PS.Cafe Ann Siang Hill

Restaurant Cafe

👍👍 My favourite PS cafe outlet in Singapore. Located on top of Ang Siang Hill, in a quaint building with very tastefully decorated interior. We had the PS burger and Superfood salad. The beef patty was so flavourful and juicy, and the truffle shoestring fries were also very good. Highly recommended. People often mention service, good, great, staff, fries, friendly, attentive, nice, experience, cake,

Nice, quaint place with cozy, old-fashioned decor. The place had a laid-back atmosphere, perfect for chill out/catch-up sessions with old friends. We went around 2pm so the place was not too packed, especially the second level. The brunch selection was good, with enough variety and fairly sized portions. We had the big breakfast, fish (meaty/fleshy) and chips and a decadent chocolate dessert (forgot the name) which was just perfect (not too sweet). We also have to commend the staff, which were all friendly and attentive. Do try to explore the surrounding area, I like the vibe of the place. Lots of small cafes, restaurants waiting to be discovered. Perfect for a walkabout/photowalk.

Had a nice double-date dinner with my fiancé and friends. Ambience of the place is really good for date nights, very romantic feels. Taste of the food for us is ok but there’s no distinction from other restaurants, just in our opinion. Food is quite on the pricey side i must say, though the size of the serving is quite big and is good for sharing Attentiveness and full assistance of the staffs to their customers are very commendable.

This is my 2nd visit to PS cafe, first visit was to Paragon’s outlet a few years back. Love the place, ambiance, food and service. Hence, thought of introducing my friend to another outlet. However it was slightly disappointing. Menu selection - 6/10 We were greeted with 2 mains from the menu being unavailable as well as 1 of the mains from the daily specials. Which gave us about 5/6 mains to choose from. Service - 10/10 Service staff were prompt and polite. Efficiently with refilling our waters too. 👍🏻 Food We started off with truffle fries - 8/10. Truffle flavor is not over powering unlike some places 🤢Eleanor was kind enough to suggest a “half portion” as we had other food as well. Thank you Eleanor 🤩 We had the seafood basket as well - 7/10. Tasted lovely but price point is slightly on the higher side for the amount. Daily special pork chop - 2/10 ❌❌❌❌ Firstly price point, it’s $44. I was expecting something amazing as $44 for pork chop is not cheap. Hence, I had high expectations to begin with. However, I was confused with the combination. Apple, squash, pork chop. Pork chop was tough and dry 😢. Expected it to be a little moist, but it was dry throughout. That made every bite difficult. The mains was something I was looking forward to, but this visit was overly disappointing…

We had a wonderful dinner at PS cafe. The place is quaint and very colonial style. The service was great and the food was delicious. We loved the chargrilled octopus, the pork ribs & the prawn with crab meat sauce was superb ! The desserts were exceptional though the profiteroles could have been softer. Overall an awesome dinner in a nice setting.

Love the ambience of this cafe tuck away at the corner of Ann Siang hill. Staffs were always busy but they still pay attention to your need. Love the consistency of their food from different locations. The pictures speaks for itself.

pretty and cozy place! staffs were very friendly as well. food were all good! had the lamb chop, fish&chips, crispy seafood basket and mac&cheese. would skip the mac&cheese next time though :) fudgy brownie was great as dessert too but better to share! do note the Truffle Thursday is only for the bar/cocktail area. not applicable to dinner. the advertisement online was not very clear. but we were fine with it.

One of the quieter PS branch, top of hill. Love the vibe here. 1 for 1 aperol on weekdays before 6pm is a steal. Truffle fries must be one of the best-looking in town. Big portion, good to share! Seafood basket, crispy battered squid shrimp and white baits. Good to start. Sticky date pudding had this nice warm-cool mix, just thought the toffee sauce a little too sweet.

I apologise for the late review but we had a great time and I feel guilty for not putting in my review. We (6 of us) made dinner reservations at 6.30pm on 23 November 2022. When we arrived, we were greeted and warm welcome by the staffs which showed us to our beautiful table. The staffs that served us were so nice, professional and polite. The food were delicious which we shared amongst ourselves and enjoyed. We also got cakes that brings an end to our dinner on a good note. We had such an experience here and i hope we’ll come again on another occasion.

Warm and attentive service. Nice ambience. Food was yummy esp. the seared salmon. The sandwiches were so so though. The truffle fries are well coated. Could improve the typeface for the menu to allow better viewing in dim lighting for seniors.

