Closed on Sunday and pubic holidays This deliciously Mutton Soup normally sold out within one and half hour. Operated by Mr Tan's wife and daughter. They are courteous and friendly even with such a long queue. It's inexpensive They had been selling for about 7 to 8 years

Very long queue already started even b4 the place was open for business at 11am (sat)! They went out of lamb meatballs pretty fast, i joined the queue right at 11am (already 16 ppl b4 me), originally opt for the mixed soup (lamb meat/rib, stomach and meatballs), but luckily the lady staff said would throw in the remaining 2 meatballs and make up the rest with rib/meat. So i guess kinda treat that as a tasting menu of a sort! Portion was fair and rib meat cooked to perfection (and not too fatty), meatballs kinda chiuchow style, love the texture! And real nice service, attentive & polite staff, unlike some of the 'famous' stalls the staff could be quite rude. The soup was flavorful and could tell a hint of chinese herbs and ginger. The staff would ask how much peppers you wanted to add, which is v good, so kinda customary to your need. Plus, they can accommodate petite appetites like mine by adjusting the portion of rice (20 cents min, ask for ''少少飯”). Overall, 10/10 experience, will definitely visit again!

I arrived at 10 am and asked the lady boss what time they opened for business and was told 11am. I was smart enough to ask whether can I order first and thank God she accepted my order. I went around the market to buy some stuff and return at 10.30 am when I noticed many regular are already sitting there waiting to eat. As the crowd swell, the lady stopped accepting orders and request every one to queue up. I waited for 5 orders before the lady boss shouted for me to pick up the food. The Michelin Bib gourmand, which the stall was awarded, certainly live up to the name. The mutton was soft, and the soup was tasty and pair it with their in-house chilies, you certainly in heaven. By the time I finished my food, the queue had reached the coffee shop side, I am serious when you really need to queue for your food. Strongly recommended πŸ‘Œ

Added (March 2023). Started queuing at 10.44am, they open at 1045. Got my $8 mix mutton soup at around 11.02am. Godly : soup Having tired once at the end and now at the opening, the taste is actually quite different. Today the soup tasted more mellow... At least for the first 5min or so. But after the initial period it is game on, maybe due to soaking of the mutton. Taste of meat ball and meatball Notice they don't have ginger all over the place. Somehow they still masked the taste with minimum ginger while keeping the mutton taste intact. Meat has well ratio of fats and lean meat while meatball is pure mutton flavor. Together with rib they are better enjoyed without chili. Pros: Intenstine and stomach are flavorful and not super chewy, reasonable. Chili is good and goes well with the intestines and muttons but not advisable for the meat. Tendon, slimy so not for everyone but the collagen soaking up the flavor is very delicious. Bone marrow, rare to have the tulang but always great even though it is very little. Meh Rib meat tenderness some pieces were a bit on the tougher side, not the end of world but could also be due to the start of the day... ~ Started queuing a bit shy of 12pm. Waited for 1h almost sold out by my turn. They ran out of most meat before 12.50pm. So I got a 90% stomach and a bit of rib soup for $6. +40Β’ for small rice. A few wow factors. There is a live band!!! Hawker centre, live band go figure! You can pay them for selected song of your choice. Wow the size is a lot of $6. The soup is slightly off for me though. The sweet Chinese medicine herb and mutton doesn't match well for me. However the mutton rib is really off the bone tender yet has some welcoming chew to it. Another wow is you can ask for unlimited soup refill! Just bring your bowl over and ask! Bonus for comedic relieve by the lady taking the order... She mentally prepared us that there is no more meat left... Mainly stomach left lol. Overall I am really tempted to have a complete soup to see if tenderness of the meat is same as the rib. Oh and new price listing.

Long queue even before lunch time. Open at 11AM sold out at 12:30PM 🫣😲! Thankful that I was the last few in line to snatch a bowl. It was such a miracle that the store owner told me ζε–œδ½  (congratulations) when I walked away with my meal. $7 ribs + stomach. Portion was huge and broth was thicccccc. I was served at the near end and the soup was overpowering and flavorful. Would like to try the original taste of the soup. Would queue again!

Best Chinese herbal mutton soup in Singapore! Soup is flavourful yet not oily, and meat and stomach are perfectly done - so tender but still have the nice meaty-ness. Definitely worth the queue. Be sure to go early and prepare to queue, as it will be sold out by 12:30-1pm.

Arrived at 11am, there was already a long queue. Luckily it moves pretty fast, waited about 15 minutes. Got the 8 SGD lamb ribs soup set. I did like the lamb. The meat quality is good, tender, and falls of the bone. Reading all the reviews here I expected the portion to be bigger though (8 SGD is the largest size available, but didn’t feel there was that much meat). If you like lamb soup like me, this place is definitely worth a visit. Do arrive as early as possible because as they sell out pretty fast (sometimes they sell out by 12pm).

