Gd day😃😃😃. We were actually looking for a place to quench our thirst (beer time!) When we were around this area that we found out that this Escape Restaurant has already moved up to level 6 of the hotel from the ground level . Atmosphere at this restaurant was fantastic, it's tranquil, undisturbed and unruffled placing you away from the hustle and bustle of that outside world and if you are looking for a place to chill and unwind after a hard day work. Bar food was delectable, chicken wings were juicy tender and crispy on the outside, simply mouth watering 😋, just that we felt it was little over salty. Calamari were savoury and paired well with beers to go. There's also a bar place outside the restaurant beside the swimming pool where patrons can sit at the alfresco settings. Staffs were very attentive, caring and loving . Kudos to all staffs at this restaurant. Only downside is the food are rather pricy each @$18 for the chicken wings and Calamari nonetheless its fine with us as we do appreciate its a hotel setting. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 definitely, you well deserved this and no doubt about it!!!!! Will definitely be back.

Introducing the Revamped À La Carte Menu at Escape Restaurant @onefarrerhotel, featuring Executive Chef Marcus Tan's creative fusion of hearty Western cuisine and inventive reinterpretations of local flavors, available starting April 2023. Back by popular demand is the Super Lobster Laksa, an enhanced rendition of the beloved classic. Crafted from a secret recipe, the mildly spicy broth is enhanced with a poached whole lobster. The lobster's inherent sweetness complements beautifully with the luxurious coconut milk-based broth. Meanwhile, the Wok Fried "Hor Fun" with Seared Ribeye Steak features velvety rice noodles bathed in the chef's homemade black bean sauce. On top of the noodles rests a tender, pan-seared beef ribeye steak. For sweet treats after a good meal, The Durian Salat showcases blue pea coconut rice pudding, fresh pandan cremeux, and a scoop of durian ice cream. It’s a pretty small restaurant located at Farrer Park Hotel. Ordered the steak with 2 sides. The sides were pretty small in portion comparing to the pics on them menu. The steak in the pic I’ve taken looks pretty good and presentable. But I feel that meat was a little too tough and not as tasty as it seems. Not a very good cut. The bread served was too hard, and it’s quite impossible to cut the bread into half to smear butter inside. Maybe the bread was left too long outside. Ordered the lobster bisque soup, it was luke warm. Service was normal. Overall, I don’t think I’ll come back again specially to dine there.

We have been to the previous Escape which served Buffet. This is a new Eacape steak house located in the 6th floor pool side. The area around the pool side is still going through some renovations but it has a huge space. The interior of the restaurant is rather small but the sewing can be improved. It doesn’t give you a cosy feeling because of the set up, lighting and furniture. Now about the food. We had ribeye, pork ribs, mozzarella tomatoes, mushroom soup, brownies and coffee. The food is excellent, from starter to dessert. The medium steak is done to perfection and the ribs are juicy and tender. Every dish is excellent. Also, they are having promotion on a few food reservation platforms. Appreciate Mirza, Velan, Yee Ping and Chun Lan who were so attentive to us. It really deserves 5stars

Simple yet comfortable atmosphere. Our orders included lobster laksa, pork ribs, and lamb shank. The lobster laksa stood out with its thick gravy and delightful curry aroma, making it our preferred dish among the three. The mocktail was a delightful and slightly sweet treat, served in a vibrant & pleasing color.

Great choice for lunch meeting! The price range of the main is around $25-30 and you can choose 2 side dishes. The portion is big as you can see from the photos , we tried pork rib, salmon and spring chicken. I ordered Crab Bisque … well I love anything ‘bisque’ and it’s amazing! Calamari is also a good choice for appetizer too.

Lovely poolside view if choosing to dine outdoors. If not, there's an air conditioned area too. Service staff while less experienced, more than make up for it with their earnest attitudes. Escape is currently running several dining promotions = in-house, Eatigo, Chope, and also listed on Love Dining by Amex, which is the best of the lot by far. The food is alright, we had 3 mains and a pasta, and while it isn't the best in town, the promotions, the quiet setting, and the wonderful staff, all make for a pleasant experience that would have me return there again in the near future.

Very average food, would not recommend coming here. It’s not terrible but not worth the price point. The staff are friendly and accommodating but not the best trained. As for ambience the pool area next to the restaurant seems nice but the restaurant itself did not have anything special about it. When we entered one of the air conditioners was leaking on the table we were meant to sit at, we had to request a change.

I bought their cake for takeaway for a birthday celebration and everyone enjoyed the chefs creation of absolute ivory. The sweetness was balanced nicely with the saltiness and nuts and would definitely try others next time

Portion was big and taste was good. Fish and chips was good but portion too little. The lamb, ribs and pasta had big portion. Quiet place, not crowded, kids friendly. The staff were friendly and accommodating and let us chat for hours after we have finished our meal. No complimentary parking.

