Always a huge fan of IKEA food since I was little, from the times when the Tampines outlet wasn't even open yet and we had to take trains and buses to visit the Alexandra outlet. Everything is nice, from the salmon to the meatball, confit to the chocolate cake. The ordering system never fails to make me grab more food than I need, but end up finishing them all anyways because it's great. One hidden gem you might miss out is the CHEESE TART. You have to try it seriously, it easily beats many of the specialised stores. Mouth watering as I am typing this, off I go to IKEA Tampines again! :D

Have been here on multiple occasions throughout the years! Always come before the meal crowd comes unless you don’t mind waiting a little for your food. Good thing is, there are plenty of seating here though often crowded. This is a popular restaurant with families, couples and friends because the food is tasty! The chicken wings are tasty with its ginger flavour (old school taste). Meatballs are always great! Love the cold water shrimps and smoked salmon platters when it’s available! Also love the desserts which are available in their mart (Daim cake, Princess cake). The meatballs are also sold frozen in packets if you can’t get enough of the cooked and hot ones served at the restaurant. Also love how they serve lower sugar content sodas. Great for those who can’t live without their sweetened and fizzy drinks!

Great place to chill and have a meal be it Breakfast; lunch or dinner. However be prepared to wait for a table during meal times or PH and School Vacation periods! Good I good, and the all time favourites among all is their Signature Chicken Wings

It's always crowded on weekends as the food is good at low pricing! Love that it is spacious and clean always. Service staffs works fast to ensure minimal wait! The all time favorite is the chicken wings it's crispy and juicy yet not oily! Tried the meatballs for the first time today and it's pretty decent served with gravy, mashed potato, boiled vegetables and berry jam, a beautiful combination! Love their soup and dessert too! Saw that they have new spicy wings but sadly it doesn't come with the 2pcs option. It'll be great if they have a smaller size option instead of the fixed 6pcs. The tables were quite dirty, i assumed that it's cause people return their own tray nowadays so there's no cleaning staff so do bring your own wet tissue if it's a concern for you. Otherwise everything is awesome!

After more than 2 years of not visiting IKEA, their food is still very delicious especially their signature chicken wings. Perfectly cooked and retained the old school flavour. Their queuing system also improved a lot. Instead of getting into long queues, they put up an easy to use sms queue system. So that you can book a table online and shop around while you wait for your queue number to arrive. First class customer service!

Spacious air-conditioned Halal dining/eateries area. Very crowded + long queue. Food served upon request, and payment to be made at the counter, before one can proceed with the dinning. The Swedish Beefball 👍 👍👍& the fried chicken wings is crispy outside juicy inside. The Spaghetti a bit watery, instead of thick creamy tangy tomatoes sauce. After dining, diners need to cleaning up the table and pass the tray of plates, chopsticks/fork/spoon & glasses to the staff

Was excited to try the new chilli crab crawfish and their cold water shrimp. The crawfish was a let down honestly it was so cold and dry, it just felt like it was blanched in water and they just pour the sauce on. The meat was tasteless and cold, the sauce it self was horrid. It was a mix between sweet and sour, mostly sour, with a hint HINT of spicyness. The cold water shrimp was a bit fishy but still ok since the meat was really sweet! The meatballs 10/10!! Love it so much can never go wrong with it! Price wise it was decent around $40 for the 2 pax! Do come early to get the shrimps and to avoid lunch crowd. So sad that they changed the ice cream to soy based, it’s nasty

It is super crowded at 11:30 that it is hard to find a seat, the food there is generally quite nice and there is a bistro downstairs that sells hotdogs, ice cream and more... Toilets are right outside the restaurant. High chair available. Food is tasty and reasonable price. Would recommend if you can find a seat.

The ambience of the restaurant is definitely pretty cozy, especially during off peak periods. The service of the staff is quite fast too. The taste of the food is pretty decent too. The chicken wings are fragrant, juicy, and crispy. The cake also has a decent taste! Overall, this is a family-friendly restaurant that serves great food with a nice ambience!

