Upscale French restaurant with a unique ambience. Food was a hit or miss for me… Prepare to pay exorbitant prices 🤑 1. Cold angel hair pasta with caviar - 5/5 favourite dish 💯 2. Braised scallop - 4/5 slightly tougher flesh but great flavours 👍🏻 3. Seared blackthroat seaperch - 2/5 a very mediocre fish for $138, plating aesthetic could be improved too 😞 4. Canele - 3/5 not the best I’ve tasted… 5. Financier - 4/5 delicious 👍🏻 5. Crepe salted butter - 4/5 crispy and soft at the same time 👍🏻

Service nominal, food nominal, priced too exorbitantly for its food quality. Environment is too cramped up. Not recommended. Degustation menu was not great too. We tried all the signatory dishes like Angel's hair, Alaskan crab, quail, Apple pie etc. Sets us back $1000 for 4 pax.Totally not worth the price paid, was a great disappointment for us. Will not go back again.

Standard has dropped :( they did try to keep to the same affordable prices. But but, the beef portion was small! And everything has to be topped up! Can’t stand that! Also they don’t serve normal water. Have to buy still water ! And they don’t ask u before they open another bottle !!!! What!!! Only good thing, they gave us a small dessert to share for our bday!

Fantastic service, albeit slow pacing by the kitchen. Our simple set lunch lasted around 90 minutes. Cold angel hair pasta was excellent, everything else was rather unmemorable. The restaurant was packed for lunch and the atmosphere was very noisy; we could not have a tabletop conversation without leaning into each other to hear ourselves. For the price point, much better food was expected. Better food would also justify the mighty long waits between each course. Lastly, petit 4s were just a canele and a chocolate disc each (no more financier, at least for the set lunch)

Nice ambience, service is good. Food is good but not surprising. Recommended the pork jowl, well cook, very soft, moist and tasty. Angel hair pasta texture is very good except the truffle oil fragrance overpower the pasta. Roasted gambas also recommended. We are eating course meal, I am not super impressed overall, maybe the ala carte menu might be better.

Love the angel hair pasta with caviar! I literally licked the plate!!! So good. The Apple “tart” is really good, so crispy and top a little ice cream on each bite sent me to heaven. It’s worth the price, the whole experience is exquisite and I was there for lunch. I have to go for a dinner next chance I am back in Singapore.

Gunther's has always been one of my go-to restaurants for the past 12 yrs. I've yet to be disappointed with them all the times I've been here. No question what the must eat dish is....the cold angel hair pasta. All other dishes Re delicious and the wine list is also very impressive.

Despite being raved for being one of the best French fine dining in Singapore, we unfortunately did not have a good experience. Would like to start off by first complimenting the service staff for their impeccable hospitality, for being attentive and polite the entire time, hence the 2 stars only for the service. What was disappointing were the food, which we had high expectations for. For a French place, it didn’t have most of the traditional French cuisine e.g. escargot, French onion soup, duck confit etc, not even fusion inspired dishes. Commendable dishes we had were the angel hair pasta and oyster. However, would definitely warn against ordering the foie gras and chicken consommé as both were distasteful. Foie gras was dry and tasteless, sadly to say it’s the worst we’ve ever had. It was not served with any sauce or jam. Chicken consommé tasted more like a strange mushroom soup. Mains were just alright. For its per pax price point, unfortunately we’d rather spend our money elsewhere.

We ordered 2 appetisers - cold angel hair pasta with caviar and the day’s special of fish and 2 mains - roasted Alaskan crab with tomato rice and Miyazaki wagyu ribeye. Their signature dish, the cold angel hair pasta was certainly delicious and the Alaskan crab was fantastic. The fish was average while the ribeye was alright, it was tender but I can’t understand why such a good piece of meat was flattened to about half a cm only. The service was alright, I think it could be better. They seem to pay more attention to certain customers, maybe their regulars but I don’t think that should be the case considering how much every diner is forking out to dine there. Plus point though is no corkage if you bring your own wine. Overall, the dishes that were good were standouts for us so we would go back but would order something else in place of the ribeye.

First time visit Gunther, they provide Valet service so do not worry about parking. The greeting from the reception is very pleasant, the ambience is simple yet elegant. The good we ordered is timeless dishes, all the dishes is very well present, do order a soufflé at the end of the course, that is my favorite for French restaurant.

