This is supposed to be a 1 star Michelin shop. But I seriously doubt how it gets it's star! Of cos, I dun know what does this 1 star means but definitely not worth it to. 1)Attitude problem from the cashier(a Chinese lady) for reason that only she knows. 2) rushing for orders even when there is no other customers and when this is our first time visiting 3) nvr even bother to let us know how and where to take e utensils. Only when we asked, then she tell us. 4) when I ask for some chilli, just simply brush me off and say " they dun give seperately and must mix with the noodles" followed by a black face 5) the food was nothing near expectable. Noodles was dry. Meat was dry. I really dun know how the shop gets into Michelin. My advise is whoever wants to come here and eat, pls be prepare to be spoiled by the attitude of the staff and the quality of the foods.

I would strongly recommend you skip the crispy roasted pork. Nothing Michelin-star worthy about it... you can have easily find one nicer in any typical hawker centre. If you are a tourist looking for recommended eats in Singapore, please skip this. I am utterly embarrassed that this is the cuisine that made it on the Michelin-star list.

Disliked the food here. Chicken was dry, and they served it with normal rice, not the oily chicken rice. The garlic chicken rice only cost 5 bucks in town area, but it's 5 bucks I rather throw down the drain. They don't even provide a bowl of soup (the usual water boiled with chicken stock type). On the plus side, it is air-conditioned. That said, I'm never returning.

Yesterday's dinner in Funan SG was at Hawker Chan (more commonly known as Liao Fan Hawker Chan in Smith Street) ! I must say the soy sauce is different from the usual stuff in hawker centres. It is sweet and slightly salty. Besides that, the chicken was tender and did not have much fat under the skin. And they are generous with the amount of chicken and vegetables. Good experience of the one Michelin star franchise.

Similar to many other reviewers, this branch needs staff revamp. All 3 front desk staffs were too busy making Cantonese jokes and laughing very loudly. Please take care of the customer. Food is OK. Chicken breast is good.

How can you go wrong. Quick lunch at this new branch and it taste just as good. V satisfied (again)! This small meal was only $5.

Michelin-starred reviews do not mean the products are legitimate. That's what I like to bring it up here. The roasted pork fragrant rice was okay, but not worth the hype and it was not warm enough at the point of serving. There was no complimentary soup to complete the meal. And how much less authentic could it get without a proper cup of local kopi or teh? One should look elsewhere for a better plate of roasted pork rice at better pricing, complete with soup and kopi/teh.

If you’ve been to Hong kong and love the food there. This might disappoint you if you have the hope high. We ordered different food and I didn’t find anything I really like. Just average food.

I visited the Smith St. location earlier but the place was still closed at that time so I chose to visit the Funan branch instead. The food was amazing and it's ridiculously cheap. The portion was quite big so it's quite ideal for sharing.

Quick and friendly service. The food was damn good. I just had the “Set A” which is the signature dish plus some other sides. Cheap, fast, and good. Can’t really go wrong.
