Healthy version of ckt. Taste was good. Missing out the wok hey and fragrance. Dont expect to see the smokey frying pan and the stirring noise. The cook is quite gentle with his frying and organize. Will probably stick to the unhealthy version.

It’s been a while I’ve tasted an authentic Char Kway Teow and the best part it’s Halal. Recommended and enjoy it while it’s hot. Even the uncle is friendly too.

Ordered the large portion with added extra cockles. And shared with my wife. Enjoyed it. Doesn't feel that oily even though it was wet. Overall a great plate of Halal Char Kway Teow!

Love the moist and not so oily char kway teow. Price ranges from $3.50, $4.50 and $5.50. Owner was friendly too! If you are coming here on the weekends, expect long queue. In my personal opinion. It's worth the wait!

Definitely a good plate of char kway teow! Perfectly seasoned, and doesn’t feel oily at all! Uncle is also very quick with his cooking - I only waited 2/3 min for my plate of char kway teow :)

No doubt it is nice, and it’s always a good thing to support hawkers but.. most of the time, travelling all the way there only to find that it is always closed. During operation hours.. Would be nice to at least update if not opening. Saving the hassle and avoiding heartbreaks. LOL. No joke. 90% of the time going over, closed. I will still be trying again, but not a planned trip, but if only when I am around the area. To those planning to have a good plate of halal char kuey teow. Get ready to be disappointed and not to put really high hopes. Not because of the taste but because of the hours. Wasted many many hours of travelling time.

Went to try the char kway teow at 786 given the good reviews. Was the first customer as I had arrived just before 12. I must say I was a little disappointed. The flavours didn’t seem to soak into the kway teow sufficiently (perhaps because I was too early). However, I did like the sauce. Overall, I felt it was insufficiently fried but I guess this too is an individual preference.

Located within an old style hawker centre with lots of old folks spending time with their friends there. The halal char kway teow was very delicious, served with fresh cockles cooked to perfection ( not over or under cooked). The food was reasonably priced. The service was fast even though with only 1 cook manning the stall. MUST GO! AGAIN!

I am not a CKT lover but this one is just nice to me. Even though its non-wok hey taste but the taste of CKT is delicious. It is spicy too. Just the way I love it. The Muslim cook is patient & soft spoken. Stall is clean too. Be prepared to wait for quite some time as he cooks fresh batch for every order. Do take note that it closes every Friday. I came from the west side of SG to this stall & it’s worth my trip 👍🏽

Decided to give this stall a try after seeing quite a few good reviews, but it turns out to be a major disappointment and another case of overrating. The noddles are pretty much tasteless except for those parts with the black sauce or chilli, so you either taste sweetness or spiciness or no taste when you eat the ckt. I think it’s also partly due to too little egg added to the ckt. The stall beside it selling ckt too is definitely much much better and cheaper. Those who posted good reviews are either related to the stall owner or have serious problems with their taste buds and should probably consult a doctor. This 786 Char Kway Teow is an absolute joke and I definitely won’t patronize the stall again.

Totally not my version of CKT. No wok hei at all. Taste just like fried kway teow noodle from the economy bee Hoon stall. If u crave CKT avoid this stall coz u will be disappointed. If just wanna fill ur belly then it's ok as portion is quite big.

First time tried uncle ckt, ordered extra spicy and he delivered. Not many hawker will use chilli padi to fry it. I was quite surprise! The taste is very pleasant even though he don’t use lard. And the uncle is very chill and friendly . Even though our interaction is short but pleasant. After eating I dabao one for my brother. You guys can come and support this stall!

One of the worse CKT ever. No wok hei at all. It’s just sweet sauce fried with kway teow. CKT is not CKT without pork lard/oil. Don’t waste your calories here.