Actually wanted to give only 4 stars but since the service was so excellent it deserves the 5th star. Gunther’s was one of the restaurants on my must try list and happy that I got to do that for my birthday. It’s fusion French cuisine using the most excellent ingredients. We were in luck cos it’s truffles season. We went for the 6-course degustation menu but I think we ended up with more dishes compliments from the Chef. The wine selection is great if you are a wine connoisseur. The normal half bottle was already so nice. When I browsed past reviews I realised that the menu hasn’t changed much which was why I wanted to give 4 stars initially. However still a nice cozy place for a good French meal.

Delicious food and excellent service. We had the angel hair pasta and Alaskan king crab legs and they were cooked to perfection. Highly recommend!

Celebrated our wedding anniversary here. The restaurant and service staff are attentive to our dietary request, and the food are lovely. With the pricing and the generous portion of the truffles. It really made my husband's day. My gluten free pasta was seriously good and I could easily have another one. Another highlight was the pork and love how tender is was, as good as beef. Even though we told them last upon arrival that we came for our anniversary, they still got us a little celebratory cake that so yummy. Overall, nothing were disappointing.

Above average food, very small portions, with a big price tag. Overvalued with very low value for your money. Spent 400+ for 2 pax on a 4-course meal and both my wife and I left hungry. Take your hard earned dollars elsewhere.

I had high expectations of this place. Our meal started off very well, the bread was fantastic. Appetiser was great, the best being the cold truffle pasta. Mains was a letdown. Carbonara is mere 3 pieces of pasta sitting on a generous portion of pork slices. Pork however was tough. Apple tart with ice cream was great. Staffs were friendly, however we waited very long between each course.

Haven't been back in 5 years, but food is still as good. We do miss the part where the staff brings out a trolley of fresh food items for selection. That was a big part of the Gunther's experience.

Nice food with reasonable price. Staff are young and polite. The seating is quite comfortable and not so crowded.Great fast service and good selection of meats. I won't say that the quality or quantity for the price is out of this world, but this is a solid option if you are craving some authentic

Great place but the taste is a bit lacking and plain compared to the reputation

I love the Angel's Hair with Caviar the most. Food are all delicious. Thanks Jeff & staff for making our dining a wonderful one. Thank you for the cake and sweets. The only down side is a group of people from the other table talking too loud.

It has been quite a long time since we came to Gunther's for dinner, the last time my wife was expecting our boy and now the boy is in P2. So it was with great anticipation that we looked forward to the meal. We decided to go for the 6 course degustation menu and we paired this with wine, I managed to get Gunther's to type out the menu and wines and everything, EVERYTHING was top notch. The service was wonderful too, friendly but not intrusive. We were talking about bringing our son and lamenting the fact that there was no kid's menu and the server who overheard us made no bones about proffering a bit of information, that Gunther's had a kids menu!!! Anyway, we ended the dinner with for me, a nice shot of whiskey and for my wife a nice port. Enjoy the pictures. Photos courtesy of Mi 11 Ultra.

A very delightful restaurant week lunch. Gunther’s cold angel hair pasta is as usual sublime . I enjoyed the pork jowl , melt in your mouth tender . Service was attentive . I don’t know why it took me so long to come back .

Back after 2 years. Top class French cuisine and excellent service. Cold angel hair pasta with caviar is the my favourite today. King crab leg is excellent also. Dissapointed they couldbt serve the grilled foie gras today but still on the whole its a good experience.

Cold angel hair pasta w caviar is their popular item and it’s a must try if you are dining here. Oysters are big and fresh! Love it!

I was pleasantly surprised at the fusion French meal I had at Gunther's. The chef made us a special off the menu 5 course meal. It was white truffle season and their signature dish - cold truffled angel hair was topped generously with white truffle of the season. The outstanding dish of the night besides the truffled angel hair was the baked French onion tartin with black truffle. The meursault was also exceptional.

The service is great and the food is very flavourful. We had the lunch chef's menu and definitely worth every penny we paid. Thank you!

Sat for the 4 Courses Chef's Signature Series $148++ per person, quite good but not filling for the greedy me lol! Anyway joke aside, even through the taste is good but I think it's just normal, there's no wow factor, it's just expensive ingredient. But that's my opinion and you may feel differently, I would still recommend if you're looking for the experience and good service!

Had a wonderful lunch experience here - booked a set lunch to celebrate my parents' anniversary and the staff brought out a nice little cake to surprise them. Very attentive waitstaff made up for the inconvenience from the dining restrictions!