Long queue to order. Best to reach there before 12 noon. Food tends to run out before 1pm. The soup is tasty but oily. Overall, it's worth the $5 for mutton soup.

went there by train to Tiong Bahru Mrt station exit A take bus 16 or 851 (3 stops) alight at blk 116 .Arrive about 10:04am ,the friendly stall assistant asked me what's my order was and told me to go back to the stall around 10:40. At about 10:15 ,they started their business .I received my $10 yang Rou soup with lots of ribs and stomach ,super worth it !! Soup tastes fantastic, and the meat is tender and juicy . Compared to many other yang rou soup stalls in Singapore, ζŸ΄θˆΉε€΄ηΎŠθ‚‰ζ±€ is the BEST !!πŸ˜πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Mutton stomach and brains soup ($10 including rice) - Excellent. Fresh. Good portion of stomach and brain (both grey and white matter). Good herbal soup. From an earlier visit: Enjoyed the mutton meat and ribs soup with rice. Herbal, slightly salty, slightly bitter soup like turtle soup. The meat was tender and boneless.

Mutton soup is one of my favourite soup dish and I have tried several famous herbal mutton soup stalls in Spore, and I have to say this is the BEST mutton soup in Spore. The meat is very tender, and the soup is super rich & thick with various herbs, orange peel, Chinese cooking wine n ginger. Totally deserving of their Michelin Bib Gourmand award πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

I voted this as my best herbal mutton soup stall in Singapore. The serving portion of the soup and meat was generous enough to satisfy my hunger pangs. The soup tasted great and the meat was so soft and tender that it could be detached from the bone easily. Constantly long queue during their operation hours but waiting time is reasonably fast. The lady who is in-charge of taking your order is courteous and has good memory to register every single detail of your order request.

A very popular and renowned hawker stall selling lamb soup. It's the Chinese herbal type of soup normally eaten with a chilli dipping sauce and rice. Very comforting and old school flavours. I had the lamb ribs, tendon and stomach and it was great! The line is long but worth the wait. The lady taking the orders was very helpful and attentive. Give Good service and good food.

Probably the best herbal mutton soup. Long Q but efficient. Though the business is super good but they are still very humble, friendly and polite. It makes every cent spent here worth it. Keep it up

I’ve eaten at this store a number of times. The at least 30 mins long queue waiting to almost the Coffeshop, a telltale of its popularity. The $5.00 mutton only soup seems to be lesser than the last visited couple of years. Tender Mutton in Chinese herbal soup, soft, chewy, easily tear, soup a bit too salty like in Ramen, the herb is a hint, not overly, but would like it a bit stronger herbal taste for perfection. The store owner have to talk loud and sometimes commanding to get the message across, perhaps due to their wearing of mask. Overall, worth the queue and recommended.

Arrived 11:06 on a weekday, alr 20 ppl in the queue. Waited for about 20 min to be my turn. The mutton is tender and well cooked, soup taste wise okay but nothing particularly amazing. Price is pretty cheap as well so it really is a good deal. Sth I won't come all the way and queue for but if you drop by and queue is less than 20 min I'd say go for it. Lady serving is very nice and courteous.

Really good Chinese mutton soup. The herbal taste is there but not overwhelming. The mutton was really tender and well prepared. I ordered the $10 muttons ribs with stomach and the portion is very generous. Rice is $0.50 for a big portion of rice. $10.50 is very well worth it for a good mutton soup. Try to come early because the queue starts way before the opening hours.

Favourable and affordable Mutton soup with excellent and friendly services. Expect long queue but the wait is worth it. You have to try yourself to know how good it is. Have to go early as their operating hours is short, closed by 1.30pm.

The mutton meats perfectly cooked, tender and easily slipped off the ribs bones. Chillies sauce slightly salty.

Its madness as you continue with the wavey Queues. But the lady that took the orders is just marvellously competent with her muscles brained works. She just pull us thru with her wit And efficiency in taking down the orders. The mutton variations in parts and portions are in mandarin & therefore just challenging for Engreased English speaking like me. I pulled thru with mixed parts and tendons for my orders. It's so good. Our Indonesian helper enjoys the tulang And tendon with slurps and shiokness. The soup is powerfully brewed to its Finest sedapness. It's a MUST try stall To carry on makan.

The queue could be 30 to 35 peoples deep and may take an hour and a half to be served. Its worth the time spent waiting. The herbal mutton suop is first class. The portions are generously given

Plenty of meat in the mutton soup. The herbal soup is great. Personally i find it too sweet but i suppose it is the natural flavour of the ingredient so it is just my personal preference. Often takes at least 30 mins to queue at lunch and can be longer sometimes. Go early else the meat may run out. Once owner offered free flow of soup ( no extra meat ). Easy to find seats at this hawker center

One of the best mutton soups I’ve tried ever. Hearty, generous servings and really yummy. The soup is made by two-three older ladies with another very friendly lady helping to collect and prepare orders. Well-deserving of its 5-consecutive years of Michelin Bib Gourmand accolade. Come early to beat the long queues.
