average price of $25++ per meal. It comes with drinks and a choice of tea. Fries were so-so, nothing too fantastic. The burger was also pretty average. Staff could have been more attentive. Water is chargeable at $1 per glass. No refill allowed - quick shocking to me. What saved the night was probably the complimentary dessert as one of us is a regular patron. That said, the ambience is amazing. Loved the outdoor alfresco seating area and decor. You can get a more romantic and cosy environment for their indoor seating. Toilet is available as well. 5 mins walk from Orchard MRT.

The Crispy Chicken Cutlet and Nurnberger managed to hit the right spots. The crispy chicken cutlet wasn't too greasy and the breading was done very well - it provided a good crunch. The German sausage, which is the Nurnberger, didn't have an overly strong processed meat taste, which is typically found in sausages. The sides left more to be desired. It would be great if we could swap out the potato salad and sauerkraut to fries or other alternatives. The potato salad had too many onion bits in it, providing a less than ideal taste, while we weren't a fan of the sauerkraut. One notable point was the excellent service! My girlfriend knocked over an entire cup of mango juice, much to the horror of everyone. However, the staff was swift to relocate us to another table. They cleaned up very quickly and offered us a new drink too. Very kind and attentive staff! Loved the ambience they created too.

Had another meal today with mom and my boy. 1 Apr 2023 Lunch. We ordered 2 beef burger meals with 1 side, 1 cold drink and 1 hot drink per meal for $19.90. (Grunts Gold Set and Wilder Western Set.) Both burgers tasted very good. The beef patty was juicy and the sauce was great. We also ordered curry sausages that comes with thick cut fries and 1 cold drink. (German Currywurst) $22. Total is S$74.61 after tax and service charge. It was a wonderful meal with 5/5 stars from all 3 of us. =================== 13 Jun 2022 Dinner. Love the beef burger and sweet potato fries. However the beef patty was too tough, definitely not for anyone who is particular about the quality of meat and cooking. No beer, it was replaced with a non-alcoholic Mojito drink. Will visit again as I love the decor and ambience.

Honestly I have been there for the first time based on one of my friends recommendations and I was quite excited to try the food. I liked the burger and salad though the soft drink was quite okay. I believe they should work on it and understand the taste better. Mocktail that I ordered can be rated as 1 out of 5. Otherwise the overall experience was quite okay.

The burgers are always satisfactory however I wanted to try their German dishes for once. The pasta was horrible. There was barely any salt in it. Very different from what I expected. One of the drink also took really long to be served and guests who arrived after us, got their food first. So wasn’t the most pleasant experience this time round.

Decent burgers and love how they have several choices of buns that you are go along and the add ons of additional ingredients. For a German burger, it has already been shrunk to Asian size so it won't be as big as you would expect. But the one that stood out was the schnokelloser burger on a sour dough bun with extra cheese. The kraftpaket on a multigrain bun was also good. The online menu wasn't exactly the easiest to understand and it didn't help that despite the rather quiet crowd on a Saturday, the staff didn't get the order right for the beer. And charging tap water is rather disgraceful for Singapore if I may add. Food prices is already on the higher side compared to lots of burger joints. You don't need to charge for tap water just to boost your revenue do you?

Love the vegan burger options here especially with the sourdough bun. Love that all the sauces on the table are vegan by default. And their sweet potato fries are my fave! 🤩😍🌱 They use real berries in their forest berry lemonade. 😍 Very efficient ordering system through the QR code on the table. Food comes out super fast! Smiling staff. Always been a great experience.

On 5 Feb 2022, ordered the hans im gluck burger set with sourdough buns.. and wilder westen burger set.. i enjoyed the hans im gluck burger with deep herb taste in the beef patty.. enjoyed the thick cut fries.. fries should always be thick cuts 😂 and also love the lemonade and mocha that came later 😊

The set meals are value for our dollars. Choice i Of 2 drinks including a beer is just superb. The chicken patty is juicy and well prepared. Loved it and will be back soon.

Interesting that their meal included 2 drinks — one cold and one hot. I thought the burger was quite nice although the price is abit steep. Although this place primarily serves burgers, I was pleasantly surprised to see the many flavours available, including a lingonberry and cream cheese burger I got.
