So creative! And the ingredients are actually high end too. It’s not just nice plating and Instagrammable dishes but the flavors and textures are yummy too. I got the 7 course Omakase, but they have a budget friendly lunch menu too. Highly recommend!

The service is fantastic, apart from the description of the dish by the server is a bit muffled by the mask, and we struggled to hear the ingredients or even what dish is served on to the table. I ordered one set meal and a few tapas for the two of us; the server is very thoughtful and brought us sharing plate and utensils The portion is just lovely, and the ingredients are top-notch.

We loved the raw oyster with a kimchi based sauce and the melt in your mouth Jamon with sweet cherry tomatoes. The cocktails were not very fancy but it was creatively mixed and tasted well. It is located in a business area so is a good place to entertain business clients or partners or a nice wind me down meal with colleagues after work. Service was good. Toilet is clean.

Read of this restaurant in a magazine and decided to give it a try. True to the article, the food was good. Especially their specialty, the capellini starter. The sauce for the capellini tasted like heavens. There is this sourness that is not overpowering and delicately balanced by other flavors. 😋😋😋. We also tried theur other starters befire finishing up with the lamb which was tender and juicy. The eggplant tempura was super good. The sommelier recommended a bottle to pair with order. It was a good match too. Service was friendly and professional. Will surely go back again and of course, will not miss out the capellini.

White asparagus with uni, iberico pork risotto, plus an amazing triple tomato dish made up part of what was one of the best dinners I have had in Singapore in recent times. Perfectly paired with beautifully balanced, chilled sake in wine glasses. Kudos to Chef Li Si Toh and team.

Excellent food at BAM! - would recommend the a la carte menu over the tasting/degustation menu as the (seafood) a la carte dishes appealed to us more. Highlights of the meal were the seafood paella, crab cakes and sea bass! There wasn’t a dish that we did not enjoy.

The decor of this place is quite nice, frequented by a good mix of local and foreigners. I find the dishes a little hit and miss. The sakura ebi capelli was quite nice with a nice texture and flavoring. The tomato soda bread was a little too crispy and the jamon was a little dry. I did not like the duck gyoza but my friend liked it. Unaminously, everyone liked the seafood paella - the seafood was very nicely cooked and the paella had a very nice rich seafood flavor to it. I wished the pistachio tart had more pistachio and less cream in it.

Came here for a special occasion, we didn't even tell them this, but they made it feel like a special event on a weeknight. Their omakase (mostly an assortment of their a la carte dishes) was a more experimental take on some of the ingredients, such as the uni with corn or seared abalone with boneless chicken wings over risotto. All the dishes were unique and flavourful, with some small surprises. The staff were very friendly and attentive, including the chefs saying goodbye to us when we left. Would go back to check out some of the other interesting dishes on the tapas menu too!

Visited with restaurant week menu. Five star for service as there was adequate attention. Good quality was pretty decent. We love the scallop and prawn dish.

Really enjoyed the omakase (5 courses) with sake pairing. The staff is nice and very attentive. The only downside would probably be the dishes’ lack of risk and inventiveness - don’t get me wrong, everything tastes amazing (esp. fish based courses) but I would have loved to see a bit more of the chef’s personality.

We had the 7-course “omakase” with instructions for no sugar and low carbs for one of the meals. Dishes were generally tasty and creatively plated. Finally, came the dessert and the below were presented… I’m not expecting fine art for every dish, but at this price point - a bowl of sad looking nuts and some hastily-played cheese slices delivered next to the scripted dessert just came across lazy and certainly not “omakase”. I’m averaging the 4 and 2 star meals we had in the same seating.

Second last night in Singapore ended with a big BAM! @bam.singapore we found the most impressive dining experience so far during our entire stay. The variety of textures and flavors was truly mindblowing and 100% @damnyumberlin -worthy. I went for the Omasake - a chef‘s surprise menu of five courses. Every single course was a new explosion of bursting flavors tickling my taste buds. I‘ll let the pictures speak for themselves. This was an incredible dining experience and I can only recommend everyone to try it themselves! Perfect combination of products and magnificent elaboration. Not a dessert big fan. High price but well worth it. Excellent service.

Came during restaurant week and had a 4 course meal for lunch. The food was really good! The crispy poached egg was interesting though the egg wasn’t as runny as expected The scallop and prawns were very fresh The pork loin was quite tasty as it wasn’t dry and hard Dessert was coffee jelly with ice cream, nice ending to the meal. Overall a pleasant experience. Service was okay but nothing to shout about. What’s good is they weren’t pushy about getting you to order drinks or anything else so that was good

Bam, if you're reading this, please please keep the seafood paella on the menu. I didn't come here expecting good paella, but this knocked it out of the park. So many places fail to get the socarrat at the bottom of the pan, the crispy rice where all the flavour is. This place did it perfectly. The seafood portion was generous, the shrimp sweet, the tempura bits provided just the right bit of crunch. I'll even forgive the use of a couple of chorizo slices thrown in (ask Jamie Oliver what the Spanish do when they find out you've put chorizo in paella!) I would come back again and again just for this dish.

Excellent restaurant! We took omakase menu. The quantity was just right. Good combination of the freshness of seafood and earthy sweetness flavor. The dish keeps surprising you from amuse bouche to dessert. Will definitively come back!

We visited the restaurant as we had a Haute dining offer. Well worth the cost as the courses were exquisite! We tried the following: 1) Amuse Bouche 2) Corn Soup N25 Caviar (sure didn’t look or feel like soup but it was good!), Crouton, Popcorn 3) Hokkaido Scallop, Bouchot Mussels, Zucchini Purée, Apple Gel, Scallop Emulsion 4) Obsiblue Prawn, Purple Artichoke Chip & Purée, American Sauce 5) Japanese Amadai, Tomato Consomme, Mint and Chive Oil, Edamame - the only time I’ve actually enjoyed edamame 6) Iberico Pork Jowl, Nduja Risotto, Summer Black Truffle 7) Challand Duck, Summer Cherry, Fresh Almond, Barberry Gel, Potato Purée, Duck Jus All the courses were so good! We were also served Pre Dessert, Dessert and Petit Fours. Service was acceptable. There was one waiter who was a bit aloof, but not rude. We also tried their unique cocktails. Can’t recall the names but I think it was a Bampire and Pina Sake? The Bampire has a nice limey taste.

Bam Spanish European Japanese mishmash tapas and sake bar with a good sized wine list as well. Vibe was modern western, with an open kitchen to watch the chefs. We recommend the Seafood Paella, the charred parts the most! The Damage (no drinks): S$150-350 for two ~~TRY😍: // Red King Crab Cake // Seafood Paella ~~OKAY🙂: // Duck Gyoza // French Onion Soup Follow us at IG: eatsmorefun

Excellent food, friendly staff, Japanese/Spanish Fusion Omakase Friendly staff, especially Hardev who was warm and welcoming. And of course, the talented handsome head chef, Shang Jhi! My husband and I have eaten at many omakase and other gastro dining places at this point, and we surprised at the tastiness and quality of each dish at Bam! We did the 7-course omakase and each dish was a hit. Not an easy feat! Highly recommend.
