👍👍 Fantastic restaurant serving fusion French / Italian cuisine with Japanese touch . This is a hidden gem in River Valley !! The smoke tuna appetiser has a very refined well blended flavour of savoury, sour, creamy and smoky. Our favourite is the pork collar, it is cooked to just the right doneness,... Fantastic restaurant serving fusion French / Italian cuisine with Japanese touch . This is a hidden gem in River Valley !! The smoke tuna appetiser has a very refined well blended flavour of savoury, sour, creamy and smoky. Our favourite is the pork collar, it is cooked to just the right doneness, very tender and the sauce was just explicitly delicate. The Lamb chop was also extremely tender but for me, there was a slight tint of gamy taste which was still ok for me. The chef really put in a lot of care to create & present the dishes. Ambience was great for those looking for quite, relax atmosphere. I think they are a bit under whelming on the pasta and steaks. Taste was quite average for the baby squid spaghetti & the flower crab spaghetti. In terms of dessert, the tiramisu was very good rich alcohol & creamy taste. Creme Brûlée’s was excellent too. Highly recommend!

Contemporary Fine Japanese French cuisine. Come here if u are wana try something different and flavorful. Oysters are fresh and plump. Carbonara is creamy and well seasoned. Filled with small slices of pork belly. The most interesting dish would be their signature squid ink risotto. It came with a tangy sauce that looks like chicken rice chili. Goes very well with the squid. But slightly disappointed since the risotto are mashed and pasty form in order to stuffed into the squid. Crème brûlée is torched nicely and not too sweet, came with some fresh fruits We had Flower crab tomatoe cream pasta (which is no longer in the menu) and wagyu previously was both very good and flavorful. Do expect to pay a premium for these fine cuisine!

Amazing food French/Japanese fusion. Every dish was carefully executed at Michelin star level. The oysters are delicious and fresh. We loved the squid filled with risotto. Anchovy dish with pickled veggies. As well as shrimp battered and dragonfruit sauce. There is not one dish that disappointed. We will come back.

I've been here twice and thoroughly enjoyed my dining experiences - I definitely this is one of those F&B establishments worth supporting, during this difficult time. The freshness of their ingredient is top-notch, and dishes are well executed and friendly for both small and large group meals. A lot of people mentioned their oysters - they are really that good and totally worth the premium price. Aside from food, staff were really friendly, corkage is charged at $30 which is really really reasonable for a restaurant of their calibre, and lastly and very importantly, they don't do multiple sittings, which is becoming a common practice these days and really annoys me - I get it you need to make more money, but we consumers spending so much on a meal deserve to have a good fun time without having to worry about some stupid 2-hour limit. I also understand they are running some very good promotion during this period, be sure to check it out!

Ala carte here is really good but the Chef Degustation (Omakase) is the best! You get to try different menus each time as the chef remembers what you were served every time😀 Staff are friendly and attentive too. This place should be Michelin recommended.

The oysters were really fresh and tasted a bit creamier than the usual ones. The risotto was not too bad either. However, the hamburg steak didn't impressed. Overall, a decent restaurant with its prices.

The salmon is super nice, the avocado cheese is really melting 3. The grilled scallop and the mashed potato is really out of this world 4. The risotto mushroom is chef kissed 5. The steak is well done, very tender and really is very goof Forgot to take photo of the beef and the dessert.. cos its too good

Oh my goodness, I cannot speak highly enough about this French restaurant with a hint of Japanese fusion that I recently had the pleasure of dining at! From start to finish, every moment of the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Let's start with the food. Oh my goodness, the food! Every bite was a heavenly explosion of flavor that left me wanting more. The fusion of French and Japanese cuisine was executed perfectly, with each dish blending the best of both worlds to create something truly unique and unforgettable. The oysters, in particular, were so good that we had to order another round just to savor the flavor a little longer. But the food wasn't the only thing that made this dining experience so unforgettable. The service was truly Michelin star-worthy, with every member of the staff going above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable, well-fed, and thoroughly enjoying ourselves. From recommendations on what to order to seamless coordination of each course, the service was impeccable. And finally, the atmosphere of the restaurant itself was simply perfect. Despite the high-end feel of the place, the vibe was welcoming and accommodating, with a truly authentic feel that made us feel right at home. The fusion of French and Japanese decor added to the overall experience, creating a truly unique and unforgettable ambiance. All in all, I simply cannot recommend this French-Japanese fusion restaurant enough. Every aspect of the experience was top-notch, from the food to the service to the ambiance. If you're looking for a dining experience that is truly out of this world, look no further than this incredible restaurant.

This place is a gem of a restaurant! The French-Japanese fusion food is delicious, the wine selection is fantastic, and the decor is modern and elegant. Watching the chefs work felt relaxing, and you could tell they cared a lot by the way they were checking the tables from time to time. The service was fast but not rushed. When we asked very last minute if we could get a candle on our dessert they accommodated and even wrote a little happy birthday message with chocolate. We will definitely come back!

