🫀 The two stars are purely for the service staff who were attentive and friendly. Food wise, I'd say it was pretty terrible. I paid about slightly under 40 nett for this buffet that turned out to be bad. There was probably around 20 dishes and most of them bad. In fact it reminded me of military cook... The two stars are purely for the service staff who were attentive and friendly. Food wise, I'd say it was pretty terrible. I paid about slightly under 40 nett for this buffet that turned out to be bad. There was probably around 20 dishes and most of them bad. In fact it reminded me of military cookhouse food. The lamb was grotesquely over cooked and tough and still retained an overly gamey smell. The vegetables were already limp and soft. The crayfish meat was chalky and powdery, same goes for the free chilli crab, you can tell its frozen and not fresh crab by the quality of the meat. Probably the only thing that deserves praise was the laksa. It was creamy, spicy and very flavourful and better than most laksa outside. The isnt the quality you'd expect from a hotel and I'd say for this price point, there are better buffets out there.

During this 4th lockdown (Sep 27-Oct 29, 2021), the Square @Furama has a 50% discount on their buffets, so for less than $20.00, you get an international buffet. We had steaks, lamb, sashimi and even chilly crabs. Now that’s value for money as if you add another $15.00, you get free flow of wine and beer. Service was good but food quality not the best, hence 4-stars.

The square@furama is amazing! Great value buffet if you were to purchase discount coupon from websites. Fresh salmon, Tuna, prawn and shell are available! The cooked food are great, there’s salted egg prawn! Totally loving it. The baby ribs and lamb are not that nice. I’m a baby ribs person but the ribs were really hard. There’s lots of different salad available! Bread is available as well! It’s a very good buffet despite some food aren’t that great.

Full house on Christmas day dinner time. Reasonably priced at $38++ for the buffet. Food was nothing much to shout about except for the sashimi, scallops, fresh prawns and snow crab legs which were very fresh. There was a 1.5 L bottled water for $3 at each table or you can pay $3 per pax and get free flow of soft drinks. I brought my own drink after reading reviews that the drink was chargeable. Service was prompt and polite. Was shocked that had to Q up for food instead of being served. But it was a good idea as obtaining the food was much easier, though initially there was a long Q, but once everyone got their first round and seated, there was hardly any Q. In this way, the restaurant save on manpower too. Parking is complimentary. Do remember to ask for it when paying. I forgot about it but the staff offered. Kudos to him!

The buffet food choices are quite limited. The seafood station consist of 4 item. The hot station also only had 5 or 6 choices. There is only 1 choice of soup, and 3 kinds of noodle dished ala minute.

Dinne : Missed desserts corner. Items served not as per menu. The cakes are not nice except chocolate cake. Choices tonight only 10% are good Cold corner: sashimi ok. Prawns are fresh. Cold spanner crabs,no good. Clams, gong gong and mussels not nice. Cooked food: beef and ribs with saucewas good . Butternut pumpkin soup too diluted, no taste. Chilli crab was good. Was not inform till ask. Laksa with one mini abalone tasted ok. Grilled lamb uncooked, saw raw red meat when cut. Took another piece, hard, overcooked. Baked chicken , took wing, meat too hard. Spring roll prawns, not nice. Turkey is average. Should have better sauce than strawberry. Should include plain water. Sausage was good. Mixer vegy acceptable.

Had buffet lunch there. Waited for 1h 10mins then some food was served to me. Grilled chicken was raw, cold and sticky inside. Grilled salmon was raw. Waited for 1h 40mins and only a few prawns was served. Service was extremely slow as well. Would rate 0/5 stars if possible. Never coming back again. LOUSY!

Was very disappointed with the food and the spread, it was really limited and the portion they gave was so little, the environment was dark and not bright. People were laughing out loud and like covid was over. The staff was good and well mannered except for some. They help to clear our cutlery after we ate. I think they can be in uniform so that we can identify them as a staff. Really not worth the price.

One of the more affordable Christmas buffet. Came here because of the turkey but it was too salty. What a pity. The cold dishes were good. Salmon & boiled prawns were fresh. Each table given a serving of chili crab for dinner. Comes with 3 Mantou (for 2 of us). A bit too sweet & sour. Due to COVID-19, we can't scoop the food ourselves, have to ask the Chefs behind the trays. A bit restrictive, but still OK. Drinks are not included, have to add $3++ person for free flow of sodas/ coffee/ tea. Have to order dessert through the waitress. Can't really see & pick. The 'log cake' looks more like mini Swiss roll. At this price, I would say it's reasonable. Can claim carpark coupon.

#birthdaytreat Booked this during March 8 promo on @eatigo_sg so have 50% off. Two of us billed at S$38 at The square at Furama. The eat all you can buffet don’t include drinks, + S$3++ for free flow drinks, + S$2 for a 1L mineral water that we opted for. ,. I like the salmon with white cream, thick and pretty good, I had a big plate of it. The cold prawn is fresh and succulent. Salmon sashimi is fresh and sweet. Potato and pasta salad is nicely prepared too. The signature laksa is flavorful, I added some cold prawn in it, and sambal chilli = Shiok. πŸ˜‹πŸ‘. Coffee pork rib is tough and pretty hard to bite though, white fungus soup is a tad salty and the cake is quite dry. The buffet include one serving of crab. The spread is quite limited, but for the price I think is value for money. πŸ˜‹. Thank you @furamasingapore for the complimentary slice of birthday cake. It taste pretty nice πŸ‘πŸ˜‹ ,. For those whom are not driving the restaurant might not be very accessible as the neartest MRT would be about 15mins walk away. The prawns, scallops and shellfish were fresh but lacks varieties, out of the approximately 8 hot dishes available only the laska is good, rest was average at best. Salmon and tuna sashimi were limited and so where the sushi variety. Overall it's a average buffet restaurant that served decent food with very prompt and friendly staff. The biggest downside was their lack of varieties for a $50++ buffet.

Just had a buffet dinner at this restaurant. The food quality is good and the staff service is excellent. We enjoyed the chili crab, salmon, char kway teow, baked cheese scallops, garlic prawns , Yang chow fried rice and rojak. As part of the safe distancing measure , there are about 7 staff attending to all the orders and they will pick the food from the buffet spread and deliver to us. Our tables are placed close to two meters apart. The service is impeccable and staff made every effort to ensure that we have our orders delivered quickly with a smile.

This is my 3rd time here and I must say that the standard and quality of food has improve a lot πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ» considering the price, I don’t expect a lot, but I was surprised by how the tasty the food is. Service was excellent, staff are so prompt at attending to our requests. Overall, had a wonderful experience. Definitely coming back for more!!

Buffet spread limited and the restaurant since like not operate by the hotel as staff wearing own clothing serving you. Feel like eating in an air condition staff canteen. The 2 star are for the laksa and the 1 severe only chilli carb.

I'd say this place looks and feels a little tired and quite past its glory days. But I feel this place is still a gem which offers amazing value (especially with Eatigo discount) for the buffet price that it charges. I like how the pad thai is freshly cooked upon order.
