I went for a haircut with senior stylist Ivy and she is so nice and respectful!! i think this is the nicest my hair has looked in my entire lifetime, they are really good and communicative! they also gave me tips on styling my hair. overall i REALLY love this place

Lovely setting. Full of life and energy! Loved this place so much. The kruffle buffet is 15 a person, and an extra 5 for any drink. All the drinks were phenomenal! The food was very good especially the cinnamon and cheese with corn kruffles! They stop taking buffet order at 10:50, so come earlier to have plenty of time to try all the kruffles, as the service is a little slow. Overall very good value for what you get, especially with the phenomenal design of the place!

Had a pleasant experience at Walking on Sunshine Cafe at Orchard Central last Friday . Heard and read the good reviews and decided to personally experience the place. This is a cafe cum beauty salon. A nice and cool place with luscious greenery and flowers aplenty. Certainly a pleasant experience to enjoy our drink and waffle and chill in a calming botanical atmosphere. Unfortunately, due to the current pandemic situation plus the ongoing renovation, certain parts of the place are cordoned off. Overall, we were pleased with the food, ambience and customer service. My first try at this Salon, with Senior stylist Nik He provided a very good service and friendly. where he listened to my request for my hair and he was very gently when washing my hair. Really appreciated his effort that he done for me.

Ambience is very on point! Had some conflict with the staff but she handled it very professionally! Sunshine breakfast is nice! Especially the smoked pork sausage and hashbrown! Huge portion of scrambled eggs! The moisture is just nice and not too dry. Salmon's from Luke's Favourite is well done with the crispy skin!

A very unique cafe sited in the heart of Orchard Road. At first glance, you would think this cafe is a plant shop and you would certainly feel like you are eating in one. Menu is extensive with Korean-inspired flavours. Drinks menu also extensive with unique coffee creations that even infuse ginseng.

There’s less than 5 table in weekday morning. It took ages to serve 2 kroffles. If you don’t want people eat too much at the buffet, don’t even offer this. Don’t delay the serving and tell me last order already passed. This is hypothetical

Overall experience is amazing, from the waiting area to the end my treatment. The environment is very clean and comfortable, specially the chair. My hair stylist, Angie is very nice, knowledgeable and understands my needs. As my scalp is very sensitive, she did her best avoid it as it will be very painful for it. Very meticulous lady. So if looking for a hair stylist, please look for her. She will definitely make your day :)

Tried their Headspa session.. Its basically washing hair in salon. Generally the hair feels gd after the session. But tats about it. Nothing fanciful, nothing special... worth the $120+..... My Frank Opinion - NO. Outlet located at Level 3 of orchard central neae Uniqlo, Once u see lots of plants hanging around, you are there. When u arrive, pls upfront say you are here for Headspa, else everyone will look at you as if u are at the wrong place. Turn off! You are required to scan a QR code and enter ur particulars before the session. Place is cramped, and if u are tall built, people will accidentally kicked ur leg while ur headspa is ongoing... turn off!

Place looks beautiful and has a jungle theme (in a good way). The team is really talented and they’re super helpful. I had senior stylist Jessica do a cut and dye and three of her team members surrounded her to assist in wrapping my hair in Cling to set the dye which made the whole process super fast. They readily lent me a charger too and there was enough space to put my laptop and work while waiting for everything to be done. I was really satisfied with the customer experience, the hair cut, ambience and care from the team :)

The queue management was great and there's always somebody attending to you. They gave an ample time of 1.5hrs dining time and the service staffs were polite and professional despite the crowd. There was even a little bell at my table to call for service whenever I need. The foods were excellent (I chose from their best seller list) and I especially like my prawn pizza. It was best ate when it was served with the stretchy mozzarella still there. My least favorite was the Kroffle as it felt just like normal waffle. Free tap water was available upon request.

My first try here at this salon and the senior stylist Kary was so friendly. She advice me on how i can care for my hair at home. There's no hard selling also. The experience was perfect!

I’ve been coming to Walking on Sunshine to get my roots re-coloured by Angie and it’s always amazing how I get such good care at her hands 🙌 The colour is amazing and exactly what I like! The salon is bright and cheery with high-ceiling, natural light and lots of plants which makes it feel calm and happy!🪴 Nina gives the most amazing shampoos and head massages so I don’t suffer any of the post dye itch on my scalp. Overall, it’s always a great experience and my go-to place for my hair colouring needs.

Meo was incredible! Super patient and informative. I couldn’t do the hair perm that I intended, and I really appreciate that she took the time to explain and curate an alternative cut and look to achieve the same result! She understood the assignment 💯

I have always had Kary as my stylist, and she’s such a pro, but every other person who comes out of Walking on Sunshine at Orchard Rd. looks smashing. I know we all feel good, too. Every haircut is a full head treatment, from shampoo to the last little final touches. Easy on the eyes and ears- music is on but does not blast. Greenery and gentle lighting, not too hot, not too cold. Every visit has been a Goldilocks visit, just right!