This restaurant is located at 6F of Farrer Park hotel, just aside the swimming pool. The area of the restaurant is not big while the tables are placed quite close to one another, sometimes not easy to avoid the eye contact with the other quests sitting at the different tables The staff here are quite responsive and friendly, service is good however the steak is the worst while it is a steakhouse named in this restaurant. The reasons why we dislike their steak are 1. The steak is quite cold while my dish was served 2. The portion is quite small 3. The surface of the steak was not cooked well to the suitably crispy and caramelized 4. Some parts of the steak I even could not swallow even I chewed quite long. For a price of 70 SGD for wagyu striploin... I don't think it worths... However, the desserts are very nice

The ambience was a little weird, kind of like in an alternate universe because there is no one there except us for the entire evening. I had the mala prawn pasta and the steak. Definitely not the best steak but it was not the worst too. But the pasta was good and had the numbing effect.

Loved it. Staff was very polite and friendly. Food tasted great. Really appreciate how they were generous with the truffle oil in dishes that had them. Not many people because it's inside the hotel and also it was an early dinner. Particularly want to mention Velan and Prince who mainly served us and was very attentive to us and our needs.

Place was a bit challenging to find. It’s on the 6th level and you’ll have to walk to a connecting outdoor area before you reach the restaurant. Food was okayyyy… service was good thou! And there is free bread for appetiser!

Not sure why many feels the food is mediocre. My grassfed ribeye steak was excellent, perfect finishing, tenderness, flavor, and rather important priced decently, $35 for a hotel.

Came for early dinner and was impressed by the level of service from the staff. Food was great and reasonably priced. Lamb shank was a little dry for my liking though. Loved the steak, which was requested as medium rare, and the meat texture was just nicely done. The salmon steak was one of my favorites too, nicely cooked with a slight pink tint. Highly recommended for a quiet weekend gathering with great food and ample parking.

What attracts me each time I come is the politeness and kindness of the service crew. This time, I met Akash, Sundara and a female crew as well. They treated my patient friend in PMA vehicle well. We all 3 enjoyed the service, ambience and food. Thanks for this lunch escape space!

If you here for dinner. It’s excellent. 👌👍 the steak was done nicely with all the trimmings. Nice deco, have outdoor seatings. They also serve breakfast for hotel guests. That’s a bit disappointing due to the repetitive selections of dishes. Really need to invest into barista instead of using coffee machine. It’s a restaurant in a 5 stars hotel. Coffee not made correctly is unacceptable. Staff is polite but tea needs to be hot and egg cannot come out cold.

Cosy square room settings. Able to cater to large groups. Both indoor and outdoor settings are available. Outdoor settings will have an island bar, located next to the hotel's guests swimming pool. Service is great. They keep filling up your glass before it went empty. Amex 15% discount at time of dining. The food tasted great too. No complains.

This place is not the easiest to find and perhaps it was meant not to be found. Very small dining area, no more than 10 tables. Casual setting, nothing much. Ceiling has water dripping from the aircon vents. One thing good it is quiet. Food was basic, for the price it’s below average. Prawns are not devein and no mala. And it’s probably those frozen you purchase from supermarkets. Pasta was overcooked. The lamb shank was very tough. Doesn’t fall off the bone. Was fighting with the protein to eat it. Their alcoholic drinks serve in plastic wares. How cheap can you go. Service was ordinary. Even though not many people but still slow. Rather disappointing from a restaurant with the price they are charging. If you don’t believe go try it yourself.

3.5/5 served with a warm bread that lowkey had swee heng vibes. got the miso salmon with mash. mash was not bad! i liked the texture and taste. salmon was also soft and had some teriyaki sauce? but i think that’s supposed to be the miso. a lower score overall because it’s not worth for its price but decent enough food.

We had a great dining experience at Escape. Food was really good with nice plating. All their desserts were very nice and not too sweet. Their service was really good. All their staffs were so friendly, helpful and welcoming. The outdoor ambience was nice with pool view and windy. Will definitely come back again!

Service was on point by a set of attentive and friendly crew. The Angus Rib-Eye Steak and Hangover Burger were done pretty well and portions were generous. Do try the mushroom velout perfumed with truffle oil. Absolutely delicious! Skip the Lobster Laksa - a real disappointment as we had expected the ingredients to be fresh. The lobster was TOO mushy for my liking. The Tandoori Chicken was tasty and the dips complemented the chicken and naan well. We were too full for dessert, thanks to the hearty portions. Overall an enjoyable dining experience. Will be back to try other dishes on the menu.

Food was amazing! Lamb shanks, pork ribs and prawn are my favourites. The waiter and waitress service is top notch and very welcoming too. Thank you!
