Love the Chinese rice stall in this coffee shop. They may not have lots of varieties but they changes almost half of their dishes daily(they do not even serve curry everyday like most Chinese rice stalls) so you can eat there everyday for a week and probably not eat a same dish twice. Need to be there early because some days they are sold out by 12PM!

Love the chicken rice and duck rice here. You can also choose to have it with noodles. Sides of vegetables are also offered. Pretty busy at lunch but with a high turnover. Takeaways available. One of my favorite joints to satiate my mid day hunger pangs.

This quickly became my go-to lunch spot during my first few weeks in Singapore. It's a fairly limited menu, but everything I tried (char siew, chicken, duck) was absolutely DELICIOUS. Extremely well priced with swift serving and a decent sitting area.

Love love love the chicken rice here! Personally, this is the best chicken rice in Singapore for me. They nailed everything right - fluffy, flavorful and perfectly cooked rice, tender and juicy roasted chicken, the insanely delicious chicken skin, and the chilli that compliments everything together perfectly. Top it off with generous portions and we have here a winner!

One of the best, cheapest and most underrated chicken rice and teh o in the country. Much better than the Michelin starred ones. Chicken rice - fragrant, generous serving size, roasted to near perfection. Teh O - fragrant, good quality tea leaves. Definitely a favourite of the office crowd during peak lunch hours which I usually avoid.

A hot favourite for office workers who work in the vicinity, good food at affordable prices. Love love their chicken rice, one of the top contenders in my list of chicken rice favourite stores. Their gizzard is also perfectly cooked. Always satisfied after eating here, the coffee/ tea is also well made. Their macaroni soup is also perfect for a rainy day or under the weather day.