The absolute best experience I have ever had while getting my hair done. COMPLIMENTARY DRINK! ANGIE IS AMAZING!!!!! Superb attention to detail and incredibly attentive to my wants. I had my hair cut from Long (mid back)to medium (shoulder length). Level 2 virgin hair (thick and coarse, tends to be on the dry side) to level 7, toned ash blonde. Start to finish, only took 3 hours and 20 minutes. I am from the USA on holiday, and will not hesitate to come back when I can!

Honestly, while service is not bad… The services they offer does not commensurate with the amount charged. I got a portion of my hair bleached once and dyed with treatment. It totalled $500. I did not feel the results were worth the price paid because the color was not noticeable though the stylist assured me it would look better in bright light….. You could definitely get better results elsewhere. They initially attempted to charge me even more for the hair coloring but I was not willing to pay more. I should’ve just left after I realized they wouldn’t be able to do what I wanted at a reasonable price. I could sense some coldness after they realized my pockets were not deep enough.

I had a great time at Walking On Sunshine. The place is really beautiful, decorated like a fairy garden :) Everyone is so nice and welcoming :-D I definitely recommend WOS !

first time visiting this cafe and the overall experience was great. the food was great, the ambience was stunning, and the service was highly commendable. Had to mention the service crew Paula for her astounding hospitality. she find time to ask the guests about how the food is and what do we need. overall, perfect place to dine especially for people looking for an instagrammable place.

Ive done my hair with Shinji and Anita for over 3 years. Shinji has always taken such good care of my hair and only recommending the best possible routes for what i want to do with my hair. he gives alternatives if he thinks what im going for wont suit me and/or if my hair cant undergo the process (bleaching damage). Leaving WOS makes me feel amazing after every visit because i know my hair looks amazing and it makes me feel so happy. The atmosphere is also great and i get my favourite buttercream latte everytime im there ♡ Anita always does shampooing so well and its always so relaxing to have the head massage done by her! Shes bubbly and lovely to talk to and gives great advice on hair care too :-) (ladies, she ties hair nicely too) Love doing my hair with Shinji and Anita, and ill be back soon!

The ambience is very warm and inviting, clearly a very unique decor. We just had coffee and Kroffle, the coffee flavour was good but the hot coffee came to the table as lukewarm. The Kroffle was soggy but was promptly changed when requested. Overall, I would recommend it as an experience if you are in the area.

Unique Place to Meet Friends The ambience of this place is really different with plants everywhere. In fact, you'd be asking yourself if this is a plant shop, hair dresser or cafe. Answer is the latter 2. They have a huge space, so there are many tables at this joint. Given the spaces between tables are reasonably far apart, it's a place you'd like to hang out a bit. Service at the Cafe is great. A call button in available on every table so you don't worry if you will be noticed by a service staff. Food is at the alright level though. Some of the food items just don't go together in one dish. I didn't try everything, so I cannot say this for all menu items to be fair. I would definitely come here to hangout though.

I have been to the salon a few times. Today I got a great haircut with Kary. She immediately understood what I wanted and gave good recommendations on how to cut my fringe. Very pleased with the outcome. Overall the salon has a great atmosphere. From the lush interior to the friendliness of the staff. The head massage was also super relaxing. Will definitely come back again.

Enjoyed the croffles. The lychee was refreshing. croffles was crispy, many diff textures. Mix well with chocolate.

My second time experience for a hair cut. As usual, the customer service here has always been consistently good. All the staff I engaged are friendly and smiley. Catherine's service is above and beyond. She styled my hair even tho I was there only for curtain fringe cut. Price here is reasonable. Ambience is a little dated considering they have been around the same venue for many years. However, it's the service and people that draws me back. Hopefully the management could consider to refresh the Ambience eventually.

A restaurant that exceeded my expectations. Environment here is beautiful and comfy. The attitude of their waiters are very friendly and does not make me feel burdened. The food is really delicious and the portions are sufficient. It is completely worth the price.

The amenities are very relaxing and equipment is high-end. They even provide a refreshing drink to go along with the service! Environment is clean and nice to be in. My hairdresser, Nixie, was a delight to work with. She asked for my preferences and gave her professional opinions about it before proceeding with the styling. She made sure I was very comfortable throughout the whole service as well. I was shocked to find out that she was only stylist as I felt like I was attended to by a senior stylist/director! I would definitely recommend her to anyone :) 10/10!!!

just did root colour a week ago, used the non ammonia colour to do root colour since the ammonia burns my scalp badly, but these are the results, I dont think my root is coloured evenly and, still black... the customer service is good, and even the lady who washed my hair is good. just not sure if spending 130- 140~ bucks is worth it for a one inch root colour

I have been doing Keratin treatment and I tried their Cinderella treatment for the first time. And the result is amazing!! My hair now is very soft, look natural and not too flat which what I've been looking for. And I had a very relaxing time with stylist Nixie. Will definitely come back again. Thanks Nixie!