Impeccable service by the staff, they were super friendly and attentive, service was perfectly executed. They helped us find a table when the surroundings were too rowdy and noisy from big groups. The rest of our dining experience is far from what we expected of PS Cafe. Fries and portobello mushroom was ok. Christmas pork chop? was tough and dry. Aglio Olio portions were huge but tasteless. Chocolate cake is... huge. Sweet yes, but Ganache was too thick and chewy. Didn't help that the vanilla ice cream tasted like low quality, with obvious ice crystals. The fully powered air con turned any hot food cold within minutes. I was shivering during dinner. The table was unstable, resulting in me having to hold one corner while trying to cut the hard pork chop. Our bill came up to $139 for 2 pax. For that amount, I would have expected my food to wow me. Instead, I was left wondering how the Western food at my coffee shop tastes better than PS Cafe. Definitely not worth the climb up Ann Siang Hill, your money or the calories. Not recommended under any circumstances.

I had a fantastic experience here at P.S. food wise and even more service wise. It's my second time here, and it just gets better. Shoutout to David who was candid yet warm, thanks to him for accomodating and allowing us to switch seats (yes, might seem pretty basic but I still highly appreciate it). Mikhail was also extremely helpful and made the dining experience a much better one! Both of them are also very attentive, checking in every so often to ensure to ensure a smooth dining experience for us. David double checked with us to see if we're sure about ordering 2 desserts 🤣 since the portions here are huuuge and we're only 2 girls w smol stomaches. Mikhail on the other hand, noticed that we only ordered 1 main and suggested that he could get the kitchen to split the mains into 2 portions! Amazing! All in all, its thanks to them that I've experienced by far one of the best service from restaurants in general. I would totally go back again! On a side note, the chicken pasta is great and so are the cakes!

Usually frequent the branch at dempsey but I’m probably going to switch to this branch as the two staff at the front of house (Joel and Xun) worked very professionally and ensured that every customer that walked in were attended to in a timely and warm manner - this is in stark contrast to the guys at dempsey. We went for desserts at around 7.45pm on a Saturday night and true enough, the place was fully booked. Although we were seated right at the main door (which I wasn’t too pleased about at first), the guys at the front of house were so cheerful and accommodating that it was hard to stay upset. Their sincere and unpretentious approach to their guests should be the standard of quality customer service. We ended up sitting there till closing time as we were so comfortable despite customers streaming in and out the whole time. Staff were very attentive despite having to attend to walk in customers and consistently refilled our water. As usual, P.S. Cafe has one of the best desserts in town and we got the usual sticky date pudding and double chocolate blackout cake. Standards are well maintained between the branches. Serving sizes of the desserts are huge so be sure to share.

The atmosphere of this cafe is just stellar. The food as well is really good despite the steep prices. I got the chocolate cake and sticky toffee pudding and here's my review of the two: Chocolate cake: I liked the texture and flavour of the cake itself. It was tender, melt-in-your-mouth and really moist. The sauce was simple. Not super flavourful but lends an additional chocolate flavour and was a good accompaniment What I wasn't a fan of was the frosting; it didn’t feel chocolatey enough. It was also stiff, but not much of a downside because the cake + sauce was so good as is. Overall really liked the cake, only complaint is with the frosting, but that itself isn’t a dealbreaker. Sticky toffee pudding: I loved the sauce and ice cream. The sauce had the perfect balance of bitterness and sweetness and flavour. The ice cream itself was flavourful and right level of sweetness as well. Not overpowering nor too mild, it was just right. The cake was steamed so it was moist etc, but I felt the flavour could use a little work. It was tasty with the sauce don’t get me wrong, but I felt that it could be improved if they put more dates to bump the date flavour. The texture was otherwise on point. Overall it was really good together, my only issue was with the cake on its own. It could have been more flavourful. But again, that’s not something you’d notice if you eat it with the sauce / ice cream, so overall still very good.

As a shophouse by itself, it offers a cozy and beautiful place to have a date with your friends and loved ones. The service staff are all pretty attentive and polite. For starters, I have fries and top up $5 to add truffles. Think it is pretty good. For the main, I had chicken rossa penne and tiger beer fish and chip. For the penne, the sauce is flavourful and it comes with big thin slice of cheese, good to go along with the pasta. However the tiger beer fish and chip that I had been looking forward to is pretty average. The double chocolate cake is sinfully delightfully as it is plated on a layer of chocolate and its exterior is coated with a thick layer of chocolate. On top of that, it comes with an ice cream, which goes along well with the cake.

I loved coming here to try new foods! I should admit their fries are the best in town, it is literally so crunchy and it’s really hard to stop eating those. So far I’ve tried the crab tart, the Thai salad, the ribs, the fries, fish and chips. Everything was tasty, except the ribs, I felt like it was not conventional BBQ flavor. I’ve tried a few deserts and did not like it at all. Profiteroles’ shell felt a bit hard and stale, and inside there was ice cream and not cream. Red velvet has way too little cream to make it taste anything like velvet. There is a long way to go for deserts in this cafe chain. The drinks are great though, especially kombucha and sodas, these are not sugary but still sweet.

