Had a wonderful dinner with my wife. We have a standard 8 course dinner omakese set with my wife opting for a vegetarian version. We could feel that the ingredients were carefully chosen and used to elevate the taste of each dishes. It's really an experience of visual and taste that is delightful and enjoyable as we discussed about each dish over then course of the dinner. Staff were extremely attentive and would explained each dish meticulously and answer every of my questions patiently. Thanks for the wonderful experience.

Pretty good food. Very compact setting providing an intimate dining experience. Its a great introduction to so many new vegetables that I had no knowledge about. Would be good if they served cocktails for lunch as well. Also could probably add one more course - menu felt a bit short. Hand written menu was a fantastic touch to the experience. The lamb dish and dessert was a highlight.

Beautiful vegetarian cuisine, beautiful ambience, beautiful service and staff. Just take that leap for tastebud and exquisite ingredients discovery. Presentation of the food, attention to your dining experience made it such a pleasant experience. Do come by each season for different culinary exposure.

Very good experience - everything was delicious. I will say it’s better to know what to expect before going in. The menu is heavily indexed on highlighting the vegetables of the French region the chef is from so expect much lighter and more subtle flavors. I personally enjoy richer flavors more so it wasn’t the best fit for me but if you enjoy an emphasis on herbs / veggies this is a must try!

Cosy and warm colonial-like ambience that felt like home, impeccable yet friendly service (from Maryjoy and Lawrence), elegant and unpretentious courses (see pictures for description) especially their use of seasonal vegetables, and super-tempting tableware (foldable Opinel knives!) made our dining experience memorable! Looking forward to their next season’s menu!

Chef Jeremy and the team did a fantastic job championing seasonal vegetables. The wine paring was beautifully done for each course to highlight the taste of the food with a great balance. The ambience of the restaurant was intimate and lovely but the light was slightly dark. It was a birthday celebration and we had a great time throughout the night.

Excellent services with quality food and fantastic atmosphere. The restaurant only has limited table, definitely need reservations to come here. The place focuses more on a wide range of quality vegetables across the world. Very unique presentation of the dishes! My partner was having the vegetarian option and it was as good as the non vegetarian options. The chef even packed us his hometown cake to bring home for tasting. A little high on the cost, but worth the experience!

Visited Restaurant JAG for lunch and had a really good time - you can tell that a lot of thought has been put into every dish and it’s presentation. They bring in seasonal herbs as well and I guess that helped bring out the flavors for the food. Worth a try!

Amazing food. Look at the handwritten list of dishes for the 298 per pax menu. Chef Jeremy is very sincere and able to accommodate gluten free, dairy free and egg free request.

One of the most breathtaking food experience I had the chance to enjoy. Amazing culinary journey. The contemporary symphony of aromas and textures through a vegetarian focus was fresh, exciting and new. Every dish is meticulously crafted to bring a delightful balance of flavors. The wine pairing was on point. Compliments job to the chef. Excellent service. Attentiveness and professionalism exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere was warm, friendly and cosy. We felt welcomed and in optimal conditions to savor our dinner. We recommend this restaurant to anyone passionate about food.

Gorgeous food beautifully presented with flowers, smoke, garden illustration in bran. Spectacular and special, but sometimes the show was more than the flavour. The lamb was delicious, as was the fish and blood orange sorbet. The white chocolate ice pop was superb. You pay a lot, so expect a lot. The story telling behind where the vegetables are sourced and the spectacular service is a great addition. We even had words from the chef and a gift bag to take home, which were great finishing touches. The new location by the water is also lovely. Go if you want to experience taste sensations that you don't even know what you are eating.

Our second visit at Jag’s and our first, trying the autumn lunch menu. Like our first experience, this was excellent. We love that every effort is made to perfect the taste and presentation of each dish, down to the small details. Each visit is a complete visual and taste experience! Definitely worth a return visit.

