It was a fun session to learn how to cook Italian. The instructors were nice and friendly. No worries if you do not know how to cook as recipes were given and guidance provided every step of the way.

Great fun with work team building. We organized a mini team building with Food Playground, Amazing Race, and it was a lot of fun. Although the weather was not great it was still very fun and we got to see a lot of heritage sites and try several local dishes. I would highly recommend to use them for a team building or just family event to learn more about Chinatown. I’m addition, they do mostly cooking classes but we didn’t partake but I think it would also be good.

Annie was incredible - she was extremely knowledgeable, kind, patient, and taught us how to make some incredible dishes!! The curry we made was the best food I’ve eaten in Singapore. I would highly recommend no matter your level of cooking. Mrs Lee was also very friendly and extremely helpful. It’s great to see a company that supports their staff and whose staff are all so passionate. Thank you again!!

Food playground helped us have the best end of year team activity. Christmas themed recipes were used to create a competition between two teams. A fantastic cook off. If you are looking for a team or group activity run as a social enterprise then look no further. Would come again!

Food Playground is a social enterprise who does a lot of good esp for elderly and stay-at-home mothers - providing them with a safe space for re-employment and to spend their time. We had a great teambonding experience and learned a lot about the history and techniques of the food we made. The team made great efforts to help our team bond and make sure we are all enjoying ourselves. Would recommend it to any corporate team looking for a fun activity!

Wow! I had such a great time. Annie was our instructor, and It was an amazing team building experience for my friend and I. I’m a very picky eater who doesn’t finish her meals but this time I literally finished my meal, scrapping the sides 😂. It was very interactive and informative from beginning to end! A must do in Singapore if you enjoy the fusion of Indian, Malay and Chinese cuisine. #annieisthebest Thank you :)

Had a very enjoyable and informative experience. Our host Ann was lovely and really made the class a lot of fun while still giving some local history to the dishes. The dishes themselves were delicious, and each step was explained in a way that allowed the learner to immerse themselves in the experience. Great thing to do in Singapore for young and old

I took the Curry Chicken class and my instructor was Annie! This class was amazing and Annie made sure we were knowledgeable about what we were cooking and made sure that we knew how everything should look before moving to the next step. I would definitely recommend doing this with a friend as it played a part of getting the meal done and promoting teamwork!

It was my first cooking class and I totally recommend this place. Sara is a lovely person and the way she conducts the class is amazing. She gives us time and space to enjoy the moment. You don't need to be worried about anything as she is teaching, supporting and taking photos during the activity so you just need to relax and enjoy. We made the curry paste from the scratch, it was amazing! Thank you Sara! ❤️

Came for a team building event. Had an enjoyable time here. Even though I do not know how to cook, the cooking challenge allowed me to experience the preparation of the Thai dishes. Yih Yin and Ros were great facilitators. They gave many tips on food prep and showed us how it should be done. Love the experience. Food Playground is a social enterprise that helps those who have not been working to get back into the workforce. A good cause 👍

Teresa and Annie were a joy to learn from during our trip to Food Playground. It was also nice to hear that they help employ stay at home mothers. The chicken curry and other dishes we made to enjoy alongside were delicious and we can't wait to try making curry from scratch again!

This is a social enterprise helping women back into work after being at home. We had a wonderful time together cooking and preparing and displaying a 3 course meal. Lots of prep was done in advance but still enough work left for us to have fun and feel like we were cooking. Lovely staff.

I went to food playground with no prior knowledge of how to cook Asian food. The instructor Anne was kind helpful as she gave clear instructions while teaching our class to create a main dish and desert. I had so much fun while learning to make a delicious meal. I also love the mission of employing homemakers and elderly people to share their passion in cooking. I loved the class and food so much that I’m going back for another class today!

Mary was a fantastic instructor (and thank you also to Joanne!) and the food was delicious! Love the mission that sits behind the business as well - encouraging community and transferring skills to travellers and locals alike. Recipes and steps were straightforward, ingredients are accessible back home in Brisbane, so quite comfortable in recreating. Lovely morning spent in Singapore, recommend going on an empty stomach as you will have a full belly at the end!

Amazing menu and food. The chefs were so helpful and willing to share their expertise and knowledge about Singaporean food. I particularly liked how they explained all the ingredients and substitutes for what to use instead back home. A lot of the preparation was done before coming to the class which meant more time learning about the ingredients and cooking techniques and less time chopping up and doing other simple tasks most already know how to do