Food portions are generous and there is good variety the menu to please different tastes in a family. I would like to specially commend the service of their gentleman Zi Siang, who always had an indefatigable bubbly smile and was very attentive to our dining needs throughout, making service a highlight of our experience. He did not neglect to check in on whether anyone had allergies, and kindly helped to convey if a modification to my dish was possible. Well done!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this cafe, and it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staffs. The food was equally impressive too. Ordered pesto pasta, and tomato bisque. My fav is the tomato bisque, it was rich, comforting, and bursting with the natural sweetness of ripe tomatoes. Also had truffle shoestring fries (half size) - the portion is really big, good for sharing. I can't wait to return for another memorable visit and try out other menus!

Food is a big portion. All the service crew is friendly and professional. One of the service crew's name , Zi Siang, has the best service by far. We were served by him, and he was very friendly and professional, easily to talk to, and even when we asked him some questions, he could very professionally answer all our questions. He recommended that we get half a portion for the sides as we ordered 4 main dishes from the menu for 3 ladies. Overall service is amazing. Would definitely come back for his service.

Went there for my birthday dinner. At first sight there was no staff at all to direct us ..once there was..we were directed to a single table beside the bar which proved to be small when we ordered 2 main dishes and appeytizer and a dessert, it couldn't fit the table. I wished they could have put us at a slightly bigger table. 2nd thing, the waiter toni was very polite and courteous. But it was Hard to Catch his attention or other waiters. I am.not sure if cause they were down of manpower but it felt That way. The food was nice though. Bbq ribs. Truffle frieds and the roasted chicken And the dark chocolate cake were very yummy. The chicken roasted wings was terrible though.

Have always love PS Cafe at Ann Siang Hill and have been there for lunch many times. Tonight was our first time going there for dinner and it was for my birthday. The service was good at the start but as we were finishing our food they seem to be eager to clear our plates and clean up our table. At 950pm they actually turn off the light nearest to our table and by 10pm they turn off the aircon. A waiter came over and told us that they arw closing and its only 10pm! We were really upset with this kind of service considering the amount of money we paid for the food. Will definitely not go back there for dinner, its more of a lunch place.

Overall, the dining experience in this outlet was awesome. Upon stepping in, the service staff brought us to our table. Eleanor explained to us in detail about the special for this week, and showed us what ingredients were used in the dish on the board, which gave us a spoilt for choices of food. Thankyou eleanor. Wanting, who took our order, was very attentive as she made sure we don't have any allergies and kept checking on us as well during the whole dining experience. Thankyou to the chefs as well, who made the food tasty too. Lastly, Josephine who gave our bill , ensured us that everything was good and asked if we would like any dessert. Thankyou to all the staff, it was a awesome dining experience.

Atmosphere here is really great, the staff is very cheery and polite. Ordered their truffle fries of course, and a couple others. Forgotten to snap a picture of them. Staff were regularly checking in, but not intrusive. Food is definitely great as usual. Atmposhere is great too, sightly dim and calm! It just happen that the evening I went, there was a private event on the roof top. Was pretty loud but I guess it's fine, not gonna happen all the time anyways.

One of my favourite PS cafe in town, nestled in the quiet Ann Siang Hill. The service here also seems to be a notch above the other outlets i’ve visited. The barramundi risotto is a must order! It’s an elevated thai version of the usual creamy risotto - think of a beautiful marriage between thai curry and risotto - slightly tangy, spicy with a small touch of sweetness. Overall, a light lunch that’s rich in flavour. Ended off with the chocolate banana cheesecake, which was thankfully lighter than the typical American cheesecake. ❗️Try to make a reservation for Friday lunch (and during peak period). My friend and I did a walk-in, they were fully booked at the second storey (which is the nicer area).

Went there with my wife and daughter as its celebrating my birthday... the usual PS that i love to go. But it's different this time, because it's my first time visiting this PS branch at Ann Siang... First experience is that the place and atmosphere is cozy and nice. Posh feeling and they have roof top for bigger gathering groups... went up to take a look and it was truly amazingly nice and very casual comfortable up there... Food is always great at PS... but was only this particular chinese waitresses doesn't seems to understand English. As i was asking her on some dishes questions, she thought that i wanted to place order... i told her a few times that I'm not trying to order but to ask about some dishes from the menu... she just gave up and walk away... I was utterly surprise as well... Coming to the end of the meal when we decided to get the bill.. she came, i was not very convince that she could did well for this. My wife ask her that does you accept NETs. She nodded and say yes.. and she took the card and the bill away... i knew it will not go thru because NETS needed the actual person to key in the pin for the transaction.. true enough, she came back and say no can't go thru... and she came with the machine on her hand... obviously, she doesn't know what's a NETs is all about.. i then took out my card and ask her PayWave can? And it went thru... We kind of feeling, oh mine... what an experience...