Was terribly packed on a weekend. To their credit the ushers at the reception did a decent job in ensuring that everyone got a Queue Number to wait to enter the restaurant. And when your number came up, they ushered you to your seats 👍 Well done. Now the queue for your food, at this place social distancing could have been better managed. Considering it was packed to capacity, social distancing ambassadors or their equivalent would have helped. The elderly staff seemed to be in a hurry to be done with serving you. And pushing my food exposed on a trolley in a very crowded location is not my cup of tea. And then to the cashier who was polite👍 and finally to my table to eat. Just imagine how long food would have been exposed. Well i understand we have HCl in our tummies to kill the germs. I'm used to eating at IKEA but in Covid times I'd expect better. Lastly food was at best Luke warm👎 not even warm. Closer to cold 🤦‍♂️

The Swedish meatballs dish was such a delight. Comes with a side of vegetables, mashed potato and drenched with brown sauce. Meatballs were very flavorful and not dry at all. The salmon dish on the other hand had a kinda fishy smell to it. The sides that came with the salmon was nice though nothing fantastic. The chocolate lava cake was sweet and was a little tough, not really enjoyable.

This place offers excellent value for your money, serving generous portions of food with a rotating menu. You can always count on finding classics like meatballs and pasta. Plus, they offer complimentary refills on drinks. The ambiance is pleasant and cozy, but it tends to get busy during lunch and dinner hours, so it's a good idea to arrive early to secure a comfortable dining space.

Finally, we decided to head to IKEA to try their famed meatballs. Having heard so much about the food here, it definitely deserved a visit. Strongly recommend to visit the restaurant on a weekday when the crowd is manageable. When we visited on the weekend, it took 30-40 minutes of queue and very less seating. On Monday evening, queue time was about 5-10 minutes. The drill is simple, you wait in the queue with your trolley and trays. Pick up any baked items you like and order your mains at the counter. We ordered the following - 1) Meatballs - Took the main dish consisting of 12-16 meatballs, mash potato, vegetables and jam. Meatballs are really good, and this is a filling meal for only $9.5. 2) Salmon Fillet - Nice soft salmon fillet in a creamy sauce served with a broccoli-potato baked tart and vegetables. Liked this too. Not served hot, was lukewarm. 3) Springrolls - Nice springrolls, crispy on the outside and generous fillings. 4) Blueberry cheesecake - Awesome and firm cheesecake, really liked it. Overall bill was $30.3 - definitely economical for the quantities provided.

Ambience is nicer than the last time I came, which is probably before covid. But the food is not the same standard as before. Even the chicken wing, which I used to come frequently for. Not as crispy, no fragrance. Wonder why at 3pm it is still so crowded. Don't think I will come again. Quite a disappointing meal ...

Super crowded even for weekday lunch time with queues past the drink dispensers. Got halal section by the window. Remember to collect cutlery and condiments after making payment at cashier. Remember to clear table and return tray to the station. High chair seats by the wall with power points. Member can redeem 2 hot beverages per card per day. Membership is free.

The Ikea café is a crowd pleaser with its great prices and good variety of veggie options. The kid’s spaghetti is horrendous to my taste but everyone below the age of 12 seems to love it, so no complaints! The new meatless patty was extremely meaty and a bit dry but otherwise okay. Star of the show for vegetarians is the plant balls which are juicy and tasty. The gravy and lingonberry jam make it even better. I appreciate that most dishes come with a side of vegetables, which is helpful to get kids to have a somewhat more balanced diet. The café space itself is bright with natural light. There is plenty of seating if you come at the beginning of the week and outside of peak lunch/dinner hours. Otherwise, be prepared to wait for a seat and queue for at least 15 minutes for food.

Affordable food with generous portion (even the kids meal)! Menus always change but the standard ones include meatballs and pasta. Drinks are also refillable and if you an Ikea member, you are entitled to two cups of hot drink for free! Pretty nice ambience and comfortable dining space although it gets quite crowded during lunch and dinner so be sure to come earlier.