Was at JAG with my mom last week. It was our first time at the restaurant and the warm intimate setting was the first thing that struck us. There was a lovely glow within. We were sat by the window which gave us a good overall view of the restaurant. The service staff as well as the sommelier were really attentive and made us feel totally at home. Chef came out of the kitchen on a couple of occasions to check on how we were doing and without doubt , his food with the strong emphasis on veg was stellar. We would definitely recommend JAG and dinner there would be next on the cards.

Fantastic experience at JAG for my birthday. I'm vegan and for once, I felt the menu was meant for me and my husband (omni) was the exception. The food was absolutely fantastic and we had great service as well. Totally recommend.

always a delightful meal at JAG (it is our third time dining here!) we are continuously impressed by the balance of flavours and textures at JAG, with the vegetable as the hero of each dish. the summer menu is light and refreshing - my favourite element has to be the tomato sorbet! looking forward to dine with JAG again :)

Had a lunch at Jag in December. Overall the food at Jag was good. The presentation, look, aroma, taste etc were all there. I would very creative in some dishes. A lot of thoughts were put into some of his dishes to make it look artistic and yet taste good. If I have to be critical, I would say the fish is too blend for me. It needs a bit of a kick. But the rest were great! I would definitely go back again!

Tried their autumn menu, very enjoyable dinner. Top-notch food quality and very attentive staff. Forgot to tell them about our dietary restrictions and yet the chef was able to adjust their menu for us. Will definitely be back!

The whole experience is very good with all the fresh ingredients and all However the place is abit too small/intimate for my liking. I prefer a more spacious seating …. The Omakase is great but I can’t remember which dish I like best when I look back ….

We had the most wonderful, amazing meal here. The food and flavour combinations were truly unique, highlighting the seasonal vegetables with rich, fresh proteins from a variety of locations. A great wine combination was also recommended by the very friendly and professional waiters. An excellent cheese board too, faithful to Chef Gillon’s French heritage. A definite must go to if you are in Singapore, which we will do again when we are next that great city.

Been our 4th - 5th time dining at their wonderful restaurant. A few tables set for intimate dining with your loved ones & warm hospitality from the staffs & chefs. Vegetable/plants take centrestage in their menu while meat play a side role. Need to dine at least once & you will keep returning for their next season menu.

Lovely and heartwarming evening for us with Jag. We had the autumn's vegetarian degustation menu. Love the food and the people, the food are not just pretty and handsome, the taste and flavor are mesmerising, salute to Chef Jeremy and his team for their effort into creating such fine and elegant vegetarian dishes, highly recommended !

The space that JAG offers is a very intimate and friendly environment. The food they serve is very thoughtful and specially curated. We selected the vegetarian menu, to see how they execute the menu. They did not disappoint, every dish is very well explained. We even have a special birthday cake. Really well done! Keep up the good work!

A big 5-star for everything! It was a true pleasure to have delected herbs from the French alps and countless varieties of fresh vegetables from France.

We celebrated my husband's birthday at this restaurant. Food is very delicious, it's an art how it's prepared. Place is very cozy, a background music cool. We were very delighted to speak to Chef, who was approaching guests and checking if everything is alright. Super experience, 5 starts from us! Diana and Mathieu :) Highly Recommended!

Amazing effort and so thoughtful! Herb and vegetable led degustation menu.

  • 4/5 Cole M. 2 years ago on Google
Commendably done, small scale, vegetable-focused French cuisine. The core mission, a role reversal, making the vegetables the meal and any meat (100% vegetable option is available) the side, is overall a success. Unfortunately, service was underwhelming, especially considering we chose the wine pairing, but often couldn’t get good explanations with the pours. 4* for food, but 3* for service. Could return.

Very enjoyable and the 3 hours we sat there went very quickly, despite never feeling like we were 'waiting'. Good tasty food and loved the little cheese cart at the end. I had the 6 course and my wife the 4 course, the former definitely being the better menu imho. Very friendly and informative waiters, would go back. Loved the scallops and the venison courses.

The cooking is exceptionally creative. A mixture of different seafood, meat & vegetables assembled into a symphony of colors that is not only tasty but also appealing to the eyes. Our appreciation to Chef Jeremy for creating such masterpieces for our enjoyment.