Cozy, slightly hidden cafe with great vibes. Staff were attentive and friendly. Had the truffle fries, medium rare steak sandwich, goddess pasta and burger. Goddess pasta was slightly plain. Truffle fries were good and well seasoned! Steak sandwich was slightly dry but tasty overall! Less crowded than other ps cafe! Will be back

Excellent service by Toni and team. Toni was super attentive. He made the effort to split our order of mushroom soup into 2 portions after learning that we will be sharing that. Food, services and ambience were awesome. Visited the cafe at about 5pm when there was not many people. The service was generally good but we were particularly impressed by one of the waiters, Sharan. He was very attentive and took great care of everyone. He kept himself busy even though there were only 2-3 tables occupied at that time. Thank you Sharan for the pleasant dining experience. 🙂

Been hearing so many good reviews about this place and decided to bring my bestfriend here for his birthday meal and let’s just say it wasn’t a disappointing decision. For the portion of the food, i would say the price is really worth your money. And the taste of each dish is just immaculate. Would definitely come back again! Restaurant is located inconspicuously above ground level - at end of the road take a flight of stairs up! Great ambience and decor! Food quality: Very delicious and nicely presented food and alcohol. Food portion / Price: Prices are in line with most Western restaurants, food portion are good. Crowd: Suggest to book in advance, looks like there’s always going to be a dinner crowd.

Generous slice of chocolate cake drizzled with chocolate sauce and a scoop of Ice Cream. The warm chocolate sauce complements the cake and the creamy ice cream.🤤 Tips: ask for extra chocolate sauce for chocolate lovers (at no cost) It’s really one of our favourite go-to cakes in Singapore.

We had our household yearly Christmas dinner at PS Cafe Ann Siang Hill. Food never seases to amaze me, and now my households, with savory dinner delights from the ribs- that falls off the bone, to the meaty goodness of bolognese. Perfectly paired with rosè sangria and negroni that leaves a clean wash for the palette. Appetizes like the seafood basket is a hit as well as the chicken that was perfectly matched with their tangy sauce. Always save room for dessert with our ever favorite sticky date pudding and 3ple chocolate, that wrapped the dinner. Night made extra special with Toni who ensured everyone is very well taken of. His presence exudes command and direction to the team. His attention to details, specially to our needs makes out night even more memorable. Keep that amazing aura and positivity!! One of our fave place for good food, great ambience and excellent service.

Nice ambience but price is on the steep side. Location is a little inconvenient as the nearest mrt station is about 10 mins walk & it is located up a slope on something like a mini hill.

A great place for chill dates or hangouts. The price is on the expensive side compared to other cafes, but the cake slice is huge. The orange cake is unique and refreshing.

Always enjoy this place. Nice high end chain. Food is more than the run of the mill cafe chain. Staff are pleasant and the location is great. Good decor gives a nice vibe. Portions are generous and the menu changes with the board specials. Not cheap, but reasonable for the quality. Will be back...

One of the nicer PS Cafe outlets. This place has a very nice relaxing ambience, especially for an afternoon tea session with family and close friends. The truffle fries is one of the best around, with the copious amount of cheese and truffle oil in a generous portion of fries. Their mains are also very well done though pricey. Do note that there was a huge vase of lilies at the entrance which caused the whole place to smell strongly. People with allergy to pollens should stay away.

Service and ambience was great. Food on the expensive side but very decent portions and great quality. Best Impossible burger I've ever had - juicy and tasty. Will return on special occasions.

My friend brought me there when I was in Singapore, very nice atmosphere and tasty food. Especially the staff there was super nice! I remember that day was late, only my friends and me, I was in an awkward situation that my dress was broken, the staff gave me her scarf!! Thank you sooooo much! After Covid-19 I would like to go there again

We happened to be in the area so dropped by. It is in a beautiful building by itself. Service was good especially from David, who’s very friendly. Food was good too. Yes price is on the higher side, but it guess it’s worth.

Foods are decent, but might not be value for some. Drinks are not bad. A pathetic portion of fries was served. They served a pitiful amount of fries in small paper cups throughout the night. The service staff are friendly. But the P.S management needs to wake up their idea, and not be so stingy to portion control
