Mother's
Day
Decided
to
clock
my
17th
half
marathon
this
year,
from
JLG
to
Boat
Quay.
Due
to
lack
of
mid-week
jogs,
stamina
is
not
as
good
as
expected.
Through
endurance
and
determination,
both
my
feet
managed
to
carry
my
body
weight
to
complete
the
distance.
The
reward
is
a
bottle
of
isotonic
drink
and
scenic
view
along
Singapore
River.
Handphone
nowadays
is
good
enough
to
capture
nice
pictures.
Of
course,
you
can
miss
the
popular
Hutong
along
the
Singapore
River.
Cheers!

大年初十,
sunny
morning.
Decided
to
conquer
the
6th
half
marathon
in
2021.
After
completing
5
at
Tuas
Lamp
Post
1,
this
time
i
decided
to
jog
to
Clarke
Quay.
The
cat
sent
me
off.
From
Jurong
Lake
Gardens,
to
Boon
Lay
Way,
Commonwealth
Ave
West,
Alexandra
Rd,
then
Clarke
Quay.
This
is
a
safer
and
more
comfortable
route
as
the
PCN
is
well
connected
and
the
path
is
lined
with
trees.
Quite
breezy
and
jog
towards
the
morning
sun.
However,
certain
stretch
is
below
the
MRT
track,
be
careful
of
the
pigeons
dropping.
Spotted
a
few
groups
of
cyclists
cycling
towards
Tuas.
I'm
sure
they
are
going
to
Lamp
Post
1.
In
contrary,
only
a
few
jogging
sparingly
towards
city.
From
Ng
Teng
Fung
Hospital,
Bus
Academy,
TradeHub,
Holiday
Inns,
Central
@Clarke
Quay.
Finally
arrived
at
Hutong,
a
famous
Northern
Chinese
eatery.
A
good
place
to
try
Beijing
food
without
flying.
Bougbt
a
bottle
of
A&W
at
Cheers
before
taking
mrt
back
home.