A cafe and hair saloon in one. Interesting place with beautiful ambience. They also had an art jamming section when I was there. I enjoyed the Iberico Pork Jowl I ordered. Menu has interesting looking options. Will certainly return to try their other offerings.

I had an appointment with Senior Stylist Nicole for a balayage. It’s my first time getting my hair done professionally so I was really scared but Nicole talked me through the process and advised me on the suitable colour/shade for me when I showed her my inspiration photos. She also asked about my hair colouring history to ensure that she can appropriately advise about the expected outcome for my hair. The entire process was very clear and there are no hidden prices. It was very relaxing and I love the end result!

Beautiful garden cafe to spend your day. But there’s a sticker on the table that can only stay for 90 mins. Foods are nice and served fast. But too much kewpie on my vegetables 🥗 accommodating and friendly staffs. Will surely come back next time.

This garden-themed Korean cafe is so inviting! Food, drinks, desserts are pretty good as well! For spicy food lovers, I highly recommend the Jeyuk Sotbab, very appetising! I don’t usually finish rice but I finished this! Must try their ginseng drinks too, not commonly found elsewhere. Come here for the aesthetic, not the food. The interior is certainly breathtaking but the food doesn't take your breath away. The disparity between the decoration and the deliciousness is 30-40%. Kimchi fries were very normal. Avocado milkshake was sad. Seafood pancake was very doughy. Kroffle was passable.

This is my 1st visit as it appeared when i google search for hair salon at orchard area. I was being assigned to a director Nicole to do my hair. She is very cool yet very knowledgeable in getting the right hairstyle for me. There's one thing she said is that she can do whatever she think is nice for me. I really love her confidence and charm!!! Overall i am satisfied and i will be back ❤ Nice salon and staff too 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Was a very relaxing hair spa experience. I told them that I was there mostly for the hair massage and they tried to spend more time on head massage at each step. Very warm and attentive staff. Sawyer, my hair stylist, was patient in explaining the step wise process and did a great job! I will surely visit again.

I’ve been coming over to Walking on Sunshine for a haircut a couple of times now. Each time was a pleasant experience. Booking of appointment was a breeze. They offer you a drink of your choice as soon as you enter and the haircut done by my stylist, Kary, was to my liking. My stylist or the staff there did not pressure/hardsell me into doing additional hair services while getting my haircut so that’s a plus point! Overall, I highly recommend this place. My hair looks good and I feel good too. Will be coming back again.

I came a bit early, and the Sunshine staff immediately offered me and offered me some refreshments. They did not even wait for me to be seated inside, they were prompt to make me feel welcome. Amazing service. One more thing, the listen to want to you want for your hair and offer also some suggestion. Nik my hairdresser, seemed new but he was good.

Had a really good experience this evening! Was on virtual meetings all day and the staff were very helpful in lending me a charging cable when my phone was running out of battery. Andrew the supervisor was also very observant to notice I was in a virtual meeting and extremely helpful to find me a quiet table which had a working power connection and so I could continue my call. The food was also excellent and the atmosphere is quite conducive and relaxing. Would come back again soon!

A pleasant experience dining here. The interior is surrounded by lush greenery and dried flowers. Food wise, the corn pizza was really tasty and addictive. Salmon Aglio Olio was good too. The Kroffles were interestingly delicious, the texture was indeed a hybrid between croissant and waffles. A great place for dates or hanging out with friends.

Asked for light blonde underlights, got patchy orange underlights instead. Bleach was slapped on sloppily for just 30 minutes for the first round. After shampooing and toning, I wasn’t satisfied with how my hair turned out and was told that I could go for another round of bleach on other parts of my hair. After 20 minutes and another round of rinsing, my hair turned out blotchy. The stylist just told me that the colours were uneven and did nothing to fix it - besides styling it (??). While I appreciate how nice and friendly the staff is, I don’t think I’ll come back or recommend this place. I’m sorry.

I've never leave this salon feeling unsatisfied, the service, the staff, the product that they use, the ambience, it's all top notch (even their choice of music, it's not tacky!) I hate the feeling of walking out from the salon, hating on how my hair looks like. But never once I experience that in Walking on Sunshine. They'll listen to your request, on what kind of look you want to achieve, but also recommend you what works best for your hair. Overall, super satisfied! I will never shut up about this to my friends around if they're looking for a good salon and a good hairstylist (I always go for Catherine, she's such a pro!!)

My visit was a walk-in one - and it was such a pleasant surprise! The surroundings were amazing and I felt so relaxed throughout the process. Had a haircut by Senior Director Nicole who was extremely professional, friendly and helpful in dishing out tips and advice. She is genuine in wanting to help me with my hair issues and gave very useful and easy tips to follow. The hairwashing was such a relaxing experience where I received a bit of a head massage as well. Loved that they served coffee/flower teas/juices from their cafe! Such a treat!