    1. Halal cuisine - very limited choice. If this was made known earlier, I would have skipped traveling from west to east for the meal. 2. Price - Personally, it's just the hype for Halal food. There are better options out there and this is the 1st and last I'm having this here. 3. Service - Just one gentleman serving the halal queue. Guess he is overloaded with the orders and his tone of engagement was rather improper. But nothing against him as understanding the constant orders piled on him to act solo. IKEA mgt should look into this rather than overworking the poor chap! 4. Table availability - most of the tables were pre-booked with packets of tissues, etc. Hopefully IKEA mgt look into this and get their staff to clear. Imagine ordering your food and circling around just to consume it.

IKEA Tampines Restaurant is a great place to dine after or before shopping/browsing in Ikea. It can get very crowded over the weekends or peak dining hours. The Swedish meatball, chicken wings, baked chicken leg and desserts (D24 durian cake, chocolate rainbow cake and the cheesecake) are the go-tos. Special drinks by Ikea are interesting. Dining area is huge.

The swedish meatball & chicken wings are very good. The price is quite affordable. Ate a Cheese-filled Pork and Jowl with Aglio Olio. The pasta and pork jowl is good however, the Cheese-filled pork is rather dry. Tried the Salmon fillet before, personally, find it not worth as the Salmon is very small. The cheese tart is very good, worth the try. Area is extremely crowded especially during weekends & peak hours. Took us about 30mins to find a table and 30mins to queue for the food. It is also quite squeezy and hard to walk with all the food trolleys in the way.

❤️Love their meat balls and chicken wings. Saw they have this cute Santa chocolate lava bun and mini log cake during this festive period. Both are really really sweet though....

Ordered dishes from the halal section. The menu looked promising but the flavor was not as expected. Chicken chop was abit tough, flavor did not get it. Beef was pretty good. The beef balls certainly tasted different from the non-halal ones.

Ikea is always crowded, but you just can't resist going back for more! It's a great place to eat, shop, and meet friends! Setting: casual Suitable: everyone Parking: easy & free Price: reasonable, free coffee & tea for members Must try: salted egg chicken wings, meatballs and gourmet sausages Best time to visit: come at least one hour ahead of meal time to beat the crowd

Family friendly gathering place and I really appreciate IKEA is putting effort to renew the food menu with reasonable price point under the inflation pressure. On top of the classic option of fried chicken wings and meat balls , they are now also offering Salmon Lasagna which is authentic and good ,very creamy and fresh. the winner goes to sticky rice chicken wrapped by lotus leaves , can you imagine that IKEA can do a better job than most of dim sum place !!! It is so good with generous amount of fillings including salted egg yolk, chicken and etc. What is more, they also have the vegan option of impossible meat , which is good for different customers . Last but not the least, they move the snacks to level 1 entrance and upgrade the ice cream to $2 with a larger portion and cute strawberry flavor :) worth to try

More of a canteen.. then a restaurant... The food is OK. The chicken wings... Many people swear they are the best... But every time .. the chicken wings are cold. You say cheap... Also not cheap.... Say fantastic good.. also not say so. Their chicken wings.. are all fried and left there.. Even weekends when there are a lot of people.. they don't even have a warmer... All the wings are put on the plate... And on the counter for customer to take... Those are chill if not cold food.... Other than that.. they are famous for their meat balls.. Which I also find it just so so... Their salmon.... Actually have smell.... Then the rest are simply finger food... Nuggets and fries.... Cakes and tarts..... If u are a member... U get 2 cups of coffee for free. If not. It is 50 cents a cup... The coffee is just bland.. Overall.. it is just OK... Nothing really hype like.. super nice food... It is just a tuckshop...

🫤 I have always visited the branch nearer Lavender as the staff has always been friendly and kind, while the food there has always been up to standard. 😐 Staff were friendly and good service. The Mazu Mee Sau was quite nice, different from what I ate from other restaurant. The deep fried pork trotter a disappointment, was quite oily and the skin was not crispy, kind of hard to bite. Been here few time, feel the standard has drop.