Cozy and relaxed ambience, delicately prepared, well presented dishes (for all except one dish) and expected good results delivered. Enjoyed the experience, food, and service. Keep it up, Pixy!! Smoked tuna was savoury and not overly smoked, blue cheese dijonnais sauce was light and didn’t power over the flavour of tuna. The sweetness of tuna came through well. Grilled Iberico Pork Collar was done just right, juicy and the garlic purée complimented the meat well. Lamb chops were done in perfection, juicy and slightly gamy in its jus, the ratatouille cut through the fats which was both crispy on the outside and creamy inside, parsley oil added another layer of flavour to the dish. Grilled Squid was complex in tastes and flavours: squid ink, Romesco sauce, and yoghurt sauce combinations brought multilayers of savoury, sweetness, tangy, creamy all in one bite. Baby Squid pasta was flavourful, tender squids were mildly savoury and tender, herbal flavoured; I love the sun dried tomatoes’ plumpness and sweetness. Pasta was al denté. Spaghetti of Flower crab tomato cream was al dente, meat sauce was lighter than expected, with lemon or some citrus zest hidden in it, and some anise/fennel flavours subtly buried under the lightly cheesed sauce. I did not detect flower crab flavour in the sauce. The pasta was slightly under seasoned so I requested salt and pepper shakers. Overall still a good dish. Was looking forward to taste their hamburger steak again but it was not in the menu this time. Perhaps it would be put on the menu again the next time when I visit Pixy 🤞🏻 Recomposed tiramisu was good especially with its generous rum at the bottom of the plate. However, I feel it lacked the dairy creaminess and it was rather two-dimensional. Service was good and timing was spot on. Friendly people. All and all, Pixy is definitely worth the visit, anytime.

Simplistic looking restaurant, lovely atmosphere 👌🏻 love the complimentary dessert for our anniversary❤️ Their steak and duck breast were tender and moist. Love the wasabi with the steak, simply delicious & my all time favorite combo. There’s a tangy flavor to the duck breast coasting which I found not very flattery to my taste. We ordered a risotto as well but it wasn’t photogenic enough to post 🥲 the rice was half-cooked, hard to chew … I don’t recommend that dish. Note: shortage of staff and chefs so the waiting time for food to be served was longer than expected.

Enjoyed the food very much! Flavours were nicely balanced and ingredients were very nice as well. Had possibly the best risotto i’ve ever had here. Am definitely coming back.

To be very honest when we entered, the ambiance was nice but it smelled bad, like sewage issue. Food is decent but the price point wasn’t - if a restaurant were to charge this much ~$45 for a main dish, customers would expect a more premium product than “decent”. Service wasn’t fantastic either, so you can probably get a better experience nearby at Wolfgang or Publico.

Unique dining experience with a classic class decor complemented by the open viewing of kitchen delights coupled with a collection of fine artistically created dishes wrapped with the inviting friendly service. We had the best One Man Band Waiter, Chef, Manager, and Experience Conductor who delighted us at every step of the dining journey. Thanks for the sensory joy and happy memories.

Had a good dining experience about two to three years ago during the Covid period. Came back to Pixy for the second time for dinner. We ordered three dishes - bouillabaisse, grilled iberico pork collar and grilled squid, squid ink risotto. In general, the taste of the dishes is decent but we had some issues with the freshness and texture of the ingredients. The bouillabaisse consist of two pieces of cuttlefish tentacles, one scallop, two prawns, three pieces of mackerel and some clams. Some of the ingredients wasn’t fresh and we highlighted it to the chef. He claimed that the prawns were frozen. The taste was definitely not sweet (menu indicated that it’s sweet prawn) and was mushy. The clams tasted bland, overcooked and soft. This dish is a chef’s recommendation but I definitely wouldn’t recommend it. The taste of the grilled iberico pork collar was nice but it was at least 50% fat. Have tasted many iberico pork collar before but never this fat. The accompanying sides were decent. The grilled squid was nicely done. However the risotto’s in the grilled squid was like a paste. Overall the ambiance and service was nice but all the three dishes were underwhelming. It’s also unusual that a restaurant of that size has only one chef and one server on a Saturday evening.

Have already been here a number of times, this is a hidden gem, what I love most is that you get all the Japanese seasonal ingredients here (so I look forward to seeing what’s on the menu each time) executed in very well-cooked, comforting and tasty Italian dishes. I was delighted when I saw amadai on the current menu, and it was so good! The pork was really tasty as well, and so was the asari clam pasta, the tiramisu always hits the spot. The food makes me feel like I’m in a small hidden restaurant in Tokyo, being served by the chef and having a delightful time. Thank you chef!

Stumbled into this place whilst looking for a place to eat on Mohamed Sultan. Interior decor and general atmosphere is very nice. Service was first rate. The food was excellent as well. We tried a number of dishes including the Sweet Prawn Ajillo, Pork Collar, and Duck Breast. The pork and duck were both brilliantly cooked and moist and tasty. The chef obviously has a passion to his craft. I would recommend, and would go again.

