This restaurant failed on multiple fronts 1) service - No clean/ empty bowls or plates provided until multiple requests made in spite of it supposedly being a β€œbuffet”. Understand that it is COVID times and they are supposed to reduce sharing possibly but these are basic items that are required for consumption of food. Furthermore, there was no one to clear the plates from our table after we were done with them. In spite of the many staff walking around looking rather free. This resulted in us stacking the used plates along the side of the table till the neighbouring table, which the staff eventually after a long time decided to clear. 2) food quality Basically, tried almost all the food. Nothing was good other than the chicken satay and the cold prawns. Seafood, other than the prawns, were not fresh at all. Scallops which were supposed to be baked were completely raw. The oysters were covered in some strange tomato sauce which made it completely unedible. Double boiled soup was sour. Chicken rice tasted like steamed rice. Sashimi was strangely tasteless as well. For the prices paid, it was a complete disappointment. Will never come back again.

The place is well decorated. The food taste great. But we were quite disappointed with some of our orders that never turn up. We went there at 8.15pm and they told us that their last order is 9.30pm. I guess many food had finished and that's the reason some of our food never turn up on our table. They should have told us at the entrance so atleast we can decide to go somewhere else better to enjoy our dinner with that kind of price. Seriously there are many places for us to choose. Our dinner had ruined with feeling so unsatisfied. Felt cheated!! Not worth the money! This company only interested in taking your money! Highly Not RECOMMENDED!! Raffles City management please take note...

Food selection is good. No sauces selection. Asked for chili padi & NO was the answer. No alternative provided. Food quality is below average. Satay & Sushi is good! Dessert are watery and small bites in size. Service from staff is not acceptable. They tend to bang the dishes on the table when serving. No plates provided after dishes are served. Some ordered dishes take 30mins to be served. Poor customer service. Not returning. Nice ambience and please buck up on Customer Service.

The lone Star was given for the good service standards of the staff. Almost everything else was bad .....it was an excruciating dining experience, which makes the existence of this establishment simply appalling, and the former 5-star reviews and words of praises simply questionable. First off: why do I need to pay before I even receive my food? Even when eating at hawker centres we pay only when the food is prepared and physically presented to us, so it's downright strange that we need to pay upon entry, even before we sit down. Please name me another F&B outlet when you pay first even before you were shown to your seat? Next up, please have some decency in your food? Laksa is NOT the same as Noodles with Satay Sauce. Salmon Salad must NEVER be served in a glass. Pasta must NEVER be done "Mee Goreng style". And please, if your food is bad, at least served it warm: my Mee Goreng (Spaghetti Bolognese) came to me abt 30 seconds after I put down the iPad, I almost tot it was a rejected order left out in the cold. And how you managed to get your prawn tempura tasted like fish cake is absolutely beyond me. To be fair, I haven't tasted everything...nor do I get to see how the food is being prepared, because paying $100 for two diners landed us in a secluded corner behind all else right at the back. No fancy decor or excuisite lightings you see in the pictures, just like some back-door food court corner eating low quality steamboat with...oops the flame went off after just 5 mins. If I put my $100 on McDonalds I'm sure we'll both feel much much much happier. We understand it is tough these days due to the pandemic, but it's no excuse to short change your customers like this...it's a hideous Crime!

Date and time visited - 20 Jan 2021 5.50pm Price $38.80 excluding 10% service charge and 7% GST. Price - 2 stars (consider low as compared to many hotel buffet but the varieties just couldn't make it) Variety - 1 stars Taste - 2 stars Overall - 1 stars (If i can, i will give 0 stars. (Im not joking)) COME AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! Im not sure why there are so many 5 stars given (I REALLY WONDER). I have ate better buffet before. The reason for me coming is that i saw many good reviews. Have never wanted to try here bcos of the price as i preferred a slight pricier ones because their quality and varieties are most of the time better. Im very disappointed in their service and quality of their food. We reach like 5.50pm though the restaurant will open at 6pm. I thought the restaurant will at least sit us in to make us feel comfortable. Yes... You guess it right... No they did not. Because they are busy chatting away. One of the gals just told us one queue up and the rest wait outside the queue. Exactly at 6pm sharp, the gal came over and ask me for my name and number paxs bla bla bla. After paying we were ushered to our table. The gal we have to place our food order through an IPad and the maximum items per order is 20. But their system sucks every order that we keyed in, it will takes around 15 to 30 mins for it to come. The food that comes are often lukewarm if not warm. Mind you... Its really lukewarm...meaning close to cold. How do you eat a chilli crab which is not hot. We order quite a few times but all came lukewarm. Isnt it true that it should be served piping hot? To make matter worse this restaurant i believe wasted a lot of food. Because the Chilli Crab was served together with 2 pieces of mantou. So imagine i order 5 chilli crab and we were served 10 mantou. we did not finish the mantou. So imagine how many mantou has to be thrown away everyday. Not sure why they cannot serve the mantou under another item instead of banding them together? If you think the food is bad their service is bad as their food. Inattentive, rude, cannot be bothered attitude. Im not sure if the restaurant is shorthanded. But we only have like maybe 8 tables so it shouldnt be too hard serving all the customers. When we call the server how do we check what was being ordered. She just told us to look at the IPad.... What a joke... Please dont tell me that we do not know how an Ipad works. But which part of the Ipad should we look into?? We tried but we dont see the order that we punch in. Then she asked did you order within 20 items. Yes, of course because anything more than that you cant even sent. Then she asked us how many times did we sent our orders....We said quite a few times because many times we are unsure what else we wanted so we just sent first. Guess what she told us?? She said each person is only allowed to order 4 times and if we have 5 paxs total order will be 20 times (Im NOT JOKING) thats what that server told us. I was shocked so i asked her is this buffet? If yes why would there be a limit to the numbers of order or quantity? She just keep quiet and walks away. Our rubbish and plates on the tables are also not promptly cleared. So imagine when the order came we have to hold it in our hands and getting the staff to clear the tables. By the way it was not full house yesterday. The only food that is worth mentioning are satay, sushi, chocolate fudge cake. But the satay sauce is cold. Chocolate fudge cake very very small piece and sushi rice too much (see attached photos)