Overall truly bad experience and will not go back to this place. Service was acceptable. The food had hit and misses but for the price, it really is not worth it. We had to send back 2 of our pastas and our soup to be re-done cos it was tasteless. When it came back the pasta was too salty. We also had to pay 3 dollars for 1 take away box. Never have we ever had to pay for take away at a restaurant. If we knew this. We would have just left the bad food behind to waste.

One of our favourite "Franco-Japanese" cuisine. Seasonal grilled ika - perfectly cooked and brought out its natural sweetness. Duck breast was delicious and sophisticated - sure to impress and satisfy even the most discerning palates. Service was great - attentive and knowledgeable, and made sure we had everything we needed. Corkage is $30/bottle

Food, service and ambience are all 10/10! We've been here a couple of times and everything tastes good so far. They also change their menu every once a while: - Wara-smoked tuna: 5⭐ Fresh and tart, great appetizer. - Roasted duck breast: 4.5⭐ Very generous with the duck and love the sauce and veggies. Duck is very tasty, but just slightly gamey for sensitive taste buds. - Squid ink risotto: 5⭐ The risotto tastes great and the presentation is super cute. Veggie puree at the side compliments the dish well. - Tiramisu: 5⭐ One of the best tiramisu in SG. Very generous with the rum.

This was my first time at Pixy Restaurant. The food were all made from the freshest ingredients, with seasonal flavours. The chef (boss) is extremely friendly, and the sole waitress complemented him very well, as a dynamic duo. The Sakoshi Bay Oysters were extremely fresh and the Sashimi Carpaccio was immaculately grilled on the outside, while juicy and tender inside. Their Kagoshima Wagyu Beef A5 steak was accompanied by an exciting array of vegetables and sides. Its Japanese Carbonara was very creamy and rich, and it contains top grade bacon. A very good dining experience, and I look forward to return there. #choowai2023 #wongchoowaieats #wongchoowai #pixy #sgfoodbloggers #sgfoodshare #sgfoodies #sgfoodinfluencers #dinner #yummy #yummyfood #dinnerideas

THE BEST TIRAMISU I’ve had in a while. After we all took a bite, it was a unanimous “wow”! It did look quite unassuming but SO GOOD! Other than the desserts, the appetisers, sides and mains were equally delicious. The dishes took a while because it was a two-men team in the kitchen and they timed it so that all the mains were served at the same time. The Wagyu rump steak was so tender, it didn’t taste like a rump steak at all. We also couldn’t get enough of homemade chilli sauce that came with the fries.

Had a private event here. Service was decent. They moved the table after they noticed that I kept looking at the dripping AC. Food left much to be desired. Cheese platter- cheese sliced too thinly - so dry and had no flavor. Oysters - decent, but the sherry vinegar shallots overwhelmed the taste of the oysters. Smoked salmon with cured yolks - salmon was so incredibly fishy, couldn't really taste the ikura, the coffee crumble it was served with was too overwhelming (tasted like cinnamon and pepper?). Squid spaghetti - flavors were ok but pasta was not served al dente, likely not handmade. Steak - decent but served medium with no option for doneness. Charred brussel sprouts were nice but overall nothing special. Chocolate gateau - best part of the meal but nothing to shout about, plating was also mediocre. I definitely won't be back on my own dime.

I wish I could give this place 10 stars!! What delicious food and warm hospitality from both the young female wait staff and the 2 chefs helming the kitchen. The main chef Mr Nobu San even served the tables at times and talked to the customers briefly. We ordered oysters which were so so delicious, you literally drink them down. The smoked trout was beautifully plated with basil and cream cheese dressings. What a pretty pretty dish! Our mains were nothing short of amazing. Grilled pork collar was so juicy, succulent and filled with a deep smoky flavour. The accompaniments that came with it, baby corn and Brussels sprouts were full of flavour. I especially love the humble little baby corn. It looks so simple but was so crispy and morish! My hubby’s sea bass was tender and fresh with a piquant sauce. Overall we really enjoy Pixy. The lovely ambience, casual and low-key with comfortable seats and a romantic day light. The food was also much much better than some of the Michelin restaurants that we have been to. A definite hidden gem! 😙😙😙

A very spacious and cozy casual dining restaurant. Service waitress was very attentive. I find the food ingredients fresh and good however taste a little lackluster, not too sure if this is because the main chef was off for the day. Overall, I think worth giving a 2 try

Really not as expected with the price they charge... Fresh ingredients but just not "tasty" enough... With the price u pay, maybe should be a little more than expected... Staffs are friendly, chefs from Japan are friendly, just thought that they don't "handle" customers "well" during the closing time... It seem they just to quickly get u out the door n go home, even thou we know is the convid period n shops "must" close on a "certain time"... Go for the "freshness" n nothing more than that...

Cozy ambience, value for money degustation menu. What seems like a limited menu is made up for by quality ingredients and beautiful execution. Sakoshi bay oysters, porcini rissoto, grilled squid, wagyu rump steak, pork collar, lamb chop were all stellar.

Great main courses, I liked the lamb racks and beef. Tiramisu was perfect and balanced with the right alcohol and coffee amount. The drinks however were not good and not strong. Nothing special about the cocktails. I may come back for the food but not drinks.