Aie's get together dinner with his bro this time round was at Buffet Town. He had been to the establishment once before and Aie likes the selection of food and the ordering system. So Aie booked a table for 2 through the online reservation system. They were promptly seated at their table upon arrival and they started ordering their choices of food via the iPad. Very efficient way of ordering as minutes after the order was sent electronically, the food was served to the table. No exasperating instances of trying to get the servers' attention, only to be ignored as their attention is focused elsewhere. πŸ™„ The helping of the food was just nice; not too much and not too little. Enough for one to savour the dish and have enough room to enjoy the other dishes available. Personally, Aie finds the food tasty enough and the price of the buffet per head, reasonable. He will definitely patronize the place again in the future... πŸ‘

Hate to give this place a 3-star but the food is really average. Full 5-star to the staff though. All of them were friendly and hard working (clearing the table fast and offering us new pair of fork and spoon even without us asking). Well done to the staff.

Pros: Servers were really fast to send food, and clear off used plates and cutlery, Ipad out of battery and was replaced with another really fast. Food was alright. I did love the tempura's quite a lot, chicken rice was good as well. Oysters , clams, were also alright. Love the cold prawns, good. Chilli crab a little spicy, would hope that it was sweeter (but that's just my opinion as I like it a little sweet). Sashimi's were good! I love them, wife as well. Cons: 1. There was clearly a line to queue to get in to restaurants/pay first. Customers did not follow the line, and queued straight in instead of the line. The lady still served them first, but informed them that there was a queuing line*. LOL. only 2 couples in front that were not queuing properly in the line, they created their own line but got served as well. Next round just follow the created line, instead of the line on the floor guys- big tip if you wanna head in fast. 2. Atmosphere was alright, as it was the start of dining in again. Just that the couple sitting near us was talking so much about their work life and whining about their bosses or something and felt unappreciated- somehow they went on talking and whining non stop for 2 hours. I was quite irrited and almost wanted to snap their photo and post it here. lol.

Food overall was ok. Mushroom soup quite diluted. Thicker should be nice. Prolly, this restaurant i went today shortage of manpower, that we had to wait and call out floor staff to check on our orders. Especially, repeated orders we had to wait for 30mins. My friends had Laksa, they said nice but no chilli given. I ordered Chicken Rice with no chilli too. Staff should serve food together with condiments. We can't always call them to ask for it. It's ok if short of manpower but server must serve orders together with condiments. we wouldn't mind waiting as long as you come in with complete set. Thank you.

One of the best sashimi... Unfortunately, the set-up and food show case is totally different from before due to Covid19. Chili crab and Ice Katchang spoiled the whole thing...

The receptionist (mocha) is very accomodating. The food selection is great. They also serve fast. And the servers (esp the guy with a tied hair) very alert to out needs.

I had preferred Buffet Town before the pandemic started whereby we could really actually enjoy the dining experience there. I give stars for the freshness of their sashimi/ baked oysters. The rest of the meal was just average, totally understandable because of the pandemic, the selections of food were also reduced. The ordering of food was used in an Ipad, sometimes the food we order doesn't arrive. Hope it can be improved, I will be back again when everything is back to normal.

Nicely decorated place but food was really average. The fried items were served cold and the asian delights like the laksa/longtong were too watery. Hardly any decent tasting food other than the kueh lapis. Good place to come for the ambience. (:

International food selection of local and foreign delights. The weekday lunch price is of course the most value for money for doing weekend lunch is just as good. Be sure to make a reservation before coming as they’re often fully booked especially during this period.
